ct that they take care of almost everything from catering to bar to music to center pieces and decoration in-house made planning so incredibly easy that even two busy medical students could handle it. They have a huge range of options and were extremely accommodating in terms of allowing us to customize things outside the usual packages. For things the venue did not provide, they were a great resource in terms of recommending businesses in the area that we could help. On the day of, the food, music, and decor were all wonderful, and I'm not sure we could have asked for more. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in the area.

Our experience was generally good overall. The day of we did not have too many complaints, but one of the biggest issues was that we did not have a sweetheart table set up for us t...

o sit after we did our entrance and first dance. We are still unsure why this was not set up before we arrived. Overall, the communications with Melanie were fine but at times we had to continuously follow up with her to get a response. We also had a completely different crew to assist us during the wedding reception, which would have been nice to know prior to arriving. We did not have any notice that Melanie, who we had worked with for all communications and preparation, would not be there both for the day before to run through any questions nor the day of the event. The day of coordinators were very helpful though and we had a good experience with them. We also learned from our guests that they were told the day of the event that the daiquiri machine was broken. Again, it would have been nice to know as the bride and groom that this option was not available for our guests. Overall, our experience was decent and the venue was good for the price point but we were not extremely blown away from our experience.

They made everything perfect and my work towards the wedding day was minimal because they handled literally everything. They were super flexible when we decided to extend the reception last minute. lanning process. While everyone always raves about our food, I am disappointed to read that ya'll just thought it was ok. As far as the DJ, I am very familiar with the exact situation you are talking about and the sequence of events that lead up it. I understand the DJ can be a tricky part of the puzzle because everyone has different taste in music. We are in the process of building DJ vendor options for our couples. I also give my couples the option to hire an outside DJ or even a band in case the DJ we hire is not a good fit for them. You and Rahmel are so sweet & seemed so happy and pleased with everything at the end of the night. ith Melanie throughout the whole planning period and she was FABULOUS. The best thing, I did not have to really do anything... planning was so easy, so stress free. 2 days before our wedding, I dropped off a few personal items that I wanted to display, and Melanie took care of the rest. When we walked into our reception, I was blown away. It was decorated so beautiful, everything was perfect! Our bridal attendants always had our drinks full, and made sure we had everything we needed all night. My guests are still raving about the gumbo and roast. I wish I could get married again and again, and each time I would have my reception at The Moore. Do yourself a favor and book this place!

My experience with the Moore and Melanie was amazing. It was a destination wedding which is stressful in itself but she was so responsive and accommodating that it calmed my nerves...

many times during the planning process. I tried my hardest Not to be a bridezilla but I did have specifics and a zillion emails shooting her way. The venue space itself was gorgeous and didn’t need much decorating at all. Their wedding packages included a lot such as table cloths, flowers on tables, candles, up lighting, DJ etc. We were fortunate that outside space was created so we had our wedding outdoors which was magical. Though I didn’t eat at the wedding due to excitement and partying, I had positive feedback from my guests regarding the food. From the very first contact to the very last, Melanie was super helpful and cheerful. Her customer service skills are A++++. Would definitely recommend.

rwards. The fireplace was gorgeous filled with greenery and flowers from the florist. The food was delicious (this was something else our guests gave us plenty of compliments on). It was also so nice to be able to eat in the bridal suite with only my husband before the reception. The courtyard is a beautiful spot to take pictures especially after the sun went down; those were definitely some of our favorite photos from the night. The parking lots has plenty of safe parking for guests. The staff was beyond attentive the entire night; we didn't even have to ask for anything. Melanie was SO helpful throughout the entire process and always responded in a timely manner. She was super sweet and a rockstar at her job. With the drinks flowing and the provided DJ playing music saying that everyone had a blast at the reception was an understatement. If your guests say it was also the best night of their life, The Moore is doing everything right. I couldn't think of any negative things to say about this venue and their staff even down to the smallest detail. If you want a beautiful wedding without having to worry about all the small details and many different vendors this is the venue for you! I would recommend The Moore 1000 times.

2021 at The Moore. To say that they were so accommodating is an understatement. From the minute I called and spoke to Melanie, I knew this was where we needed to be. She was extremely helpful and so understanding of our situation. Melanie went above and beyond to make things awesome for the family and the bride and groom. Their venue speaks for itself and was lovely and the food, it is absolutely the best. The employees who were the family attendants were amazing and helped so much the entire night. They offer so much to make your big day planning as easy and stress free as possible and make whatever you want possible. I had my beautiful ceremony/reception all in one space and it could not have gone more perfectly! The food was amazing and the bar is better than any wedding venue in the area. The bridal suite was a perfect space to enjoy some time with my husband after the ceremony. There is plenty of parking and the space is located in a safe area! The staff did an amazing job of checking on us all throughout the night. Only complaint is I wish I could relive the night over again! ave our reception downtown in New Orleans but due to covid-19 restrictions, we had to move our reception outside of the parish 2 months before our date (that we had been planning since 2018). Aaron was flexible, responsive, quick, and honestly the night was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better reception. Not only is The Moore gorgeous but we had so many fun extra things like a champagne wall, sparkler exit, beignets, a photo booth, and signature drinks. If you're reading this unsure of a venue to pick, THIS IS YOUR SIGN! Go with The Moore, seriously, you will be soooo happy you did! I cannot sing their praises enough. Incredible people and an incredible venue!!

