The Marq is everything I wanted for our spring wedding! I was able to have our ceremony inside and the staff was flexible to make sure my vision became our reality. Everything that was included with our day it was affordable and still classy. I was able to ask all the questions I needed to feel comfortable and received free advice on planning. We had our reception at the Marq on Lineville. Everything was fantastic! Jeff was super helpful, meeting with us twice beforehand to plan everything and happily answered additional questions/changes we emailed to him. On the day of he made sure everything went smoothly so we didn't have to worry. Our guests loved the food and the bar. We did our wedding on a Friday, and the Marq offered some discounts because of that...helpful on the budget! Overall, we are really happy with them!

My husband and I had our reception at The Marq on French Road during September. Throughout the process we switched between a few different coordinators which made me slightly nervous that a few of our requests and details would get lost along the way. However, Roberta did an excellent job going over all of the details that were already discussed with the previous coordinator to ensure that things went smoothly. The Marq allowed us to set up half of our ballroom the night before the wedding (there was a wedding in the other half of the ballroom) which was a huge relief and took a lot of stress off of me going into the big weekend. We ran into a few minor mishaps along the way: a miscommunication between Roberta and I on the head table size (which led to having to repurpose tablecloths) and a miscommunication on the placecard colors (which was resolved very timely) but Roberta made sure that everything was resolved and it ended up turning out great with no one even knowing. Besides, when you have a 300+ person wedding you have to expect a few hiccups along the way. The food was delicious, our signature drinks were loved by all of the guests and the venue is truly beautiful (we loved the big bar, the patios and the brick wall behind the head table). We did have a few small complaints about cold entrees and undercooked bacon on the bacon wrapped scallops that we had for appetizers but again- with that many people you are prone to have a few complainers. Overall our experience with The Marq was wonderful and I would recommend anyone to get married there. A special thank you to Roberta for answering all of my questions (and trust me, there were a lot) and for all of the help coordinating.

We held our reception at the Marq on Lineville. Hannah was excellent to work with, and made sure all the details were accounted for. The hall was beautiful, the food was great and was served in a timely fashion, and guests had plenty to eat. They were really great to work with and had very fair prices!

Our ceremony and reception were held at The Marq at Lineville Road location. We have received rave reviews about our heavy hors d'oeuvres dinner from our family and friends. The prices were competitive, the setting was beautiful and our coordinator, Hanna, was fantastic to work with. We definitely recommend the Marq to anyone looking for a great wedding.

The Marq was an amazing venue for our wedding reception!! Roberta and all of the event staff completely exceeded our expectations! The environment was great, the people were friendly, and the food was excellent! We would highly recommend The Marq to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Green Bay area!

Completely worth every cent; the food was amazing, every guest was happily fed. They worked closely with the venue's coordinator and set up all rentals for me, I had nothing to do when I showed up for decorating. Absolutely fantastic caterers!!! Also completely understanding when my credit cards wouldn't work to pay since it was a large charge technically from a grocery store. Highly recommended.

It was really easy and great to work with Roberta as a catering manager at The Marq. She stayed in contact with me often during our planning to make sure everything was going well and kept us on track. I was told the food was really good, even though we hardly had time to enjoy it because we were so busy during our wedding. Our dinner was warm and tasted delicious. The food was presented well and on schedule.

We packaged together a ceremony and reception with the Marq. They are very friendly and make sure that you are the center of the planning. They walk you through every step of the day to make sure no detail goes unnoticed. It was a bit expensive, but that has to do with the package we chose. We found out it was a better value to go with a package than pay per plate. I strongly recommend giving them a call and working with them!

My experience with The Marq was exceptional. They make sure to do a great job going over all the details of the day with you from setup to tear down, and are mindful of the budget you set.

From the first time walking into the Marq, both of us felt like the Marq was the place we wanted to get married. What we really like about the Marq was that they had a place for both the ceremony and reception. And if it were to rain they would move everything inside for us. They took care of us and we could tell that they had done this many times before, but it didn't feel like we were just another wedding. They made us feel special. Any questions we asked before the wedding was answered timely and it never felt like we were being a bother. If you're looking to get married, check out the Marq you'll love it. Their outdoor ceremony sites are beautiful!! The only issue we had was with getting the cake for the head table cut and served, there must have been a mis-communication because it was never served to us and ended up in the refrigerator. Not a big deal. Get married here!

The marq was easy to work with, but there were a few things that got messed up on the actual wedding day. Not a big deal. The food was good and the staff were friendly

I used The Marq as my caterer. We had to bring in food and beverage and The Marq was very knowledgeable about our venue and their contacts. The staff was very helpful, food was great and our guests complimented us on the food.

We had The Marq caterer our wedding. We had a non traditional dinner, taco and pasta bar. It was so yummy and many guests complimented us on the food.

For our dress rehearsal we wanted to do something fun, relaxed, more "us" and something that related to the outdoors. So we hired The Marq to do a pig roast for us. We opted to have the pig roasted at our location- the smell was amazing.... The entire food spread was unique and absolutely perfect. Everything was just as we had imagined it. The staff who were present were also exceptional. Delish!

Everything was perfect from the service, food, employees! It made my day perfect all around. I will be referring them to all family and friends. And will look forward to using them for my 5 or 10 Anniversary!

The people at the marq truly want to help you make your dream day a success. They worked with me to figure out all of the small details so that I would have nothing to worry about the day of. They went above and beyond helping set up decorations. They even allowed my dad to come the week before to try out all of the sound systems just so we were sure our iPod and DVD would play. The food was also exceptional. I have nothing but the highest praise for them.

