The Middleburg Barn at Fox Chase Farm

We had our wedding in November of 2022 and could not have asked for a better venue experience! From an administrative standpoint, Maureen and her staff were prompt in all communications and transparent in all details. They were organized and professional in preparations and very easy to work with. Upon booking the location, we were given a detailed list of preferred vendors, which all turned out to be 10/10 excellent choices; All of the vendors knew each other well, which made for a seamless partnership. From a location standpoint, we fell in love with the venue the second we saw it. The exterior has all the makings for priceless wedding photo’s, and our guests loved the feeling of being in the countryside. Inside, you are immediately in awe of the gorgeous floor to ceiling wooden structure. Warm lights hang from the high beams and give way to an absolutely stunning chandelier. Multicolor accent lights hide in the ceiling and create an enjoyable visual experience(we had the ability to request color changes throughout the night, which was awesome). The open floor plan allowed for some much creativity and the double lofts created sneaky good space for cocktail hour (the loft also made for a priceless group photo. Shout out to Jessi Vaughn Photography for making it happen). We had 170 guests with a band that required a 20x24 ft stage, and we still had plenty of space for activities! The bridal & groom suites were perfect rooms for wardrobe changes, personal storage and privacy among bridal party, and the outdoor patios on both sides gave guests easy access to fresh air throughout the night. Overall, the entire day was incredible and the Middleburg Barn created an experience that we will never forget!

My husband and I got married here on 9/3/22, and we had a fantastic experience! From the moment we toured the venue in August 2021, we fell win love with the landscape outside and the elegance of the barn inside. The owner and staff were all so lovely to work with and quick to respond if we had questions throughout the wedding planning process. When booking the venue, you are provided with a list of preferred vendors which made the selection process of catering/florals/entertainment a lot easier! The bridal party got ready in the Cottage on the property the morning of the wedding. Our ceremony was on the stone patio in the back of the barn which was a beautiful addition to the barn a few years after it was built. The barn is air conditioned which is amazing, and the high ceilings, Swarovski crystal chandeliers, and floor to ceiling wood give the inside of the barn an elegance that is unmatched. We are SO grateful to have been married at the Middleburg Barn- it was truly a dream come true! Thank you!

The Middleburg Barn was a beautiful location for our fall wedding. We loved all of the options for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and backup plans for rain or shine. There was plenty of space for everyone to get ready and take pictures, plus the picturesque farm was a wonderful backdrop for our special day. While this venue is on the pricier side of comparable venues in the area, it did provide a wonderful setting for our perfect day. If it is in your budget, I recommend The Middleburg Barn for your wedding!

We knew that we wanted a barn wedding and The Middleburg Barn was the first venue that we toured. We were so lucky that this was our first stop because the owner, Maureen, actually sat down with us and chatted all things wedding for quite awhile. We were so new to the whole wedding planning process and Maureen walked us through some great tips and tricks. She even recommended other barns in the area for us to check out! We went on to see some other beautiful barns over the next couple of days, but ultimately, we knew that The Middleburg Barn was our place. Not only is it stunning, spacious, full of outdoor beauty/nature, and fully equip with heating/air/pristine bathrooms/etc, but we knew we were in the best of hands with Maureen. It did not feel like she was selling something to us when we met with her and, instead, we felt the most genuine and personable vibes. It was clear from our first meeting with her that she simply wanted us to have a great wedding, whether it was at The Middleburg Barn or not. We certainly made the right choice because our wedding was the best day of our lives! The Middleburg Barn staff were helpful and organized every step of the way and to this day our guests and family are raving about the venue. This venue is BEAUTIFUL. We were so lucky to have found it. We got so many compliments on how perfect it was. Huge dance floor, amazing bridal and groomsmen suites, very nice and clean bathrooms, 2 wonderful ceremony spots, and a TON of great photo opportunities. They also have tables, chairs, and various other furniture to use. We highly recommend this venue.

