he beginning phases of wedding planning all the way til clean up at the end of our wedding. There is plenty of space for guests and we loved how there were separate rooms for cocktail hour and the reception. The food was delicious. My personal favorite app was the potato skins! We truly had the best wedding at the manor house and would 1000% recommend it to anyone looking to have their wedding here!

nd old Philadelphia charm. The gardens and pond surrounding the venue are perfect for pictures. The veranda and huge sunroom were perfect for cocktail hour in the summer heat. The food was seriously the best, along with our reception area with the exposed stone accent wall. However, our favorite part about Commonwealth was the people, especially our wedding planner Suzanne. She went above and beyond at making the wedding process fun and seamless. She gave amazing recommendations for vendors, and genuinely cared. This venue feels much more personal than a lot of the other wedding venues we looked at. You have the beautiful property to yourselves at a very reasonable cost.

al party suites. The outdoor spaces have so many colorful plants and gorgeous landscaping. It was really hot for our wedding day (97 degrees in July) but the ceremony space was mostly shaded by 5:30 when our ceremony started which was great. The whole day ran so smoothly and the food was delicious! We picked the Courtyard Marriott Willow Grove as the hotel for our guests which is 10 mins away and shares a parking lot with a bar for the after party which was worked out really well!

e venue itself is beautiful and accommodating to a high guest count. Our guests raved about the food and drinks. Although it was the people that made it even better! Suzanne and Brigid were absolutely amazing. Through the planning process to making sure we had everything we needed day of, they went out of their way to make it so special. I cannot recommend The Manor House at Commonwealth enough! I am dying to go to a wedding there as a guest!!

wedding. We didn't like the traditional itinerary and she was open to our feedback/changes. Planning was easy and payment options were flexible which we REALLY appreciated. The day-of staff were friendly and the overall ambiance and flow of the night was great. Negative: Our concerns surround the day of the wedding. The table layout was incorrect. Our friends had to change a few table settings to match our seating chart. Our cake was thrown away. We weren't aware that we needed to inform the staff that we wanted to keep all of the uneaten cake. We also were told that the golf course would be closed during the wedding and it was not. Based on guests feedback, the valet wasn't available when guests started to arrive, some guests weren't offered wine following the ceremony, and they ran out of our signature drink.

, I felt really good about having our wedding at the Manor House. Some of my favorite things aside from the beautiful spot: - Having a wonderful coordinator who was always cool, calm and collected (something a nervous bride like myself desperately needed haha) - Food was awesome -- and bonus: they made sure my partner and I were fed, even during cocktail hour while we were having our pictures taken. - Champagne in the bridal suite - You have 3 options for the ceremony location - two outside and one inside (which is nice so you can adjust your day of plans to account for the weather) - The price is inclusive of so much including food, open bar, linens, etc.

other venue, Suzanne had already sent us an email with info. We booked Manor House almost right away after that. The communication was incredible and fast! During covid times, that was so important to us. Throughout the entire planning process, Suzanne and her team were so amazingly helpful. Every single detail was handled perfectly. We got married back in November 2021, and we are still hearing about how perfectly everything went. The staff at the Manor House really have this all down to a science. I was so nervous I would forget something, and Suzanne would email me and let me know what she needed next. It was so helpful. I sent an annoying amount of emails the week before the wedding, and even with the constant emails, she responded almost right away. I would 100% recommend the Manor House at Commonwealth for any event, especially a wedding! I know I will be trying to book my next event there :)

The day of the wedding was PERFECT and everything went off without a hitch. The details and ambiance were exactly what we were going for. We received so many compliments on the food and the staff. The package makes your budget go a long way, the service was great and the food was PHENOMENAL! This was very important to me and we got so many compliments! I worked with Suzanne and she was exceptional! Accommodating, responsive, knowledgeable! The venue is also recently renovated and everything is clean and fresh! A great place to bring in your style! Highly recommend!

