o worry about outsourcing catering, tables, chairs, or a day-of coordinator. We worked with Meg in the year leading up to our wedding, and she was so kind and easy to communicate with. On the day of, Kris was on site and she was incredible—a true rockstar who made sure our timeline flowed seamlessly. Staying at The Monastery guest house the night before was perfect. We got ready there in the morning, and cleaning up at the end of the night was a breeze since we could take everything back to the guest house and handle it the next morning. Getting married on a Friday added such a fun, European vibe—especially with our parade from Holy Cross Immaculata to The Monastery. The whole day felt effortless and magical. We did have a few unexpected fees toward the end, which was a little annoying, but not enough to take away from the overall experience. We would absolutely recommend The Monastery—it truly made our wedding day perfect!

Meg guided us through the months leading up to the big day with so much care, making us feel supported and confident in every detail. And Kris.. she was absolutely incredible. She had her hands on everything the day of, from the tiniest detail to the biggest transition, making it all look effortless. She even took gum right out of my mouth before at dinner. who else would do that with such grace and kindness?! Our guests can’t stop raving about how beautiful the day was. If you want a venue with a stunning space and a team that truly cares, The Monastery is everything.

Then, the week of the wedding, Kris Kellerstrass, was our coordinator and executed our vision perfectly. She kept us calm throughout our entire wedding day and never missed a call, text or email. The venue also provided us with a huge list of preferred vendors to work with AND has an in house chef. Our guests raved about the food selections and portion sizes - no one left hungry! My husband and I did not hire a planner, but due to the supportive nature of the Monastery team, we truly didn’t need one. We had multiple calls throughout the process and felt genuinely cared for every step of the way. The venue itself is also BREATHTAKING. If you’re considering The Monastery - this is your sign!! Do it, you will NOT be disappointed!!

eaking incredible. You do not need a wedding planner or a wedding coordinator at this venue. They are so detail oriented, they are so kind, they are so good with wedding day curve balls. They can tackle anything that is thrown at them. Ali made planning the day so easy, and Kris executed it FLAWLESSLY. They are some of the nicest people, and the easiest to work with. You will not be disappointed if you have your wedding with them. It is truly an all inclusive venue. You do not need to get food, you do not need to get extra uplighting through your DJ, you do not need a coordinator, you do not need to get bartenders or alcohol, all you need to do is just sit back and relax and enjoy your day, which is exactly what we did! Book them! You will NOT be disappointed!

We had such a fun time with our families at our dinner tasting, a few months before the wedding! Everything was so personable, from meeting the chef to Kris (day of coordinator) and Trevor walking around from table to table. The day of the wedding couldn’t have gone any better - this is where we really got to know Kris. She is not only one of the KINDEST souls I’ve ever met, but so so helpful. She calmed me down when I needed it, helped me navigate through things I didn’t consider and listened as we voiced exactly what we had been dreaming of. She made the biggest impact on our hearts and we are forever grateful! I still dream of the aged cheddar mashed potatoes! The chef's ability to provide a one-of-a-kind food experience is truly unmatched, making The Monastery an unparalleled choice for hosting weddings. The service staff was exceptional, working tirelessly and offering warm smiles that made us, as the guests of honor, feel truly special. The natural beauty of the building itself is enchanting and enough of a reason to book with The Monastery, but it's the dedication and top-notch service from every member of the staff, both administrative and service, that elevates The Monastery to a league of its own in terms of wedding venues. From my perspective as the bride, everything unfolded flawlessly- but I am fully aware that there was a tremendous effort behind the scenes to ensure this smooth and seamless experience. Doug Betz, the owner, made a strong vow to my parents during our initial tour years ago - a commitment to treat our wedding with the same attention as he would his own children's weddings. It instilled trust and admiration for The Monastery from the inside out. I can genuinely affirm that Doug and the entire team not only upheld this promise but surpassed it. My husband and I are confident that any couple who chooses The Monastery is in for a once-in-a-lifetime, smooth, delicious, and thoughtful experience.

Kris was an excellent onsite wedding planner, and having personally managed many large professional events, as Mother of the Bride, I didn’t have to worry about anything and could fully soak up the magic of our daughter’s wedding. We knew we wanted a location that was historic, beautiful, and could accommodate a large wedding and reception. I can’t recommend The Monastery highly enough.

Ali, Trevor, Doug, and Kris are the kindest, nicest, down to earth people and just the best people you will ever work with. They truly care about your special day and want every detail and the full day to be just as perfect as you want it to. From being able to rent out their airbnb that is directly across the street, to helping lead the procession up the hill from our church ceremony, to helping us bring in special alcohol for our signature drinks, to having the best wedding food you could ever imagine (including late night skyline), and to helping us bring our bourbon cigar bar to this life, this group really does it all to make your wedding day run perfectly. We cannot say enough positive things about everyone and this venue and would highly recommend to everyone to get married here!

I knew on wedding day we were going to be in great hands! It really took a lot of pressure off knowing that Ali was on top of everything. We received so many compliments from our guests on the venue, food, workers, etc. It is an absolutely beautiful venue but everyone we met and worked with made it even better!

If you’re on the fence of choosing the to spend your day at the monastery, trust me and trust them. They’re worth every penny and beyond - we really believe we had the best wedding ever, thanks to this incredible team!

Kris and Trevor were beyond helpful, present, and were consistently advising when needed. The list of vendors the monastery gave, provided us with stellar choices. The vendors we chose from their list, worked together with the venue wonderfully!! Everything was more than we could have hoped for. Kris is like a built in day-of-coordinator. She made sure everything was in place and running smoothly the day of the wedding. They made sure every request or wish that our daughter had was fulfilled. The wedding, and then flip to the reception was smooth and provided an enjoyable cocktail hour for our guests. The food was phenomenal, and the bartenders and servers were kind, classy and hard working. The entire presentation of the venue was tremendous. We cannot express how truly grateful we are to everyone at the venue for providing the most beautiful wedding and reception for our daughter and son-in-law. I'd love to give more than 5 stars!!