OUTSTANDING IN ALL WAYS!!! Planning a wedding is STRESSFUL. You want everything to be perfect - one way to relieve a lot of stress is to make sure MIDDLEBURG BARN is your venue! Maureen and Brooke are kind, courteous, professional, organized and so incredibly patient with nervous mother of the brides! The charm and ambiance of the barn made for an elegant dinner and then immediately following dinner the change in lighting created the feel we wanted for the fun and dancing to begin!! Our daughter’s wedding was PERFECT! Thank you Middleburg Barn from the bottom of our hearts for being such an instrumental part in making it so memorable!

This venue is beautiful and ultimately we feel so blessed to have had our wedding here. The pictures were stunning and we got so many compliments on how everyone thought it was easily the most beautiful venue they’ve been to. However I don’t think it was worth the price we paid for it. They worked with us through 3 date changes, but I have to be honest that it was not exactly seamless, because what was during covid. We understand everyone was just trying to do the best they could so I won’t critique that aspect. Ultimately, I thought most of the staff was respectful, professional and got us to what would make my husband and I what we wanted given the circumstances. Now, the things we wish we knew going into it. There was a lot of “covid rules” that were instated after we signed our contract that might have deterred us if we booked again. Ultimately, we were able to work around it but it caused a lot of stress and extra work for my other already overworked vendors. The week of our wedding, we were sent a fairly abrasive email about strict guidelines for our walk through rehearsal the day before our wedding day. We were informed that no extended family was allowed on the property at all and no access to any bathroom facilities due to people apparently having parties in the past during this time. We only could be outside and it was extremely hot. We also communicated with the owner that our plans were to have a rehearsal dinner elsewhere and it really felt like our bridal party was being punished for something other parties have done, such as take advantage of the space and the allotted time. This was a critical time to talk through some of the details of the day of and instead we felt rushed out bc people were hot and needed to use the restroom, etc. It was also a little stressful to manage the week of and it definitely rubbed a number of my immediate family members the wrong way - just wasn’t a great “first impression” I guess you could say. The communication could have been slightly more polite with that one. The day of our wedding a number of tours were taking place. That was totally fine with us and we expected that, however, I felt as if my privacy was completely violated when some of the tours actually came into our bridal suite when we were getting ready. Others where pressing their face against the window to look in. That wasn’t something I was exactly thrilled about or signed up for. Finally, the acoustics inside the barn are terrible. Music you can hear perfectly, but anyone sitting not directly in front of the speakers could not hear any of the speeches or announcements. We were unaware of this until some of the special dances were being announced. This became a big deal because majority of my wedding missed the father-daughter and mother-son dances. That was definitely devastating. Overall, beautiful venue, most of the staff is very professional and easy to work with, we feel blessed to have had our wedding there but I am not sure I would select this venue again based on the price we paid and the end result.

We had our wedding at the Middleburg Barn last week and it was absolutely perfect. The barn is gorgeous; so open, airy and modern. The outdoor grounds are very well kept and beautiful. All our guests loved the venue and the location. We are so happy we found this venue. Highly recommend.

Pros: The barn is stunning – they really thought of everything from the accessible lofts to the chandeliers. We got the most incredible pictures, and the space was big enough that our guests could social distance (our wedding was at the tail end of the pandemic). They even installed a UV air filter last year when the pandemic hit to make it easier for us to keep our guests safe. The grounds around the barn also don’t disappoint – the rolling hills, horse coral, the pond and it’s overlooking dock (perfect for pictures). Another huge plus: the bride and groom’s suites are SO much nicer than the ones at any other venues we looked at – we even came a little early (thanks to Maureen for waiving part of the fee for that) so that the entire bridal party could get ready there. Cons: The staff can pretty hard to work with. They have an amazing number of rules (no propping doors open even when we offered to buy a temporary screen/are in a pandemic, no shots, no open candles, etc.), and when asked for specifics about policies or ideas we had, they would frequently respond with copy-pasted portions of the contract and nothing else. Some of the rules certainly worked in our favor because it meant we only got the best vendors, but many of the restrictions made it a much more stressful day (and year leading up) than it needed to be. Finally, the mother of the bride was actually berated by the owner (Maureen) the morning of the wedding for parking incorrectly. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing given there were no lines or other cars to guide off of at the time, and my mother paid for half of the venue – but unfortunately I wasn’t able to say anything then because I was afraid it would cause issues for the rest of the day.