o the pandemic. Throughout that uncertain time, Suzanne worked with us to make adjustments and changes. She was so helpful, very organized, and took the time to answer our (many) questions. I really loved getting to walk through the space and visit the open houses to get ideas and find vendors. The food was amazing and got rave reviews by our guests - even the individual desserts were plated beautifully! We loved having a covered outdoor space for the summer and having the additional outdoor bar for our guests. All of their spaces were clean and updated while keeping the same aesthetic that we loved at our visit. Jason & Kelly helped us on the day of, and the staff we encountered during the day were friendly and helpful! Thanks to Suzanne & the Manor House for helping us hae the perfect day!

Suzanne was always up to date with what the state required and even would recommend additional precautions that might help guests feel even better about attending an event during covid. The attention to detail of the whole team was top notch from the decorations and on. The food was great and seemed to be even better than the tasting! Suzanne went above and beyond when coordinating with vendors. I could not ask for a better team to help make my day the best ever! I would definitely recommend this venue to other brides. Well our rescheduled wedding in July was BEYOND our pre-pandemic hopes and dreams, even with the pandemic and Tropical Storm Fay to deal with. Ryan was amazing, responsive, and so supportive throughout the whole planning process, and then the replanning process. Our original date was in April, about a month after the entire state shut down. Ryan quickly found us an alternative date, and we were actually the first wedding the Manor House hosted after PA moved to the Green Phase. The safety precautions they put in place helped to ease our minds, and with a reduced guest list, we proceeded with our special day. The venue is gorgeous, the food is spectacular, in quantity and quality – all of our guests raved about it. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to make us comfortable and do anything they could for us. Kelly was hands on, and our decorations looked better than I had even imagined put up throughout the venue. We had warned John the bartender at an Open House the venue had hosted that our families would be a handful, and even with that he came back to bartend at the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. If there was something that he didn’t have at the rehearsal, he made sure to have it on the wedding day, and remembered who it was for. We had a tropical storm to contend with on our day, and with a few tweaks we were still able to have the ceremony outside on the covered veranda. With the rain we couldn’t do too many pictures outside, but the veranda and the interior of the venue are beautiful and I know our pictures will still turn out amazing. We could not have picked a better venue and team to work with, and we are so appreciative of everything!!

Every one of our guests talked about how amazing and beautiful the site is, both with their own in house decorations and the personal touches they let us add. Suzanne was a master at coordinating all the details leading up to the day and making sure it was what we envisioned. Kelly and Mara were on site the day of our wedding to make sure everything went smoothly, and we felt so taken care of down to all the tiniest details by them. The rest of the staff was equally attentive. The food was absolutely amazing, and they were beyond accommodating to all our guests with food allergies. One thing that was such a big hit was the french fry station, our guests couldn't get enough and talked about how it was such a unique idea. I can't wait until our next family event there just to get to go back!

so loved the mix of indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to mingle. The veranda, sunken garden, and reception room all offered equally beautiful options for the ceremony, regardless of the weather. The veranda, while still being open, allows for beautiful views of the garden and outdoors and provides sufficient shelter from the rain (it poured during our ceremony, and we were very grateful for the sheltered, intimate setting). The food was also immensely popular and far exceeded our expectations. Guests were so impressed with the cocktail hour (particularly the quantity and variety of food) that they thought it was the dinner itself. The menu is also quite extensive and allows for a lot of customization, and the chef is willing to work with you to incorporate non-traditional menu options. The Manor House also builds late night snacks--fry bars and dessert bars, etc.--into the cost of the wedding, ensuring that guests don't go home hungry. Drinks were also tasty and plentiful! Ryan, the coordinator we worked with, was fantastic! He's very organized and thorough while still being exceptionally down-to-earth, which was very calming in the weeks leading up to our wedding and on the day itself. Ryan is also very flexible and will work with you to customize various aspects of your day (such as setting up lawn games or other personalized decor). The rest of the staff at the Manor House were all also great to work with. Staff really made the experience at the venue stress-free on the day of. Thanks to the Manor House and its wonderful team, the whole day felt like a fairy-tale.

