The food is a really great and is a unique spread. The service is unmatched!! So many of my guests were voluntarily tipping the waiters because they were so impressed! The grounds are beautiful and so many things come included with the venue, such as the centerpieces. It’s a true jersey shore gem. if I could live at this venue full time, I literally would (lol)!

The entire staff is so kind and helpful throughout the whole wedding planning process and the day of they truly treat you like royalty. Richard was so amazing for our details meeting and the day of he kept us laughing and was handing me things I needed I swear before I even thought I needed it. Our planners Ashley and Sue were so awesome, friendly and quick to respond to any question I had. The waitstaff was so kind to all of our guests during the wedding and many guests made comments of how kind everyone around was. They were very flexible and accommodating to all of our requests and I truly couldn’t be happier to have chosen such a professional and FUN venue to get married at. We got married at the end of April and their tulip gardens were stunning with tulips every where you looked, making for amazing photos. The cocktail hour food is plentiful and amazing, and dinner was incredible. We have had people telling us for months now that it was the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding. Overall, 10/10, book the Mill and you will have an absolutely perfect wedding day!

uckily the staff at the Mill were super helpful and understanding and worked closely with us (all virtually to accommodate us) to make sure our day would still be as special as we imagined. As great as everything was leading up to the big day, we were still surprised by how smooth and absolutely perfect things went throughout the wedding itself. We couldn't have asked for more attentive or detail-oriented staff. Looking back on that day now 2 months later, we wouldn't have changed a single thing. We're still getting compliments from our guests on how fun the wedding was and how gorgeous the venue looked!

f the wedding, us ladies were running behind, yet not one thing went wrong and the staff kept everything on time. I even forgot to give the rings to the best man and one of my girls quietly told Richard during the ceremony and he ran down and found them, handing them down the line of the groomsman just in time! lol The food was amazing, and every picture we took even inside since it was so cold, was timeless. I know price is very important now a days and this venue was worth every penny. I hope a friend gets married here so I can really take it all in!

is was where we were getting married. I felt it in my bones. Kristin was amazing in getting us onboarded. She kept us up to date, worked with us through all of our questions and concerns, and constantly kept in contact. Then came Richard. The king of all wedding maitre d's. He was with us every step of the way, making sure that our day was exactly what we wanted. There was nothing that he said no to, or that he wouldn't help us figure out. The experience leading up to the wedding was stress free. He took care of everything, and checked in regularly leading up to the big day. Now the day itself. The staff was AMAZING. Every single person. You could tell that there was just this amazing group of people who loved what they were doing, and were dedicated to making our day a dream. Richard again, was there, coordinating, making everything work. He was in the background, silently observing, but the second something was needed, he was there. Victoria, his number two, was just as amazing. Anything that needed to happen, happened. Lada, my bridal attendant, was a dream. We were a team the whole day, start to finish, and for meeting her that very day for the first time, she made me immediately feel comfortable and like my experience was important to her. I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. Get married here. You worry about nothing, you have the amazing experience, and you are truly cherished the entire experience.

to be a crisis with my husband’s shoe breaking, they kept us calm and even went out and bought him a new pair of shoes! Every detail of our wedding day was simply perfect from the amazing food, the wide selection of drinks at the bar, and of course the beautiful grounds. Almost a year later and our guests are still raving about how perfect everything was. We cannot thank the staff enough for all of their help and hard work. They make you feel like family from day one and I couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Thank you for the amazing memories!

erienced it. As bride and groom though we felt like royalty! We got married September 2021 and everything was perfect. We worked with Taylor and Jackie and they made the entire process seamless! They think of everything and help out wherever they can! The overall space for cocktail hour and reception is picturesque. The day of the event everyone on staff was on point. I forgot my lipstick and someone ran out to get a new one for me! I needed to perk up, I received an espresso! Cocktail hour and dinner were fabulous. Bride and groom were provided all cocktail offerings in the bridal suite to enjoy as husband and wife. There was so much food we couldn’t eat it all! Being able to enjoy each entree the following day was just another cherry on top. We got to relive the day but in private. I’m still dreaming of the apple crumble! All of our guests had a wonderful time and raved about the food. We love how much space the Mill provides for cocktail hour and reception. We will continue to recommend the Mill to everyone and can’t wait to come back as guests!