I cannot say enough good things about this venue! Due to COVID-19 MANY of my wedding plans changed the biggest one of them being my wedding venue. In a panic, I contacted every venue I could in the area and this venue came highly suggested by many of my friends and family! Maureen was EXTREMELY accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. They accommodated many visits along with many back and forth making this venue work with the plans that had already been put in place with my previous venue layout. If you are looking for a venue that will make guests jaws drop, look no further!

Choose the Middleburg Barn for your event! You will not be disappointed! First: our search and how we landed at Middleburg Barn as our wedding venue... We looked at several area wineries and the vibe didn't feel quite right, plus they required mandatory purchase of certain amount of their wine (to be honest Virginia wine isn't all that great) and we wouldn't be allowed to offer other wine. We also looked at Salamander, and it's a beautiful formal ballroom setting but we had in mind some type of beautiful barn. Driving home from Salamander, we passed the Middleburg Barn and as soon as we got home, we Googled it and found it was the perfect setting for the wedding: the one we had been looking for! Working with the personnel was fantastic. Maureen even steps in, if necessary, to make sure all goes smoothly! Also, because the Middleburg Barn is demanding of its vendors, it means the vendors deliver what they are supposed to deliver. The Middleburg Barn personnel were interested, organized and accommodating when it came to planning, tours, rehearsal visit, phone calls and vendor coordination. Paige was great to work with, and very knowledgeable. After we booked our weekend, things only got better: the Barn expanded their setting, finishing a beautiful patio setting and water feature; and offered a choice of arch-type backdrops for us to use. We loved the exquisite bride and groom suites, the spacious and well maintained bathrooms, the overall spotless nature of the facility (everything felt new and well-maintained), and most of all, the beautiful look of the entire place both inside and outside. The Middleburg Barn also worked with us to our benefit when it came to coordinating things. For example, the Barn required us to rent a stage for the band. When we learned the stage company was setting up for a band at the same location the night before, we asked the Barn if the stage could remain set up for our event, and the Barn agreed.... so the stage company gave us a small discount since they didn't have to break down and set back up. It's a little thing, but it meant a lot to us, and there were a lot of little things like this. Maureen and her team acted as our advocates when it came to working with vendors and getting things done. Having not planned a wedding before, there were so many contractual requirements in the Barn contract, and specifics; it's a lot to handle even with a wedding planner. But I assure you that it's all for the benefit of the final product: an exquisite, memorable wedding where no detail falls through the cracks... and one that the bride, groom, family and guests will remember fondly for a lifetime.

The Middleburg Barn is every girls wedding dream come true! The first time my husband and I visited the barn we both instantly knew that was where we wanted to get married. It’s absolutely breathtaking on the inside and out. It’s clean, well-organized, and it’s unique. It’s rustic-elegant ambiance is perfect for any type of wedding theme you’re going for! Maureen & Paige were wonderful to work with - assuring everything was done and ready for our big day. Our big day was absolutely perfect. And I mean it when I say perfect. I could not get over how beautiful the barn looked. The lighting and the chandeliers were just gorgeous. The bridal suite is just amazing. The bathrooms are so clean and well-kept. The event room was magical. And then you step outside and you’re surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, a beautiful patio (where my husband and I got married) with a stone waterfall behind it, and not to mention an awesome pond!You simply cannot go wrong choosing this venue for your wedding! It simply does not disappoint. It exceeded all of our expectations and we have received a countless number of compliments from our guests and vendors on how amazing and beautiful our wedding was! If we could go back and do it all over again a million times at the Middleburg Barn, we would! We highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! The most beautiful barn you will ever step into! I don’t even know where to begin - the owner Maureen, and her team were an absolute dream to work with. They were organized, responsive, accommodating, and totally flexible. They also have a beautiful cottage on site which was the perfect spot to get ready with all of my bridesmaids without having to worry before the wedding. We will NEVER forget the best day of our lives at the most perfect venue! 20/10 recommend!

