made our day run smoothly. We did not have to worry about anything, and even for me that I'm a control freak and like things to be perfect everything I told them they made sure it went as I wished. They helped us throughout the planning process and took off so much weight from us throughout the planning and on the actual day. Don't have anything bad to say because the experience they provided for me was just above and beyond what I ever expected. Will forever be grateful for how our wedding day turned out, highly recommend!

The ceremony went so smoothly, the dinner was delicious, our guests loved the photo booth and we have amazing memories because of it! We could not have been happier and will always remember this as the perfect wedding day for our daughter!

Our entire family instantly fell in love with her. She went above and beyond to ensure every little detail was considered. I cannot say enough about our experience. It was perfect.

We were told that if we rescheduled, we would have to pay everything again (not given the choice of rescheduling for a week day at no additional charge, or paying a rescheduling fee...nothing...just paying $15,000 twice)! On top of that, our day-of-coordinator was there for the walk-thru/rehearsal the day before and then never showed for our actual wedding. The replacement coordinator came late and seemed to have zero idea about any of our plans... and kept asking me (the bride) about every little thing throughout the day (even though I had a detailed binder of our entire wedding plans). Our wedding day ended up being beautiful because we got to marry each other, but this venue did absolutely nothing to make our day easy, memorable, or joyous. Beautiful venue but not a company I could ever recommend because they did not care about their customers at a time when we needed it most.

overlook of Hill Country. The inside space provides a stage for a band, dj, or an indoor wedding. But the beautiful white beams, the grand staircase, and the chandeliers are what catch the eye. We were impressed with the personal care we received at the Milestone. The food was delicious--not just good for a wedding, but really good. Everything was set-up as we had hoped. Glory, our event manager and our day-of coordinator at the Milestone, we attentive to details, kept things running smoothly and on time, and was kind to all of us. Our experience was absolutely wonderful, making a special day into a perfect day!

nd all questions that we had. The food was really good and the venue itself was gorgeous. The amount of natural light you get while being inside was astonishing. The location is truly perfect in which you feel like you are away from the city but really just 25 minutes away from downtown georgetown. The price might be a tad high but comparing to other locations we looked at, we are completely thrilled we ended up choosing the Milestone.

clients as people. The last management change was to Glory as their GM. And it was their best decision yet. I was shocked the difference Glory has made on the outcome of my wedding. She went above and beyond to make sure I was secure in my decisions, gave me advice when I asked, was always available to chat through specifics or generics of my wedding. She really has turned this place around. As far as the actual venue, amazing! stunning! everything you could ever want. The onsite groomsmen and HUGE bridal suite is perfect for on site getting ready for everyone in your wedding party. In house catering options, amazing reception and on site ceremony space, rehearsal options, the list goes on! Nestled off TX29 this is an oasis for a beautiful spin on modern day farmhouse vibe. I'm not sure if this was just our wedding but they said our ceremony had to be at 6pm so if that's late or the time change won't permit that for your wedding, something to consider. But that also could be a rule from previous management, regardless it worked out perfectly for our spring wedding! Golden hour was incredible.

he string of managers who came and went until Raegan was appointed the manager towards the end. She was very much easier to work with. She listened to us, was understanding of our needs and did her best to abide by our expectations. She is very, very good! It is a beautiful venue but we are not happy with the senior management of the company that owns it (Walters Wedding Estates). The best they can do, going forward, is to ensure Raegan stays at the Milestone and her management gives her sufficient freedom to work closely with customers who rent the venue to ensure they are satisfied with the service rendered. The food was catered by the venue. The food tasting was excellent though the ~$740 for the tasting was outrageously high. But the food served at the wedding was very poor. Three of the items were too salty, one was too sour and one was burnt. So, an outside caterer for ethnic food, such as Indian food, is recommended for those renting this very beautiful venue. Lastly, the email system and their payment system to support automatic electronic funds transfer need major overhaul. They are archaic and quite unreliable!