ouples our date was postponed because of Covid but it was also rescheduled a total of 3 times because of personal, traumatic and unforeseen circumstances. Throughout this very difficult time, Jackie, Ashley, Richard & Sue were extremely kind and understanding. They went above and beyond to make the rescheduling process effortless. They even helped contact our vendors to give us time to deal with said circumstances. When our big day was finally here, they made sure everything ran as smooth as possible. It allowed us to really enjoy ourselves that day and celebrate our love despite all we have gone through. All throughout the day and days, even weeks after, our guests were raving about the staff, the food, the organization and the overall ambiance of The Mill. I cannot tell you how many people even said it was "the best wedding they have ever been to." My husband and I hope to attend another wedding there just to get the guest experience of the Mill because we love it that much. I cannot say enough about this venue and its entire staff. I will be forever be thankful for our experience with The Mill and look forward to alumni events.

I feel like after two years working with them they might as well be family! They are so responsive, helpful and just amazing in every way! They even provided us with their social tables software to make doing tables easy peasy (gone are the days where you had to use sticky notes on a foam board which is what I thought we would have to do). From the moment you step foot in the Mill from your first tour to your wedding day you’ll see that the service and attention to detail is second to none! So many of our guests commented on the exquisite service and were truly just so impressed because it was nothing they’ve ever experienced before anywhere else. On the day of your wedding as the bride or groom you literally don’t even have to worry about a thing because you can put your full trust in your maitre’ D Richard and the team at the Mill. Richard is incredible, like the best maitre’ D to ever exist. He runs such a tight ship and makes sure everything is perfect. I was almost in tears at the end of our night telling Richard how perfect the night was. Our Bridal Attendant Lada literally made sure we never had an empty drink and was so wonderful and attentive. I could honestly just go on and on about the service but I’ll stop myself because there’s so much more that needs to be talked about. It’s truly nothing you or your guests have ever seen or experienced before and it will truly blow you away. Next up is the food. I can be picky and when I say it is the best food that my mouth has ever tasted that is not an exaggeration. Our guests also raved about the food and were so impressed with the option for second portions of any of the dinner choices. Every new place I ever eat is now going to be compared to the Mill’s food and sadly nothing is likely to live up to it. Cocktail hour is extensive and there’s not a single thing that doesn’t taste incredible. And then lastly, I can’t not mention just how stunningly classy and beautiful the venue itself is. Super clean, super modern yet elegant and just perfect. If you truly want to have a wedding that people will rave about and be the wedding everyone tries to live up to you need to stop looking at venues and just book with the Mill. You will not be disappointed.

