One of the standout aspects of getting married at Woodside is that you don’t feel like just another wedding. So many Long Island venues felt like a factory to us when we toured venues, with multiple weddings in a single day and a rushed, impersonal feel. At the Woodside Club, you get the exact opposite experience. The entire space is yours, and you truly feel like the day is about you. If that kind of experience matters to you, Woodside is an absolute dream. The ceremony location by the pool was what we initially fell in love with, and it ended up being the most stunning backdrop for our wedding. Even with a little bit of rain, it felt absolutely magical. Standing there, surrounded by our loved ones in such a beautiful and serene setting, was a moment we’ll never forget. Sarah the incredible wedding coordinator is with you every step of the way, and her guidance and kindness made the whole planning process so special. I can’t say enough good things about her. Cassidy, the bridal attendant, was an absolute dream. Having her by my side all day was something I didn’t know I needed but she was invaluable. She was with me every second, making sure I took breaks, ate food, and had a moment to breathe. She managed everything so gracefully and with such a warm and reassuring presence. Cassidy is the kind of person you usually have to pay a lot of money to hire separately, and the fact that she’s included is such a HUGE bonus. She’s truly one of the best parts of my experience at Woodside. The food! The cocktail hour! We were a little nervous going into it since we hadn’t seen a ton of photos of the food in advance, but we shouldn’t have worried, it was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The crab cakes, sushi add-on, pigs in a blanket, and just about everything else were a huge hit. Even our pickiest friends were blown away. And while I only managed to sneak in a quesadilla (which was amazing), we heard from countless guests how incredible the main courses were—especially the rack of lamb! The service throughout the evening was exceptional. Every detail we had discussed in planning was remembered and executed perfectly. Thanks to the incredible job by Sarah, it truly felt like everything ran seamlessly. The bridal suite is also such a beautiful space to get ready in, while so many places limit the amount of time you have the suite for, being able to enjoy it for the whole day made the morning of the wedding feel extra special. We want to extend a big thank you to Sarah and Tom for being so accommodating throughout the planning process. Anytime we had a vision or idea, you worked with us so kindly and flexibly to make it happen. We’ve been flooded with messages since the wedding—friends and family saying it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to. That’s not something we take lightly, especially coming from guests who can be hard to impress. From the food to the setting to the energy of the night, it was truly unforgettable. Sara made everything so easy from the first day we toured the venue until the day after wedding when we picked up everything we left there the night of. was the one. Sarah was a huge reason in choosing the mansion for our big day. She wasn't pushy at all and it didn't feel like she was trying to sell us something. Honestly, her pleasant attitude and the atmosphere of the mansion itself is what sold us. Sarah was very easy to work with all throughout the planning process, even with the abundance of random questions I had for her. Our actual wedding day went very smoothly thanks to the staff and most importantly (for me), the bridal attendant who was so great and helpful the entire day. All of our guests have mentioned how much food there was and how good it was. The grounds are beautiful and made for a great background in all of our photos. It was a wonderful feeling having the mansion to ourselves the entire day and Sarah and the team really made us feel like it was our home for the day. I would highly recommend having your wedding here, you really won't regret anything.