I never do reviews, but I needed to jump on here and everywhere to say that I've had the best experience with the Staff at The Middleburg Barn. Wow. Things have been so stressful with this virus and planning my daughter's wedding and the staff at The Middleburg Barn has been wonderful in helping us with all of our million questions. They moved our wedding to next year with no issues at all. They were calm, they kept us calm. They were kind and so incredibly helpful. They didn't charge us anything extra, they put up with us and the stresses we've had. Honestly, we've been a basket case with my daughter's wedding and what to do with all of the guests. I can't wait to host our daughter's wedding here next year. They are amazing people. Oh, and the property is to die for. 100% recommendation from us!

I attended an event at the Middleburg barn and it was just the most amazing experience. First, the staff was so friendly and kind. It was kind of like the Disney World of venues! It was so clean and every time something dropped, the staff was there to pick it up. The bathrooms were amazing too. The landscaping and the barn were just so beautiful. I'll be recommending this venue to my friends who want a great venue in the middle of stunning country in Loudoun county. I can't wait to come back! It was like a dream. Wonderful!

The Middleburg Barn was a dream come true! Maureen and her team were amazing! They treated me and my fiance with such respect and kindness and no questions that we asked was too much for them. They really treated us with such kindness and really cared. We are soooooo happy that we chose this venue. There are so many venues to chose from and this was just incredible. From the views and the most amazing barn and chandeliers and lighting, it was so great. We had our wedding in the winter and it was even better in the winter, but I'm bias. My guests are still talking about it. If there was 10 stars, we'd post 10 stars! We highly recommend this amazing venue.

This venue is stunningly beautiful, however my experience with the employees was, in my opinion, distinctly sub par. I felt a complete lack of professionalism, rudeness, and at the end of the day I felt deceived. We were told several things including prices and requirements that we found to be untrue when we got the contract. We called the venue and were told that some of these were "new" changes that had ostensibly beeen implemented in the week between our tour and us going to contract. We were assured we would be grandfathered in and these sudden changes would not be applied to us. We emailed them about those items and a few other concerns we had about the contract, maintaining that we did want to continue to work with them and were very excited to use them. Despite this, they not only declined to address one of concerns but it seems as though they were dismissing our concerns simply saying that we were just upset. They proceeded to walked back on everything they said over the phone. Additionally they revoked the contract offer so we could not move forward with them. All this for simply asking questions about the discrepancies between what we were told and what was in the contract. They appear to not have really read what we wrote to them in the email. The only clause they addressed with a sentence or two they addressed by quoting my question to an completely different clause. I felt as though the rest of their email was dripping with disrespect and passive aggression. They went as far as to suggesting that we look at hotels since we are so 'upset.' We were not in the slightest bit upset with them going in, but considering how disrespectful they were because we asked some questions, we certainly are now There was one clause that I was questioning. I don't believe I saw this in other vendor contracts I read. This is an exact quote: "Indemnification and Hold Harmless. Client is responsible for and agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Equestrian Events and Fox Chase Farm, LLC from and against all claims, actions, or causes of action, and all liabilities and losses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, and costs, arising from or relating to the licensing and/or the use of the Equestrian Events Event Venue under this Agreement, including but not limited to any claims by any person or entity relating to any act or omission by Client, Client's guests, invitees, vendors, suppliers or contractors at the Event Venue by reason of Client's event. This provision will survive the termination of this Agreement." For those not well versed in contract language and law: 'Indemnify' means compensate. From this definition it seems to me that this contract is getting people to agree to literally pay their lawyer fees, court fees, and all other possible costs and fees if, for example, one of their own preferred or required vendors hurts themselves on the property and sues them. In that case you will be on the hook for EVERYTHING. This is an absurd thing to ask people to sign and when we inquired about it they refused to address our question at all. We are currently going with a manor not far from them who has been nothing but helpful and respectful and is just as beautiful. And the final cost is nearly identical. My final thought is simple, I am glad I didn’t let the beauty of this place deceive me. This venue failed to meet any of my humble notions of professionalism and courtesy while and I would not recommend them for any reason in the future