e our wedding from our original date to late January of 2022. While this experience of postponing was challenging, and emotionally difficult, The Mill and our coordinators, Ashley and Jackie, were empathic, and professional as we moved our wedding date. Throughout the planning process, with some fear of possible increasing COVID restrictions during Fall/Winter of 2021/2022, Jackie was open, and honest when we asked some difficult questions. We really appreciated her transparency, and honesty. To top off our eventful wedding planning process, the night before our wedding we had a major nor’easter that brought us well over a foot of snow. Stressed with other aspects of the wedding, like making sure all our vendors were able to make it the following day, we had trusted The Mill without any worry that their venue would be open and ready-to-go for us. By the next day, the grounds of The Mill looked beautiful, and snowy. All our guests arrived safe, and were astonished by the views. Our cocktail hour was outstanding, with so many food options that all our guests were highly satisfied with. Our guests continue to talk about how great all the food was from cocktail hour to dessert! My husband, and I had a private cocktail hour in the bridal suite where our food was brought to us to enjoy. This was one of my favorite moments of the day, because it caused us to slow down, and truly enjoy some time alone (which we definitely did, as we enjoyed the food and our signature drinks). Our bridal attendant, Heidi, was so helpful from bustling my dress perfectly, to always making sure myself, my husband, and our families had exactly what they needed throughout the night. She was kind, helpful, and professional! She even packed up the cocktail hour food, our dinners, and desserts that we didn’t have time to eat for us to enjoy the next day! Our Maitre D, Richard, was fantastic since day one when we met him during our tasting. He set up the decor perfectly, and understood our vision very well. He also kept the night moving steadily and smoothly. He organized our bridal party quickly for the reception entrances. Throughout the night, he worked in the background to make sure everything went perfectly for us, which definitely did not go unnoticed by my husband, and I. Richard’s humor, kindness, and professionalism made him the perfect Maitre D for our wedding reception. We appreciate him so much and cannot say enough great things about him! Overall, both myself and my husband, cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our experience working with The Mill, and all the staff members! We will recommend this venue to any couple who is looking for a great, friendly, and professional team; a fantastic range of food cuisines that tasted amazing (thank you Chef Hassan!); and an overall enchanting wedding reception that you and your guests will never forget. We cannot wait to visit again during an alumni event, so we can relive our best day ever, and catch-up with the people that we have grown close with throughout the past few years of wedding planning. A few days before the wedding, I went to the Mill to set up all of our decor. Richard was there to assist us, and he was beyond helpful throughout the whole process. When the day of the wedding arrived, I knew that every detail was exactly how we wanted it to be. Richard kept things running smoothly throughout the night, and somehow made sure our rowdy bridesmaids/groomsmen were in the right places at the right time. Lada was our bridal attendant, and she made sure we always had a drink in hand and that we ate plenty of food throughout the night. Our guests are still raving about the food and drinks (and I am still dreaming about the chocolate molten cake). I really cannot recommend the Mill enough to any brides looking for the perfect venue.

The Mill even provided us with decor options that catered to multiple themes that all reflected the beauty of the venue on the lake. Taylor went above and beyond by answering all of our questions no matter when or how often. What made us love her the most was how genuinely excited she was for us to get married and took the time to get to know us, forming a true friendship. That connection we formed made the entire process seamless, special, and enjoyable! Not only did Taylor help us with the whole planning of our special day, but she also helped us decorate the entire venue the day before. She was there every step of the way and we truly are so grateful because of her attentiveness, our day was flawless. Jackie is truly an expert at what she does. She meticulously handled all the important details of our day and made sure any requests we had were tended to. She even went out of her way to ask and order us our favorite brand and type of wine to have just for us at the sweetheart table. She was always there to answer any questions we had about venue decorations, protocols, timelines, and we can confidently say we never had a single worry about anything the entire night. We had Richard as our Maître d’ and saying he was the best would be an understatement! From the first time we met Richard to the day after the wedding, we have formed a friendship that we will cherish forever. He effortlessly ran the day and he is a true master at what he does. He constantly had us laughing and relaxed to where the pressure of the day just melted away. Our bridal party and family raved about him all night and most importantly he cared for our parents and grandparents as well. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be by our sides that day. The Mill has truly been a dream come true and we are so blessed to have had such a beautiful wedding thanks to these amazing people and the rest of the staff at the Mill. Everytime you walk in those doors you are treated like family and feel such a sense of relief no matter what. We also had the pleasure of working with Jackie and Sue as our date got closer and more needed to be accomplished. You honestly cannot go wrong with anyone of the specialists that you get paird with which is rare! I am one of 5 and have had all my siblings get married at various popular wedding venues and it was no contest, my family said the food and service was the best they've ever seen! It was honestly a 20/10. As a couple, you book based on price, atmopshere and reviews on the food. We all know the food and service is where it's at, but never a guarantee. Not only did The Mill offer the most breathtaking backdrops and scenery for our photographer to work with, but the food and service was insane! Our guests are still talking about the food and how every staff member was super well trained and helpful the night of. Not only do you feel like actual royalty throughout the whole night but Gabriel, Heidi and Richard make you feel more fabulous than Cinderella and The Prince themselves. Richard not only acted as our right-hand man but as our body guard, seamstress and mindreader. He ensured that every wish/detail we made, came true and he did it with grace. We are so thankful that we decided to go with The Mill as our venue and after postponing over a year, we realized it was without question worth the wait!