change if we wanted to proceed with our wedding in October 2020. After stumbling across The Moore on Instagram, I sent them an email and prayed they were still available for our date. Amanda was quick to respond, and she was extremely understanding and welcoming!! My future husband, parents, and I were all SO in love with the space from the moment we visited. Amanda and her team blew us away with their professionalism, helpfulness, and positivity through the entire "re-planning" process just two months before our wedding. She customized a package for us, since we already had some of our own vendors. They made us feel completely at ease during such unprecedented, crazy times. The food, the drinks, the DJ (from The Moore), the setup, everything was PERFECT!!! I seriously could not have imagined a night so beautiful, but Amanda and her crew made it happen. Every single attendee has made a point to tell us after how impressed they were with our venue and how fantastic the food was. I refer anyone planning a wedding to check them out now because they really are the best in every single aspect!!!

ailable for our 12/12/20 date. Amanda is the kindest soul and took away every ounce of stress I had. When we had to change the reception the week before due to new restrictions, Amanda went above and beyond to make it work so we didn’t have to uninvite anyone that already RSVPd. They created an outdoor space with tents and the dance floor was outside but they made it beautiful and elegant. I had full trust in Amanda! Everything came out BEAUTIFUL and my now husband and I had the best time. The food was also so delicious!! Everything happens for a reason and if we had to it all over again, I would choose The Moore. They are nice people who truly care about your event and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! ay through all the hurdles 2020 brought us. She, was completely open to all of our ideas and allowed us to be creative to make our day, unique and memorable. The food was incredible, and plentiful. Noone left hungry, and every single guest that attended talked about our wedding for days after. The staff was courteous, and I truly couldn't be happier with the total outcome. If you're thinking about planning any event, definitely put this venue in consideration. You won't be disappointed.

ed out! The Moore has been recently renovated into a modern ballroom with classic touches. It has a large bar, fine linens, chandeliers, and a fireplace. The food was delicious, and the room looked completely stunning. The best part, however, is their wedding coordinator Amanda! Amanda is extremely professional and detail-oriented. Leading up to the wedding, she was always available for phone calls, emails, and meetings to discuss details. She listened to every detail and designed a plan for decorations, floorplan, and timeline. The Moore was so accommodating and really made our dreams come to life. On the night of our wedding, I was truly blown away! She went above and beyond with decorations and overall atmosphere. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it was! Everything was flawless from the food to the end of the evening when they packaged leftover food and cake for my family. If I could do it all again, I would definitely choose the Moore again.

ore for our September 26, 2020 wedding. We were initially impressed with the beautiful renovations when we first saw the event space. Equally impressive to us was the professionalism of Amanda as she gave us hope that they would be there for us . The room was absolutely gorgeous on the wedding night!! Everything from the linens, chairs, candle/greenery arrangements, floor plan ,and cake table were perfect!!! The food was also delicious and we received many compliments. They truly put in so much effort down to the last detail!! We also were impressed with how they packed up our things with care and sent us home at the end of the night with neatly packed food and cake. The team at The Moore gave us a fabulous night and it proved to be our silver lining in 2020 ! It was truly more than we could have ever hoped for and definitely our areas newest and best kept secret!!!!!

edding a true reality. Truly an Angel. Changing our venue so close to the date was nerve wracking to say the least but she put us at ease and handled everything with grace! We had an amazing wedding and one couldn’t even tell everything that went into putting this day together. Our wedding was flawlessly executed and Amanda is a large reason for that being the case. Our guests loved the food, especially the beignets and boudin balls. The Moore Venue is an amazing venue with a wonderful staff who truly will work to create a top notch experience for you.

ok care of everything! Literally all I had to do was show up and they did everything else! My bridesmaids and I were able to come to the venue hours before the wedding to get ready in the bridal suite and the staff checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. I couldn't have asked for a more delightful experience! OH! and the food was delicious!!

l night long!! The servers are friendly and efficient and I can't imagine you can find a better experience anywhere!!! The Moore was a five star experience all around and I know my guests would all agree. Everything was exactly the way we discussed and we provided transportation to our guests from St. Patrick's Church in New Orleans which was a short and easy drive. You will love this venue!!!!
