On June 28, 2024, my husband and I had our wedding at Pickwick Place. The decorations I didn’t rent from Pickwick, I crafted myself. Luckily, they are located right around the corner from my house, so I didn’t have to tote them far! For that reason alone Pickwick seemed like the perfect venue for us. Especially when we considered the memories we had already made at the grounds at both the Market and the Café. When I explained my wedding theme as “Celestial Dustbowl” no one seemed to get it, but the Day-of-Event-Coordinator, Kathy, was excited, offering suggestions to complete my vision. I had Pinterest Dreams on a Pauper’s Budget, but the aesthetics of the venue did a lot of the heavy lifting and for a more-than-fair price! Of course the night was also made whole with the help of my wonderful Indigo Fields Creative (photographer) and OHC Events (DJ, photobooth, & cloud dance).
One heartfelt anecdote from my wedding day. Near the end of the night, after the photographers left, and most of the those dancing exited the floor, I was exhausted. The little girls begged for me to continue dancing with them. I told them I needed to grab a drink quickly. By the bar, Kathy asked me how I was doing. I remarked on how tired I was, but the girls just didn’t want to give me a break! Kathy looked at me, full of sincerity, and said, “Today, to those girls, you are a princess. This is a memory they will always have. Dancing with a princess.” I don’t know if Kathy knew it, but that moved me so deeply. It gave me a second wind, do get out there for more dancing with the kids.
I am so glad we chose Pickwick, and I think you should too.

Our experience with the Pickwick was an overall amazing experience. There is not one thing that I would have wanted differently. The convenience of the parking, location, online store, and on site coordinator made picking this venue so easy. Kathy the on site coordinator was so helpful throughout the whole time, even if it was a year out she would answer all questions. We loved being able to have not only a beautiful venue for the ceremony but also the reception. The Pickwick is truly one of the best venues you can find!
The Loft was the best place for our wedding! Everyone was so helpful with any questions and comments we had along the way. Our day went so smoothly and there was no way we could’ve done everything that we did anywhere else!
This was such a wonderful venue for our winter wedding! It was way too cold to do pictures outside that we did all pictures inside & they turned out absolutely stunning! The staff of Pickwick really take care of all your needs. That was so helpful. Highly recommend!

This venue is great. They allow a lot of freedoms if you’re looking to do more DIY, but they also have a great list of rentals if you’re not. We loved how the ceremony and the reception are all in one building. The outside is fantastic for pictures as well. Kathy and Laura really helped our special day be super special!
I couldn’t be happier with my choice in venue! Especially with all of the complications and rescheduling from COVID. Kathy was so amazing to work with and the venue itself is stunning! You hardly have to put any work into decorating because the place is already gorgeous. It was so convenient to be able to have the ceremony on the first floor and the reception on the second floor. I’d choose this venue over and over again! You should too!!
From beginning to end the staff at Pickwick place will (literally) make your dreams come true. This beautiful farm has a home town feel on the outside and a pinterest-style look on the inside. From the wood floors and exposed brick to the industrial ceiling with warm string lights and chandeliers this place is a natural beauty. On top of looks of The Loft, the chapel downstairs is equally charming. Rose was so easy to work with. She is very flexible and open to new ideas. She was prompt and always on the ball!! The (included) day of event coordinator, Kathy, worked to ensure our day was perfect down to the last detail. From lighting candles and setting out buttermints to cleaning up our aisle rose petals she made our day so smooth and effortless. The bartenders were incredible and were so quick on the move there was hardly ever a line at the bar. The staff was there at the end of the night to help clean up. This place is just beautiful and perfect in every way!! I would choose Pickwick place over and over again!
We loved The Loft, the moment we walked in! An amazing, romantic atmosphere, and everyone was so helpful everytime we needed assistance. It was great to do the ceremony and reception in one place. So many compliments from our guests! Would definitely recommend!
I can't say enough good things about Pickwick Place, it was the best venue for our wedding. My family loved it, the guests adored it, and everything turned out exactly how I wanted it. Ever since I was a little girl, I have dreamed about 'The Perfect Wedding,' and the Loft helped me achieve everything that I wanted and more. They were always there to help guide me in the right direction, and answered my questions quickly and promptly to make sure that everything was up to par. When you work with someone for your wedding, you want to be their absolute first priority. With Pickwick, we felt that. They wanted my day to be just as wonderful as what I wanted. It's a special place with special people. I highly recommend their venue and their services. They will make your dream day come to life!
Planning a wedding was overwhelming, but the employees at The Loft/PickWick Place made this process this easiest process of our lives. They were respectful, always helpful, contagiously positive, and made sure everything went smoothly during the big day. We are incredibly happy with our wedding venue choice, and as cliché as this sounds, it truly was the perfect day. We had nothing to worry about except enjoying the ride.