Taylor and Jackie were constantly there for us. Everything they have done for us has just meant so much. We really can’t say enough how much we appreciate everything. This entire team treats you like family and we couldn’t have asked for more. In addition, our guests could not believe how amazing The Mill was. Not only did we get so many comments about how absolutely beautiful the venue was and how AMAZING the food was, but we also got so many compliments about the staff. Everyone just could not rave enough about how incredible the entire staff was. Every guest was treated like the guest of honor! Still to this day, so many of our guests are talking about how our wedding was THE BEST WEDDING THEY HAVE EVER BEEN TO! How amazing is that! He went above and beyond for us at our food tasting and on our wedding day, he immediately stepped in to help my Maid of Honor bustle my dress. They assured us that precautions were being taken due to COVID, which made us feel so much more comfortable moving forward with our wedding. Igor created beautiful and delicious signature cocktails (which all our guests loved!). Maite, my bridal attendant, was so sweet, accommodating, and attentive— she even made a one-handed catch when my veil flew away! Richard, the maitre d’, was an absolute BLAST to work with. He kept us on schedule, hyped us up, assisted with my bustle, and made sure we (along with our parents) were taken care of all night. His assistant, Gabe, made sure the wait staff during dinner were organized and checked in on us constantly. The food at The Mill is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Our guests still cannot stop raving about the abundance of food at cocktail hour, the dinner options, second portions, and dessert choices. The cherry on top of the cake was the to-go bags of pork roll breakfast sandwiches at the end of the night. Long story short- I hope one of my friends/family members has their wedding here so I can enjoy this perfect venue all over again. Book your wedding here now- it is perfection.

Despite there being a delay in schedule on our end, Richard, the maitre’d, adjusted seamlessly, and our day at the Mill continued without a hitch. All our other vendors had nothing but good things to say about the Mill, and they all worked together to create such a special night for us. Additionally, Jackie, Susan, Heidi, Gabriel, and the servers were all wonderful throughout the entire process. My guests, all 170 of them, have not stopped talking about how wonderful our wedding was. As the first event that many of them have been to in over a year, they were certainly not disappointed. They raved about the setting over the lake, the cocktail hour’s variety, and the service at dinner, as well as the Hangover Station as they walked out the door. In our opinion, we could not have asked for a better place to host our special day. I have absolutely zero complaints, nor any critiques, of the Mill and what they have to offer.

Knowing I had a specific food allergy, he brought me two plates during the cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres; he knew I could eat!! He had his eye on the room with his attention not only on Lora and Sean but on being sure their guests were having a wonderful time. The Mill did provide Lora and Sean the wedding of their dreams!

Allie was the absolute best and I could praise her for hours. Although you hear about all of the horror wedding stories due to COVID, I can truly say The Mill did not cause one ounce of stress and literally went ABOVE and BEYOND exceeding all expectations. Coming from someone who worked at Walt Disney World, Taylor, Richard and the entire Mill team LITERALLY made magic happen, especially Taylor who was a miracle worker two days prior to our wedding. Richard felt like my fairy godfather and I felt like I had known him my entire life. Richard deserves all of the iced tea in the world and more. My husband couldn’t stop saying how he felt like royalty all night long. Thank you guys for going above and beyond and for the most perfect day! It was 1000x worth the wait and the day was better than we had ever dreamt of. We are forever grateful you were at the very start of and what appears to be the end of the pandemic with us. There is finally some light at the end of the tunnel. No Monday could ever top this one! 😊 Fourth time is the charm.

