The Oasis is a wedding venue located in Austin, TX. This elegant property offers panoramic views of both Lake Travis and the nearby Hill Country. The dedicated team aims to provide you and your beloved with a milestone celebration you will treasure for years to come. The Oasis’ owner, Beau Theriot, has been the organizational force behind the property since its establishment almost 40 years ago. He and the staff at The Oasis can provide a variety of options for your milestone event, with both indoor and outdoor events spaces to choose from. For example, you and your partner can exchange vows in the venue’s outdoor Top of the Oasis deck area. This serene location with glistening lakeside views provides an idyllic backdrop as you say, “I do”. Post-ceremony, you can enjoy a lavish cocktail reception at the adjoined Palm Court, an outdoor space offering capacity for up to 200 guests. After some mingling and light refreshments, you and your loved ones can proceed to one of many reception rooms. The largest and most popular of the property’s offerings is The Starlight Terrace, which comfortably accommodates up to 400 people. This spacious room features a large dance floor, retractable roofing, and glass-paneled doors, allowing ample natural light to flow throughout the space. Alternatively, Sunset Villa, Lone Star, and Lakeside Terrace are ideal locations for more intimate celebrations and can facilitate from 25 to 100 guests. Each reception space features a private deck for guests to enjoy stunning lakeside views. For convenience, separate get-ready rooms, parking facilities, and wheelchair access are all available onsite. Wedding coordinator Beth and her team at The Oasis aim to provide you and your guests with exceptional service on your special day. A variety of wedding packages are available and can be personalized to suit your needs. The staff is also happy to manage the setup and teardown of event areas. Included are event rental items such as tables, chairs, and linens, along with lighting and audio equipment. The staff can also assist in the hiring of items such as photo booths, decor, and additional lighting. You and your guests can enjoy the creative culinary team’s talents for your event menu, and specific dietary requirements are also accommodated. Catering styles include buffet, family, and plated dining options, and delicious hors d’oeuvres can also be served during the cocktail reception. s in constant communication with me and made everything run SO SMOOTH! I probably emailed her over 100 times and she always answered every question I had in a timely manner! She is very experienced so she was able to suggest things to us that just made sense for our wedding day! I was seriously not stressed the entire time leading up to the wedding because I felt so confident in The Oasis and Beth! And don't get me started about the actual day.. she went above and beyond to make me and my husband feel comfortable - asking us if we needed anything throughout the entire morning/afternoon leading up to the ceremony. She even put on my 5 year old sons boutonniere when I was on the struggle bus! We were in the Sunset Room and I LOVED it! ding day coordinator, Beth, was so easy and straightforward, the food was amazing, and overall the event was perfect. The bridal suite is like an entire apartment, with kitchenette and bathroom included. The groom room was convenient but tiny. Beth and her staff were life-savers when it came to the day of. Make sure you have someone in the family/friends as back up who knows what's going on and to inform your family ahead of time if they're walking down the aisle ahead of the wedding party -- the only hiccup we had was getting the get-away vehicle to the front for our exit, and our grandparents and parents had already sat themselves before the ceremony began. Everything else was lovely and so relaxed and I would absolutely recommend their venue and services to those in the Austin, Texas area getting married!

he day of our wedding I was stressing about all the things I had to do, but Kelsey assured me that everything would be taken care of and that my only job was to relax and focus on me. She was not kidding. Everything was better than I could have ever expected and every time I asked Kelsey about anything her response was "It's already taken care of". Those words have never sounded better than on my wedding day. I would recommend this place to everyone, it is beautiful and they can accommodate just about anything from size to decor! I am gluten free along with several of my guests, we didn't have to worry about any of the food or cross contamination. I had a few special decorations that Kelsey put out in such a beautiful way. The view is spectacular, all of my guests said how incredible it was. Everyone was out on the deck taking pictures and just enjoying the view. We had our event in the Lakeside Terrace room which had gorgeous views of Lake Travis. We were able to visit the grounds a few times before the wedding to help us get our game plan down. They offer day before drop off of any items we didn't want to bring the day of if the venue is not booked, we were lucky enough to get that time, it worked out perfect! Any request that we had they were on top of it right away. The day of the wedding we were able to just relax and enjoy the day since the work was already done. I cannot believe how CALM I was compared to how horrified and a wreck most of my bridezilla friends were. Kelsey made sure we covered all and any details so that the day of the wedding could be enjoyed and not stressed. I appreciated that about her. She is very caring and VERY personable. It is unbelievably affordable for a bride on a budget. The Oasis offered inside catering which went over amazingly well. We shopped around and there were a lot of bad reviews for other vendors or it wasn't cost efficient for what you wanted. My guests, my husband, and myself were very pleased with the menu. My wedding pictures turned out great even though it was raining all day and there wasn't a sunset. But the venue is breathtaking regardless of weather. I still had my wedding on the deck of the Oasis and it was absolutely beautiful. wish I had a Kelsey or Sam in my everyday life! Due to the bridal suite being booked for the day of I had issues finding a close place for me and my girls to get ready. Also, we wanted somewhere close on the lake to spend our first night together and the place I was working with was too flighty to be reliable. Kelsey was there yet again to save the day. She spoke with the owner and they allowed us to rent his one bedroom apartment next to The Oasis...the place was amazing and made the day just that much more memorable. Kelsey and Sam made the day easy and relieved any stress I could have experienced with forgetting numerous things in the apartment but they retrieved everything without hesitation. They also were my brain during the entire night and I never had to ask for anything since it seemed we were one brain sharing our thoughts. The venue and the staff were amazing is all I can say for The Oasis and we wouldn't change a thing about our day.

iled for months as an out of town bride and she was very responsive to my ideas and ever changing (increasing!) guest count. The vendors she recommended all turned out to be great as well. The bridal suite was definitely worth it, to have a place to get ready and the Top of the Oasis was picture perfect for our reception and ceremony. There was only one hiccup in my mind for the night. There was a wedding going on in a room next door at the same time as ours, which is no big deal. The DJ next door and our DJ agreed they would begin reception music at the same time so as not to interfere with each other's ceremonies. The DJ next door did begin music during our ceremony and it was distracting to me as the bride. My husband, bridesmaids and very few guests noticed it, but the detail-oriented bride did. It was no fault of The Oasis and just a minor annoyance in the grand scheme of the night. The staff during our event was top notch and all of our guests commented on how delicious the food was! Highly recommend the Top of the Oasis room for an elegant and fun wedding location as well as the staff at The Oasis. My only advice for future brides is to discuss the timing of events going on around you in advance, but you'll be in good hands with The Oasis!