The loft was absolutely perfect for my wedding day. I had both my ceremony and reception there. First off the venue itself is gorgeous. As a bride you really don't need to add hardly anything at all for this venue to be perfect. Also the service and freedom Pickwick provides for brides lets you craft your day to be whatever you have been dreaming about. I used Pickwick's Emcee service as well. It was an amazing decision. The guys did great with music and guiding our reception along, not to mention it beats the price of actually hiring a DJ! Kathy was also a big help on the wedding day and recommending vendors throughout the process. If you're looking for a place to get married, this is the place to do it hands down!
Everything ran so smoothly and was absolutely perfect thanks to the help of the Kathy and the bartender, Brittany! It was great to be able to have the ceremony and reception all at one location. Additionally, being able to schedule the rehearsal the night before the wedding that also allowed us time to decorate the venue-- took a lot of stress off that could have impacted Saturday morning. Also, having the option to rent several different items and the fact they are already set up by the time you get there was a great bonus! For both of us being from around the area it was great to be able to have such a beautiful venue available. When looking at venues I had to keep in mind that we would have older guest that would be attending so the fact that Pickwick had an elevator was awesome bonus. I highly recommend Pickwick to anyone looking, I loved every second of having our wedding there!
We loved everything about having our wedding ceremony and reception at The Pickwick Place. It was very easy to schedule a time for us to have our rehearsal, decorate the venue the night before, and spend the whole day there relaxing and getting ready before the ceremony began. The walls/natural decor of The Loft make decorating easy as there was little that needed to be added! Clean-up was easy and the staff was very helpful in answering any questions we had along the way! The building, inside and out, is perfect for pictures! We recommend The Pickwick Place to future brides and grooms.
We loved every minute at the beautiful venue. The staff is super helpful and makes sure everything they can control goes smoothly and exactly how you’ve imagined it. So glad we decided on Pickwick!
I am so glad I chose Pickwick for my wedding! I had an amazing experience and have referred them to several engaged people already. I love the fact that the venue has ceremony and reception space all in one building, includes a wedding coordinator, you can rental decor items, you can provide your own alcohol, they offer bartending services, and my favorite - awesome sound systems with microphones but upstairs and downstairs! I didn’t even need a DJ and used an aux cord for my ceremony and reception music (had my friend be the MC). Everything was so perfect and my guests raved about how neat the venue was. I highly recommend Pickwick Place to anyone! There is also a hotel literally 1/4 of a mile down the road which makes it more convenient for a place for you and your guests to stay as well :-)
The venue is GORGEOUS and Kathy (the day-of-coordinator) was a HUGE help! They have a lot of rental options to choose from which helps decrease the hunt for things such as linens. My only complaint is the price for the amount of time we had. We did a lot of searching for venues and found several that we really liked that were charging the same price as Pickwick except those places were charging that amount for access for the night before AND the day of... some were even for the whole weekend! We ended up choosing Pickwick over the others primarily based on the location because it was so close to home for us and most of our guests.
At Pickwick, we had to have our rehearsal on the Thursday before the wedding due to an event being scheduled there on Friday. Also, for that same reason, we weren’t allowed in to decorate until 7AM the morning of the wedding. My hair stylists and make up girl started at 8AM so I just felt that because I was in the Loft helping decorate, I missed out on a lot of special quality “getting ready time” with my girls not to mention I was running around like a crazy lady in attempt to make sure everything was perfect! I’ll admit, I didn’t expect it to take so long to decorate considering we didn’t even really do anything extreme but I guess I underestimated all of the little details!
All in all, everything turned out great and we really enjoyed our time!
Rose and Kathy were so easy to deal with, responded back quickly, and honestly made the day go so smoothly! I'm pretty sure Rose thought I was nuts when I booked my wedding here before it was even built but I couldn't be happier I did! It was GORGEOUS! And such a reasonable price! I loved the fact that you could bring in your own caterer and alcohol as well, honestly I wouldn't change a thing about the Pickwick Place!
The loft is absolutely beautiful, the owners are so helpful and attentive and the location is conveniently located close to a hotel for guests to stay in. Rose was always quick to respond to our many questions. Great venue to use!
The families behind the remodel at Pickwick did an AMAZING job. The place looks so wonderful and both the ceremony and reception space are perfect. No details went overlooked from the string lights to the chairs, all of the decor, everything was thought out and looks amazing. I loved every moment of my wedding there!!!
The Loft at The Pickwick Place exceeded our expectations for our wedding reception. The beautiful brick walls and the exposed beams, draped with cafe lights, provided a beautiful backdrop. The newly refurbished Loft is one of the few AC barns in the area! Rose, our event contact, was so easy to work with and helpful in everything we asked of her, including linen rental and pre-event questions.
