The Madison Hotel was a beautiful and unforgettable venue for our wedding. We got married in their glass conservatory, which is truly one of the most stunning spaces imaginable. The natural light, elegant atmosphere, and overall charm made it the perfect setting for our ceremony.
The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how incredible everything tasted. While we did experience some communication issues at times, having our coordinator, Emily, made all the difference. With her help, everything ran smoothly, and our day was absolutely perfect.
Overall, The Madison Hotel is a gorgeous venue with outstanding food and a timeless, romantic feel. We are so happy we chose it for our wedding!

The Madison Hotel was the best venue. The conservatory is perhaps the most stunning room I've ever seen. It took everyone's breath away. The ballroom is a great size and really well laid out with the dance floor in the center. And a huge plus is all of the picturesque locations for wedding photos and portraits: the beautiful exterior, the oak panelled bar, the refurbished dining train cars! Plus, the convenience of having everything for the wedding weekend take place under one roof cannot be understated. We had our rehearsal dinner in the Garden Room, and our after party in GK's Red Dog Tavern, and our farewell brunch in the hotel lobby at continental breakfast. It could not be more seamless. Not only was it easy for us to have everything in one place, but our guests were so appreciative of how easy it was to be able to stay on site. The train ride from Penn Station could not be any easier either, especially for those from the city who were able to travel there and back in one day. Just a super convenient location all around! We had a great time working with Kellen Wittrien and TIm McHale in the lead up, and Joe Zimmerman as our Maitre D' on the day of. We had A LOT of changes to the cocktail hour passed hor d'oeuvres and Tim was incredibly willing to work with us, accommodating all of our requests! Joe also made sure we were well fed on the night of our wedding, bringing us cocktail hour food and packing our dinners to eat later that night. Alexa Verderame was also very helpful with the Room Block set up.

Madison Hotel made our wedding unforgettable! From the easily accessible location (literally a stone's throw from Convent St., perfect for friends coming from NY), to the gorgeous conservatory that our guests still can't stop raving about, everything about this venue was perfection. Charles, catering manager, and Joe Z., our day of maitre'd, made the process smooth and were endlessly reliable with all of our questions and concerns. The champagne wedding brunch package was all we needed for our 50-person post-elopement celebration and it came with so much! More than we'd even dreamed to ask for! A bridal suite for the wedding night, an incredible food selection and open bar, a 3-tier wedding cake from Calandra's built into the price, a getting ready room for the ladies, endless accommodations and suggestions, all in one package! What was just supposed to be a low key reception ended up being my new standard for what a wedding celebration could be!

This place is not handicap accessible. Especially for handicapped people. Toilets are low reception area for weddings no
Way if you’re handicapped can you go from one area to the other. Very disappointed.

We had a great experience at The Madison Hotel for our wedding! Leading up to the wedding, the team at The Madison was responsive and organized. The hotel block process was a breeze, and they even adjusted our hotel block room rates when we noticed prices dropped right before our wedding.
We got married in The Conservatory, had our cocktail hour in The Victorian Suite & Coach Room, and had our reception in The Conservatory. Our guests could not stop raving about the food and drinks, and the overall atmosphere of the venue. We had ~75 guests which was absolutely perfect in The Conservatory.
We could not believe how convenient it was to have everyone and everything in one spot for our wedding weekend. It was such a stress reliever knowing that guests could run up to their rooms if they needed something, etc. It also made it a lot easier for our older guests to not have to transport to multiple locations over the course of the weekend.
Overall, we would highly recommend The Madison Hotel for your wedding. It was an amazing weekend and we wouldn't have had it any other way!

I recently had my wedding at the Madison Hotel. I can say that my wedding was the wedding I always dreamed of. From beginning to end, the staff was very professional, especially my Maitre'd Joe Zimmerman and his assistant Jose. From the day of the rehearsal till the next day of the wedding they were fantastic. We held our rehearsal dinner at Rods and the food was phenomenal. The day of the wedding, the ceremony was held in the dreamy conservatory and the reception was in the grand ballroom. The transition went seamlessly. They worked very well with all my vendors, DJ, photographer, and string quartet. I had a decorator that they let her come in to stage early and when the conservatory and ballroom were available, they let her right in. I also loved that they provided a bridal suit to get ready in the day of. The whole staff was very attentive and courteous. The food was absolutely amazing at cocktail hour and the reception, we had no complaints! Two bars with top shelf liquor was available the whole night. At the end of the night we had a sparkler sendoff, the staff knew exactly what to do and it all worked out perfectly. We stood at the hotel both nights. The night of the rehearsal we had separate king size bedrooms and the wedding night they provide us with a complimentary wedding suite, which was amazing. I highly recommend the Madison Hotel.

Honestly the place is so beautiful it’s hard to think about anything else. Fairytale. Great food, incredible banquet staff, maitre d Kellen was truly the BEST. I used to be a maitre d and have so much respect for the time and effort she puts in to her job. Only issues I ran into were things that didn’t really matter in the end so I’m still giving 5 stars. The hotel wasn’t the easiest to get in touch with and we had a few hiccups over the year of planning with them. That being said, rock stars like Alexa in the sales team there really turned it around. The restaurant was also very difficult for me and my MIL to set up rehearsal dinner plans and they weren’t the best with customer service. The dinner definitely ran FAR too long which dampened the night a smidge. Food was great though. We love going there for a regular dinner, just not a private event. It was also so nice not having to leave the property. Overall it’s a fantastic place to have a wedding.

The Madison Hotel was the perfect backdrop to an unforgettable wedding weekend. The food, drinks, and service were superb and The Conservatory at night was something from a fairytale. The administrative staff went above and beyond to help make our day go seamlessly and despite an earthquake happening on the morning of our wedding, everything went as planned! Many of our guests were from out of town and expressed how much they enjoyed their hotel rooms, the beautiful lobby, and continental breakfast. We loved the fact that we did not have to leave the Madison Hotel premises for our wedding weekend events, as our rehearsal dinner was hosted in the beautiful Victorian Room and Rod’s and The Red Dog served as perfect “Welcome Drinks” and after-party locations. Thank you, The Madison Hotel, for an awesome experience and for making our wedding day so special!

