The Orchard was absolutely amazing! My only complaint was with communication problems. My DJ needed to reach out to them to get some information about hookups and whatnot and even though he called them three times they didn't call him back until the day of the wedding. And as far as my communications I had one lady that was super responsive but then the other lady her and I were having communication issues. She was very nice and professional but planning a wedding is stressful enough much less adding in communication issues. That's literally the only bad thing I have to say though. The Orchard was integral in making mine in my husband's special day A memory that will last for forever. Making several memories in fact! I was at my wit's end with trying to find a venue that was fair in pricing and fair and accommodations. My husband ran across The Orchard and we absolutely fell in love. During the tour with Jennifer we had basically decided that we wanted to put our deposit down right then! She encouraged us to think on it but we really didn't need to think that much lol. We got back with her in 2 days and put down the deposit! I honestly feel like this is a little gem that I wish more people knew about. I will always recommend The Orchard and in fact I know two other people getting married and I have recommended The Orchard to them! The other thing that I thought was super cool was they let us do our engagement photos there free of charge. Many of the other venues that I looked at charged extra for your engagement photo session. If you're getting married please take a look at this place! You won't be disappointed!

The Orchard was our dream wedding venue! The whole team was such a pleasure to work with and so accommodating to everything that we wanted/needed for our wedding day. Our family and friends loved staying on property at the lodge and cabins. It made for a weekend full of love and celebrating! The pavilion was a perfect spot for our barbecue rehearsal dinner that gave our guest the true Texas summer experience. The ceremony space was a picture perfect lush outdoor space and everything my husband and I dreamed of for our wedding day. The reception area was a perfect size for our 200 person guest count for everyone to dance all night! Shaina, Lacey, and the whole orchard team were so kind and helpful throughout wedding planning and made the whole experience stress free!

An absolute dream venue for a wedding!!! Such an amazing staff to work with as well, and being able to rent lodging for family was such a great bonus

We loved The Orchard so much! It was the perfect solution to our “Goldilocks” problem- some venues provided too little in terms of the amenities we were hoping to find, and others require you to book too much in house. The Orchard was the perfect mix. They had all of what we needed, including the flexibility to customize the day to our liking. The staff is insanely kind and helpful and all of the available spaces are gorgeous. I wouldn’t change a thing about our communication through the whole process. We even spent the wedding night in the on-site cabins, which was sooo nice after such a tiring night. I couldn’t recommend this venue more.

This venue was excellent! Gorgeous building and property for pictures! Lovely people that are easy to work with! A bit expensive, but worth the price if it's something you can afford!

I found the perfect man for me and I wanted the perfect venue for our marriage ceremony. This venue is so beautiful! The staff is excellent - friendly and efficient. Shaina and Kevin were awesome to work with. The forecast for our wedding weekend was terrible, thunderstorms and possible hail, but the venue has so many options for your ceremony, it was not an issue. We ended up with a beautiful day and had the ceremony outdoors under the pergola next to the heart-shaped lake. Grooms cabin was a huge hit with the guys. Our out- of- town wedding party stayed in the cabins on property making it easy for them to get to the rehearsal dinner and wedding day festivities. Our family stayed in the Lodge and we gathered there with family and friends after the rehearsal dinner and after the wedding. The Lodge is huge and has lots of fun things to engage your guests. We loved being able to spend time with our family and wedding party without having to drive off the property. Can't wait to see our wedding pictures with the lovely orchard in the background!

The Orchard was beautiful from the first moment we saw it, and it was even more gorgeous on our wedding day. Shaina was so so kind, always met our needs, was easy to talk to. We loved staying in the cabins and at the lodge. I would HIGHLY recommend the orchard for your wedding or event.

Wow! I don’t know where to start but I will keep it short and simple. Planning a wedding was extremely overwhelming however the orchard provided us with the most exceptional and patient service ever! I was not afraid to contact the venue for any thing I needed. Not to mention that the place is literallybeautiful. So much land with such beautiful places to take pictures. We got so many compliments on our venue. The groomsmen had a cabin and the girls had a bridal sweet. The ceremony, cocktail, and reception were all in the same place so we didn’t have to jump to any other locations. It was just perfect! Highly recommend.

The Orchard is by far the most magical venue you can dream of having on your special day at. From the first time you step on their property you can feel the hospitality this place has to offer. Shaina Davis and their staff are spectacular in every way possible and they will make your special day run according to every detail you plan to make. You will have no regrets having your wedding day here!

I was so impressed with this venue as soon as we entered through the gates. This beautiful venue is tucked behind sprawling pecan trees, and surrounded by open fields which create the perfect backdrop for the pond. There are multiple ceremony and reception spaces on site, as well as a catering kitchen and an ICE MACHINE!! The venue provided so many extras that made our day special. The staff was very easy to work with and everyone was helpful, especially on the day of the wedding. If I were to have my wedding over again, there is no doubt I would pick The Orchard.

We couldn't have picked a better place. Our wedding date was the only day of the week that called for rain and cold weather and we hoped for the entire week that it would go away. The Orchard was prepared to change our wedding plan super last minute and supplied us with heaters so we could still have our ceremony outside. Our wedding day although not the way we expected it to be was still the best day ever with the help of the orchard!

This was a wonderful location and event venue for our perfect ceremony and reception. The team was so responsive and willing to go above and beyond!