s TOP NOTCH. We have had the pleasure of working with Ashley, who was nothing but patient and informative especially though Covid and all its restrictions. She was quick to answer emails and simplify any worries my husband and I had presented to her. She made our experience truly easy and enjoyable from our tasting, to selecting our final menu, and choosing where to place our decor for our big day. Ashley and her team even offered to do our signature drink sign for us. The food was definitely a plus. Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour and receiving seconds at dinner. We even had our hangover station on our guests’ way out to keep them full for the ride home after dancing all night! A huge shout out to Richard (Maitre’ D) and Lada (bridal assistant) for allowing my husband and I enjoy our 20 minutes of quiet. They brought all the food at cocktail hour to us in the bridal suite and drinks to enjoy. They just made us feel so at peace and taken care of. Truly felt like family. I would also like to say thank you to Richard for helping me bustle my dress several times throughout the night. He was so prepared and pinned my dress until it didn’t fall anymore. You can just see the dedication and hospitality each staff member shows to their bride, groom and guests. It is clear that every detail is well thought out. In the bridal suite, they even had hair curlers, deodorant, hair spray, pins, and anything else you could think of if necessary. We know our guests enjoyed the deck and all the beautiful grounds that the Mill prepares for each special occasion. I could go on and on but this beautiful venue just made our day SO special. If you are struggling to find the perfect venue please take the initiative to come see this amazing place. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Thank you Mill staff for giving us the best day of our lives. Mill reassured us that they would take care of things and we would still have the day we dreamed about. A year later on 4/29/21 we had a vow renewal ceremony and reception and it exceeded my expectations! Taylor and Richard were incredible leading up to the day and the day of and we couldn’t have done it without them! All of our guests have been extremely complimentary and had so much fun. It was everything we dreamed of and would highly recommend The Mill to anyone!

Richard was a true superhero that day from start to finish especially when my dress ripped and he followed me around all night pinning it. Our family and friends are still raving about the whole night, saying it was the best wedding they have ever been too! We will forever look back on our wedding day and be thankful we chose The Mill.

They paid attention to every little detail including our dog Bruce, when I walked into my bridal suite there was a cute note saying "goodluck mom" and a picture of Bruce. They helped our family experience a perfect evening. Yes, it was smaller than we had originally planned, but the joy shared by those who were able to make it was overwhelming! The Mill is beautifully appointed both inside and out. The food is abundant, varied, and deliciously prepared. The service is attentive and generous. What made our experience particularly noteworthy, however, was the frequent tweeks to the plans as laws and best practices changed due to Covid. Jackie stayed on top of what could and could not be done and advised us every step of the way. We are forever grateful!

I saw Jackie’s vision for the outside area and we put all of our trust in her. We are SO glad we did because it was amazing. From the beautiful garden to the modern decor, everything complimented our wedding decor beautifully. Honestly, by the time we transferred to the Mill I was exhausted and stressed with not knowing if my wedding was even going to happen. I was nervous because they hadn’t hosted many outdoor receptions up until that point, but Jackie would text me pictures to help me visualize our day and answer all of my questions - easing my concerns. Working with Judy, I got all of my excitement back again. What a sweetheart! I sent her pictures of how I wanted everything to look on the day of and she executed it perfectly. Thank you so much to Jackie, Judy, Heidi, and the entire team at The Mill for making my dream wedding come to life! Our guests are still raving that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, there was more food + drinks than they could ever want and the service was just impeccable. The crew made sure everyone was safe and comfortable, and I don’t feel like my wedding experience was limited in anyway. Planning a wedding during COVID is extremely stressful & I can’t say how thankful I was to have had an amazing team to work with to put me at ease. Kristen, Nicole, Judy, Jackie and team did an amazing job listening to our vision and pulling the details together within such a short timeframe. It blew my expectations completely out of the water and that was only the planning process pre-wedding! For our wedding day, the service was top notch from the bridal attendants to the staff. They ensured my husband and I were fed, always had a drink in our hands and even had eyelash glue to help with my eyelashes that were coming off (who would have thought!) The whole team, especially Judy and Jackie, made everything run so smoothly while ensuring all guests felt safe with the ongoing pandemic. I give them major kudos since they made it look so easy! To this day, all my guests still rave about the delicious and plethora of food (bacon me crazy cocktail hour station - highly recommend!) the gorgeous grounds and the quality and professionalism of service from the staff. I knew that The Mill had a great reputation but I can honestly say that I feel like the team outdid themselves. I can’t recommend them enough!