did a great job at that. Both of my day of coordinators we’re amazing and I would not have been able to relax and enjoy my wedding without them. They were so sweet through the entire process and craziness but knew how to set people straight when they needed to be. There were a lot of things that happened the night of the wedding, but both of our coordinators did an amazing job at taking care of it and not stressing us out more. After touring about 20 different venues in the hill country area, this venue by far gave me the best prices as well as easiest packages to choose from. I was a pretty laid-back bride who knew what I wanted but also wasn’t picky about every little thing, so if this is you, this venue is perfect!

bridal party would have. Everything was an inconvenience to her. Thankfully, there was another lady involved and she was AMAZING!!!! But please do yourself a favor and hire a different day of coordinator if you are parred up with Hannah. The venue itself was amazing, food was amazing!

hem. However, The Milestone (local to where I lived) was a different story. Once we booked The Milestone and signed the contract, we realized all they care about is $$$. They will butter you up and make it seem like they care about you and your event but in reality it’s just about the money. They try to pinch every penny out of you. They DO NOT give two shits about your needs or your event. Communication is BEYOND awful! Good luck getting a hold of anyone & if someone does get back to you, they likely will be unhelpful. Although their contract says unlimited visits to the venue etc, that’s BS. It’s nearly impossible to book a time/day to visit the venue. I booked a meeting ONE MONTH in advance so my out of town caterer could assess the venue/kitchen and make sure they have what they need. The Milestone cancelled this meeting TWO DAYS prior to the scheduled date because of unforeseen circumstances. I understand things do not go as planned but The Milestone was not understanding of my situation at all. I just needed 30 minutes at the venue with my caterer. I had already paid for the caterer to travel to Georgetown on his own time to make sure things went well on the wedding day. Instead of working with me, The Milestone made me feel like I was an awful person for wanting to come in still. My day of event coordinator also struggled to get in touch with anyone at this venue! She is very experienced in the wedding industry and she told me she has never had so much trouble getting a hold of someone to get a simple question answered. I could go on and on…. I rarely write reviews, especially bad ones. However, after being a bride and going through the planning process I feel that I owe it to future couples to be aware of The Milestone & it’s management. If I knew what I know today I would’ve never even considered The Milestone for my wedding venue. One day they’re going to get what they deserve…karma.

We have no complaints with the Mikestone - Georgetown and most likely my adult daughter will also choose this venue for her wedding. (Hopefully in the near future). Thank you again.

day of coordinator. - There’s a lot of turnover so you’ll likely speak to several different venue managers from the time you sign the contract to your actual wedding day. This caused quite a bit of miscommunication which was frustrating. I planned my wedding during Covid, so hopefully it's more stable now. - They were severely understaffed for a wedding with 225 guests. The buffet and bar lines were absurdly long and bussing tables took them longer than it should. My wedding planner had to start helping clean tables. - They ran out of beer during our reception even though it was an open bar. - After being told the open bar we paid for was inclusive of drinks for getting ready, they gave us only one bottle of champagne in the bridal suite. We had 15 women in there over the span of 6 hours, so clearly this wasn't enough. - Our chicken was undercooked to the point where some guests claimed theirs was raw. - The toilet in the grooms suite overflowed on the day of our wedding. - The bridal suite is absolutely gorgeous but there isn't a ton of natural light for makeup and pictures.