Working with The Madison Hotel was an absolute dream. Timothy handled every aspect of our planning with the utmost care and professionalism. Communication was top notch and the team was very responsive with any questions we had. The flow of our wedding day was seamlessly executed and our maitre’d Carolina was the sweetest! From taking deep breaths with me before I walked down the aisle and helping to bustle my dress during cocktail hour and making sure I was eating she was a huge help. Our entire wedding day was nowhere near stressful knowing we were in great hands with the team working perfectly with our other vendors as well. The service we received was impeccable and we are so grateful to be one of the lucky couples who had their wedding in The Conservatory!

I chose The Conservatory at The Madison Hotel as the venue for my bridal shower in May 2022. This venue was one that I had on my list for a very, very long time (even before getting engaged!) so they were one of the first calls I made once I knew my date.
|| The Conservatory is a dreamy, stunning, one-of-a-kind venue in New Jersey. I had the vision for a garden tea party themed bridal shower, and The Conservatory was the perfect backdrop for this event. As soon as you walk through the doors, it feels like you’ve been transported into a scene from a movie - the sunlight, plentiful seasonal flower arrangements (all of which are included as part of the decor throughout the year), classic chandeliers, and tasteful decor make for a very elegant event.
|| We were able to work with the event staff (Amy was lovely!) to customize the floorplan, table arrangements, and other small details. We wanted a completely vegetarian menu and they were able to accommodate that happily. We also wanted to set up a desserts table with a tiered cake, and they were open to us bringing in our own desserts. We were able to go in ahead of time to decorate, and got enough time to break down afterwards as well.
|| The staff at The Madison Hotel is lovely - they made sure the food was refreshed often, coffee/tea was always flowing, and our guests had only kind things to say about all of them. The food was delicious!
|| In addition to showers, The Conservatory would be a lovely venue for a dreamy ceremony and/or reception (the hotel has additional ballrooms that could work for a larger reception as well). Given how gorgeous the surroundings are, you’d only need minimal decor to bring the whole event together.
|| One tip - given how popular this venue is, they book up really quickly for showers , especially during peak months (April-June I believe), so make sure you reserve your date WELL in advance. I reached out around October for a May weekend lunch time slot, and there were already only a few options available.
|| The Conservatory at The Madison Hotel is a gem of a venue in New Jersey, and I’m so grateful to have gotten the chance to host an event there!

Everything about the Madison Hotel *screams* professionalism. From the first talk and tour to the very fact that everyone commented on how smoothly it operated, how professional everyone acted, to the food and the venue itself. We absolutely LOVED everything that the Madison did to help us on our big day, made it easy to communicate with them, and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. Thank you to everyone at the Madison for helping make our day special!!

We had a magical winter wedding at the Madison Hotel on 12/22/23. We had our ceremony and reception in the gorgeous conservatory. We absolutely loved the uniqueness of this room with its beautiful décor. This venue had always been a dream wedding location since driving by it as a teenager and admiring it from afar. We continue to receive compliments of how incredible and lovely everything was. The conservatory room is truly like stepping into a real life fairytale. It was clean and all of the transitioning from room to room the entire night went very smoothly. We were also so happy we were able to utilize the Victorian suite instead of the original plan for the cocktail hour to be underneath the conservatory. It is worth mentioning that the conservatory room itself is small and intimate. We had exactly 100 adult guests and felt we couldn’t have comfortably fit many more.
Although the day was fabulous, we did come across a couple of things that did not meet our expectations or were overall disappointing. We would like to also add that when we wrote a detailed email to the coordinating staff we had been working with to share our constructive feedback after our event, they NEVER RESPONDED!! Very frustrating and unprofessional.
To be specific, we had a few issues with the staff at the front desk being rude when communicating information to us and our guests during the last couple of months. Jon at the front desk is awesome and always happy to help. We were told we would hear from our assigned maître d’, once we were 10 days from the wedding, however, it was only 5 days before the wedding when we finally heard from our maître d’ Charles. In our opinion, this was not enough time to finalize the many details we had hoped to go over with him and, if you are a planner or are adding many personal touches, trust me you will also need more than just 5 days. Although we felt we were extremely diligent in relaying the vision of what we wanted for that day, there was still confusion about where the entry table was set up, the timing of the champagne before the ceremony, and the arrangement we wanted for our guest tables. When dinner orders were taken, our children (ages 10 and 12) were not offered a kids menu like we were promised they would be so they did not have dinner since we were not aware this was happening. Other than that, the food was excellent, but the passed hors d’oeuvres were limited. As the hosts of this event, we barely saw any pass us by and staff did not go out of their way to bring them to us.
During the rehearsal, and again on the wedding day, we had family and friends come to us reporting that Charles seemed to have a grumpy demeanor. Although he was always very nice and accommodating to us personally, the feedback that we got was that Charles was presenting as annoyed and impatient when we were not around.
It is important to point out that the mirrors supplied in the suites where the bridal party got ready were completely insufficient. They were thin, oval shaped, and small. They resembled antiques and some of us were joking that we couldn’t even fit our entire bodies into the view of the mirrors because they were so small. We included a picture of one of these mirrors so you can see for yourselves. We had to buy larger mirrors the night before and transfer them to the room, along with having our hair and makeup team bring their own mirrors. Being that the hotel holds several weddings a year, we would have hoped for more adequate mirrors since they are an integral part of the getting ready process.
Finally, within a few hours after the wedding, a family member realized they forgot an important item in their hotel room and we also forgot a personalized wedding hanger in the bridal suite room that had our last name on it. We were both unsuccessful in getting an answer from the hotel about the lost items after calling several times. We finally physically went to the hotel and they had the hanger all along, stating that they forgot to call us back. Being that this was a personalized hanger that was left in our assigned suite, we’re not sure why the room wasn’t checked at the end of the night, or even in the following days, to ensure we had everything out of there. We’re not understanding how this slipped through the cracks, but are grateful we were at least able to get it back.
Our best advice overall would be to visit the hotel a lot, ask all the questions you can think of, ensure your vendors are familiar with the venue, and be prepared that, despite trying to provide constructive feedback to the hotel afterwards, you may never get a response. Despite some of the negatives of our experience, we continue to advocate that the Madison Hotel is a fantastic location for a special event with a conservatory that is unmatchable! In our opinion, you will not find a more spectacular venue in NJ, but also be aware that the more meticulous you are about communicating all the details ahead of time, the better off you will be. Best wishes to you all!

