The Neskes

We are still in COMPLETE AWE of how incredible our wedding videos turned out! The moment we came across The Neskes work, we knew we had to hire them for our big day. Melissa was so prompt at responding to our initial inquiry—and by prompt I mean she responded within minutes while working, just to assure me they were available!! Good vibes right away! After our scheduled FaceTime call, we immediately booked them. Unfortunately, our original wedding date in 2020 had to be postponed due to COVID. The Neskes allowed us to change our date without losing our deposit and honored the pricing we signed on our contract. We scheduled our new date based on a day they were available because there was no way we were going to lose them! On top of their A+ service and top notch work, Melissa and Steve are truly just amazing people! We felt so comfortable with them and completely put our trust in them to capture our day!they did not let us down! Not enough good things to say about this gem of a couple. We will cherish our videos forever—and will forever be grateful that we crossed paths with The Neskes. Our experience was flawless! Thank you both so much for being so amazing and flexible with us. We love you guys so much!

The Neskes were incredible. They are very professional, fun, hype you up, stay on track, and just make you feel so comfortable. They really know their stuff! I felt like I had known them forever and could be friends with them outside of their profession. They are just so easy going and nice- but get the job done. They went above and beyond making me and my husband feel comfortable, calmed my nerves, and just loved their energy all around. They are seriously the best and I HIGHLY recommend them!

Where do I even begin?! I can not recommend The Neskes enough - they absolutely went above and beyond and completely blew our expectations out of the water. Melissa and Steve are so incredibly talented, kind, and have a way of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. The quality of the videos they provide is so next level, it feels like watching a movie trailer every time we watch our film. The investment was worth every penny and more, and I truly feel like hiring them was the best wedding decision we made. We get to relive the day (it truly does go by in a blink) as often as we want, and it feels just as magical due to the time and attention Melissa and Steve put in. We had so much fun with both of them, that we hope are paths cross again soon. These two are the best hidden gem!

I fell in love with The Neskes and their editing style years ago when they video'd my friends wedding. I had secretly been stalking them on Instagram with the hopes that one day I, too, could have a beautiful video created by them. My day finally came and naturally the very first vendor I hired was The Neskes. THE FIRST. I think it speaks wonders about their talent level, creativity, and personality that I even changed the original date we wanted because they were already booked. I HAD to have them, y'all. And let me tell you, it was the best decision I made for our day (and the easiest). From the beginning, Melissa and Steve were on top of communication. There was an intro call and numerous emails (fast response times too) leading up to the big day. Even if my questions did not directly pertain to video itself, Melissa helped me think through everything I was stressing about! Timelines, entrances, song choice, you name it and she had an answer! They worked seamlessly with my photography team as well and it honestly felt like they weren't really even there on wedding day. This was nice, because my husband and I are both a little camera shy, so it was a relief we didn't feel like the center of attention all day (even though we technically were). If you are like me, you have watched every single teaser and highlight film The Neskes have created both on their Instagram and Website, and more than once for some. If you have not, you should. Immediately. You definitely think, "Wow, there is no way they can top that." And then they do. Over and over and over again. And then you get your own video and it is just so breathtaking you can't believe their creativity even extended that far! No video is the same, just like no couple and their love is the same- which is exactly why I booked them. I cannot recommend Steve and Melissa enough. They captured every moment of our day and made us videos we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Their editing style is timeless and we cannot wait to rewatch these as we grow old together. Spend the money and don't look back, they are worth every single penny. And if you are on the fence about videography in general, go watch their videos and talk yourself into it. Video captures your love, the memories from your day, and the feelings you go through throughout more than photos ever could, especially when it is captured by The Neskes.

You won’t regret this!! I lucked into finding them, and I promise if you will feel the same way. Steve and Melissa are amazing and everyone at our wedding loved them. Check out their highlight videos. We got ours 2 days later and had me crying ugly tears. They find a way to capture the moment and make you look like a movie star without you knowing they’re doing it. Melissa was honestly my favorite person out of every vendor for the whole wedding! (No offense Steve:)). Any random wedding question you have she knows the answer! Truly couldn’t have had a better experience. From the initial FaceTime all the way to the wedding they were fantastic. They’re super fun and upbeat, I’d invite them to my next party just to come as guests. 10 out of 5 stars. Just do it!