This venue made my wedding dreams come true. Between the lights that strung above and lit up the dance floor, to the beautiful outdoors that made the pictures AMAZING I would recommend this venue to anyone. The Middleburg barn team worked great with my planner and food vendor to make my day absolutely perfect.

The entire Middleburg Barn team is amazing! We worked with Maureen and Paige who helped make our day perfect. It's a beautiful venue, very different from many, which we received so many genuine compliments for. The Middleburg team was always quick to answer questions and made everything very clear. We loved it!

Just got married here this past weekend and had the most wonderful day. Maureen and Paige were a joy to work with and went out of their way to make sure our day was as special as possible. They have thought of everything at this venue, and would highly recommend having your wedding here.

Mike and I had a DREAM wedding at the middleburg barn. It was a fantastic venue; Maureen and her team were very well organized. They were there for us to answer all our questions, flexible with our requests, gave us a great walk through the month prior to the wedding which made us feel more secure/comfortable with the few weeks leading up to the wedding. The wedding went off without a hitch and we have beautiful sunset pictures to remember it by. We left one of our signs at the venue and Maureen held it for us for an extended period of time so we could grab it when we got back from our honeymoon. I highly recommend this venue, everyone had a great time and we continue to receive texts/emails/comments on how gorgeous our venue was!

We had our wedding at Fox Chase Farm in May and it was absolutely perfect. The venue is gorgeous and the barn is beautiful and was the perfect size for our wedding of about 160. We wanted a rustic elegant feel and the venue hit that perfectly. The lighting system and chandeliers really elevate the space and added something special to our reception. Working with Maureen was wonderful. She was so helpful and we could feel how much she wanted our wedding to be amazing. We had an issue with our coordinator the day of and Maureen and her team really stepped up to pick up the slack and helped make the day seamless for us. My husband and I highly recommend the Middleburg Barn!

The staff at the Middleburg Barn at Fox Chase Farm are terrific. Our initial meetings with the staff were productive and answered all of our questions. The day of the event, the team ensured we knew where everything was, finalized a few small details, and introduced us to the staff who would be on call during our event. The setting is beautiful, and our guests commented throughout the evening on how lovely everything was.

I was in the process of trying to book my wedding day at Middleburg Barn, and I had a HORRIBLE experience. They were disorganized [I tried to set up a phone call, and they set up a tour visit], had poor communication [took weeks to answer my emails], and they were oddly elusive about how much it was to book their venue [refused to send me a proposal]. On top of all of that, they treated me with disrespect by not even using punctuation in emails to me, and never giving me an explanation to why they cancelled my tour 2 days before I was going to visit [come to find out they booked my FLEXIBLE date, and decided FOR ME that I shouldn't come visit still]. And when I expressed my dissatisfaction, they blamed it on the fact of how desirable of a venue they are that made them too busy to answer me in a professional way [ew]. I am sharing this so other brides know that they will not get the service they deserve when booking with this organization. Hope to save you from the tears they caused me.

This venue is beautiful, you can program the lighting. Tables and chairs are included! There is a bridal and groom suite, and the cottage is included for one night too! We had a beautiful wedding, in a beautiful space.