hen we had our rehearsal at the venue and we were told that we could not get there until an hour later than what we had previously been told, and that we couldn’t bring our own champagne to the bridal suite for mimosas and pictures like we had previously been told that we could. So it seemed like there were quite a few issues with miscommunication or lack thereof. The next issue came after my husband and I had already had our grand exit and left the venue for the night. Our bridal party and families stayed behind to pack and clean up our belongings. The staff working the night of our wedding at the milestone were consistently rushing our family by doing a minute-by-minute countdown which I found unnecessary and unhelpful. The last issue started during the ceremony and carried over into the clean up afterwards: one of our guests was over-served by the bartender (even after being told to stop serving this particular guest). After this guest ultimately got sick during our reception, the staff at the milestone proceeded to blame my family for this chain of events. My brother, who is a former TABC-certified waiter and bartender, informed the staff that it is the bartender’s responsibility because he violated TABC when he over-served this individual. In addition, the security guard (who was required due to using the bar through the venue) did not do anything to help with this situation of our drunk guest getting out of hand. All in all, I wish some things had been handled differently by the staff at the milestone the day of our wedding, but it was an amazing weekend nonetheless. I am very thankful to the milestone for making our wedding memorable and for exceeding our lowered expectations due to Covid.

e my family and I ran the entire wedding, I didn’t get to enjoy my sisters wedding like I should’ve. No one knew the schedule, I was getting asked questions that I shouldn’t have been responsible for. I tried my best to maintain the order and have everything be perfect for my sister and now husband but it definitely stressed me out and my parents. What my sister and her husband paid for service, coordinator and whatever other fees that come with a venue was a waste of money. No one was there to actually help and something so simple as replacing the trash bags was not even done, the event turned it good but the stress we had as a family trying to keep everything clean and organized should not have happened if supposedly there was an event coordinator and staff there.

tions across Texas. Working with them was exhausting and one of the worst experiences I have ever had. COVID issues aside, they do not follow contracts and will break your contract without your approval or choice. I was grandfathered in from before the renovations and new TABC licensing and was forced to opt in to their bar package. One of the reasons we did not want this was so that we could take our extra alcohol home at the end of the night. We fought hard to reduce the cost which eventually they agreed to. They have employee turnover like no other company I have ever heard of so if you like the person you meet with or make any sort of arrangement or agreement with a manager there, make sure to get it in writing and keep your own documents. They deleted emails and documents through their portal between us and my planners. I went through three food and beverage managers while I was there and they did not have a single day of coordinator by the time I got married as they had all left. The area manager ended up being the point of contact for us that day. The day before the wedding, we realized it would be 107 outside so we decided to pull the trigger on the "rainy day plan" as my grandmother would be attending and it was too hot for guests. They first said no because they did not have enough employees to flip the room for dinner. Then I was told that my guests could sit in their dinner spots while I walked down the aisle. Finally I said that my guests would do the flip and they did. My wedding was successful because of my planners, vendors and guests and IN SPITE of all the obstacles put in place by the venue. I would highly suggest looking at other venues in the area. The location is beautiful but unfortunately, not worth the trouble or heartache.

later. Prior to the wedding date we had a second details meeting just to make sure everything was good prior to the original shut down of everything. We had a rehearsal the day before the wedding and our planner was awesome. She was very detailed and made sure we hit everything for the day of. The bridal suite is beautiful and there is plenty of space for the bridal party and hair and makeup. The venue makes you feel like you are having a Hill Country wedding without driving all the way out there. It’s a very modern farmhouse feel. We had the venue cater our wedding and the food was great! Everyone kept commenting on how the food was so good. The day of the venue took safe precautions and made sure the people serving our drinks and food were gloved and wearing masks. They also had hand sanitizer available for everyone. Everyone felt comfortable being there and they really helped us enjoy the day.

Then due to covid-19 our count of people decreased for the bar package but “GUY” wouldn’t let us lower it down which would decrease our price. They don’t respond to any emails, text or calls even after we left voicemails unless it’s in their favor like for collecting money. When the new management took over they tried to change our entire contract but we had saved emails and copies of everything to keep it the same. They didn’t take the pandemic into any circumstance. They showed no sympathy towards us. Only cared when money was due. This place was a 4/5 rating when I first started planning and the closer it got to my date the worse everything got. If you want to use this venue for your big day have your own coordinator and contact them only through email so you have receipts. It definitely was a day to remember. I’m glad my decorations, food and family were great because it would of been the worst wedding ever just for the horrible time management. We ended up taking over at the reception. The bar staff also offered shots for tips which was forbidden per venue rules. I’m so thankful for my photographer to get free shots the next day since a lot of special moments were missed due to the coordinator not having our timeline ready. Again gorgeous place to get married just be ready for the staff to ramble you into something.