When we left our first visit, we were given treats for our pet cat Ozzy, which myself and my now husband really took note of. We mentioned how much we love our cat and that gesture really made me feel like they listened to our requests/wants. My husband did a lot of the correspondence with me CCed in emails. We were always greeted quickly with a response and felt we got all the answers we needed. This helped us coordinate our vendors quickly and get everything in order. When covid began in March, we had our concerns and thought like everyone else at the time that this would pass by October (our wedding was on 10/15/20). As month after month went on, we did get concerned hearing horror stories. We did not experience any of this with The Mill! The tasting was set outside and socially distanced between other couples. Our questions and concerns were met with ease and while we had reservations, we were always put to ease immediately. The day of the wedding was very exciting and while this may be their profession where they see brides and grooms almost daily, they were just as ecstatic as we were! They made sure everything was organized adhered to the schedule. Social distancing and temperature checks were practiced and all the staff wore masks. We were waited on hand and foot. The bridal suite was given champagne as well as an assortment of meats and fruits. It was a great way to calm any nerves! There was a speaker to connect your phone to play music, which really helped add to the relaxing atmosphere. The groomsmen suite had an Xbox for their entertainment, too! The ceremony, reception, first dance, and dinner were all beautifully put together. Everyone felt comfortable. We had less than 98 guests and were safely out on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake and nature. We still get compliments on the food! Overall, the experience was lovely. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was very stressful, but The Mill eased our worries multiple times and handled all our concerns like bosses. Everyone is happy and healthy! Were thriving in married life and cannot sing everyone's praises at The Mill enough! Judy and Taylor from start to finish coordinated it all to perfection.

The Mill worked with us to give us just as much as we would have had if we had the full 240-person affair. They made sure our family and friends were comfortable and safe. The entire day was incredible thanks to Judy, Jackie, and the whole staff at The Mill. Our guests raved about the food, the service, the decor, and the attention to detail. At one point, my friend arrived with her dress split down the back. Jackie ushered her into a private room and the staff sewed up her dress and made her a plate from cocktail hour so she wouldn’t miss any of the food. Another guest of ours has food allergies, and the chef made her a special, allergen-free dinner. This is the level of service you pay for at The Mill. My husband and I wanted for nothing on our wedding day. At every turn, the staff was there to make us comfortable, feed us the most amazing food, and help us with anything we needed. They were also incredible to our parents and siblings, who were treated like royalty all night. If I could change anything about the day, I wouldn’t. Everything was beautiful and unforgettable.

Having never been married before or planned a wedding we didn’t realize that when shopping for a venue the service is just as important as the food and aesthetic value! The whole team wants you to have a wonderful day and will do anything in their power to give it to you. We mostly worked with Allison, Ryan and Garrett but everyone you came across at The Mill was extremely helpful. We had to ask for some weird things - my sister has some extreme dietary restrictions and many of our guests didn’t drink - but they were able to make her food she could eat and swap the champagne for sparkling cider for our guests. We even had a non-alcoholic custom drink! If you’re thinking that these are things that should be standard you may be shocked to learn that some of the venues we looked at would not accommodate these things. That is what makes this a truly fantastic venue. Our guests loved it (we heard from many that it was the best wedding they had been to) and we had the wedding of our dreams. If you’re considering The Mill you can’t go wrong.