I did not end up booking here, but this was hands down my favorite venue when I started browsing. The conservatory is drop dead gorgeous and looks even better in person. Thats where the good things end though.
The guy who I booked my appointment with forgot we had an appointment so we had to wait 45 minutes upon arrival. We were not offered drinks or anything. The room for cocktail hour is bland and kind of ugly and the associated outdoor space is so tiny. The bridal suite is just a conference room they moved the conference table out of and we were told we would only have access to it until 7 even though the wedding would end at 11 PM? We went to the expo they hold since this is the only way to sample the food and we were still unsure despite all the things listed above. We showed up after pre-registering to be told that they did not have us on the list. No big deal, but combined with them forgetting our appointment, they seem incredibly disorganized. Some of the food was decent, but the bowl of cheese they had in front of the mac and cheese was full of mold.
Overall, would say the conservatory is beyond beautiful, but its a bit of a mess and they have no business charging as much per plate as they do

It's hard to express how appreciative my husband and I are to this venue. My husband and I got married here on Friday. April 12,2024. When we were touring the venue, as soon as we stepped into the conservatory, we fell in love - goosebumps everywhere. The venue is elegant, spacious, and most importantly - can withstand the elements while still looking absolutely beautiful. The booking process was also pretty easy and straightforward with appropriate pricing for their extensive food and drink options and the complimentary room for my husband and I both on our wedding night and a year later.
During the planning process, my husband and I had a lot of questions as we were DIY-ing a good amount of items. We were met with patient responses in a quick manner, even if questions were already previously answered. We worked with both Joe and Charles (and a little with Tim) and all were equally patient and understanding.
The day of couldn't have went any better. Having everything in one place - the getting ready room, the ceremony, the reception, and our guest accommodations was a big reason for this. The largest reason for it going so smoothly, though, was Joe, our maitre'd for the evening. We had probably 15 boxes with items that we wanted laid out and him and the team set up the space even beyond what my expectations were. Joe made sure we were fed and had drinks the whole evening, timing our dining at our pace as to not have our food go cold or our guests unattended to - he also packed up our leftovers so we could enjoy them later. We also had some small glass breakage/decor breakage and him and his team cleaned it up efficiently and stealthily as to not disrupt our guests on the dance floor.
Truly, a night my husband and I will never forget and that's in large part to the Madison. Between the decor and the service both leading up to the day and on the day, their staff was nothing but professional, understanding, and just wonderful. Thank you all for everything you did to make our day so perfect!

We knew we wanted to get married at the Madison Hotel from the first time we stepped into their Conservatory as guests. It's a beautiful venue, and having everything on-location is so convenient. When we finally had our own wedding there this past summer, it exceeded our expectations, thanks in large part to the people we worked with. We communicated primarily with Tim throughout the planning process, and he was so patient and responsive to our many questions and requests, especially during renovations. He helped us organize a rehearsal, an after party, and a morning after breakfast, in addition to our ceremony and reception at the venue. Everyone he put us in contact with, from hotel staff for our room block to Red Dog Tavern for our after party, were equally helpful and professional. Our assigned maitre d was Charles, who made sure we had absolutely everything we needed for the wedding, from walking us through a rehearsal, to setting/cleaning up decor and making sure we always had food and drinks. Everyone at the Madison Hotel truly is a wedding expert, and we were so thankful for how easy they made things, enabling us to have the most memorable time ever!

The staff and the venue was lovely, but the food was so bad. The cocktail hour had shrimp that was so smelly as they passed it around, it literally left a trail of bad odor. The pastrami served was cut improperly- cut with the grain, so you couldn't eat it as the nerve was right down the slice and without a knife, was inedible. You literally couldn't bite through the piece. The coconut chicken was undercooked and there was smoked salmon wrapped around a mushy boiled potato??? What??? Dessert was very mediocre as well. Lots of choices, but fake whipped cream, bananas foster that wasn't ready and had a huge line- wasn't that good once completed. Small tarts tasted bland. Such a shame as I know the family paid a lot of money for a lovely event.

My experience at the Madison Hotel was terrible. My first night my TV didn’t work and room service was not available to fix it, then the TV beeped all night keeping me awake.
Management’s solution was to give me a $50 credit against my $279 room charge which was ridiculous. Who’d pay anything to be sleep deprived and tortured for 16 hours. Mgt was cocky and arrogant about my request to be comped for the list night. Pennies on the dollar and shortsightedness by Mgt as I am a frequent customer and I referred a lot of business there which I’ll never do again.

We had our wedding reception and morning after brunch at The Madison Hotel. We knew from the start that this would be our wedding venue. I found the hotel through google and we booked a tour for the following week. We had visited several other venues and my husband did not like any of them. The second we stepped into the hotel that all changed. From the beautiful Victorian design to the breathtaking all glass conservatory, we fell in love with the venue. It was the first venue my husband said he actually liked. We worked with Amy for most of the planning. Amy was easy to work with and responded quickly (she does work I think Thursday-Monday’s so if you email her during her days off she does have on out of office auto response, but she gets back to you the day she’s back). She was able to guide us through the planning process and answer all my questions along the way. On wedding day my maitre’D was Kellen. Kellen was equally amazing to work with! She worked with my coordinator to make sure everything went smooth. The reception was beautiful and ran so smoothly. Kellen even made sure I got a taste of everything at cocktail hour by setting up my own private table for my husband and I to have a moment of peace to eat! All my guests highly praised the staff. They kept saying how attentive everyone was from the maitre’d to the bar staff to the waiters. All the staff were amazing and you could tell they knew exactly what to do and have perfect timing. The morning after brunch was fantastic as well! All the food was delicious for both the reception and the brunch. My guests keep saying how great everything was. I highly recommend having your reception at The Madison (and do the morning after brunch!).