Fox Chase Farm was the PERFECT place for our wedding and we would totally recommend it for your wedding or other special event! The Middleburg Barn is gorgeous, with beautiful wood, high ceilings, and exposed beams- and super clean, not overly weathered/rustic like some barn venues. Its side rooms were perfect for wedding party preparations/primping and its bathrooms are nice and big. Rental came with all the nice tables and chairs we needed for dinner reception as well as a ton of other beautiful furniture that we used for lounging and display. Its patio was perfect for our cocktail hour. The grounds are well kept, and the arch with pond/fountain behind provided the perfect backdrop for our outdoor ceremony. The on-site cottage is so cute and was perfect for bridal party preparations and accommodations. The venue location has plenty of parking and is easily accessible from a paved road, just a couple minutes from the adorable shops and restaurants of Middleburg. Maureen is super dedicated, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly- wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process to wedding day and follow-up.

Fox Chase Farm Middleburg Barn was the perfect venue for my daughter’s wedding reception. Maureen Hanley, owner/manager was extremely easy to work with; friendly, flexible and funny. What more can one ask for? The Barn was a highly versatile space capable of holding the 200+ invited guests. It had the rustic barn atmosphere that my daughter was looking for yet was elegant with its beautiful crystal chandeliers and breathtaking programmable lighting system making it magical. Guests enjoyed cocktails on the lovely covered patio overlooking acres of green rolling hills with a pond, fountain, and gazebo that made for a spectacular back-drop for photos. A beautiful horse from the equestrian area was walked around the Barn so the newlyweds and guests could interact and have a photo op. The guest house, The Cottage at Fox Chase Farm, was to our disposal for use as a bridal suite, quiet space for elderly and young guests, or for those needing a place to crash.

Where do I begin with my review for the Fox Chase Farm? First things first, Maureen, the Venue Manager was incredible to work with. She had such an amazing vision for this new venue (our wedding reception was at the new Middleburg Barn on property) that completely came to life. The barn is beautiful & fully air conditioned, plus big enough to seat my over 200 person wedding - which is next to impossible to find in this area without resorting to a tented outdoor set-up. Even with that much floor space, the cozy feel of the natural wood inside still managed to make a large wedding feel intimate and personal. We chose to have our cocktail hour outside on the large full-length patio and lawn. Our guests raved about the the lake-side property, and I felt good knowing that the patio had a large roof that could accommodate everyone just in case it rained. Maureen was okay with us putting lawn games out so we kicked off the reception with corn hole and cocktails which was perfect. The venue has PLENTY of parking for guests and the parking lot is strategically placed such that it's steps away from the the patio, but it isn't visible to guests once they're there, and it didn't show up in any of our pictures. The inside space was equally fabulous. Two huge chandeliers, pre-installed lighting, a bridal suite - you name it. We also opted to use Maureen's included round tables and chiavari chairs - which was a huge saving, as we didn't have to rent them from an outside vendor. Even with our head table, 200 guests, dance floor, and photo booth, we still had space for an adorable sitting area using furniture that was ALSO included. Maureen also recommended both our Florist (Rick's Flowers) and Caterer (Smokin' Willy BBQ) - both of which we loved, so she's really in tune with quality wedding vendors in the area. Can't say enough great things about this space and would ABSOLUTELY recommend this venue for your big day!

The venue is absolutely beautiful and we got tons of complements from our guests as to how gorgeous everything was and that it smelled so new. This is your dream barn wedding! It was great working with Maureen since she is such an easygoing person and no fuss. Our vendors did well working at this venue. So far we are the wedding to beat! We had such an amazing day and the staff at Fox Chase Farm was excellent all the way down to the horse Dublin, who did a swell job taking photos with us.

