The Mill Wine Bar & Event Venue

Everything was set up perfectly and the staff was very kind and awesome! The venue was beautiful and my guests all had a great time! Wonderful atmosphere, even cigars for sale to celebrate!

I hosted my wedding at The Mill on 10.6.18. It was the greatest day of my life!! I knew it was the place for me from the beginning. The venue was never in questions. The entire event staff was overly attentive and made sure every request I had was seen too. They also helped me through some of the details I didn't even know how to manage. The provided me prices for their rentals but wasn't pushy for me to get them through them, which to me was the best part. In the entire process you just have sooo many people hawking all their crap they want you to get through them and they are aggressive about it. So it was refreshing that The Mill laid it all out in black and white and let me make the choices. And the things I added on last min she handled perfectly. Of course now let’s talk about the rain.. I knew it was going to rain weeks in advance. But truly part of the beauty in renting The Mill was that it was never a problem. Between the roof over the pavilion, the ceremony being inside, and the silo/porch are we were all set. The day of when the temperature dropped and the clouds moved in, Emily was right there to help get the fire pits uncovered and started up. Between the rain and the gas heaters it was absolutely romantic. The scene could not have been set better. Garden lights hanging low, good tunes floating in the air, and booze flowing freely... Truly a blessing of a day! Emily B. the director of event, I cannot say enough about how wonderful she was. And if she was ever stressing, she never showed it. She was incredible and delightful and I couldn’t have done it without her! If you're getting married in Abilene there is no debate. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING compares!! The Mill staff was so accommodating and worked so diligently to ensure our wedding day went off without a hitch. Heather is incredible to work with and made sure every decision was made with the intention of making our day extra special. Even though it started out at 102 degrees and ended to a massive thunderstorm, the venue was beautiful and absolutely perfect. Our Harry Potter-themed wedding was as magical as I dreamed it would be and The Mill made all that possible!

I had my rehearsal dinner here and it was perfect! The simplicity and style of the private room made it very easy for decorating. We had 10 round tables for seating, several tables on the side for other decorative purposes, and a projector screen to show a video. There is also a side room that we used for the buffet line. The managers were very easy to work with throughout the process. It was a wonderful and memorable evening!
