My daughter had a very specific vision for her wedding, and the day really was her dream come true. Actually, the day was even better than she had dreamed! First off, Amanda ran the rehearsal like clockwork. She made sure every person in the processional knew exactly when and where to walk, and she helped time it all down to the second to match the music cues just like my daughter had envisioned. This wasn’t a small thing because it meant working closely with the sound tech to make sure he had the correct cues and with the wedding party to make sure that they walked slowly enough and to the correct spot in the venue. By the end of the rehearsal, my daughter knew that what she had pictured in her head was actually going to happen. On the big day, Amanda handled the timeline, vendors, deliveries, setup, and decor with calm professionalism. Because she was involved early in the planning process, she was able to guide us through decisions that might have gone poorly without her input. I really credit her with how smoothly the day ran. And I mean smoothly... like untypically smooth. Everyone says to expect at least one or two hiccups on a wedding day, but there really weren’t any. OK, one groomsman lost his pants, and the toddler flower girls decided halfway down the aisle they’d rather turn around and go back. But those things ended up being funny, sweet moments, not problems. And honestly, if we had asked Amanda to go find a backup-pair of groomsmen pants, she probably would have (we easily got them ourselves). She was also already familiar with our venue, Hotel Haya, and with many of our other vendors, which made everything easier. One moment that really stood out was when the table setting décor. My daughter had made photo cards of herself and the groom with each guest which were supposed to go at the dinner tables where each person was seated. Some vendors were concerned those photos would get in the way of food or other table decor. Amanda asked me whether we wanted to stick with the plan. We did, and then she made it happen. I don’t know how she worked it out with the other vendors, and I didn’t have to know. That was a huge gift. My daughter would have been heartbroken if those photos had not been out, and Amanda quietly made sure that heartbreak didn’t happen. She wasn’t just managing logistics. She was also an advocate. She knew what my daughter wanted and made sure it was honored. Because of her, I didn’t spend the day answering questions or fixing things. I just got to be there, enjoy it, and smile for photos. If you are on the fence about hiring Olive Tree, let me just say this: do it. Amanda is more than worth it. And if you think you can’t afford it, I would honestly recommend cutting your guest list before skipping out on hiring her. Let Amanda do what she does best so you and your family can actually enjoy the day you have worked so hard to plan.

o be dealing with - scheduling, vendor communication, day-of coordination, linens, drapes, etc. - so many things I didn’t even think of until she brought them up. She is kind, extremely professional, amazing under pressure (like when we forgot the string to my dress and she found an even better one SO quickly), and executed the most amazing vision! I didn’t even believe our venue was still the River center. We were able to truly be IN the moment from the very beginning to the very end. I didn’t stop to do anything all night besides have fun! We were able to spend our entire day and night dancing and soaking up the whole time together and we didn’t have a single worry all day. Our wedding has received so many compliments from our friends and family and when asked what made it so great, they’ve said things like “it was smooth, there was no time we were all sitting around wondering what comes next, everything went right, and everyone was having a good time”. And for Amanda, I am SO GRATEFUL. Because none of that would be true without her!

Amanda had plenty of guidance and advice to offer to get started, and her vendor recommendations were stellar. I used her spreadsheets and lists constantly to keep myself organized, and her wedding day timeline is clutch. As a bride, it’s so overwhelming to plan this huge event with no experience, and Amanda was able to help me navigate it all and I loved having her honest opinion to help me make decisions. Throughout the whole process, Amanda kept me sane and I quickly felt able to trust her completely with our wedding day. I am a chronic overthinker and because of her I was able to relax and enjoy our wedding, fully trusting that she could and would handle anything that came up. She always had our backs and would resolve any issues that came up with vendors or deliveries and truly went the extra mile for us. One of the most challenging parts of wedding planning is the constant emailing back and forth with vendors and confirming information and Amanda was able to take a lot of that weight off of my shoulders. Our venue required a lot of paperwork from our vendors and Amanda smoothly tackled that all as well as made sure we met all of the venue requirements. She was always checking in on me and seeing what else she could take off my plate which I greatly appreciated. Our wedding day turned out so beautiful and ran so smoothly, and I can never thank Amanda and her team enough.
