The Mayfield Sand Ridge Club

Having our wedding at Mayfield Sand Ridge Club was one of the best decisions we could have ever made! Not only is the venue beautiful and unique, the staff is always willing to help and do anything they can to make your day special. Kristen, the event coordinator, is one of the sweetest and easiest people to work with and she will handle every little detail you don't even think of; she is a true asset! I received endless compliments about the venue, the AMAZING food, and the overall wedding itself. If I could do it all over again, I would pick Mayfield Sand Ridge Club in a heartbeat.

We had our wedding reception at Mayfield Sandridge Club and if I could give this place 6 stars I would. The venue is beautiful; guests that attended kept telling me how beautiful it was during and even 2 weeks after the reception (granted were only two weeks out right now). It is not your typical hall style venue and it has so much character you barely need any decorations. Secondly, I cannot say enough good things about Kristen the event coordinator on site. Kristen is concise, sweet, organized, and made event planning easy. She is even present during the reception and I know she is the reason why things went so smoothly that night. She was communicating with the band, bridal party, and any other vendors behind the scenes the chain of events so everything went according to plan. And lastly, the food is delicious. I kept getting compliments about the food and my husband keeps telling me we should go back and eat there with just the two of us.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Mayfield Sand Ridge Club! Everything was picture perfect and went so smoothly. Our ceremony was held in the veranda which was actually our "plan B". Because the weather was on and off rain and chilly outside I was absolutely okay with this and everything ran so smoothly I did not even notice a difference. The staff at mayfield did an outstanding job and I received SO many compliments in regards to how well everything went. I cannot say enough amazing things about Kristen the event coordinator. She was seriously so organized so sweet and went above and beyond to assist with our day of details. I felt like I had my own personal wedding planner thanks to her!! She took care of things that I didn't even think about and made the entire wedding planning process so easy for me. Mayfield is a beautiful venue and I could not have had a better wedding day!!

We had a September wedding ceremony outside at Mayfield Country Club and the scenery is absolutely stunning. We had the dinner inside and the dancing out on the veranda and we could not have asked for a more beautiful place to get married. We all got ready at the club in the new bridal suite which is amazing and super convenient. Every single person working at the club during the rehearsal and the day off was extremely accommodating and pleasant. Kristen (and her assistant Jordan) are the event planners and they ensured the night went so smoothly. They were so professional and had the best attitudes. During the planning process, Kristen was extremely attentive and organized and it took so much stress away from the planning. I offer my highest recommendation to this venue.

For our wedding, we also had out wedding and reception at Mayfield. Kristen is the coordinator there and did a wonderful job. She helped coordinate the rehearsal and managed everything that occurred on our wedding day. The entire day was seamless (the wedding dinner, lunch for bridesmaids, flowers arrangements and table settings). In addition to Kristen, the rest of the staff at Mayfield was accommodating to every guest in attendance. This year they also added a bridal suite, which was beautiful.

For my wedding, I had both my ceremony and reception at the Mayfield Country Club. I had 150 guests. Thanks to the beautiful venue and wonderful staff, my wedding was extraordinary and memorable. The outside of the venue is Tudor style, and offers a variety of locations and backdrops for both beautiful indoor and outdoor photographs. I had my ceremony outside on the first tee. My reception was originally scheduled to be outside, but was moved inside due to inclement weather. The interior of the building provides room for an indoor dinner and reception and I had my cocktail hour and reception in the first floor dining and living rooms. Even with the location change, numerous guests and my wedding photographer commented on the beautiful venue. There is also a large indoor space upstairs for the bridal party to use, and I was able to have hair and makeup done at the club on the day of my wedding. My husband and his groomsmen were also able to get ready at the club in the club locker room. Kristen, the event planner at the club, was a dream to work with -- she was professional, responsive, cooperative, and flexible. From the time I booked the venue, Kristen and the staff were responsive to my numerous emails and questions. Kristen was detailed, organized, and prepared for every meeting and thoughtful with any suggestions she offered. She was prepared and flexible when there were last minute changes to the location of the dinner and reception. On my wedding day, Kristen and her staff were tireless in setting up everything for our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Thanks to Kristen and the staff, everything ran smoothly and on schedule. The chef and kitchen staff also deserve a mention for the preparation and service of the most delicious wedding meal, including the special vegan and child meals. A bride looking for a reasonably priced venue, offering both interior and exterior locations for a ceremony and reception, and a great staff, would be wise to check out Mayfield Country Club!