We held our reception in the Conservatory (ceremony at a local church). This room speaks for itself. The spring flowers that decorate the room were the perfect addition to our April wedding. With the room already having so much greenery, we didn’t have to go crazy with flowers for the reception which was a major plus for us! We worked with Charles through the planning process and he was easy to work with. He was a little disorganized on the day of (kept trying to put my guest book in the wrong spot) but during the event itself he continued to check on me and made sure I was happy with how everything was going so overall it was a good experience. Our guests loved how unique the venue was. Using the conservatory, our options were to have the cocktail hour outside on the patio or in the newly renovated room underneath. We used the room underneath and it was a little tight but no one seemed to mind. It was more of a traditional cocktail hour with passed apps than the now-trendy cocktail hours with a ton of stations that feels like a full meal. However, the dinner served includes a pasta course and a salad course before the main meal, so people did not go hungry. Also, for the conservatory the bathrooms are down the hall, which I was nervous about but I added some signage and it was fine. It was also a huge plus that the venue is a hotel so we could have our after party right in the attached bar and we didn’t have to worry about shuttles. The only downsides of this venue are that there are multiple weddings in a night, so the rooms are limited and our block sold out quickly.

I knew from the start I wanted an indoor wedding, as the weather is the one thing you can’t control and I didn’t want to have to stress about that. My husband and I also fell in love with the idea of having the hotel on site, so the Madison Hotel was the perfect choice for us. We had our ceremony in the conservatory, our cocktail hour in the Victorian suite, and the reception in the Glynallyn Ballroom. We are so happy with our choice of venue and our day was amazing! The conservatory is such a beautiful room and already has flowers in it, so you save money on florals by not needing to decorate the space. The food is incredible and there was so much at cocktail hour that we had a lot of variety without any additional upgrades. We had a 3 course meal followed by dessert - which you get 2 of because there’s cake and an additional option that comes in the package. The venue didn’t come with a bridal attendant, but rather a maitre d who oversaw the event. We had Charles who was absolutely wonderful in making sure we had everything we needed. He brought us all the food from our cocktail hour to enjoy privately in one of the getting ready rooms and was constantly checking on us throughout the night and bringing us drinks as needed. Having the hotel on site was amazing as us and all our guests were easily able to walk back to our rooms and change into comfy clothes after the reception and hang out at the hotel bar for the after party. The venue recently underwent some construction, but luckily we were not one of the couples affected by this and were told we were the last wedding in the old ballroom. I have heard that communication about these things has not been the best, and perhaps it’s because we were not affected by it, but I had no trouble at all emailing back and forth and getting my questions answered by hotel staff. The one thing I would note is that the venue can book the conservatory for other events prior to the wedding, which leaves only about an hour-hour and a half to set up the room for the wedding and limits your ability to take pictures in there beforehand if this happens. Luckily this didn’t happen to us, but it was added stress that they would book another event so close to our wedding and we would only have 30 minutes in this beautiful space.

Booked my wedding last year for 2023 because the ballroom was an elegant white and gold. Now we find out through instagram they are changing to dark blue or charcoal walls and blue carpets. Looks so tacky and not what we saw when we booked. Now I have to spend so much more trying not to clash with those ugly walls. When I called to complain, they didn't even care. Stay away from this place. They lie.

I am in a wedding in the spring 2023 and after months of planning and visions, the couples discovered a plan for some DRAMATIC renovations made to the ballroom - changing from champagne and gold colors to black walls and blue carpet. They were never notified either, found out through a social media post. Attempts were made to contact the hotel to discuss the upcoming renovations without any reply.
It is understandable a venue can make adjustments to their venue as they'd like but absolutely no communication or consideration for the couples about the dramatic changes and some with absolutely no notice to make any needed adjustments. Just very disappointing.
For future couples to consider, the pictures posted here will not reflect the ballroom you will see in person.

We loved everything about the Madison Hotel! The conservatory was absolutely stunning and we were able to have both our ceremony and reception in it. While we were planning, Tim MacHale guided us and answered all of our questions. He was always ready to jump on a call to go over everything and was very organized. The day itself ran smoothly. Our maître d' was Sharon Gomez - she was very attentive and made sure to check in with us throughout the night to make sure everything was good, she made sure everything was set up correctly and timely, and brought everything (welcome sign, card box, etc.) to our room at the end of the night which was extremely helpful. We did a first look and were able to take a bunch of pictures outside and inside the conservatory, which we really appreciated the coordination from the hotel - there was an event right before ours, so we had limited time in the conservatory, but it was available to us for about 30 minutes which was great, as our ceremony was later in the day in October and so it would have been dark afterwards. We were so happy they were able to accommodate our requests! Something we really liked was that the conservatory is very beautiful and the hotel provides some of the flower decorations, so we did not need much else for the ceremony decorations. The food was also great - many of our guests complimented it afterwards! Overall we were so happy we chose The Madison Hotel and would highly recommend it!

We chose the MAdison after looking at a couple of venues, but the conservatory space sold us- it is absolutely beautiful. Our wedding was on October 16th, 2022, and the day went great! The complimentary suite for us was amazing on the night of our wedding, and the staff was very attentive. Everyone loved the food and the venue. I will say that the room rates outside of the room block are expensive, so if yo have family coming in from out od town who need to stay more than just one night, be advised it can get expensive.