You need to book them as your videographers! Run don’t walk. Randal and I were initially not sure if we were going to have video, but we are so thankful we changed our minds. We got recommendations for video from our photographer, and after we watch theirs I was sold. No other wedding videos compared. They are some of the friendliest vendors you will have. Steve and Melissa really got to know us throughout our engagement. On the wedding day, they were so sweet and energetic. Honestly they felt like guests at our wedding. They blended right in. Three days after our wedding, they sent us an out of this world highlight video. Our friends and family can’t stop watching and raving about it. The highlight video truly is a reflection of our love story, of the love that our friends and family have for us, and how perfect a day it was. We will have this fun video to look back on. We are so excited to see more from them! My husband and I feel like we gained an amazing video but also friends. One of the best things you can do for your wedding is hiring them for videography.

Where do I even begin? When my husband & I first started wedding planning, we weren't even certain if videography was a must-have for us. But after a recommendation from our (equally brilliant) photographer and viewing about 30 seconds of one of their videos - which promptly reduced me to tears in the middle of work- I knew The Neskes would be a can't-live-without vendor for us. The Neskes create magic. They are somehow able to distill hours into minutes and seconds, capturing each couple's individual story, raw emotions and sheer joy. Every video is so uncannily representative of each couple, you feel you know their entire journey; they are somehow able to make each video distinct, yet so undeniably representative of the Neskes' unique style. Their videos are actual cinematic works of art - they capture that sensation of seeing flashes of your life as if you're watching your own life story on the big screen. From the carefully selected music that somehow seems to describe your innermost feelings, to the rapid bursts of moments - looks, laughter, tears, cheers, unbridled celebration - that makes up your day, there is so much raw talent and passion that goes into their work. Seeing our teaser trailer mere days after our wedding brought back all those sweeping feelings we felt that day, so much so that we replayed that video well into the night. Each re-watch uncovered some tiny moment we missed on the previous watch, and it was amazing to be able to rediscover the day every time. Even better, though, are Melissa & Steve themselves. There's a reason every review mentions that the Neskes are their new best friends, and mine is no different. They are the kindest, funniest, most calming and generous presence you could hope for (and they happily share their snacks with you when you start feeling peckish). Melissa was my sounding board throughout the entirety of my wedding planning process - until she became my every day sounding board. So responsive, kind, comforting and encouraging, it is unbelievable that such talented people are also such amazing human beings. And we are eternally grateful for their talent and presence in our lives. Practically speaking, they make the entire process so easy - it was oddly comforting having just one package to choose from, knowing we would get them for the entire day and wouldn't have to choose what kind/how many videos we would get at the end of it. I cannot wait to see what they've created for our long-form and documentary videos. But knowing that we get to relive the speeches, the laughter, the joy, excitement, trepidation and tears through their discerning and creative eye(s) is truly such a gift.

Wow. That's almost all I can say about Steve and Melissa because they are seriously just THAT amazing. I looked at a few videographers and when I found them I just knew that I HAD to work with them. What they create is so unique in the industry and so incredibly beautiful. They're able to capture so many precious moments and spin it all up into a video that literally brings me to tears (ps. I haven't even seen my full video yet and I want to cry already). But yes I did cry to a lot of videos of complete strangers on their website. They were with us the entire day and I couldn't have asked for a better team, they really made our day that much more fun and special and I just can't recommend them enough! They worked incredibly well with our photographers, and knew exactly what they wanted to capture. With so much going on the day of, it was great to have them driving/keeping up with the pace in order to squeeze as much as we could out of the precious hours and minutes. You could see the creativity pouring out of them as the day went on and they discovered more of the venue. We're just DYING in anticipation to see everything that was captured. They are an absolute joy to work with, Melissa literally responds to emails within 2 minutes. I don't know how she does it. Beyond that, their work speaks for itself. Just amazing. Thank you guys for everything!

Melissa and Steve ae seriously the best!! Words cannot express or fully describe how amazing they are. They are extremely talented, artistic, knowledgeable, and experienced. When looking for a videographer we fell in love with the style and attention to detail their videos had, but when we met them through our first video call we fell in love with them as people! They are funny, genuine, honest, listened to our vision, and made us feel comfortable as if we had known them for years. After the first call I already knew hiring them would be one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning…..AND IT WAS!!! Leading up to our wedding they truly went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. They were in constant contact with our photographer and planner, helped to schedule our day, and were available when we needed them. Our wedding day was amazing and their presence made it even better. They truly captured the raw, genuine happiness of our day and I can’t thank or recommend them enough!

