The Mill, we got that feeling immediately and knew it was the one. Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and every part of it was perfect. That wasn’t by fate or coincidence — every member of The Mill’s team goes above and beyond to thoughtfully curate an unforgettable experience. Throughout the planning process, we worked with our wedding coordinator, Christopher, who was kind, helpful, and informative. His clear communication made our 1.5 years of wedding planning smooth and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. For a full circle moment, Christopher was there to greet us on our wedding day and ensure our day started smoothly. Alongside Christopher was our maitre'd, Tyler. Tyler was unbelievable. His calm demeanor, clear communication, and composed approach made our wedding day feel effortless. His presence and guidance was much appreciated not only by my husband and me, but also our parents and our bridal party. Tyler made sure they were all taken care of throughout the day. Devon was my bridal attendant and another standout member of The Mill. She was incredibly patient and attentive, anticipated every need, and was always there to help without hesitation. Almost two months later, our guests are STILL raving about their experience at our wedding. Our parents’ friends are saying it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended, and our friends keep sharing their favorite foods from cocktail hour (all different from each other!). On top of that, we received endless compliments about the beautiful venue, the stunning outdoor ceremony space, and the kind, attentive staff who helped make the night extra special. The Mill Lakeside Manor is without a doubt, the best place to have your wedding. My husband and I so desperately want someone we know to get married here so we can experience it as a guest!! offer is. My husband and I got married at The Mill on 11/14/25. We were initially drawn to the venue because we had heard great things from friends and had attended a wedding at one of the sister properties- Clark's Landing. One thing we knew for sure is that our guests would not leave hungry. And that was VERY important to us. Second, with the time of year we wanted to get married- we knew we would realistically have an indoor ceremony. It was important to us that the weather would not ruin our day. I did not want to get married somewhere just because I loved the outdoor ceremony space. I wanted to be equally happy if it was cold, raining, etc and had to get married outside. The Mill has stunning views all around the property. With a real feel of 40 ish degrees, we got married indoors, in front of the windows over the lake. It was every bit as picturesque as the lakeside ceremony space. They are also in the midst of finishing up a stand-alone indoor ceremony space instead of having to transform the ballroom. The food is incredible, cocktail hour being the highlight. The menu is endless- you guests will barely have room for dinner but will obviously have to eat because it is too good not to. The staff at the venue is incredible. We worked with Racquel who was incredibly helpful and responsive. Even when she was on maternity leave, we were put in contact with another staff member who was just as helpful. Tyler was the maitre'd. He wad incredible. From the food tasting to every tiny detail on the wedding day- he was 5 steps ahead and thought of things we never would have on our own. We also had a bridal attendant on the wedding day who was there for our every need. Aside from just the couple- our bridal party and parents were frequently checked in with to make sure they had everything they needed through the chaos of the day. After 18 months of planning (no need for a wedding planner with this venue IMO), we are over the moon with how our wedding day played out. It truly was everything we ever dreamed of and more. Having our special day at The Mill was hands down the best decision we made!

tons of back and forth with Sue - the GREATEST coordinator - who answered every email, phone call, and silly question with true and genuine care. The day itself was beyond perfect thanks to Sue, Tyler, Ang, and the rest of the Mill staff. Their professionalism made us feel at ease immediately and they all became fast friends quickly! A month later and we still bring up how much we love Ang. The Mill itself is stunning, the fall foliage & landscaping is so perfect and made a flawless backdrop for our ceremony and photos - elevating every picture. The extras touches and services they provided to our guests left a lasting impression. Not exaggerating, every person that's reached out has confidently said that we had the best wedding they've ever been to in their lives. THE FOOD is not to be believed. The cocktail hour is not only outrageous (positive) in what they offer but also in the quality of the food. The dinner, and offering seconds also had guests in awe!! Everything was delicious. The love and effort that the team put into our wedding, and I'm sure every wedding, is so special and helps elevate the happiness and positivity in the air. obsessing over how perfect the day was - and so much of that credit goes to The Mill's incredible staff, exceptional service, and beautiful venue. For starters, the venue is stunning - it is purpose built and they have thought of everything. It is so beautiful having the lake as the backdrop and with the deck off of the cocktail hour room. The cocktail hour room is spacious with ample room with seating and space for mingling. Even the foyer is stunning! My all time favorite is the stunning landscaping which is always looking fresh & well kept. All of the details make the day more seamless than I could have ever imagined. We were so fortunate to meet with Christopher from on our first tour and even luckier that he became our coordinator. From the start (over a year in advance), Christopher was kind, helpful, and always responsive. He reliably and quickly answered ALL of our endless questions with grace, patience, and professionalism - whether it was vendor recommendations, schedule timing, decor decisions, sending us video clips of the venue when we needed it since we live in the DC area, and much much more. He deserves a huge shoutout and if you get the chance to work with him consider yourself lucky! Throughout the entire planning process they made us feel at ease as every detail is thought of and addressed. Their attention to detail made it so we didn't even need to hire a wedding planner. Every aspect was handled with care & passion. The Mill hires the best of the best, because everyone we encountered was incredible, beyond kind, professional, and offered the kind of attentive service that made you & your guests feel like royalty. We had the best day-of team imaginable, with Tyler as our Maitre'd and Devan as my bridal attendant. They were by our sides when we needed them and frequently & gently checked in with us throughout the night to make sure things were on schedule/to see if we needed anything/you name it. All members at The Mill were professional, kind, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. As you will hear from anyone that has been to a wedding here, the food is UNMATCHED. They offer a variety cuisines during the cocktail hour and one thing is better than the next! The quality of the dinner options make it hard to choose (we had so much fun at our wedding food tasting to say the least!) - everything is off the charts and they go around offering seconds. After that there's traveling treats for dessert and wedding cake - truly unreal! Our friends & family are still raving about how much fun they had and how amazing our wedding was. We couldn't imagine celebrating our wedding anywhere else. We would recommend The Mill to anyone who will listen - do yourself a favor and check them out.