We chose The Madison Hotel after falling in love with the Conservatory, knowing that we wanted to have our ceremony there. Our day went off without a hitch - Charles was our Maitre D’ and he helped the day flow SEAMLESSLY, and continually checked in with me and my coordinator (Joy of the Wedding Plan & Co.) to make changes as needed. He not only knew every detail of our wedding, but anticipated things headed off problems before they happened. As one example of how he went about and beyond, when it was time for the cake-cutting, he escorted my husband and I to the cake, remembered to grab my husband’s tux jacket from his chair and carried it for him, and patiently guided us on how exactly to hold the knife and where to look so that we’d get the best possible photos. He made sure we always had food and our glasses were never empty. Also, the FOOD, omg. I am extremely picky and generally have low expectations for wedding food, but ALL of the food was absolutely delicious. Cocktail hour was extensive, and we also purchased some extra late night snacks that were served at 10 pm (chicken fingers, grilled cheese, fries). I was NOTHING but impressed about how the day flowed, the professionalism of the staff, how delicious everything was and how beautiful it all was. I got SO many compliments from my guests saying how much they loved the Hotel and how gorgeous they thought it was (not even including the decor we added!).
I severely underestimated how amazing it was that we had a hotel and restaurant/bar onsite. This wasn’t something that was at all critical to me when we were originally looking for a venue, but now that it’s over, I’m SO glad it worked out that we had a “one stop shop” venue. It really makes a big difference for the guest experience. Our guests were able to seamlessly flow from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception, to “after party” at the bar, to their hotel rooms for bed — without losing the momentum or energy of the night. Knowing this now, I would have definitely made this aspect a higher priority when venue shopping.
I originally wanted nothing to do with traditional ballrooms (literally wouldn’t even look at them), but I’m SO glad we went with the ballroom at the Madison for the reception. I learned that there is an under-appreciated reason why ballrooms are so popular and work so well for any kind of event: the acoustics. Again, live music was extremely important to us, and we would do anything to make sure that our band had the tools they needed to sound amazing. Acoustics are much trickier in any room with windows - so just be aware (a lot of the venues I looked at had windows in their reception spaces). I also think the room is legitimately beautiful - it’s neutral and not gaudy or overdone.
Overall, our wedding was absolutely stunningly beautiful and we received excellent service on our wedding day. It was my dream day and I'm super grateful to the Madison for making it happen.

Truly the best ever! It is hard to put into words how much I love this place!! I had my Ceremony in the breathtaking Conservatory and the Reception in the beautiful Ballroom. Everything from start to finish was flawless. The staff there is incredible. They worked so hard all day to make sure everything went to plan. The Wedding day ran so smoothly. We had a lot of guests staying at the hotel as well and everyone was very pleased.

Everything was perfect! Tim was wonderful to work with through the process, and our maitre'd went above and beyond for us the day of the wedding. The food was amazing, every single space is gorgeous, and there's really something to be said about having everything in one location - getting ready, ceremony, cocktail, reception, after party, hotel, even breakfast the next day. So convenient! Highly recommended.

The Madison Hotel knocked us (and our guests) off our feet! From the beginning we were very adamant on having accommodations on site. The Madison Hotel was the first place we looked at, and we only looked at 2, and I knew as soon as I saw it, it was the place for our big day. Tim was so great and incredibly helpful during the whole planning process leading up to the big day. Charles was our maitre'd and kept the day moving along seamlessly and made sure everything was taken care of the way we planned. He was so helpful during the whole reception and even after. Our guests had a stress-free weekend knowing they didn't have to worry about leaving the venue for anything and loved the atmosphere. It was everything we wanted and more and we can't wait to go back! thank you!!

The Madison Hotel is a beautiful venue, with an old time feel and charm. We had our ceremony and reception in the conservatory, and it was perfect. The Conservatory is so beautiful that you don’t need much décor. It is breathtaking and felt like a dream. The hotel itself is exquisite and has a unique charm that we loved. The hotel and staff were flexible and easy to work with. Amy was the manager we worked with and she was very friendly and answered all of the questions I had throughout the planning process. It was easy to drop off things and stage for the event. Our whole weekend when smoothly – and it was extremely nice having everything including overnight accommodations all in one place! Our guests loved the venue, hotel, atmosphere, and the food. There is plenty of space to get ready, and a number of places to take pictures at. We had a conference room right down the hall from the Conservatory for hair and makeup (the lighting in this room is much better than in the hotel rooms, so I highly recommend doing hair and makeup there). We had the room all day and night, so could leave our things in there until the end of the wedding, which was so convenient.
Carolina was our Maitr’D the day of, and she was awesome. She checked in on us, made sure everything ran on time, coordinated the day of with our DJ and officiant, brought us food during cocktail hour, and was a please to work with. She made sure everything was set up how we wanted, and even cleaned up and packed everything for us at the end of the wedding. Everything was brought to our hotel room for us, and she even took care of bringing my personal things (e.g. dress bag, flowers, miscellaneous items) up to our room from the getting ready space. We didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Our wedding was on a Sunday and we were the only wedding that day – so we almost had the hotel to ourselves, which was fantastic. We were there on Saturday, and noticed that it can be crowded if there are multiple weddings.
We absolutely loved the Madison Hotel, and if we had to do our wedding over again, would choose the Madison Hotel again without hesitation.

When we got engaged we only bothered looking into one venue, the Conservatory at the Madison Hotel. The flowers hanging from the ceiling, the hotel grounds (which were covered in Tulips), the amazing chandeliers along with the astonishingly gorgeous glass conservatory made our wedding like something out of a dream. I would pick that room again in a heart beat!
We worked with Tim for a large majority of the planning process and he was great! Carolina was our Mater D and she checked in on us frequently and helped coordinate all the key moments with the staff on the day of.
The convenience of having guests stay in the hotel overnight was an added bonus since we didn’t need to coordinate with any shuttle service. Our first look was in the Train Cars and I can’t wait to get our pictures back from the photographer! Between the pictures of the tulips and the beautiful grounds and the actual events inside conservatory, I’m not sure I’ll have enough wall space for all my gorgeous pictures!