He said he couldn't say no to Allison's excitement and enthusiasm to show off the venue. After his tour, he told me that I needed to see it for myself, and that I had to meet Allison, because her energy and pride in The Mill had sold him on the venue almost immediately. When I visited with my mother and MIL a few days later, the venue blew me away as well, even though it was in the early stages of construction. We booked our date shortly after, again meeting with Allison, and continued to check in regularly to see the construction progress. The staff was always so welcoming and eager to share the progress with us, even when we dropped in at the most random times. The renovations took an already impressive venue and made it absolutely INCREDIBLE! The staff as a whole (but especially Allison, Ryan, and Liz!) was beyond helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process! It started to feel like the staff were friends who were just as excited about our wedding as we were, and their guidance and helpfulness made wedding planning exponentially less stressful. I can't put into words how wonderful they are--they even reached out with a care package when they heard my grandmother passed a few weeks before our wedding, which just goes to show how supportive everyone at The Mill is on all levels. Our wedding day itself was everything we ever imagined it would be and more. Our guests are still talking about it regularly! Every detail was coordinated meticulously by Ryan--we literally didn't have to worry about a single thing. Ryan and Allison went above and beyond for us, and were invaluable every step of the way! The Mill's staff made sure the ceremony space was set up outside despite a rainy forecast--and we got the perfect break of sunshine to have our ceremony in the well-maintained garden, followed by having our pictures taken on the gorgeous grounds. We are SO appreciative to the staff for doing everything possible to make our wedding absolutely perfect and memorable!!! The venue, the staff, the food, the atmosphere-- everything about The Mill Lakeside Manor deserves more than a 5-star rating. We cannot say enough about how wonderful The Mill is--my husband and I wish we could have our wedding all over again without changing a thing!!!

They were so flexible, and were so accommodating with the menu and made changes to make it perfect menu for us. On our wedding day, I didn’t have to lift a finger. They set up all our décor and worked with all our vendors making deliveries. Lindsay, our bridal attendant, made sure we were never hungry and had everything we needed. The staff at The Mill is really beyond anything you could ever imagine. The venue is beautiful and so many places to capture amazing photos. The food is also out of this world! Most wedding venues make you add on all these things for cocktail hour. With the mill everything is included in the standard package, and the bar also includes anything you could ever imagine. The staff also made sure there was a bottle of my husband’s favorite whiskey there for our wedding day. The Mill is truly the best of the best. If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue that is stress free, choose The Mill!

From the moment we walked in the door, the entire team was so welcoming and equally excited for us. Liz greeted us in such a professionally-warm manner. I immediately felt a connection to her and the establishment. She did express that they would be making improvements. I couldn’t imagine The Mill being any better than what we initially saw. We still visited three other places keeping our options open, but nothing was even close to the standard at The Mill. The entire setting there is untouchable. The caliber at which they conduct their business is out of this world. There was no other place like it. The flowers, the lake, the cocktail-hour-exposed kitchen, menu, bar, the actual mill, the landscape; the entire property is impeccable. I could go on and on about every single inch of The Mill and how perfectly thought out and beautiful it truly is. What you receive at The Mill is worth more than what you’re paying. Vising again after a few months of renovations was the most amazing surprise we’ve experienced. The Mill is absolutely stunning. I felt like a princess entering a castle. I wish I could highlight one specific aspect of The Mill that outshines everything else, but truly, one thing was better than the next. When we sat with Ryan to discuss the food options, we were shocked to experience an actual dinner. Lindsay offered us dinner, drinks, and a tasting of each meal. The food is outstanding. The chef even came out and discussed options that were hard to make. We were so torn because one dish was better than the next. If we had to choose one thing The Mill does perfectly, and a big factor of all weddings, it would be the food. When we were just 10 days out, they ensured me that they would coordinate with our vendors so I didn’t have to worry about anything else. Every single correspondence with The Mill was reassuring and just validated our choosing this stunning venue. The day of our wedding, The Mill was absolutely radiant. The grounds at The Mill are out-of-this-world. The lake, the overgrowth of greenery in all the right places, is just breath-taking. Everyone was so friendly, understanding, attentive and extremely dedicated. For such a young group, The Mill’s team is incredibly professional. It was so easy to work with Ryan. Needless to say, our wedding was absolutely perfect. Thankfully, an extended cocktail hour into our night, Ryan was on top of everything. We were so busy dancing, drinking and laughing that we had no idea where to go or stand. He was right there for us when we needed, and seemed to disappear when we were partying. The Mill staff seemed like guests at our wedding; friends that were invited rather than stone-faced staff members only there to orchestrate an evening. I cannot say enough about The Mill. I am in love with the venue and everything it has to offer. My face hurt from smiling and my mind was totally blown the entire night, one minute to the next. Our hearts were full. The genuine love and appreciation we have for the whole experience can never be expressed truly into words. Nick and I fell in love again, a thousand times because of The Mill and their dedication to a flawless night.

