The first impression is a stunning entry way to an elegant Marie Antoinette style crystal chandelier, grand wrought iron double staircase and a baby grand piano. For the outdoor wedding ceremony, two Tuscan style outdoor patios are available featuring a waterfall and a hand carved European Garden Gazebo with an iron dome for the Marigold Ballroom and a hand carved arbor for the Sandalwood Ballroom; both professionally landscaped with flowers of the season & privacy trees. This venue keeps you well fed, hydrated while on the dance floor, and takes care of your every need. The bridal suite had all the amenities a bridal party may need and more. redible to work with throughout the entire process. We initially worked with Dave, one of the owners, to plan everything, and then with the rest of the team on the day of. Chang, our Maitre D, was very organized and kept our day on time, while overseeing all of the set up and breakdown of each part of the events. And a very special thanks to Ninfa, our bridal attendant, who was by my (bride) side from 5am to midnight and anticipated not only my needs, but also the groom's and our parents' needs even better than we could. She made all the difference.
Our guests all enjoyed the wedding very much, and are still complimenting us on how the day went. We highly recommend having an event at the Marigold – they are experts at what they do and it shows!

He was kind and was wonderful to work with. Ninfa, my bridal attendant.. there are not enough words that I can say about this woman. She was absolutely an angel. She was so incredibly helpful & so incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire day. During our reception, my Husband & I were having the time of our life & when Ninfa approached me for dinner, I told her we were ok and did not want to eat at the moment. Thinking ahead, she went and packed every single food item for us in containers and at the end of the night when we realized we didn't eat all evening, we had food that Ninfa packed. That's just one example of how thoughtful & amazing she was. Throughout the day, she wasn't just helpful to me (although she focused on my needs the most), but she was helping my Mom change in between the wedding & reception, helping her put her legs up in the bridal suite to relax for a few minutes in between events... I mean, just simply AMAZING. I can't recommend the venue & specifically Ninfa enough!

. The grounds are beautiful and I knew it would be perfect for our fall wedding. Lisa was incredible. She was so attentive in answering all my questions, no matter how crazy I thought they were or how many emails I sent. The food package was insane and more that I could've ever imagined that we would have at our wedding. We had everything we ever wanted: amazing cocktail hour, amazing dinner options, and the dessert.. oh the desert! When Lisa mentioned a Donut Wall and Ice Cream Sundae Bar, my wife was sold. There was no way we would choose any other venue. Lisa also recommended a pop up espresso vendor being that the venue does not serve espresso. I was so appreciative because that was something my dad requested (it was a hit!). The food was to die for. Absolutely incredible and exceeded our expectations. People are still talking about how amazing the food was. We also have a few vegetarians in our wedding and Lisa provided so many options for us to choose from. The one we went with was a hit with those family members, which made us very happy. There aren't enough words to express our gratitude for Ninfa (bridal attendant) and Marcella (maître d). They made this day go so smooth. If anything went wrong, we had no idea about it. Everything was handled for us and I couldn't be more appreciative. Ninfa was my right hand the whole day. She went above and beyond with anything and everything that my wife and I needed, from helping me change shoes and bustling my dress to making sure my wife's vest was sitting correctly and tying her shoes. Marcella was the backbone of the whole day. She was attentive to all the needs of that day, making sure I was being taken care of versus me trying to take care of everyone else. She had my back and made sure Ashley and I had everything we needed. Anything we had questions on throughout the night, she was our go to. The staff was so incredibly nice and were the most amazing team I could've asked for in a venue. The bartenders were so positive and full of smiles to us and our guests. My dad requested espresso martinis (with the help of Cupa Cabana) and the bartenders made them absolutely perfect. It was such a nice touch to the end of the evening. I could go on and on about The Marigold and how amazing our wedding was. It was one neither us or our guests will ever forget. Thank you so much to Lisa and the staff of The Marigold for everything. It really was our dream wedding thanks to you all.

They were so flexible that a last minute request to extend the end time by 30 minutes was immediately accommodated. Not only did they do that, they also took it upon themselves to call up the shuttle service to request them to run the shuttle for 30 extra minutes. They had thought of and anticipated anything that we might need such as extra bobby pins, safety pins, and more. They were able to keep our day moving on schedule without making anything feel forced. They were able to direct people (both members of the wedding party and guests) with ease to make sure that everything was flawless. They also made sure that we, the couple, got a chance to sit and eat and just breathe for a minute in the middle of our big day. I can not say enough about how amazing they are! provided for our grand wedding day. Marcela, my Maitre d' was just amazing, She listened and respected all my requests. My assistant Nina I love her. I was very focused on saving memories and boy did they give me just that! I thank them both because they made me feel like a Queen, attended to all my needs and wants. Marcela and her team made sure we enjoyed every moment, cocktail, reception, our sit down dinner was just delicious. OUR guests love all the staff, they were very polite professionals. I felt no stress. I was in good hands. It's a day that goes so fast yet I remember vividly the details of our wedding day. I am so happy we use The Marigold for our venue. We worked with Lisa, a fantastic star; she guided us through the planning process and offered all sorts of options for our event with a great vendor list. We always felt like we were in excellent professional hands. We were given a bridal and a groom suite on the day. Also, we were assigned a venue hostess/manager and a bridal attendant. We cannot tell you how magnificent these ladies were. We want to promote Yasmin and Carolina; they treated us like kings and queens from beginning to end. In addition, we heard from guests that the waitstaff and the captain of the evening's service were phenomenal and attentive to the guests' needs. We did not realize how fast and chaotic the day could be, and to have a team guiding us through the day helped us tremendously. The venue is stunning and Insta-worthy; we couldn't take a bad picture if we tried. Our day was a dream, thanks to The Marigold and their top-class team. ble. She will make you feel taken care of and heard from start to finish and will be honest and open about what they can give you. We did not have a big budget, so they worked with us to give us what we wanted without breaking our bank.
We had our indoor ceremony in the Sandalwood Ballroom, the loveliest space for a smaller wedding (we had 126 guests). On the day, I the most incredible maitre d and second helper that were constantly checking in and making sure we had what we needed (our bridal suite was stacked with mimosas and playing our favorite tunes!) During our complimentary tasting for our menu, we actually came while a wedding was going on downstairs and they brought up the food as it was being made! We had wine, champagne, and beer available, and got to take home a box of mini cake samples. That gave us a solid idea of what to choose and how the food would be, and we were super pleased. The wedding day was seamless, and our guests said it was one of the most fun, beautiful, and well-done weddings they had been to.