The Madison Hotel made our dreams come true. Our ceremony and reception was held in the conservatory, it was absolutely stunning all evening. Our maitre’d Charles was incredible to work with and took care of us throughout the whole night. After our wedding, so many of our guests said how much they loved the cocktail hour and reception food. The Madison hotel provides getting ready rooms and there are so many incredible photo spots throughout the property. Having been to many wedding venues before and after getting married, the Madison Hotel experience ranks at the top among all of them. Highly recommend choosing the Madison for your wedding day. - Jackie & Rayan

The Madison Hotel is absolutely stunning. We just had our wedding in the Conservatory and we received so many compliments on how different it was from a typical ballroom wedding. All of our guests had the best compliment about the food, they said there was SO much food and it was all delicious. I am so happy we chose the Madison. Our photos are gorgeous, we enjoyed our time, and we were well taken care of. Thank you Tim for helping us arrange our perfect day!

Our wedding reception at the Madison Hotel was spectacular! The conservatory is stunning, especially during the holidays. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our maitre d, Carolina, was the best! She and her team ensured that the space was decorated to our liking and took care of every single detail, including helping with the bustle on my wedding gown! We could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

This space and food were amazing. Our pictures will be beautiful. The staff however, were not helpful and miscommunicated important aspects of the day many times. We also did not receive many of the hor d'oeuvres that were promised, including the scallops we were looking forward to. None of our guests did. They made us clean up immediately after the wedding, even though that was not the agreement when we signed the contract and we did not receive the bottle of champagne in our hotel room as promised. The maitre d also allowed guests into the ceremony room while we were still taking bridal party photos and didn't provide any type of communication. Our lovely photographers had to manage crowd control, so everyone didn't see the bride's dress prior to the ceremony. The party before us left mud in the ceremony room and it took us multiple attempts to get someone to vacuum.

This venue is absolutely STUNNING and was super easy to work with while postponing from 2020 to 2021. Tim (catering manager) is super responsive as well as the rest of the hotel team. The food is DELICIOUS!!!!! I haven’t heard one bad thing from ANYONE in our families… and everyone tells it like it is. Everyone loved that the hotel was right upstairs! The only reason a star is deducted is because of their Maitre D, Carolina. If you get her, hire a day of coordinator ASAP. She was absolutely horrendous. She is not a new employee and magically has had good reviews.
To start, she had a bad attitude. She treated my husband and I and our families like we were a burden. Both my husband and I are music teachers…. My husband has had this idea of singing me down the aisle with a group of his friends for 3 years. He had it choreographed to the tee and written out clear as day of when and who should be walking down the aisle. We met with Carolina the day before just in case she had any questions, and she yes’ed us to death. On our wedding day, I didn’’t see Carolina until 30 minutes to the start of our ceremony and she said she had everything under control and ready to go and she would come get me 5 minutes prior. She tells my husband that she needs 2 minutes to go and grab me…. He plays a 2 minute song on the piano…. There’s no cue from any kind from the staff so he starts the procession song as he was told because it was 2 minutes. The procession should have started at the first lyric…. SHE DIDN’T GET MY BRIDESMAIDS AND I UNTIL HE WAS HALF WAY DONE WITH THE SONG!!!! I hear it and I was SCREAMING to open the doors and the procession needs to start NOW! Carolina proceeds to tell me to calm down, and that there’s plenty of time…. Thank the lord everyone performing was a professional musician and they improvised after the song was finished to get everyone down the aisle… including me. My husband and I did not get the moment we have been planning for YEARS because of her incompetence or her lack of caring. After pictures, I only saw her once the whole entire night! She helped my mom with the last loop on my bustle and that was the last time I saw her until the end of the night. At the end of the night, Carolina packed all of the decor and our top tier of the cake and put it in the honeymoon suit. There are other things that she either didn’t do or didn’t handle properly throughout the night, but those are the main things.
One small thing that Tim forgot was to print the 2nd page of the event sheet that had our last hour snacks (grilled cheese and chicken tenders). The chef didn’t know and neither did Carolina. I didn’t realise they didn’t come out until 10 minutes prior to the end. No big deal… It was a waste of money. Nobody was hungry! Everyone stuffed their faces throughout the night! The Madison did the right thing and refunded the money.
Despite Carolina’s complete incompetence, we had a perfect day, everyone had an absolute BLAST and I am FINALLY married to my best friend!!!!!

I don’t have enough great things to say about The Madison Hotel. Once we got to see The Madison Hotel in person, I knew it was definitely going to be our wedding venue, and we didn’t even take the time to look anywhere else. From the start, we worked with Charles, and he ended up being the maître d for our wedding too. We are so lucky we got to work with Charles because he is truly incredible at his job! He answered all of our questions along the way, always made us feel at ease, and went above and beyond the day of our wedding. He made sure everything went according to plan, and was always present and visible throughout the day. Our experience at The Madison Hotel would not have been complete without Charles. Not only were the staff and service at The Madison Hotel fantastic, the food was also delicious! Everyone kept saying how much they enjoyed their food and drinks during the cocktail hour and reception. We chose to have our ceremony and reception within The Conservatory, and that was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. The room was absolutely gorgeous from day to night, and made for the absolutely best wedding photos! It also made things so easy for us, and our guests, having one venue for getting ready, wedding photos, the ceremony and reception, and hotel accommodations. I would highly recommend The Madison Hotel to anyone who needs a venue for their wedding or special event!

We absolutely LOVED working with The Madison Hotel for our wedding. We were married in the conservatory and had the reception in the ballroom. It was FLAWLESS and amazing. Tim, the catering director was so helpful and always available to answer any and all of our questions throughout the entire process. Our guests are STILL talking about how gorgeous the venue was and how great the food was. Seriously made all of our wedding day dreams come true!