The room was laid out exactly the way I envisioned, the food was delicious, and they made sure to remind us about our schedule, but were flexible when photos took longer than expected. Don't even get me started about the sunset... it is the most breathtaking view I have ever seen. It doesn't even feel like you are in Austin. All my guests could not believe a place like this existed at the Oasis and it can only been truly appreciated in person.

e went out of her way every chance she got! We had a wedding of 215 and used both the bars in the Starlight room. The Oasis staff was on top of their game and really did a great job. They set up the tables in the Starlight room and set up all the decorations I brought for them. I even brought lights to decorate the pillars in the room and the manager Adam volunteered to put them up! The food was out of this world good! We had a plated meal of 3 different choices and I highly recommend the plated meals at the Oasis. Kelsey and her team just went above and beyond, from helping to call all my vendors to being so accommodating with all my questions. I would text Kelsey and she would answer within a few minutes and always had the best attitude no matter what my concern was. Kelsey made sure I was taken care of in the bridal suite on the day of, and made sure my husband and his groomsmen were taken care of. Kelsey was just there for everything! I'm just so impressed! The Oasis was the perfect venue for my rustic texas style wedding, and was the perfect spot for beautiful pictures! From the first day I met Kelsey to every meeting with her, every call, the decorations, the food, the bar, her staff, the wind, the chairs, a vendor of mine showing late and with the wrong person, to my groomsmen running around at the last minute trying to find the rings...Kelsey took care of everything. She even packed some cake and water to go in the car waiting for us when we left! Her staff was perfect and so was Kelsey...she really made my day THE PERFECT wedding day! I could go on and on, but not only am I impressed with The Oasis and their staff but Kelsey as a coordinator went above and beyond and was THE BEST person to work with! with a mini living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with several mirrors and plenty of closet space and of course, an iron and steamer (upon request)! We had the Lakeside Terrace for our reception and they helped us fit ~65 people! The Lakeside Terrace included an indoor area seating 60+ people, plus our own private deck with gorgeous views of the lake and sunset! We brought in our own decorations for all the table center pieces the night before and Kelsey and her team added their own special touches by adding some extra mirrors and marbles to make the tables look *that* much prettier! Kelsey kept us on track the entire evening and was VERY hands-on making sure everyone was having a good time and making sure my grandmother and all the kids were comfortable and happy. The food and drinks were great, we even had a few vegetarians in which The Oasis accomodated for - and my family RAVED about how delicious it was! Kesley even made sure that our two children were able to go downstairs outside on the deck to ring the "sunset bell!" They loved it and Kesley made them feel very special! At the end of the evening, Kesley and her team packed up all our things and had our car packed and waiting for us when it was time to go. If I ever need to throw another big party, I would not hesitate to book with The Oasis again! Like all weddings, the evening went by so fast - but The Oasis made sure to make it one of the most memorable nights of our life! :)

e Oasis staff. We met with the new coordinator and finalized all the details and she assured us everything would run smoothly. Her assistant who had been doing our planning with the old coordinator seemed to be very on top of things and knew what was going on, even though the new coordinator seemed less knowledgable. I thought we were very clear with all our requests and that everyone was on the same page with the details of the wedding.
We were married in the Starlight room and the venue and view itself are beautiful and hardly need any decorating at all. We picked The Oasis for these reasons and also for the fact that it was very reasonably priced and had such great reviews. We were also able to choose our menu and what type of alcohol we wanted served. We also thought it was very nice that they allow you to choose the colors of your linens and offer other decorations at no charge. All of these are good things about The Oasis, but unfortunately, I experienced a couple important bad things, as well.
The linens and napkins that were put on our tables for the wedding we not the correct color that we chose from the swatch book. They still looked okay, but it was disappointing that it was not the color I chose.
We also chose to ONLY have beer and wine served, but the bartenders still served liqour. When we told the new coordinator and bartenders to stop serving liquor, they continued to serve it but then charge people for some of the drinks (we also did not want this). This was very upsetting to me because many people got extremely drunk and my parents were also stuck with a very large bar tab. When I emailed the new coordinator, after the wedding, expressing my disappointment, I felt she was very ingenuine with her apologies and did not take much responsibility for the mistakes made. Instead, she acted as if we were the ones responsible for those mistakes. As a coordinator, I felt it should have been her job to know every detail of the wedding, and she clearly did not. Upon writing several emails back and forth, I was told that she was not the one responsible for the mistakes made, but I am still not sure WHO exactly was.
I would advise future brides to be VERY careful in going over final contracts and to have an absolutely certain clarity for all the words used on the contract.

may arise day of and your event was no exception. The bar tab for the evening was about $850.00 total, and we served from a limited bar as the contract stated. This is far below average on a 150 person wedding, as we see $2,000-$3,000 sometimes spent. As a team we have discussed the issues you have addressed and we again apologize that you have any regrets from the beautiful event.
The food and service was great. It was a really fun place for a rehearsal dinner.