Wedding prep is stressful, but picking a videographer needn’t be, especially if you’re reading this review. You’ve stumbled upon a true gem in the Neskes, and we highly recommend procuring their services. Truly, we’re beyond fortunate to have happened upon these two, and are incredibly grateful for their time and creativity. Knowing our wedding lasted just a day, it was paramount we hired a quality videographer to encapsulate the memory. In essence, we made it a priority to hire the Neskes, and we’re so glad we did! The Neskes produced for us a Wedding Film — alongside a teaser and documentary — that left us awestruck and exceeded our wildest expectations. Their value cannot be overstated and we absolutely recommend them for your wedding. tl;dr: Easy going, excellent work product, and truly a hidden gem.

I fell in love with The Neske’s videography style the second I clicked on the first video I ever watched of theirs and then knew I HAD to have them shoot our wedding as I continued to stalk their work. After our skype call with them, it was a done deal and we were signing the contract. They are genuine, down to earth, kind, good people. Who wouldn’t want people like that at their wedding!? Melissa and Steve are not going to give you a cookie cutter wedding video, they truly get a feel for the couples they are shooting and create unique works of art for each wedding. When we watched our Instagram teaser for the first time my jaw dropped at the song they chose and it made me cry because the lyrics were too perfect. After watching their work you may think that your entire wedding you will have to step away to get all these shots and special moments (at least I thought that and was nervous the video would take us away from the actual event) but that’s not the case. Melissa and Steve work so seamlessly through your wedding timeline and find little pockets to get amazing shots and then they are just there in the mix capturing everything without you even noticing. They also took time to mingle with guests and be part of the whole experience which I thought was so sweet of them. They were so easy to work with and their personalities were a perfect addition to our wedding experience. They also worked really well with our photographers who they had never met before! I was actually really bummed when our wedding was over and it was the one and only time I would get to hang out with these two! They are just such cool and chill people! Thankfully, I am the matron of honor for a wedding next year so I have convinced the bride to hire them. Of course, my intentions were that they needed to have their wedding captured by The Neske’s but my hidden agenda was to get them back out to California so we can all hang out again. They are seriously such a dream team and are total COUPLE GOALS! Seriously - incredibly talented, have the coolest job, are so much fun to be around, have the cutest puppies (they made appearances in our skype call), they have great style (two of the best dressed at our wedding for sure!) ... do I need to keep going? The investment here is WORTH IT!

Melissa and Steve were so awesome to work with. If any of you are hesitating in hiring a videographer, please don’t! We can’t say enough how grateful we were to have Melissa and Steve on our wedding day to capture it all. Not only are they the most down-to-earth and talented people, they are extremely unique in the services they provide! They don’t charge for traveling fees or put a limit on your coverage. They’re there for how long they need to be and that made us feel truly appreciated for. From the work they’ve already showed us, we’re already so impressed. We highly recommend hiring Melissa and Steve for your wedding!

What can we say!? If you haven’t already booked the Neskes as your videographers yet, do it NOW! Melissa and Steve blew us away from the start. Both of them are so professional, know their stuff, and were incredibly fun to work with! Even in the in between moments of the wedding, they were there fully present and made everyone feel so comfortable. They walked right in with awesome energy that it was infectious to all. Not to mention they are so cute as a couple and love on each other and their clients even from behind the scenes! The Neskes gave us everything we wished for and beyond. Our wedding videos will be cherished forever. I still get tears watching them over and over and can’t believe they made such a special movie about our love story! Don’t even second guess it. You found your videographer. BOOK THEM NOW! And in all honesty, Melissa and I would be best friends if only we lived closer. Thanks for being so awesome and giving us the best memories!

First off, Melissa and Steve are two of the most genuine and kind people we’ve ever met. From our first Skype call, to having them in Philadelphia for our wedding (which was all in three weeks since we didn’t plan on hiring a videographer) - they were a pleasure to get to know and to work with. With a background in production, I struggled to find a videographer that I loved locally, and had given up, but after seeing one of their :60 second teasers I told my then fiancé that we had to hire them immediately (so dramatic), and he agreed. They are brilliant storytellers. Their work is authentic to every couple, and the quality of their work can’t be compared to others in the industry. I am definitely a control freak and after seeing their work, I was completely at ease because I knew they would nail it, and nail it they did!!! We were blown away by our videos. We didn’t have one comment, we only had compliments. We didn’t ask to change a thing. They picked everything even down to the music and it was all perfect. Everyone who has seen our teaser and longer form video raves over how amazing they are, and how “It’s the best wedding video they’ve ever seen.” I guess we’re partial, but we’d have to agree. We love our videos and we love the Neskes. They told our love story in the most beautiful way, and we will be forever greatful. They are gems, and you should hire them immediately!!!!!!!!!

