There is more to this venue then its beautiful scenery and quint décor. The woman who owns and operates Apple Blossom Plantation is the true gem. From the moment my husband and I met her it was clear that she had a passion for what she does and that she was on our side the whole time. Our budget was honored with respects to our wishes. Additionally, she made coordinating with the vendors easy. One of my favorite moments was overhearing my Mother say, “This has been one of the most stress free weddings I have been to.” This was possible because Peggy, the coordinator, was invested in my husband and I and our vision for the wedding from day 1. From these newlyweds, supported by their family and friends, we would like to invite other couples seeking a venue to turn to Peggy at Apple Blossom Plantation. She is well equipped to make your day as special and as unforgettable as ours.

My husband and I enjoyed the entire wedding planning process with Peggy. She gives each of her brides the time they need to feel comfortable about the wedding day. I emailed her weekly for about 6 months.Ha-ha. She always responded and gave numerous resources to help us save money. My husband and I paid for the wedding ourselves and Peggy gave us options for DIY money savers and ways to keep us within our budget. We stayed at the plantation for the entire weekend with our wedding party. The weekend was like a huge party with our friends and family. Friday was the rehearsal dinner and after party. Saturday brunch and primping for the wedding. Above all, Peggy acted as a wedding coordinator for the wedding and reception. Peggy even cooks the guest breakfast in the morning after the wedding. She made us feel welcome and like family at the Plantation. Even after the wedding, she keeps in touch with you when needed. The plantation is beautiful and can be low cost or high society with all of the options they offer. Apple Blossom is now one of our family memories that we will always cherish. This venue and its fabulous owner, Peggy, completely MADE our wedding! Apple Blossom manages to encompass a little bit of everything: contemporary outside ceremony with the romance of the fountain trickling behind you as you say your vows; vintage feel with the plantation house complete with "old-timey" décor, wood-burning fireplaces and grand staircase; "party-friendly" reception tent connected to the house, located beside an in-ground pool and bountiful fields for lawn games and mingling guests. We didn't have an official wedding coordinator, but Peggy went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly. This included contacting my vendors to make sure they arrived on time (three of them had three different times!!), cueing the wedding party went to ascend down the aisle during the ceremony, directing guests to the bar, bathrooms, wherever they needed to go, cleaning up after a couple of friends who drank too much, etc. etc. I would have been SO much more stressed and worried about details without her reassurance and complete control over everything. We had MANY guests, (including my husband's grandparents who have ben around for quite some time) tell us that it was the most FUN wedding they had ever attended. Everyone complimented the serene location (a lovely drive as the leaves were changing in October through the small town of Providence Forge), lovely accommodations (plenty of space to mingle with other guests or relax inside to get away from the loud music, for instance), and overall ambiance of Apple Blossom! I am SO happy that I discovered this venue at a bridal show and that Peggy runs everything. My wedding day was truly perfect and I owe it all to them!

My husband and I were married at Apple Blossom Plantation on Sept. 1. After visiting the site for the first time, my fiance said "Honey, that's the one." And he was right! From the moment we met Peggy, we were addicted to her energy and love for her job. She is attentive, creative and supportive. (After the wedding my grandparents said they wanted to adopt her.) As you approach the B&B down the driveway, it is breathtaking. The inside is beautifully decorated and feels warm and inviting. This site is functional for both large and small weddings. I got ready in the large bridal suite. Our ceremony was in the front of the home near the fountain. What I loved most about the bridal suite, is that I could peak out the window and see my guests arrive. I could see my husband waiting for me at the end of the aisle. The ceremony was beautiful and went off without a hitch. The coctail hour was held inside the B&B. My favorite part of the inside of the B&B, is the shelves next to where they put the bar. Because our wedding was smaller, my husband and I decided to frame pictures of us with all our guests. The shelves accomidated all the pictures, which looked classy and personal and photographed beautifully. The rain started just as our reception kicked off, but that was ok- because Apple Blossom's tent in the backyard is attached to the home, so no one got wet walking out to the reception. Peggy worked closely with our vendors to make sure everything was done right, and on time. Apple Blossom did the catering for the event and all the food was hot, flavorful and delicious. After the reception had died down, my husband and I made our way to the bridal suite and found that Peggy had been hard at work, leaving us a special surprise in our room. We also felt relieved because our family members, such as my grandparents who are in their late 70s, stayed in one of the rooms at Apple Blossom. It was a relief that they did not have to drive home in the dark! The next morning, Peggy was there bright and early to make us a divine breakfast. Those were the best cheese eggs I have EVER tasted! I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share just how perfect our day was. It all started when we chose Apple Blossome Plantation, and it's the best wedding decision we made. (Other than getting engagaed, of course). Peggy is one of the family now, and we plan to keep in touch for years to come. Well done Peggy and crew :) Thanks for the memories!

I cannot emphasize enough how wonderfully everything went my wedding day/weekend, and I owe a big part of that to Peggy Snead and her Apple Blossom Plantation. The place was beautiful for a late October wedding, and Peggy went above and beyond the call of duty. There were about 130 people at my wedding and the plantation was the perfect fit. Most of the other vendors were recommended by Peggy and they were all fantastic; things went that much more smoothly because the photographer, DJ, and cake lady were all familiar with the venue and setup. I highly recommend the plantation, and also Ms. Peggy Snead as your event planner!

This place was an absolute disgusting mess. I was there for a wedding over the summer. The owner Peggy got drunk with her boyfriend instead of do her job. The Apple Blossom Plantation is also known as the Bermuda Triangle because conveniently some things disappear. This place is beyond gross. There was trash left in the kitchen from at least the weekend before if not the month. Which did not help the fly population. The pool has not been shocked or cleaned in years it looked like. She claims she has a "staff" but I think it is just her multiple personalities coming out. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone.

Untrustworthy, sneaky, and all around full of it Owner. Do NOT trust anything she tells you!!!!! Read the contract VERY VERY good! Problems from start to finish with her, including booking two weddings in one day, which meant 1 had to be rescheduled, and guess who's????? The place is beautiful at first glance....but at a closer look, it's DIRTY and falling apart. For the money go somewhere else, anywhere else. If you want your day to be special and drama free....DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!!!

The owner of Apple Blossom goes above and beyond for the Bride. She will do every detail for you and make sure everything is perfect. A lot is included for the price of renting the place and it is a beautiful location.

I chose Apple Blossom Plantation after seeing it for the first time. The owner is wonderfully sweet and wants everything to go just as the bride plans. She can even suggest local vendors used before that are familiar with the plantation. The location itself is wonderful for a classic wedding, you get the southern feel of the home but with contemporary ammenities, like a large catering kitchen and 5 working bathrooms. The house also has a 30x60 tent attached to the back of the house which worked perfectly for our wedding. All of our guests were impressed by the cozy feel of home along with the classic country plantation vibe.