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at The Marq and have received nothing but compliments from our guests! From the first meeting, our wedding coordinator was extremely helpful and quick to respond to phone calls and emails. The hall was recently renovated, and it is GORGEOUS, making an awesome backdrop for our pictures! The food was amazing--we had broasted chicken, tenderloin tips, and vegetable lasagna buffet style. I originally considered the Marq because their prices fit our budget, but you would never know we had a smaller budget based on how our reception turned out! I would recommend The Marq to anyone looking for a hall!

The wedding coordinator was anything but helpful. She acted like I was a disturbance anytime I emailed her to plan details of our wedding. She also avoided answering specific questions and at the very end some of the prices went up. My biggest complaint was the fact that They screwed up my dinner! ....They didn't give me the side dish I ordered.

We were very pleased with the Marq but the audio equipment didn't work as expected. Shame on us for not trying it ahead of time, it could have happened anywhere. Overall very pleased with their performance.

We received many compliments from our guests on how beautiful The Marq was. The place itself has great styling. Very warm and welcoming. Plenty of space and I loved the space it provided. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Everyone was served at the same time, even the back tables were eating when the head table was. The manager checked in with myself and my husband to make sure we were happy and to see if we needed anything else.

It was an absolutely beautiful venue. All my guests really enjoyed the food that was there. The Tasting was less than impressive (the spread looked good, but food was subpar) but when it came to them delivering, the food was very good. The steak was prepared perfectly, everyone loved the vegetarian lasagna, however the chicken dish did not receive 100% satisfied review.

Our reception was held at the marq and everything was PERFECT. Jennifer was the coordinator i worked with and she was great. She always answered all my questions in a timely manner and never made me feel like i was bothering her. She had great suggestions. The night of the wedding everything went off without a hitch. The food was amazing. I could not have asked for anything better.

Sadly, we were unable to book our wedding at the Marq due to their enormous likeabiliy by other brides! We were blown away with the customer service, food presentation etc. If you are lucky enough that they have your date, book with them and you wont be disappointed. Jennifer the coordinator is amazing and we would have loved to work with her. We did get our cake by Tanya the Marq's baker, it was very good and we were able to pick many options to serve to our guests.

We didn't book this vendor, but did meet and tour. The outdoor space was pretty. The indoor space was a shared banquet area/bar area with a folded partition and the other weddings music was very loud, ect. Lots of extra charges to use the "nice" chairs, tables, linens, ect

We had our reception and our ceremony at The Marq. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the place is beautiful. There was not a lot of decorating that needed to happen because the inside and out is what I was call simple elegance. The staff was great to work with and was attentive but not overbearing. They really gave us great service and assisted in any way they could. I truly appreciated also that the cost was very reasonable and we did not feel like they had hidden fees that felt like added costs around every corner. We were VERY satisfied with our venue!

My wedding took place on october 21 2011. We had a few communication hiccups in the begining, but if you keep in direct contact with the consultants there,you will have positive results. They were a bit more pricey, but the food was wonderful, and the venue itself is beautiful. They day of, servers and bartenders along with the manager on duty went out of their way to make sure every need was met and tended too. HIGHLY recommend!

Exteemely accommodating! Super friendly! They made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted! My ceremony and reception was there and the change over went over swimmingly. Seriously an amazing price for a place that could easily charge double.

I had an amazing experience for the most part at The Marq, the staff was amazing, the food was good. They were at our event all night and made sure everything went as planned!! I loved it!!

Food was awesome, service rocked, we were very happy with this vendor, they set the ballroom just as we asked it was beautiful. Couldn't have been happier.

I had a dinner/reception of 350. They were so good at making things work out the way we had pictured. As far as pricing, they were a bit cheaper than other halls for June 2011, especially if you have your wedding on a Friday. They also recently underwent a $1.2million renovation. The place is beautiful, and there's ton of space in the back yard for beautiful pictures. There are also patios for guests to go outside for some fresh air throughout the night. I would definitely go with these guys again if I had to do everything over! :)

For the most part we really had a good experience.

It turned out perfect, the only one complaint I had about The Marq was the quality of the cake, the color was wrong, and the frosting was not the requested flavor. Everything else was absolutly perfect and made the cake a frivolous complaint !!

I owe much of the success of my wedding day to having my ceremony and reception at The Marq. It was just BEAUTIFUL!!! All of my guests have been raving about how wonderful the food was. So overall great food, great drinks, beautifully decorated and great people to work with!

The staff did everything in their power to meet our expectations and ideas. Very friendly to work with, very personal, and great price! There are things for budgets of all kinds! This is also newly renovated - GORGEOUS place! I received TONS of compliments on the appearance, food, and service this place offered the guests. I would definitely recommend them to anybody in or near the DePere, WI area!

The Marq as it is now known is a gorgeous place and the food was very good. The lady I dealt with was not the best with customer satisfaction and had forgotten a few things that I had wanted and was going to be charged for. Also they charge for every little thing extra. Overall everything went well though.

Great Job

The food was awesome!! They have remodeled the inside and it looks great. We got married on site and it rained in the morning and was kind of muddy down at the ceremony site, I asked if there was something they could put down for me to stand on and they said yes...when I got down there there was nothing. My dress was pretty much ruined by the end of the ceremony. One other thing that we were not happy with was that we dealt with someone different EVERY time that I called there. I would not get married on site, it is beautiful there though. The food it good. Also heard from guests that the drinks are over priced.
