ry panicked email and put out all my worries for an entire year. The night of, Mike (maitre’ d) and Shannon (bridal attendant) were absolutely incredible. We can’t say enough good things. Every detail was handled beautifully. I have trouble putting things in other people’s hands, but I am SO glad I gave them my trust. Mike had the venue set up exactly to the image I had in my head. He really helped us, but also our family. We never had to ask twice (or even once) for anything. He was just on top of it. And Shannon did not leave my side all night, either to hold my dress, bring me a drink, or just tell me the time. She also reminded me of pictures I had said that I wanted to get so that I had ZERO regrets. She really was my rock when I needed a supportive voice. Not to mention the beauty of the venue. It was truly the best day of our lives and we have this exceptional staff to thank!

They made our day magical beyond words. My husband and I were in complete awe of how effortlessly they anticipated every need—often before we even realized we needed something. The moment my drink was empty, Mike would appear out of nowhere to offer a refill. When we stepped outside to cool off during the reception, he and Amber appeared moments later with chilled towels. Amber went above and beyond—touching up my makeup, re-curling my hair, bustling my dress perfectly, and checking in on me constantly to make sure I was comfortable and happy. Jennifer was our guiding light throughout the final months of planning. She helped us choose our menu and layout with honesty and care, offering invaluable advice every step of the way. The team brought my vision to life flawlessly. Even with the extra decorations I told them to “do whatever” with, they arranged everything beautifully. Every detail was perfection, and every dollar we spent felt completely worth it. I wholeheartedly recommend The Mansion at Oyster Bay to anyone considering it. The staff, the service, and the experience were all beyond exceptional. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of—and more.

seamless and stress-free. She was so organized, responsive, and helped to make our vision come to life. On the day of, Mike (our maitre d’) went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. He kept the entire evening on track and made us feel completely taken care of so we could just enjoy every moment. Stephanie, our bridal attendant, was the best—always one step ahead, from bustling my dress to making sure we always had a drink in hand and a bite to eat. We had our ceremony on site outside, which was beautiful, and also loved that we were able to host our after-party in a separate room on site as well—it made the night feel so special and kept the celebration going. Truly, everything exceeded our expectations!

ave vendor recommendations & just absolutely ensured the day was perfect. Our wedding was 5/31/25 and we truly don’t have a single complaint. The maitre'd Mike and our bridal attendant made sure the day was perfection. The venue itself is so beautiful & the ballroom more than fit everyone with space so we weren’t on top of each other. Food was excellent (coming from Italians with high standards)! I am so sad the day is over and wish I could re-live it x100. Couldn’t recommend this venue more!!!!

xpectations (on much less of a budget than the weddings we play)! We are so thrilled to have chosen this venue for our wedding because they knocked it out of the park! My family is not from the NY area and they were blown away by the building, the amount and quality of food, the service, etc. My husband’s family IS from the NY area so they expected great things, and the MOB delivered. Emily was so amazing through the entire process, answering my incessant emails and questions quickly and kindly. Mike we got into contact with the week of the wedding and everything ran smoothly. They were patient while we figured out how to make my husband’s vision of a large king’s table for us and our large bridal party happen, and facilitated all of the coordinating. I still had my own month of coordinator, but they take care of so much there, she was able to focus on more minute details because they had everything handled. We did not use any of their recommended vendors. We had a friday wedding to ensure we were the only ones getting married there that day. Bridal and groom’s suite were excellent. Timeline followed to a tee. Could not be happier! And a little hint to future couples: don’t listen to people who say Lessings is bad because they do so many weddings; they are so good at weddings because they do them all the time. Take it from someone who has seen it all, you DO NOT want to go to a place that doesn’t really do weddings. And lastly, so many of the most expensive places we have played are very similar to the mid-tier places we play. Don’t worry if your wedding isn’t at the Pierre, it is upsettingly similar to have it elsewhere.

