The Olson Mansion was the perfect venue for my wedding. They were so kind and easy to work with. The entire venue is gorgeous and my guests were so pleased with the flexibility of having different parts of the evening in all different areas of the venue. We highly recommend :)
The Olson Mansion is an incredible venue! We toured it first and pretty much knew it was the place right away. You get SO much space for the price and it was one of the most affordable options we could find. There are so many unique ways you can stage your day depending on what vibe you want to go for. We initially planned an outdoor ceremony but weather changed that for us and it was still perfect. Adelyn is amazing to work with and answers all your questions kindly and professionally. This is huge when you're planning a wedding by yourself. The mansion is a great spot for before the ceremony and saved us due to the weather. Dog friendly too! Which was a huge win for us. It's not too far from many local attractions and hotels. We had the time of our lives, everyone partied hard, we danced the night away and the staff were great. This venue is awesome and I can assure you rain or shine, you'll have the most magical day.
We are so happy we ended up here!!! Our vision was pulled off without a hitch. Adelyn was the best to work with. This venue was a dream with all the open fields, ponds, arbor, etc. Many photo ops for your big day. Recommend for both ceremony and reception!
We are extremely satisfied with the Olson Mansion and the staffs. The venue is beautiful. Adelyn, our venue manager, was very lovely and responsive. Whatever you need, she will be there for you. Thanks a lot for supporting us on our big day. Highly highly recommend this venue!
We had a wonderful experience at The Olson Mansion! The venue is beautiful and speaks for it's self. Adelyn, the manager, was very responsive and tolerant of my "Mother of the Bride" constant questions and requests. She went out of her way to accommodate pretty much any request or need of mine. I highly recommend this venue for your event!
Such a beautiful venue! I helped a friend plan her wedding here and management was super communicative during the planning process. On the wedding day, they were really helpful with making sure we had everything we needed. The grounds are gorgeous too and the pictures came out stunning.
I definitely recommend!
I'd give zero stars if I could, this venue turned out to be complete garbage. We did a tour and ended up really liking everything, Adelyn said she would follow up with us but didn't, I had to reach out and say we were interested. Didn't even get to book it because Adelyn responded to my follow up email and said we can't get married there because we are a same-sex couple and they don't permit that due to their religious beliefs. Maybe you shouldn't waste people's time or lie saying you will follow up with someone when really you didn't want to in the first place. Maybe you should have it displayed on your website that you don't permit same-sex marriages so people like us don't get their hopes up or get excited seeing your venue. We now have to change our venue choice AND wedding date due to this. Not sure if you all realize this but it's 2022, there are plenty of churches that would "allow" us to get married in. You don't even have a church, its a barn. I'm glad we aren't having our wedding with you horrible close-minded people.
We used Olson Mansion for my daughters wedding this past summer. The venue is beautiful and was the perfect place for the wedding. The new manager, Adrielle was easy to work with, good communication and very accommodating. I would highly recommend Olson Mansion.
I am a day-of wedding coordinator, and recently had my first event at this venue. Adelyn is the new venue coordinator, and she was absolutely AMAZING to work with. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful, and was always available throughout the day if we had any questions about the venue or needed assistance. It was a gorgeous wedding day!
Omni Events Northwest loves working at the Olson Mansion!!They have done some really great updates. so many different options for ceremony and reception. Adelyn is a great addition to the venue:)

The venue is the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. That’s what attracted me to it in the first place. However, after I paid the down payment, the communication stopped. This was my fear, since I was planning the wedding from a different state. My wedding was beautiful, but if you’re looking for help, this is not the place to look. It’s a very “do-it-yourself” venue, and luckily I had lots of help from friends and family to pull it together.

The venue is beautiful but it had way to many extra costs! Expect to spend closer to $7 to $8,000. They charged extra for EVERYTHING. Including ridiculous fees just to set up chairs.... let alone another charge on top of that to move the chairs. Every hour added to the rental for the barn is an outrageous $300. It was disturbing. Also the venue was so disrespectful the actual day of the wedding. If your family and friends like to have fun/drink DO NOT have your wedding here. They were over dramatic and ruined the night for many guests over accusations. They even assumed a guest was “over served” who is someone in our family that has a disability and mental health condition. We were APPALLED. Overall we had an amazing day and loved the beauty of the venue, but unfortunately if we were to do it all over again we would not choose this venue again. I recommend finding a similar venue instead!