I had my wedding here in July 2017 and it was perfect. I wanted a barn wedding, but I have a big family and needed a place that could fit everyone. Maureen was amazing and expedited the construction of the barn so I could celebrate my special day there. She would send me update photos along the way so I could see how it was coming along. The barn and location are beautiful and Maureen is the nicest person ever.

My husband and I are so glad we decided to use the Fox Chase Farm for our wedding reception venue. It was a great backdrop for photos for us to remember our special day and guests continuously commented how neat the space was (we used the loft and The Colony Room). We were so happy with how the reception went. The food all turned out just like when we had our tastings and our guests raved Maureen gave some great suggestions from her experience during the planning process that I’m very glad we took to make the day run smoothly. The groom and I even had time to eat, which from what I hear is a feat in of itself. We did the homemade ice cream add on and everyone, including us, was very happy to have an ice cream sundae to top off the evening with. The other add on we used was the campfire, which was truly a perfect way to end the evening. I wouldn’t have used any other venue looking back. It was truly a perfect day and Maureen and her team were AMAZING! We HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this venue!

Words cannot describe how absolutely beautiful this venue is! We heard about this venue through one of my coworkers and I am so grateful we did. We toured the venue with Maureen, the owner, who was very informative and helped us envision how our day would be. Besides this we toured one other venue, and visited many online but this one captured our hearts. We booked our venue here, and right away Maureen provided recommended vendors and allowed us to bring in our own vendors. The caterer Maureen recommended was truly were amazing also and helped in making our day super perfect. Beautiful beautiful beautiful flowers from Ricks Flowers made the day! It was so valuable to have this venue provide us with vendors and their services. Throughout the whole process, Maureen was very professional and responsive even when I had small questions every other week or so :). The day of our wedding which was in late October was absolutely gorgeous and seamless. We had our cocktail hour outside and we used Maureen's vintage seating and farm tables from wood at the farm, it was really nice. Our guests loved, and used for pictures! We also were allowed to come in the day before and decorate with any and all props we wanted to use from the farm. This was awesome because she has so many rustic props, and it truly all comes together with any vision you may have. This is also a beautiful backdrop for all your wedding pictures with your hubby and your wedding party!! Everything is GORGEOUS! I would absolutely recommend this venue in a heartbeat. I truly had my dream wedding, and it would not have been possible without this beautiful venue and great owner, Maureen! Thank you so much Maureen and Fox Chase Farm!

My husband, Dougie and I, got married at Fox Chase Farm in July, 2016. We could not have been happier with our choice of venue. When we walked the property back in January of 2015, we knew instantly that this was where we were supposed to get married. Working with Maureen was a breeze! She was lovely! When we decided on Fox Chase, we knew there could always be the potential of the new barn not being complete and as it turns out, Maureen had no control of it but was so incredibly accommodating! Of course we had our hearts set on the new barn but we knew our “plan B” was just as good, and needed to execute this plan on the day of our wedding. Getting married in the stables proved to be an absolutely magical experience. One guest even noted that it felt like a scene from the movie. It was very intimate with all of our 100 guests looking on as we shared our vows and went through the ceremony. The reception was absolutely perfect in the restored barn and our guests ate, drank, and danced the night away. I loved that this venue truly spoke for itself. I did not have to do much in terms of my own decor and simply just added personal touches to the cocktail hour and reception area. I highly recommend Fox Chase Farm in Middleburg, VA for your wedding! We were blessed with a perfect day!

Awesome venue for a wedding! Maureen the owner is so easy going and great to work with. We did run into a little snag along the way but Maureen stepped in and was able to provide a great solution to the problem. I am extremely happy that I chose to have my wedding at fox chase farm.

As if this venue needs any more positive reviews! Our wedding was positively magical and in large part, thanks to the gorgeous setting of Fox Chase Farm. In all honesty, Maureen was a large part of why we booked with them. Talking to her at the initial tour made us feel comfortable and in good hands. Their service was above and beyond. Our guests can't stop raving about the farm and the horses. Anyway, we had the best time and my only complaint is that it was over before I knew it!

