We attended an event here. A serious problem arose, and there was no one on site to address the matter.
This place is a rare gem. The grounds are beautiful and there are so many settings to choose from for all aspects of your event. Lana was our coordinator and direct contact with the venue. I cannot recommend her enough! They have a HUGE closet full of decor that is up for use for your wedding, but there ended up being some more up-charges or extra costs with using some of their supplies than I had originally anticipated. We saved a lot of money by using their decor, but keep in mind that not all decor “needs” they offer are included in the package bought for the day of. All that to say, I would recommend this place and Lana all over again to anybody getting married!
July 2019 Wedding.
I was an out of town bride who selected this venue with their all inclusive decor package to avoid dealing with more vendors. One of my requests early on was that I'd be needing a stage, I was assured this would be no problem (Dec 2018), in April 2019 I was informed that I'd have to arrange for it myself- so I had to get another decorator just for the stage and backdrop.
If I had to do it over, I wouldn't have gone with this venue- being a service provider myself, I always felt like I was an afterthought by the event staff. I ran into communication issues right after signing the paperwork- when emails/texts would go unanswered for weeks. I got all kinds of excuses from "bad service in the countryside" to "how busy they are with other weddings". I ultimately asked to get out of the contract after which it got slightly better.
I think in all I had 3 meetings with the staff prior to the wedding, the day off went well. The coordinator did a great job of keeping everything on track.
I used an independent florist and had a unique type of flower I had used. During breakdown the agreement was that all floral arrangements were going to be delivered to a nursing home, however a week after the wedding, the Manor decoratorused the floral during a vendor showcase event without permission/ crediting the florist.
After I brought this to the Manor attention, they represented that the florals were difficult to transport so they took out these particular flowers and "preserved" them.
Although the wedding day turned out alright, I'd warn brides esp out of towners to steer clear - the level of professionalism at this venue is lacking.
Y’all. The Manor is the real deal. I had the pleasure of working within both Tammie and Lana over a 14 month period, and can say most confidently that their work ethic and ability to direct are what sets them a part from any other venue in the area.
Tammie herself is the owner, event designer, and florist if you so choose. Throughout the wedding process, I easily spent 10+ hours working with Tammie on everything from the place settings to the arbor to the placement of our signage. She knew exactly how her venue would be best presented, and worked tirelessly to make sure I could see it too. While Tammie’s asthetic eye is flawless, it is her attention to detail that sets her apart from the rest. If you put your wedding vision in Tammie’s hands, it will come to life in a way that is more intricate and vivid than you could ever imagine.
Lana was my wedding coordinator, and man did she absolutely nail it!! Lana made sure that every detail outside of Tammie’s design realm was taken care of. By the day of my wedding, Lana had been in contact with every vendor multiple times and corrected mistakes that neither my husband or I were ever aware of. She handled both of our families and friends with enough kindness to keep them happy and enough stirness to ensure we stayed on track. She was reassuring in times of crisis, confrontational on my behalf when I had a vendor drop last minute, and validating when I needed word of encouragement.
I had my wedding at The Manor in April 2018 and it was so perfect! Working with Lana and Tammie was a dream. From all of the meetings leading up to the big day to the full day we spent there, it was so perfect. Tammie's design work is great and really helped my indecisiveness. They made everything run so smoothly on my wedding day, even though my caterers were a mess, and completely took the stress away. Everything was so beautiful and they definitely went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect. I'm so happy I chose to have my wedding with them and highly recommend the Manor to everyone!
I absolutely love the manor they did everything in there power to make sure my wedding day was everything I wanted and more!! Tammie and her staff are amazing!!
The Manor was the perfect wedding venue for my husband and I. We had our wedding on 12/23/2017 and Tammie made sure that everything was perfect. The Manor offers way more than a typical venue and the total value they provide can't be beat. I received so many compliments on the decor, every detail of the reception and ceremony, and many people said it looked just like me and they could see my style in everything. This was incredible to hear because really it was all thanks to Tammie. After sharing tons of pictures with her and meeting with her, I felt Tammie knew exactly the style, vibe, feel, etc. I was looking for. She provided great guidance and feedback whenever I had a thought or suggestion. I look back and wouldn't change a thing! She made everything so simple and it was nice to work with someone so knowledgeable.