The lighting, sound, venue grounds, interior, everything were just perfect. Great bar staff and reasonable pricing. Guests all raved about how beautiful the venue was. Again, though - I have to say Rami was amazing and was a huge part of making our experience so wonderful. We cannot thank her enough!

Ryleigh met with my parents as well as with me and my partner on two separate occasions to give us a great tour. Rami was very pleasant and well-informed at our details meeting and gave us sound, realistic advice. I had made slight changes a few days prior to the wedding and emailed her, and she was very receptive and understanding. Rami and her staff ensured everything went smoothly on the wedding day and that the event stayed on track. We literally had no problems and everything went according to plan. My husband and I would highly recommend this venue to all engaged couples.

The team was understanding of the situation and of what we had purchased and they gave me options to pay them separately for alcohol and they would be in charge of purchasing it or buying one of their outrageous packages. About a week after our details meeting I still hadn't heard anything from the venue as far as my timeline, seating chart or rehearsal time. I finally sent the office an e-mail in panic mode wanting to meet again to discuss alcohol and details, I was introduced to Rami. I met with Rami the next morning on a Sunday. She made it clear that nothing at our details meeting was noted and that we could have them purchase our alcohol without ever worrying about running out, she had everything under control. We ended up adding an extra hour before and after our allotted time and we were set for the wedding day. The venue, chairs, tables, cocktail tables, etc. were not set up and unexpectedly my bridal party had to work hard to get it all done instead of getting ready. From the time I was greeted I NEVER SAW ANY WEDDING COORDINATOR again. As the day went on, we were never kept on track by the coordinator and everything seemed to be falling apart. Rami DID NOT help with anything. She didn't put the layout I wanted and knew nothing about what was going on throughout the day. Thankfully I had an awesome team of vendors and bridal party who made the small things going wrong behind the scenes unaware to me. The first time I saw Rami that day was about halfway through the reception to tell me we had run out of alcohol. She was very emotional in her delivery and I had panicked on her. This created a SCENE at the wedding and people got involved. She ended up crying in front of guests and went crazy on everyone. She wanted to charge my maid of honor about $1000 on the spot to get more alcohol. It was crazy because as soon as we calmed her down she magically found more without charging us. She started to kick people out of the party for just standing there because according to her "they were drinking too much". The sheriffs at the party were very nice and patient of the whole situation and said "they would never had decided that but had to follow what their employer wanted". She argued with people from my family and yelled at numerous people such as my parents, in laws, bridal party, guests and myself. On our timeline our end time for the party was 11 am and we had to be out by 12 am. But I later learned that Rami had her team start picking up center pieces at 9:30 pm!!! The sheet cake in the back was never put out and Rami never handed over my DJ the bridal party introduction list which was said incorrectly. Rami also had her team throw away my bouquet that had my grandmothers pendant who passed way on it. It was so embarrassing to have so many things go wrong that clearly could have been avoided. I just wish I would have picked another venue to get married out. What happened on my wedding day was not worth the price I paid. I have been so heartbroken about all of it. I hope this review helps the next bride never go through everything I went through with the venue.

milestone was honestly better than I could ever imagine. Rami, Jennifer, and the catering staff were beyond kind and attentive, I felt as if they went the extra mile to give us the perfect day and they were never bothered with anything we asked! Jennifer was everywhere but out of the way at the same time and to have someone who helped keep you calm but on time was amazing. We were told when we signed that we couldn’t do sparklers for our exit....Jennifer and another member of her staff went and found sparklers after I told them about what we were told (this was 20 minutes before our exit, talk about perfect) and we had an amazing exit! I highly recommend this beautiful venue, not only for the venue itself but for the amazing staff that comes with it! Also, shout out to the chef...the premium fajita buffet....ROCKED IT!