Where to even begin?! The Madison Hotel was a perfect reception venue for our wedding in September 2021! The catering team had two weddings going on, the hotel was full and they have two restaurants to manage, in yet the team made us feel like we were the only people that mattered!! Working with Tim leading up to the event was so easy, he had answers within a day or so to all my questions throughout the planning process! They were super flexible with my requests (like bringing in late night Chick-fil-A for my guests!). Service is everything for these types of events and the Madison Hotel's service is OUTSTANDING! From the front desk to the catering team to the maitre d for the night, Carolina, to the team serving guests to the bartenders at the event and in the restaurants - they recognize the importance of providing the highest quality experience from start to finish. Even with everything going on at the hotel, everything came out perfectly on time as we had outlined and discussed leading up to the day including the main course; there was no dragging it out as I've seen at other venues from time to time. I did not have one question or concern going into the reception that day - I had full confidence that it was going to go off smoothly because their experience and expertise was obvious. Carolina was so great to work with. As soon as I got there, she told me everything I needed to know and what to expect. She continuously followed up with my husband and I to see if we needed anything from another drink to putting our cards/decor away in our suite. I was able to relax and enjoy the day I had been planning for over a year knowing that they were on top of every detail. In addition, the rooms were all updated, the front of the hotel made for beautiful pictures, the bars were open until to 2am with some of the kindest bartenders who wanted to make sure we had the best time to the very end and the lobby is a really great spot to sit and recap the day the next morning while enjoying the coffee/breakfast. We spent so much time reminiscing with friends and family there as we finished up. It is a one-stop spot for people who want a great party - this was important to us, we wanted a hotel with lively dining/beverage options so we can keep the party going and everyone could just crash! It worked out as well as I could have imagined. The people working there genuinely want to make sure it is the best day of your life - they were flexible with guests (ex: we had some order a bottle to go and sit outside until very late night!) and flexible with our event (ex: we went over 11pm slightly so the band could give us "one more song"). The one thing to note is that they limit the hotel block to a small number of rooms. We had a lot of people coming in from out of town so you may need another block. Fortunately, we were able to eventually get almost everyone who wanted to be there in a room. Nevertheless, I could not recommend the Madison Hotel more!!! THANK YOU!!

Cannot say enough good things about The Madison Hotel and their staff. They exceeded our expectations in every way, and we feel so fortunate that we were able to have our daughter's wedding there. The Madison Hotel was a wonderful place to get married at! Even though we needed to reschedule multiple times due to the pandemic, the venue was very professional and easy to work with on each occasion.
The catering department is full of knowledgeable workers who want you to have one of the best days of your life at your wedding. What stood out at this venue versus others that we saw was all the different unique features. We were married in the full glass conservatory which felt like a dream and couldn't have looked better on a summer day. Then on top of that, we were able to have our reception in the grand ballroom, which felt like something out of a Disney fairytale. The overall space was grand and elegant at the same time.
Outside of just the nice visuals and atmosphere, all guests were very pleased with the quality of the food and service. On our day Joe Z, the maitre d was constantly checking in with us making sure everything was up to our standards. At the end of the night, he was even nice enough to pack up many of our items and bring them up to our suite personally. If you want quality, a beautiful atmosphere, and great service, this is the place for you.

Kevin and I simply cannot say enough about how wonderful The Madison Hotel is. From the beginning of our journey, The Madison Hotel and its entire staff have been accommodating and understanding of the circumstances due to COVID-19. We were forced to postpone our wedding two times due to the pandemic, and each time The Madison was willing to work with us to find a new date. Tim walked through each challenging moment with us, and could not have been more supportive and helpful, always willing to answer the many questions we had leading up to our wedding day. On our wedding day, we had Joe as our Maitre'D and we also cannot say enough about how fantastic he was. Joe made sure everything ran absolutely perfect and constantly checked in with Kevin and I to make sure we had food and drinks, and assure that everything was okay from our perspective. Our wedding day was the greatest day of our lives, and we owe it to the incredible staff at The Madison Hotel.
We also had our room block & rehearsal dinner booked through The Madison (Rod's wine room for the rehearsal dinner), and it was nothing short of incredible. As always, the food was delicious and the staff was fantastic. We had the most beautiful wedding weekend, and we owe many thanks and our appreciation to The Madison Hotel and the entire staff!!

Patricia Simmons is all you need to know about this venue. She made the whole occasion perfect. From personalizing the food card to finding us a grand balloon arch, we couldn’t have pulled it off without her. She helped us decorate, play games, and just enjoy everything instead of spring off others were having a good time. She even made us a plate and reminded us to eat! (Which we would have forgotten to do otherwise!) Best of all was that she let us bring in 2 vegan catered dishes since there were dietary restrictions that the caterers could not meet!

Even during COVID-19, the team at the Madison put on such a beautiful winter wedding for us. The food was amazing and we had a gorgeous wedding cake. The conservatory was a beautiful room to get married and have our reception in. The flowers and chandeliers in there make it really glowy and romantic. This venue is a really amazing value compared to the prices of other venues!
My mom has to eat gluten free and our day of coordinator made sure to tell her which things she could eat, which was very nice! He also checked in plenty with me and my spouse to make sure we were getting food/drinks/ anything else we needed while guests were coming over and congratulating us. We had such a wonderful experience and a great wedding!

Thank you for this wedding experience. Me and my husband could go on and on telling you how much the guests obsessed over the venue, the food, and how safe the day went.
It obviously meant the world to us that people came to celebrate with us during this pandemic, so the day to go as it went put us so much at ease. It was a heck of a party! I would casually ask people if they had eaten and was constantly told how amazing the food was throughout the night.
Charles was superb. I feel so lucky to have had that kind of attention and service on my special day. I emailed him as well to let him know just how fantastic he was to us, our families, and guests.
Thank you for helping to navigate what most times felt impossible. I have heard horror stories from friends and colleagues about how venues had treated their clients during this pandemic. Clearly this was not the case and I will forever be grateful.
It is evident why folks rave about this venue on just about every platform. I will do the same, but wanted to personally thank you because I am still just so moved. I wish you many successful wedding seasons and a safe and happy holiday!