Trust me on this one! We searched for a long time for a videographer that wasn't cheesy... something that could unique. We were up late at night and was literally about to settle when we came across the Neskes. We watched a couple films they had of previous weddings and immediately I said to my fiance at the time "Dude, I love them. Can we do this?" We had a certain budget but when we found The Neskes....we basically said "f*** it, they're worth it!" lol That's that. Steve and Melissa are a husband/wife dynamic duo. They're with you literally all day with no time limit, so the investment in them is totally fair. Steve and Melissa were so chill and such a joy to work with. You want unique and artistic, you'll freakin get it! I could go on and on. Stop worrying, and contact them. You wont regret it.

n amazing couple who captured our wedding day beautifully! This power duo was absolutely the best wedding videographers we could have asked and wished for. We did our fair share of researching before choosing a videographer and they surpassed all of our expectations. They responded professionally and quickly, gave excellent advice throughout, very patient with us and our cultured wedding ceremony and reception, and truly worked as a team to capture the best for us. They were a pleasure to work with and so flexible throughout the entire process. When problems or change of plans presented itself they were able to adjust quickly without compromising quality. As a typically bride, I wanted all the small and big moments captured and they did so in such a way that I re-live my wedding day every time I watch the videos. I can not emphasis how much we would recommend The Neskes to anyone and everyone for their big day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you both so much!

Look no further for a videographer. XO Creative is the BEST there is. They are now in Houston, but I found them and booked them when they still lived in Los Angeles. (Sidenote-they will travel). Where do I start? Melissa and Steve are beyond amazing. I am a former news reporter and producer....so I was a little picky when trying to book a videographer. But when I found XO....I knew immediately. Their style was similar to my photographer's, they have a TV Background like me and they were in my budget! It was a not a hard decision. In fact, I would have moved my wedding date to have these two be available to film it. Luckily they had my date open! During planning, booking and signing the contract, I feel like Melissa became my new BFF. She is so sweet. They showed up the day of and I felt like, oh, my BFF Melissa is here to video. GREAT! It was a natural process working with her and they made our day so fun and easy. Melissa and Steve were ON TOP OF IT!!! It was fun working with them on my wedding day, no added stress at all and they are so worth it! We saw our teaser THE VERY NEXT DAY! How about that for quick service. Ok. I will first say that my husband and I were looking for quality and value. I think we can all agree on how impossible that is to find in Los Angeles. Hell, in California. THE MOMENT I stumbled across XO Creative, I knew they were it. We got married January 24th in Eagle Rock. While our family + friends made the day wonderful, many aspects of my wedding were a NIGHTMARE because I planned the whole thing on my own. So many things went wrong in regards to the hired professionals, (Caterer started serving 20 min after we arrived, food was UNDERWHELMING, wedding coordinator was a MESS, Couldn't play our slideshow because the projectors were blocked by the chandeliers, friend forgot to learn the song I was supposed to surprise my groom with, etc.) and even things I didn't expect to go wrong, did. To my despair, even the photos were terribly lackluster. I was so relieved once the wedding was over, and my last prayer was, "Please, PLEASE if nothing else, let the video be awesome." Well we received the highlight reel from Melissa the day before yesterday, and I nearly CRIED. It was perfect. My husband got foggy eyed when he saw it. The moments they chose to summarize the day were just beautiful. Everyone we have shared it with is in love with it. From the beginning stages of planning, their flexibility and prompt responsiveness to the wedding day, they hit it out of the park. They arrived punctually, were so wonderful and professional, I hardly realized they were there. ExceptionalExceptional quality for the price. There was only one little thing about the highlight reel I didn't like, and they sent me a new version the next day. You guys have given us such a beautiful gift that we will treasure for years to come! I don't remember if I gave them a hug or not, but If I ever see them again, I'll be sure to. ❤❤❤