ms has an outside feel to it with stone walls and large windows on two sides with views of the lovely outdoor spaces. We fell in love with the beautiful outdoor areas that we were able to utilize for our cocktails and a different area for the ceremony. The bridal / groom suites and large with closets, private bathrooms, and amenities that made our day so comfortable.
The staff are not only SO pleasant and helpful, they worked well together to have a seamless affair. Everyone we encountered made us feel important and special. Our sales liaison, Lisa, was a gem. She was welcoming from our first visit, anticipated our every need, and ensured smooth logistics on the day of.
What a lovely experience - I would highly recommend.

The bridal attendant was so mindful of our daughter’s needs. The staff regularly checked in with us to ensure that the evening was proceeding as planned and to offer their assistance if needed. The maitre d’, Marcella, was the best!!! She took care of so many of the details which allowed us to enjoy the evening. Our new son-in-law summed up the evening best, “Perfect”.

ne. The interior designs/ballrooms feel grand and well done. The outdoor patios are gorgeous. And they always maintain everything so well. We also love how helpful the staff is at The Marigold - they were always handing out waters, tea/coffee, and always made sure I was doing okay on my wedding day. They attended to all the guests and gave out welcome drinks/asked them if they ever needed anything/etc. The venue also includes great lighting features! We worked with Dave Bajaj and I cannot recommend him enough. He is very kind and cares so much about your happiness. He would do anything to make sure that I did not feel stressed, and I am so grateful for him! Their Maitre D (Chang) was also amazing. Chang wanted me to have no stress on the day of the wedding and so anytime something came up, he took care of it right away. We had some issues with flowers, centerpieces, weather, etc, and Chang was always on top of it. We also worked with Jamie who was so patient with all of our questions the two weeks prior to the wedding. She was thorough and made sure everything was followed up with! My husband and I loved The Marigold. We would choose that place over and over again, we love it! So happy we got married there!

From carrying my boxes to helping with dress fitting, she was there every step of the way. Also a shout out to Marigold's co-owner Tony. I bet at no other venue could you find a owner who would hold your dress train for your entry. Tony was so professional, warm and kind hearted. irst tour, and from that moment on, from booking to planning, it was a seamless process and Lisa was incredibly helpful every step of the way. Everyone at The Marigold works to make sure everything was perfect and exactly how you want it, including the Maitre D, bridal assistants, and wait staff. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were absolutely beautiful and we have since received countless compliments and amazing feedback from our guests. The outdoor ceremony spaces are gorgeous and extremely well-kept. The cocktail hour space and ballrooms are modern and extremely elegant. And one of the best parts, the food was to die for! There were so many options to make sure there was something for every single person, I can confidently say no one left hungry. I relive my wedding day over and over again in my head, because it really was the happiest, most perfect day and I have everyone at The Marigold to thank for that.

Marigold management and staff became an extension of our family throughout the wedding planning process, days leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Their advice was very valuable and helped us with executing our plans. They were very prompt and yet flexible with us as needed. Especially during COVID, we were not sure how things would work out. But, they calmed us and assured us that every effort would be made to make it a beautiful event and it did!
The bride, groom, wedding party and all the guests had only positive feedback about the venue and access to various locations for photo shoots.
We are so glad we chose Marigold for my daughter's wedding.

Lisa is amazing she was there from start to finish she made us feel comfortable and made sure everything was perfect. Through this pandemic she took a lot of worries and stress of me. She responds right away and was always available even when she isn’t working to answer any of our questions. I wouldn’t have made it through the day without her. Marcela was hand and foot from the moment I step foot into the building until I left she made sure she was by my side and easy to work with. Staff is wonderful! g coordinator on the evening of the wedding in working with our Emcee to make sure everything went perfectly! All of this was included in the already reasonable rates--in other words, I was able to plan and hold the wedding without hiring an outside planner and coordinator!!
Dave at the Marigold made every step of the process smooth and easy for us. He supported us throughout the planning process and responded to every call and text even on his days off! I couldn't have imagined picking a better venue for my daughter's wedding. I highly recommend The Marigold in Somerset, NJ!