as great - There are a lot of different ways you can utilize the space - The location, being off the highway makes it a quiet place to get married! My Experience: The coordinators, on my wedding day, repeatedly said they were only there to help me "stay on time" and not to ensure my decorations were all set. - My friends, photographer, and 1 of my makeup people went and made sure things were set up. We didn't stay on time, nobody came and got me for my first look or help "coordinate" that, even though that was on the timeline. Because we didn't stay on time, I didn't get ANY pictures on the Balcony OR with my wedding party BEFORE our wedding! (This is EXTREMELY annoying). The coordinators were not very helpful! About 30 minutes before I walked down the aisle (we were already 15 minutes last in starting), they said the outside speakers were not working and we're trying to convince my singer, that I paid to sing to stand inside and sing. They didn't ask me; they made this decision. Once my best friend told me what was happening, I had to walk over and tell them to allow my singer to sing outside. (if you read the reviews, you will see the sound system isn't a new problem. I, unfortunately, didn't read the reviews beforehand). We were not asked about any dietary restrictions. My husband is actually vegan but was given a cold plate of food, with meat and things that he couldn't eat. If you decided to Book things to do - Watch your fee list. Know how much a bar on the balcony is, know how much linens are (and what they look like), how much it will cost per hour to extend your time. Know that the time that you rent for them INCLUDES the last hour being used to clean up for the venue. In your "pre-wedding meeting," have pictures of how the wedding should look and where places should go. Hire your own day of planner so that your friends and family do not have to help you set up. OR prepare your friends and family to help you set up. LOOK at the coordinator list BEFORE your wedding day, so you know what they are supposed to do. If you have OCD, like me, ensure that you have pictures of your decor and your timeline, so everyone else is away of what is to be expected. (having your own day of planner can also help with this). Think twice before deciding on the Milestone and ask questions through email, so you have it documented on your wedding day. Lastly, take some time to go through the reviews on here and look at how they respond OR choose not to respond to the other people who have left negative reviews. That is a great insight into how they view customer service. The great thing for me is the only guest that knew about any of this and complained to me was only a handful. BUT for the money you will spend here and for the memories of your wedding day, having people the coordinators have awful customer service is the LAST thing you will want to deal with on your wedding day!

Outside of that, everything else was perfect. Beautiful landscaping, scenic hill country views, gorgeous chapel and wonderful reception hall.

Our guests absolutely LOVED the venue and the view from the balcony, being able to see the beautiful sunset, made for amazing pictures and really heightened the beauty of the property. They also gave us recommendations on vendors but let us do pretty much whatever we wanted and were also very responsive to any questions we had along the way. A day-of coordinator was included in our cost and she was phenomenal! She made our month leading to our wedding and our wedding day seamless. We wish we could re-live the day all over again. Couldn't recommend the Milestone enough!

The staff was great and easy to work with as well as were very accommodating and helpful the day of! It was also extremely helpful to uses the seating design webpage they provided so everything would be set up and ready for us the day of! The bridal and groom suites are spacious and all the mirrors made it a great place to get ready. I highly recommend having your wedding here!

s nervous to commit to something I hadn't physically seen myself but the week before when we had our first visit, all of my worries instantly melted away. The reception hall was absolutely gorgeous and required very little decoration to make it shine. Even the outdoor ceremony site was perfectly fine with little to no decoration. The staff at The Springs were awesome and Susan knew exactly what to do to make it all come together rain or shine! We could not have picked a better venue and are so glad that we got to have our big day there!

e guest count of 260 with the rustic vibe I wanted on a beautiful location. Our only complaint would be that we had a last minute seating chart change, and when our coordinator arrived on site, we were missing two tables, but they were quick to solve the issue and everything turned out amazing. All of our guests kept asking how we found this place and it was the perfect backdrop to all of our photos!