What they offer between cocktail hour, dinner & dessert was more than enough. Endless options all day and night. The day went by without a flaw, really. use it would be too expensive but I was completely wrong. Not only is the Manor House gorgeous, intimate, charming with great food, it is an extremely affordable venue. My husband and I were beyond happy with the professionalism, friendliness, and flexibility of Ryan, our coordinator. No matter what concern or worry I had, Ryan was there to reassure me it would be handled and it was! Besides the stellar customer service the food is beyond delicious. Our guests are still raving about all the food from cocktail hour to dessert. The drinks are well-made and I had no complaints about bar service. The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous as well. You don't need any decoration--just a few uplights and centerpieces. The room really speaks for itself along with the rest of the Manor House. All in all the Manor House is an outstanding place to host your reception. My husband and I toured MANY reception venues in the area and this beats them all by a mile. Outstanding service, food, atmosphere and best of all you don't feel like just another wedding. If I could have another event at Manor House I would do it in a heartbeat!

After finding that 4 of us at the table did not have seats I went looking for an employee, had a hard time finding anyone that worked there so I went into the kitchen and told Kelly of the issue she said she will figure it out. As the four of us were waiting in the seating area outside the kitchen we started talking to another couple and they were experiencing the same issue at this point 10 mins have passed and we have heard nothing about how and when this was going to be fixed so I peeked into the kitchen to se Kelly doing silverware, so I again go into the kitchen to remind her of the issue an inform her we are missing the beginning of the reception. A woman named Christine comes to us with a seating chart and says she is now working on it. At this point we all have been standing in the front room for 30-35 min. Finally Christine says she has tables for us, leads us to a table and says these are your seats, in which when I went to sit a woman (another wedding guest) says these are our seat. Mind you we missed the intro of the bridal party and the bride and groom. Now I’m walking around searching for Christine to inform her that the table she led us to was full. When I do catch up to her and update her on the issue I also tell her that I am going to be contacting Matrix at the moment a gentleman stand a foot from me says “I’m Matrix” and introduces himself as David Heiser. I asked to speak to him in the hall where it was quieter. When entering the hall I said I’m sure you know what the problem is and what’s going on by now and his response was “I’m just getting caught up now” I was completely surprised that for 45 minutes we have been dealing with this and the GM is just now “getting caught up” tatal fail in every way. A quick 5 min conversation with him since I know it was just going to be a waste of my time. So now they have found a table for us...for real this time, in the very very back corner farthest from everything (we were in a front and center table directly across from the bride and groom originally because that’s were the bride and groom wanted us) and now we can’t even see them or sit with family and friends.

My in laws even said they would love to do another wedding here for their other children! I would definitely highly recommend this as a venue.

We have received so many compliments on how nice the wait staff were. Guests were also amazed by the amount and quality of the food. They raved about the food!! During the year, the people I developed relationships with either left or went on maturity leave but because everyone knows the details of every wedding there, the movement between coordinators was seamless! There was never a moment I felt like our wedding would be forgotten or some aspect would fall through the cracks. And they never batted an eye when my husband and I dropped off picture frames and photo books last minute as we were arriving an hour before cocktail hour for our formal pictures. They collected them from our arms and put them out beautifully. We took a long time for photos outside and when the cocktail hour was almost done, someone came down and asked which ones we liked. I told her three options and when I came back inside, she had them waiting for me. I wasn’t able to finish them before we were introduced but when we sat down, they were there, waiting for me during the speeches. I was so impressed! I would recommend this place to anyone who would like an easy and smooth planning process. All my guests told me how beautiful the place was and how everything went so smoothly. My mom (who hadn’t even seen the place in person) was blown away with it. Thank you so much for everything!