The venue is beautiful and is a church during the week/on Sundays. Unfortunately, moments like this (the wedding portion) was unprofessional and unorganized. The venue will nickel and dime you for every single thing- and there is no package or discount when you book it all so be prepared to end up spending at least $8-$10k. The options for catering are disappointing. One is extremely overpriced, one has average food, and the third is Makenna’s mom—which seems like a conflict of interest. My planner even mentioned on the unprofessional business. Our wedding was beautiful, but if you can find another similar venue then avoid the headache of working with moments like this.
We absolutely LOVED the Olson Mansion. Makenna was really great to work with and have on our big day. She worked to make sure that I did not have a worry in the world. Having the mansion before hand was really great to get ready in. Also, it poured on our day and we were prepared for that. Olson Mansion is great to prepare for if you might have rain on your big day. The barn is absolutely beautiful and made for some really great photos. It is a great property where you can get some amazing photographs.
We loved having our ceremony and reception at the Olson Mansion. It is a beautiful venue with a variety of spaces for your ceremony and cocktail hour. My one critique— everything seemed to cost extra. Extra fee to use the space we chose for the ceremony, extra fee to move chairs from ceremony to reception, extra fee for bistro lights. While some of these items were listed on the price sheet, it wasn’t detailed enough to actually provide enough information. The price sheet could have been explained more thoroughly. Overall, the communication of the venue coordinator could have been better. However, I would still recommend this venue to any bride, I just suggest staying on top of communicating with the venue and give yourself plenty of time to get those questions answered.
Makenna and her crew were nothing short of amazing! They made our wedding day the easiest it could have been, the venue was extremely flexible with our requests to make our vision happen. They offer a variety of locations for both ceremony & reception which makes it very nice for making it your own & not like every other wedding at the venue. I would highly recommend considering this venue for your wedding day.
I was in a wedding this past summer and Makenna and her team were nothing short of unbelievable. They went above and beyond leading up to and for the wedding! The wedding venue should cost way more than what we were actually charged. She was up front, honest, and exact on pricing and services giving us exact details up front for all of her amazing perfered vendors . We even made additional changes to the wedding and reception prior to which she was very responsive too and communicated additional prices immediately. I have referred several people to do their wedding with her, including my brother who is getting married there this summer and is coming with his fiancé all the way from AUSTRALIA!!!
My husband and i were married here almost a year ago! the process of planning was very smooth, i was able to contact Makenna whenever with all my crazy questions and she was great at getting back information to me. The venue itself is so beautiful, i was getting compliments on it months later! one of the best parts of having your wedding here is that it can be anywhere on the property! I had a large wedding and felt that i had plenty of options for rain or shine for the ceremony location. i had about 250 guests and we all fit comfortably in the mansion!
We booked the Olson Mansion for our wedding venue. Sadly we had to call off the wedding less than 30days after signing the contract with Makenna Martin from Moments like this.
I understand they have a no refund policy but the wedding date is in September of 2018.
They were very unwilling to work with us I even offered to help find someone else to take the date but they would not work with us at all. She even encouraged me to release the date as soon as possible so they could rebook it and retain more money.
As a wedding venue and a church I thought they would be more concerned about the couples involved rather than few bucks in their pocket.
Please be aware this is how they treat the couples they work with.
I wouldn't even give them one star. I never met Makenna until 2 weeks before the wedding I only met with her assistance which would be fine if the assistance had any idea what was going on, and kept promising services that they couldn't garntee. I was promised to be able to use a lot of different services that I was then up charged for after we had already put down a deposit. I feel like they took advantage of me because they knew that I had to get a wedding done and a really short amount of time.
Makenna never available, you can only text her and even then if it was a difficult question she would not answer for about a day or two. Do not go here unless you're willing to shell out an extra thousand dollars from what you were originally promised.
When I confronted Makenna about the things that I was promised like the price of lighting, the ability to use the golf cart to get from the Mansion to the barn or the ability to have either someone bring grandparents down the hill or us being able to drive them up next to the barn which, I was promised I would be able to do, I was told that there was a miscommunication between her and the assistance (which happened a lot) and she seemed to use the "prices are subject to change" in order to double the price of the lighting Tech. This place isn't worth the headache. I don't normally write bad reviews but, for the sake of future frustrated brides, please don't go here.
Beautiful venue and tons of perfect spots for pictures. Pretty affordable as far as barns go, however, most everything costs extra (set up, tear down, bridal room, ect. , so don't forget to add it all up first. Makenna is really helpful and overall loved the whole experience.
Historic and newly renovated barn gave me the rustic feel but had updated amenities. Gorgeous scenery made an epic backdrop to the ceremony that was held alongside the mansion.
I loved everything. Everything was handled with the utmost care. The service was excellent but not noticeable. Everything was thought of and provided but not in a noticeablke way. The view and the service we3re both amazing.