Saturday 19 June 2021 is available to book!
Hello! My Husband and I eloped this summer and we have made the decision that we'd rather put more money towards buying a house than continue planning our big dream wedding. It was a tough decision but we're happy with it! If you're newly engaged or know someone looking for an incredible venue that has an available Saturday in June tell them to contact Tim at The Madison Hotel and tell them Elizabeth sent you! Don't hesitate to DM with any questions!
While we ended up not actually getting married at The Madison the overall experience was wonderful and I have no regrets about originally choosing it as our venue! Tim and the whole team are fantastic and really care!

The rooms were lovely, our guests were comfortable, the food was incredible. It had all the perks of a venue that does a lot of weddings but none of the "wedding factory" feel. The hotel was charming and cozy, the conservatory is magical. Our wedding day was perfect. I cannot recommend this venue enough.

If you're looking for class, elegance and a perfect day, look no further than the Madison Hotel!
My husband and I got married in the Conservatory there and it exceeded all expectations.
The Catering Staff and Maitre 'ds' exuded professionalism from our first appointment until the last sip of champagne; Tim MacHale was very thorough in the planning process and Charles Dietz executed the day of down to every last detail. Every member on staff was always available to answer questions and made sure we actually had time to enjoy our reception. The food was phenomenal and every guest left with a full and satisfied belly! The response time was very quick and gave me, a Type A bride, such peace of mind throughout our engagement.
The list of vendors provided by the hotel was also spot on, and we used one from every category. It made our event mesh together so well.
This venue, the scenery, the staff, the food, the beverages were flawless!

We absolutely loved our wedding at the Madison Hotel Conservatory. Tim helped us out every step of the way on the planning journey. He was attentive, helpful and very easy to get a hold of whenever we had questions. The cocktail hour space (outside the ballroom) was grand and elegant - the food was amazing - highly recommend the dumpling station!
Our wedding reception was in the conservatory and the space really made our winter wedding come to life. We had 130 people which we thought was the perfect amount for the space without it being too overcrowded. Joe was our Maitre-d the day off and he was wonderful and calm. He was always asking if we needed anything during dinner and helped my wedding planner keep everything smooth throughout the night. The cake was beautiful and delicious.
We had one hiccup the night before the wedding - they were going to do some construction with the water pipes in the morning while we were getting ready on the wedding day. After expressing our strong discontent - they moved the timing of it so it didn't interfere with anything.
Another note is that there is a sound limitation in the conservatory due to neighbors that made us a little nervous however the sound system that the Madison has in the conservatory was completely fine and we didn't feel as though we were missing any volume during our dance party!
This place is organized and you really feel as though they have everything handled to make sure your big day goes off without an issue. I would recommend it to a friend!

Moreover, what we got for our money was incredible. Our guests have not stopped raving about how good the food was and how beautiful the rooms were. In hindsight, choosing the Madison was the best move we could have possibly made, and it was worth every penny. Cannot recommend highly enough -- the people there will take care of you every step of the way. A+, 10/10, however you want to phrase it -- this venue is the best.

My daughter's wedding was hosted by The Madison Hotel last month.
It was an awesome celebration.
Since that day, our guests have been raving about our top-notch Maitre d’, Tim McHale and his entire catering staff, the gorgeous venue, the outstanding food and drink, and the all-around excellent service. They really did a fantastic job! The wedding party and our families especially appreciated how friendly, patient, and professional they all were throughout the entire day.
A bunch of our guests told us that it was, by far, the best wedding they've EVER attended.
Should my other daughter or my son decide to get married and if they want their weddings to be in this same area, I’ll certainly contact Tim to host them at The Madison.
I highly recommend The Madison Hotel. You can't beat the service and high-class ambiance of their Conservatory Room, or the convenience of having a single site for your entire wedding: The Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner (at their award-winning Rod's Steak & Seafood Grille), the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception, with an extraordinary selection of hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and desserts (all prepared fresh on the premises) and a full bar with top-shelf beverages, plus classy, clean and comfortable hotel rooms (at a discounted rate) for friends and family arriving from out-of-town.
Five Stars for The Madison Hotel!

We are so happy we chose The Madison Hotel for our wedding. We got married in October and had our cocktail hour in the conservatory and reception in the ballroom. Tim worked with us every step of the way and right after meeting with him, we knew we could trust him and the hotel to host a beautiful wedding. There are benefits to having your wedding at a venue that is “all-inclusive” and has held weddings for over 30 years, and it showed. The day of our wedding ran smoothly with no issues at all. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Joe was our maitre’d we can’t say enough nice things about him. He checked in on us often and made sure everyone was taken care of. He packed up everything for us after the wedding and sent it up to our suite. All of our guests raved about the food - from cocktail hour, to dinner, and dessert. There was another wedding the same night and honestly I didn’t even know it at the time - a guest told me the next day she saw the other bride in the hotel bathroom during my wedding and even she didn’t realize there was another wedding going on! The whole hotel is beautiful, the rooms were nice, and everyone had a great time at Rod’s bar after the wedding. You won’t regret booking The Madison Hotel for your wedding. They know what they’re doing!!!

I had the most fantastic wedding ceremony and reception at this venue!! From the starting of the process, keeping in contact with the staff, picking the foods and then having the most amazing maitre’d, Carolina, whom kept my night smooth and enjoyable! I was able to have a free complimentary room the night of and it felt like a dream come true the way it was set up! I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day than I had! Highly recommend this venue !

Absolutely amazing! My husband and I got married at The Madison Hotel on 9/1/19. We were able to have everything at The Madison- from the rehearsal dinner the night before to breakfast the day after the wedding. We had our ceremony in the Conservatory and our reception in the Glynallyn Ballroom. Carolina was our maitre'd and she was incredible. We were able to continue the celebrations at Rod's bar! Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was. We couldn't be happier with our decision to have all parts of our wedding at The Madison.