My daughter was recently married at Fox Chase Farm, and our experience there was absolutely wonderful! The venue is just beautiful in its rustic simplicity. Maureen Hanley, the manager, immediately put us at ease, and was a real pleasure to work with. She’s warm, friendly, and right on top of things. The ceremony took place outdoors, with breathtaking views in the background. The reception was held in the barn. The cottage on the property, which is available for the bridal party to get ready in, is charming and comfortable, and we enjoyed a very special time there before the wedding. It also makes for some lovely photos. Our guests raved about the horses. My daughter truly had the rustic, chic, “boots in a barn” wedding of her dreams at Fox Chase. I highly recommend this wedding venue!!!

My husband and I got married at the Fox Chase Farm in April 2015. Maureen was extremely warm and welcoming and from the beginning was very organized which helped me so much! It rained a few days prior to our wedding and we thought for certain that we would have to move everything indoors, but luckily for us, the weather cleared up just in time on Friday and was beautiful for the weekend. Maureen's staff was always around and really assisted us in keeping the chaos to a minimum. Just some of the details that Maureen and her staff took care of was helping with the farm golf cart to get our guests who had issues with walking, etc. it was just great. The horses were stunning and made for great photos. They even allowed our dog to take place in the ceremony! Overall, we had a lovely experience and strongly recommend Fox Chase Farm for anyone wanting a beautiful country setting!

My husband and I fell in love with Fox Chase Farm's barn the very first time we came to view the property. The owner, Maureen, is absolutely wonderful to work with! She always had a positive and warm attitude which made us feel welcome and as if we had known her for a long time. Maureen was extremely responsive every time we had questions and encouraged us to visit the site as many times as we wanted while we were planning everything. She made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable! The farm was absolutely wonderful and our guests loved the horses and they enjoyed visiting with them during our wedding. It was really magical. I highly recommend using Fox Chase Farm for any couple getting married in the Middleburg Virginia area. The surrounding area is picturesque, the venue is easy to find, and Maureen will make the process easy and enjoyable for couples!

We booked our wedding really late in the season and didn't expect to find a great place, but boy were we surprised to find Fox Chase Farm. It's beautiful and was the perfect rustic venue. It has barns that are were able to do both the ceremony and reception in the same location as well as allowing for ample space in the reception. Maureen, the point of contact, was very helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. Overall, I thought it was an awesome place.

My finance and I plan on having our wedding here in November 2016 and we are so happy with Fox Chase Farm and all the things they are giving us. They are so helpful and so nice. Our friends got married here three years ago and we fell in love with it then. The cost of the venue was very affordable for all that we are getting. They let us bring our own caterer, music, etc. We don't have to order wine, like the vineyards make you do and we can bring our own vendors, but we are using some great vendors from their preferred vendor's list. We really excited to be having our wedding this year at Fox Chase Farm!

When I got engaged last Christmas and it was always my dream to be married in Middleburg, Virginia and when I found Fox Chase Farm, I flipped out because of the horses and their barn venues. I have read some of the reviews and had to say, the negative review that was posted is so unfair and sad to read. The owners of the Fox Chase Farm could not have been more accommodating to us when the new barn was not complete in time. We were sad to see that weather and construction delays prevented us from having the barn wedding, but The Hanley's made so many efforts to make our day great! We never had to scramble to find another venue. We never had to worry about anything. We found all the people at Fox Chase Farm accommodating to every email and phone call. Believe me, Fox Chase Farm is a great facility and everyone who works there has been beyond helpful and accommodating. We love Fox Chase Farm.

We can't say enough great things about Fox Chase Farm! They have been beyond accommodating to us after the delays in construction of their new barn. We knew what we were getting into with pre-construction and when it turned out that the weather caused most of the delays, Maureen and her team made tremendous efforts to make us happy!