nt we pulled up to the beautiful grounds and mansion, we fell in love with the venue. Jennifer did a great job of helping us envision our wedding day, and thoroughly explained all of their package deals to help us stay within our budget. Throughout the entire process, Jennifer was so helpful and answered every single question that we had (and we had a lot!). She was always available, right up to the day of the wedding. We were able to meet some vendors during the seasonal showcases that the venue has, and we were able to taste the food and drink at a tasting closer to the date of the wedding. Leading up to the wedding, Mike Langis, the maître-d' reached out and coordinated a drop off meeting with us to drop off all of our decorations and day of items for the wedding. Mike was so incredibly kind and accommodating and made us feel at ease that he would be on the ball the day of. He absolutely was, as well as the rest of the staff at the venue. Mike helped put out all of our decorations in the morning, helped rearrange items from the ceremony to the reception, and was even able to quickly and quietly remedy a situation where we forgot a few boxes of favors, without interrupting any of the festivities of the day. He ran the entire rehearsal with the wedding party for the ceremony that we opted to have on site, and connected our playlists to the venue speakers for cocktail hour and after party. Any requests that we had for coordination of the entire day was fantastically handled by Mike! We also paid to have use of the bridal suite for the entire morning, and Natalie was our bridal attendant. She was excellent, steaming my entire wedding gown, bringing drinks and food to us in the bridal suite, and helped carry my dress, drinks and food during photos. We were told that we had the A-Team between Mike and Natalie, and that couldn't have been more true! So many of our guests told us how exceptional the staff was for food and bar service as well. Everyone was so impressed by the beauty of the venue, the quality of the food and drinks, and the professionalism of the staff. We were so fortunate to have found the Mansion at Oyster Bay, because it honestly had everything that we were looking for on our wedding day. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional staff, has flexible options and packages to help you stay within budget, and is experienced in hosting weddings, this is definitely the place for you! rd or in Nantucket, however, we had to choose a venue within 2 hours of NYC since our Rabbi, Angelai Buchdahl, is so busy and based in Manhattan.. We began looking at venues, typed in “French Mansion” and almost immediately, The Mansion at Oyster Bay came up. From the moment we turned onto the grounds, we were blown away by the beauty and elegance of the lush surroundings and seeing a peak of the mansion in the distance made a dramatic impression on us. We toured the mansion and saw endless possibilities as to how we could utilize the space for our wedding. We gave the date of June 1st to the mansion and started the process. Our coordinator, Emily Virgil, was amazing from the beginning, taking copious notes, following up on questions we asked her and giving us suggestions while not inserting her opinion so we always felt the decision was ours. As a gay, Jewish couple, we felt extremely comfortable working with the mansion as they treated our wedding just like any other wedding they would be overseeing. Since having a kosher wedding was important to us, we felt very comfortable discussing the menu to ensure it followed the kosher standards but was still delicious and memorable for our guests. Emily gave us an extensive list of partners that the mansion worked with. We ended up utilizing Dalsimer Spitz & Peck for our flowers, Rob Martin Photography, Around Town Entertainment, M&V Limo for our transportation & Batter Up Bakery. All of our guests stayed at the Four Points Sheraton in Melville so it was a short ride to get them back and forth for our wedding. We attended a tasting and tried the Mansion’s amazing White Balsamic Vinaigrette and made sure that it was at our wedding as well as switching from the Filet to Short Ribs (both of which were so good – and our guests raved about it). Also, we met our maître d’, Mike, who couldn’t be nicer and gave us so much time. On the day of our wedding, we arrived at 1pm so we could start getting ready along with our bridal party. Our makeup artist, Makeup by Sam Ruh did an amazing job on all the girls and made us look tan and feel amazing and Audrey did a phenomenal job on everyone’s hair. From the moment we arrived, there was food and champagne which kept everyone feeling good. Our groom’s attendant Shannon was so attentive to our needs, always by our side with a drink and asking us if there was anything that we needed. We brought pictures of our families and set them up by the couch and on the tables by the stairs, which added a personal touch. Upon entering the mansion, guests were able to grab a glass of champagne and have passed hors d'oeuvres so they weren’t starving while they waited for the ceremony to start. We took our pictures before everyone came all over the property. After our ceremony, Shannon and Mike brought us into the bridal suite and we tried all of the food from the cocktail hour (which we decided not to attend and just focused on each other). The rest of the night was so seamless, Mike and Shannon constantly checked in on us making sure that we had everything that we needed and were so attentive as they guided us through everything. We honestly had the best day of our lives and were so glad that we chose The Mansion at Oyster Bay to make our dreams come true.

Every one raved about how amazing the food was, starting with the cocktail hour and throughout the night. Our Maitre D, Mike, was also great and made sure the night was perfect and everything we could’ve dreamed of. You’re literally the only show in town, and the attention was on my wife and I the entire night. Highly recommend this amazing venue, and wish we could go back to February 23rd so we can experience it all over again. not get the entire venue to yourself. We had a Saturday night wedding and after signing the contract, it was thrown on us that there would be an event before we got there despite having paid for extra hours. We had to pay $150/hour to arrive at 1 pm since we could only get there at 3 pm. But there was still a bridal shower going on until 2 AND tours of people. I mean we spent at least $60,000 at their venue, and they still have other people there? Leading up to the day, Emily, was okay. She wasn't not accommodating but there were things we really had to push for. I really love aperol spritz but they said they only had Campari. We had to call the general manager to get it done. Additionally, the charger plates are SO scratched. I had to ask for different ones and it was not easy to get done. Additionally, I requested for our 2 signature cocktails to be served before the ceremony (in the contract). Emily later called that a "typo" and I called her out on it. In the end, some guests said they did get drinks but not everyone saw it apparently. Also, I highly highly suggest getting a day of coordinator. Yes, the maitre'd was lovely, but the day of coordinator we had, Maeve from Flutes and Finesse, saved the entire day. She run the tightest ship. It was honestly incredible. Now for the good parts! We unfortunately had a rainy day and all the pictures were inside but still beautiful. The place really allows for bad weather to not ruin the day. The whole place is so warm and chic. The WORST thing about the whole day, was the size of the aisle. During the "rehearsal" we asked the aisle to be made bigger. It was not and my parents stepped on my dress the whole way down the aisle. It was stinky. However, the whole ceremony was lovely and felt intimate with over 200 people. The inside ceremony space was not as ideal as outside but it was nice! The cocktail hour space can be on the small side so we had the patio open and a bar outside. It was great. The cocktail space didn't even end up being too small. All the stations were loved by our guests. The reception space was awesome. Some of the guests did say our tables ended up being squishy so be careful how many you put at each table but that was my fault. We got extra bar tenders and no one was ever waiting online. The reception food was good not great but overall people liked it! The upstairs space is awesome for the after party. We had a cigar bar and people smoked outside on the balcony and it was a hit. Overall, I would still get married here. I had an incredibly day but be assertive. They will hide things from you and you need to be forthcoming and ask so there are no surprises.

