Located in Downtown Redlands, CA, The Mitten Building is a former factory turned cosmopolitan wedding venue oasis. Brick walls and visible beams demonstrate a loft-style design while the carefully restored building provides wedding guests with comfort. Spacious and tastefully renovated, The Mitten Building inspires romance! Constructed in 1890 in downtown Redlands, this building is flowing with rustic, urban charm. Originally the Haight Citrus Packing House, it morphed into the Mitten Letter Factory until being abandoned in 1980. Acquired by its current owners, it was refurbished to the highest standards and opened as an events and floral business in 2000. Since then, they have been providing couples with a refined and exciting location for both ceremonies and receptions. Inside there are spacious halls for dancing and dining, as well as a quaint patio space surrounded by delicate blooms and profuse vegetation. Exposed brick is softened by the overhead presence of wood beams for a warehouse look. The overall atmosphere of the building is contemporary chic and antique. With this combination of design styles, the space exudes a timeless ambiance, which makes it amorous and ethereal. From their carefully selected menu using organic ingredients to their decor and layout, the building exudes natural elegance and quality. Within this former factory space, The Mitten Building has two amazing spaces that can accommodate parties of 25 guests to extravagant bashes of 730 guests. Catering and bar service are both onsite supplied by The Mitten Building, covering all your cuisine and libation needs. Their artisan meals use organic, free-range, local ingredients to ensure the highest quality taste. Various tables, chairs, and linens in a selection of colors are provided for the couple’s use. Additional utilization of the outdoor garden patio area for added venue space with our Summerbell Room. Twinkle and string lights, as well as tulle, are also available for rent to help couples add their own touches. Black wrought iron candles are among the ceremony decor provided for a continued industrial vibe.