We fell in love with The Mill before the renovations were complete and even though it was beautiful before, it looked AMAZING after! The space downstairs for cocktail hour is spacious and includes so many seats for people to sit as well as a nice outdoor area that is covered so you can spend time out there as well by the lake! The windows upstairs give you a beautiful view of the lake with so much natural light. The landscaping outside was beautiful so even though we had our ceremony at a church, we took lots of pictures on site outside. The bridal suite is gorgeous and they even have a groom’s suite as well! Also, be sure to feed the swans! We did that every time we visited and I have a few favorite wedding day pictures on the dock feeding them! The cocktail hour is like nothing we’ve ever seen and our guests are still talking about not only the amount of food but the quality of food as well! The amount of options available is nothing like what you will see in other places. We only wish we weren’t so busy talking to everyone so that we could have enjoyed more of the food! They also offer a variety of dinner options and even walk around giving guests the option to have a 2nd portion! We were so thankful that they offered a food tasting so we could try out everything before selecting our menu. It was a tough decision though because everything tasted so good! They packed up our desserts since we were too busy to eat them and the peanut butter explosion is definitely one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten! The service at The Mill is also something that is truly special. Beau was our Maitre D and was amazing! He was right there with us checking in and making my husband and I as well as our families feel so special and taken care of. The servers were so kind and thoughtful for everyone there as well. I don’t remember going to a wedding where so many guests talked about the staff and how genuinely happy they seemed to be there! The Mill thought of every detail and helped us along the way to make it such an easy process. You can tell that they take a lot of pride in providing you with the best service and we are so thankful for that! They were even willing to take a rowboat out on the lake in the middle of the reception to fix the broken water fountain! The Mill also has a Groom’s Suite which has a TV and video games which was perfect for the guys and ring bearer. I highly recommend the Mill ! And when we were confused and got lost on The many choices you need to make, the team at the Mill was great in taking the time to explain things to us, talk about different options and what other happy couples have done. They were flexible with timing, menu choices and even the day before planning/storage. They worked easily with our vendors to arrange their setups and everything. As you might expect, given its a north jersey wedding, there was a lot of food - but oh my, there was even more than expected, and it was all incredible. Our family & friends are still talking about it. The best food they have ever had at a wedding and also the most food (and that's before the dinner!). The tasting itself was quite the event and something we really enjoyed. On the day of, everything was so seamless, I'm not sure my wife or I had any worry about things not going to plan, or things we had to handle. The prep work with the team at the Mill was easy to follow and during the day of, the team was ever-present but at the same time always in the background not taking away from our special day. erfect! There isn't one thing we would change! The communication between Liz, Ryan, and the entire staff made our day flawless. There wasn't one thing we had to worry about once we walked into The Mill because we knew it was all taken care of. Our guests have been raving about the food since the wedding! Everything from the cocktail hour through dessert was delicious! Every option they had on their menus were amazing and it made it hard to pick our final menu because we knew it would all be well received! Aside from the food, the venue itself is gorgeous. We had our ceremony inside so we were able to take full advantage of the lake view which made a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony pictures. The new renovations they did are beautiful!! Our guests loved the homey feeling of cocktail hour with the fireplace and pool table, and loved the modern but elegant feeling of the ballroom. We have nothing but praises for The Mill, Liz, Ryan, and the entire staff ! They truly made our wedding day the best day of our lives!