w this was the ONLY place we should get married. The whole venue is beautiful and grand - could easily fit a 300 person wedding, and yet a 100 person wedding didn’t feel too empty at all. We also loved that we could have “full run” of the estate, which meant that the children attending our wedding had quiet time rooms their parents could take them for when the music got too loud or they got too tired. Lastly, the gorgeous drawing room with those deep rich wood walls, fireplace, and classic bar sealed the deal - a perfect space for a cocktail hour and lovely background to wedding photos. The beauty of the venue was one thing, the folks who ran the show were somehow even better. Starting with Jennifer, the sales manager, who was so warm and welcoming and made sure we had all the information needed to plan our wedding - she was excellent, kept detailed notes of what we wanted, and ensured that on the day of the wedding - we could just relax. Mike, the maître d', went over all the notes that Jennifer and we provided and instantly knew what we wanted and how he could help our wedding day go smoothly. The bridal attendant and the rest of the Mansion’s staff were so perceptive and in tune with what we wanted - literally not a thing went wrong - everything was executed perfectly. We fully got to enjoy our day with zero stress. We could not have asked for more. The day after, when we stopped by to pick up some of the items that were left behind/needed to be cleaned up - everything was packed up nice and neatly for us and the space was immaculate. This is a team that knows their business and does a flawless wedding (or any celebration). They are so easy to work with - you would be crazy not to have your event here.

weet!! We had Mike as my maître d’ and he was fantastic! We met Mike at our tasting and I wanted a spicy margarita as one of my signature cocktails, the first one we disliked.. so Mike muddled fresh jalapeños and made sure that it was perfect! Which it was, and my guest raved about that cocktail day of the wedding! Mike definitely has an eye for perfection, and wants your day to be smooth and perfect! My bridal attendant was so so sweet, to be honest I didn’t need her as much because I was on the dance floor the WHOLE NIGHT!! We got married at St. Patricks in Huntington which is only 10 mins away from the venue! We didn’t get ready at the Mansion, we got ready at of our parent’s home. Though after the ceremony we got to the venue two hours before cocktail hour and the bridal suite was perfect for us to relax, eat, and refresh! The food was AMAZING!! The cocktail hour, people were raving about how much food there was, and how it was so delicious! For the entrée’s we did the short rib, teriyaki salmon, and porcini crusted chicken (people are still talking about this chicken and how DELISH it was). We did the after party on the rooftop after the reception… when I say go do the after party .. DO IT!! It kept the fun going plus having it at the venue you will not lose many people! I just had a party playlist and connected to their sonos speaker which was great! The rooftop and bar is so beautiful it makes you feel like you are at a totally new place! The after party food was also the perfect late night munchies! My husband and I still rave about The Mansion and I highly recommend to use for your wedding, shower, any event in your life!

Everything came together so beautifully and perfectly; the charm and elegance of the old mansion were so special and exactly what we wanted in our wedding venue. We really couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous setting for the evening. From the beginning of the planning process through the end of the day, Jennifer (our main point of contact), Mike (our maitre'd) and Estie (our bridal attendant) were all such a pleasure to work with and were so accommodating on anything we asked for or needed.

They made this entire experience beautiful and stress-free. The Mansion itself is stunning. The food is incredible. The staff is kind and efficient. Prior to our wedding day, Emily Virgil was fantastic. She was patient with us and worked with us to create our perfect wedding. And then to see her the day of our wedding was a very meaningful cherry on top. She was genuinely happy for us and together we created the perfect day. Mike, our Maitre D', was perfect. He was cool, calm and collected the entire time. No task was too big or too small. He thought of everything and took care of everything. We would recommend Mike to anybody getting married. EVERYBODY was impressed with Mike. He really enhanced our entire day. And our bridal attendant, Natalie, was equally as amazing and was with us every step of the way, as well! Really above and beyond.
