The Majestic Hotel

I hesitate to let the best kept secret out of the bag....but this PLACE!!! I had my dream wedding here. Bob and Phil took care of everything. I stayed in the Penthouse the night before my wedding with my best friend. We had a wonderful, relaxing night. The next day all of my family and friends came, we had rented out all the rooms. We got married on the fishing pier. Then the cocktail and dinner and dancing at the Inn. The food was, and EVERYONE commented so, AMAZING. Every single morsel was delicious. I never imagined we could do this on the budget we had, and frankly, this is my second marriage and I am not into "excess" but this was everything. Simply the best. THANK YOU BOB!!!!

I had my wedding here last month and stayed for four nights in the Penthouse. I cannot say enough great things about this venue... I stayed in the Penthouse the night before with my girls, and then stayed an extra three nights with my new husband for a mini-moon. The room was GORGEOUS. It was perfect for getting ready the day-of; very spacious and clean. It was also perfect for our mini-moon. Big, comfy bed, couches, TVs, jacuzzi tub, big shower... I never wanted to leave! My wedding was honestly PERFECT! Bob, the manager, took care of all the little details, put me at ease, and made sure that everything went as planned, from start to finish. He even remembered details that completely slipped my mind! He was helpful, available, and accommodating, to me and all of my family members. I had my ceremony on the beach, and the hotel is just a short, one minute walk away; perfect location! The food was DELICIOUS (people are still talking about it). The decor was beautiful and allowed for many unique, vintage photos (exactly what I wanted!). The hotel staff also made my cake, and it was beautiful!! They even managed to find the perfect shade of brown sugar to mimmic sand for my cake topper, as requested :). Also, this venue is VERY affordable! It was the perfect venue for my small, intimate wedding. By the end of our stay, Bob and the rest of the Majestic staff felt like family, and I cannot wait to go back! I would highly recommend this hotel as a venue for anyone looking for an intimate, unique, and elegant wedding.

We love the Majestic! We chose it as the venue for our rehearsal dinner, for our wedding guests to stay here for the weekend, for our day after the wedding brunch and where we stayed for our mini-moon and it was an excellent choice. Lots of our guests commented on how much they loved Ocean Grove and The Majestic. It is a gorgeous, charming B&B a block from the beach. The rooms are very elegant and the place is really charming. Jim, the manager, and Valerie, the owner, were really accommodating and easy to work with and helped us to create a personalized menu for our rehearsal dinner and brunch. We had about 55 guests and did a cocktail hour beforehand in the lobby and front porch which everyone loved. The pricing is very reasonable, and my husband's parents were thrilled with how much we got for the money they gave us to spend on the event. I gave Valerie decorations for the rehearsal dinner and brunch and she put them out and the place looked great. The staff was very helpful and everyone had a great time. The place is a BYOB which really made it very economical for us for our rehearsal dinner and Valerie and her staff went above and beyond for us. We ran out of red wine within the first hour (everyone told us people would drink more beer!) and Valerie's husband ran out and bought more for us so we didn't have to leave to take care of it. I messed up the time of the brunch the day after our wedding and called Valerie the morning of the brunch at 8 am to tell her the time needed to be moved to 11 am instead of 12 pm and she called everyone into work early and had everything ready on time. Amazing! And we spent 3 nights after our wedding in room #8 for our mini-moon and it was so wonderful. Valerie brought us breakfast to our room everyday and we ate it on our own little balcony. We loved the room and the jacuzzi was great. The Majestic also blocked off the entire hotel for our wedding weekend up until one month before so our guests would have the first shot at making a reservation for our wedding and gave our guests a discount. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a rehearsal dinner/day after brunch venue or any other similar event as well as just a nice vacation.