I recently got married at the Manor at Coffee Creek and had a great experience! It was so fun meeting with Tammie to go through the decor and plan the details of the wedding. Tammie and Jodie work hard to answer your questions and make your day unique and memorable. I have heard nothing but wonderful things from guests at the wedding and am so happy with my decision to have our wedding there.
Couldn't have asked for a better day!!
I loved this venue and our wedding was beautiful, but I was very disappointed in the service provided on weekend of the wedding. I was brought to tears by how I was treated at the rehearsal and the owner treated my husband's and my own family and our guests terribly. In hindsight, regardless of how nice the venue is, nobody, especially the bride and groom on their wedding day, deserves to be treated the way the staff treated people and I would have had our wedding elsewhere if I would have known. It added unnecessary stress and put a damper on the best day of our lives and no bride should have to deal with that, so please beware!
It was beautiful don't get me wrong. All of our guests commented on how gorgeous the venue was.
On a personal level - every meeting I had was rushed - the first meeting I waited an hour and a half while another bride was waited on. The second time another bride's wedding planner had shown up unannounced to view the space and I sat there with my MOH for almost 2 hours before we finally decided to just leave. (I'd made appointments.) I feel like paying in full a year in advance was a bad idea. Kind of felt like because they already had our money, we didn't get the same treatment. There was a wedding the night before mine so the day of mine you could tell things were more thrown together and last minute. (I'm sure of this as I was there the Friday before my Sunday wedding for rehearsal when they were setting up for the Saturday wedding.) A lot of empty space, "special" things we'd talked about didn't get done, things just looked unfinished and not done as discussed. As my fiancé was about to walk down the aisle he was told the security guard hadn't shown up. Same for me - as I was about to walk down the aisle I was told the security guard hadn't shown up and there was a possibility we could be "shut down." As I was walking out for our exit I overheard the owner talking about how "these cupcakes need to be gone".... Things that should have just been handled and not put on us to worry about as we're about to physically walk down the aisle and get married.
Assistant wasn't the nicest, not rude just kind of.... dismissive and snotty? Didn't feel comfortable. Didn't feel welcome. Just an overall feeling of defeat and felt a little blindsided after it was all said and done. For the amount of money it cost and the nickel and diming that came at the end - it's not what we expected.
I have never written a bad review in my life, I care too much to please everyone - but here I genuinely felt like it was just about money. Get the money, get them in, get them out and be done. I get it, they have weddings there every weekend, mine was no more special than anyone else's but a bride shouldn't sense that from the attitudes of the owners and their employees. As a place that holds such an important event at such a hefty price, I didn't expect to feel so screwed over at the end.
Our wedding on August 14th 2016 at the Manor was INCREDIBLE. Tammie and Jaime are fantastic planners/decorators/coordinators. We somewhat last minute planned our wedding in OK with only about 5months of prep time, and Tammie put me totally at ease about that very short timeline! Everything I imagined, all my ideas for decor and setup (and was probably not able to describe very clearly) completely came to life on our wedding day. Tammie goes above and beyond, throwing in little extras and special touches. Through all of our meetings and conversations I feel like Tammie really got to know me as far as my likes & dislikes and my style, and surprised me with this amazing decor set up on my wedding day that I was completely in love with. I was blown away.
Everything you need is at the venue. Multiple location options for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Many different table options- round, oval, square, rectangle, pub height. Two different chair options. Tons of linen options. AND my favorite room- the DECOR ROOM which is like walking into hobby lobby but WAY better. Everything for you to use is included. There's a gorgeous area for the bridal party to get ready in with mini fridge and bar- which came in handy for mimosas! And the grooms area to get ready in- my husband loved the pool, patio with grill, and awesome room with TV and pool table.
Our ceremony was outside under the gorgeous arbor with pews for guest seating. Huge tree with lights by the guest seating is gorgeous. Our cocktail hour was inside the manor, and the reception was in the grand reception hall, which is gorgeous with high ceilings, amazing chandeliers, and reclaimed wood accent wall. Our guests were blown away by how pretty the venue is.
The day of, tammie and jaime totally put my mind at ease. I had nothing to stress about as far as decor, setup, gathering guests or directing everyone around to where they had to be and when. Everything was taken care of and it was the greatest experience!!! We are so thankful for everyone at the Manor! It was a great decision to have our wedding there!