The day-of ran seamlessly, they were on top of the timeline and kept checking in with us and our guests to ensure everything was perfect. We did not need to worry about anything. The wait staff was so professional and had white glove service that was choreographed. There were not any details they did not consider. Our guests were so impressed by the kindness and professionalism of all staff. They consistently went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process. In terms of the venue itself - it is beautiful and the food is plentiful and delicious. Cocktail hour in particular is unmatched with the options provided, the way they are presented in stations and traditionally, and with the indoor/outdoor hybrid atmosphere. There is a lot to do and so many beautiful locations on site to explore.The reception area is a beautiful room with high ceilings. There is an outdoor balcony to watch the sunset and plenty of space for guests to mingle. The two bars are large and gorgeous. Desserts are presented as traveling treats (they offer traditional venetian as well), which includes wait staff moving around the room and dance floor with things such as cupcakes, build your own cannoli, and more. Guests had an amazing time and were blown away by the beauty of the venue, food offerings, and attention to detail. Now after the wedding, we are invited to come back for Alumni events and encouraged to keep in touch. We feel so fortunate that we were able to have our special day somewhere as special as the Mill and recommend the venue so highly.

om the first day we toured the venue, to all the days leading up to the wedding day, Sue and her team were extremely attentive and responsive, as well as proactive in making sure we were on track with our wedding planning. In addition to the service leading up to the wedding, The Mill provides an incredible amount of decor (if you choose to use it) that alleviates so much stress out of the wedding planning process. From welcome signs to centerpieces, everything was more beautiful than I could have picked out myself. The wedding day itself was nothing short of perfect. Everyone at The Mill goes above and beyond to make sure the ceremony and celebration are exceptional. Tyler and his team ran the day so that we didn’t have to think about a thing. Not only were they extremely attentive to me and my husband (making sure we had all the food and drinks we wanted and that everything kept to the schedule we agreed to), but they were specifically attentive to both our parents which made them feel special as well. The guests could not stop raving about the food at the cocktail hour, the spread that The Mill puts out is insane and delicious. It is worth mentioning that it absolutely poured on our wedding day, meaning we couldn’t have the ceremony outside as planned, however, Sue and Tyler were on top of it and we ended up having the most perfect indoor ceremony. We weren’t even thinking about the weather, that’s how amazing everything was. Bottom line - Sue and Tyler and the entire team at The Mill are the best in the industry and we cannot recommend The Mill enough!!

Nobody left hungry that night, they kept thinking the food was done and then BOOM desserts ON THE DANCE FLOOR!! If you want a place that combines beauty, incredible service, and just the right amount of fun energy, this is it. d. The entire Mill staff was extremely professional and made sure every detail was flawless. Our families, our officiant, and our guests were all impressed and are continuing to tell us how much fun they had and how incredible the Mill was!! Everyone loved the food and the venue as a whole. Not only were the staff completely attentive to us throughout the night, making sure we had everything (food, drinks, temporary peace and quiet) we needed, but they made a special point of taking care of our parents in the same way too. We don’t live in New Jersey, but Sue made out-of-state wedding planning easy. She was clear and communicative via email, and always happy to hop on the phone or FaceTime with me. We also did our final details meeting with Tyler over Zoom, and I was a little worried about not being in-person for it, but I had no reason to worry because Tyler is such a pro and knew exactly what to ask. Sue and Tyler, we can’t thank you enough!! Everyone warned us that something always goes wrong on a wedding day, but truly nothing went wrong on ours and we know that’s thanks to everyone at the Mill. We are so grateful. Thank you for making the day everything we hoped for and more. If you’re considering The Mill for your wedding venue, book it!! And then invite us, so we can party again at our favorite place. venue with SO much food, decor and signage you can use, and setup and breakdown. The grounds are stunning and they just updated their outdoor ceremony area so it’s even more beautiful! Our coordinator Racquel was always quick to respond to our emails with any questions we may have while we were planning. The day of the wedding, their team really delivered. From the moment we got there, their bridal attendant Julia was on top of making sure I was taken care of from getting me water, to holding my train or bouquet. She also made sure we were fed! The venue even gave us wedding day gifts based on our likes (my husband got new DND dice and I got a cat mom mug, it was so sweet!) The cocktail hour and dinner blew our guests away. Tyler, our maitre d, also went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and where we needed to be at what time. So many of our guests, including one that was a maitre d at a popular North Jersey venue for 15+ years, said between the food, service, and grounds, it was the BEST wedding they’ve ever been to. And not to be biased, but we could NOT agree more! You will absolutely not be disappointed in choosing this venue.