My husband and I got married back in March. We fell in love when we first walked in for our visit at the Orchard. We knew immediately that it was our dream wedding place. It was such a BEAUTIFUL venue. They have almost everything you need to plan your dream wedding, from natural scenery to decors to beautiful cabins that you stay after an exciting celebration. Kristi was so helpful in guiding us with all the different vendors and her recommendations we needed to make everything seamless. All the staffs were amazing and so helpful during our big day. Our wedding was just as we imagined it all to be. It was so PERFECT! Most of our guests were amazed with the place and they said, “it’s a hidden gem.” We’re so grateful that god brought us to the Orchard.

The orchard in Azle, where we most recently had our wedding is a fantastic venue. One of our groomsmen had his wedding there before us and I knew we had a great time, but working with them was also seamless and professional. The bar staff that they provided were exceptional and all of our interactions were so helpful and accommodative. They also helped us stick to our budget and we used their various specials to secure rental decorations at a great price before our event. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a magical ceremony and reception.

Ever since my parents moved to the area, I always knew I wanted my wedding to be at this venue. As soon as I got engaged, I told my fiancé I knew where I wanted to have the ceremony. And the cabins/Lodge were the perfect getaway for our guests that had to travel from out of state. All of the staff were very accommodating and gracious when the pandemic hit and we had to reschedule the event twice. Being in PA school and having to finish planning the event, they were so nice and answered all of my questions. The Orchard is also a beautiful place to get bridal portraits done! So many options for beautiful shots. And my guests loved seeing the cattle on the property. Overall great place to have any event especially a wedding!

The Orchard is absolutely stunning and gorgeous! We were impressed with how well-kept the grounds are; they were impeccable. The venue immediately took our breath away and we had visited on a cold rainy day! This venue easily checked all of our boxes. We wanted a wedding with a rustic elegant theme and The Orchard fit into our vision perfectly. We loved how we could easily move our event from outdoors to indoors without losing any refinement. We were really impressed with the groom's cabin which was spacious and had a lot of amenities. Most of the other venues we toured basically had a closet for a groom's cabin, so the large groom's cabin was a plus for us. The rest of the venue also had a lot of great amenities. The prep kitchen was perfect for our caterer and the bar was in a central location. The plaza added a more casual vibe for our cocktail hour and was a great space for guests to mingle. The pergola, where we had our ceremony, was a perfect canvas for our florist to do her magic. The receptions hall was also spacious. We never felt cramped. We had about 124 guests plus our vendors and felt that we had plenty of room to do everything we wanted. The ability for the doors to remain open to the plaza helped with that. The venue really was the lynch pin that tied everything together. Our guests kept coming up to us letting know how impressed they were with the venue and couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous it was. The venue is reasonably priced for a venue in the DFW area. It is open vendor, which gave us the freedom to choose the vendors we wanted and to save money where we could. The downside was that we had to coordinate the majority of the event. We did have some difficulty with the planning and set-up process. Everything was emailed to us in pdf files, so it wasn't entirely online. There was some confusion and miscommunication as well when it came to the services they offered. There were very few descriptions of the services provided and the ones that were present were not very descriptive. We ended up having a lot of questions but had to email or call every time we had one pop up. This really added up overtime, so we just started to wing it. We think the process can be made more efficient and convenient if it was all moved online. Moving the planning process and set-up process online would also allow more space for clearer descriptions of the services offered. However, the staff was really helpful and did answer all of our questions promptly. We felt that the entire staff was friendly and updated any changes we made very quickly. After we had gotten through the planning process, we felt that everything ran seamlessly. Overall, we are so glad that we booked with The Orchard. Our wedding day was perfect and everything we had dreamed of. The Orchard worked really hard to make our day magical and they succeeded! We highly recommend the venue and hope to go back for another event some day!

Our day was a dream come true! We booked this venue about a year out from our wedding date and the communication and attention to detail from everyone was 100% spot on from the beginning. Kristi was our point of contact for majority of the time and she was so sweet. She recognized us and knew our names at open houses, when we would come tour randomly, all from our first meeting. Shania took over the month of to gather final details and I’m so thankful for her. She answered my 50000 questions quickly every time! I highly recommend the orchard for any event. From start to end, we were impressed with everyone and everything they had to offer.

Not only was is this a gorgeous property, but the cabins and lodge were a massive hit with my guest! Everyone is overly helpful and they truly make your vision come true! Thank you so much to the Orchard Crew, especially Lacey who helped change plans during inclement weather.

We had our wedding at the Orchard in October and everything went perfect. The venue is beautiful and the staff was so friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. The owner agreed to add a COVID section in our contract when we signed with them in February which was so important to us as we didn’t know what things would look like in October. Luckily we didn’t need to use it! We had the best experience and highly recommend this venue!

My emotions are high on this one because these people became family to me over the past two years and it truly is surreal not having a meeting with them next week or emails coming in and that honestly has my heart oozing out of my chest , this is how much I adore and appreciate this venue. Your wedding venue is the foundation for it all. Your wedding venue is where your hopes and dreams can actually transfer from your mind to a reality. Your venue is everything and when I say I struck gold with this one, well I struck more than just gold. This place was and is my sanctuary. No joke I have already been back twice this week just to feel and see it again. I know many people probably go back and visit their wedding venue throughout their years but this place- me and my family are already planning on booking family reunions, my wedding anniversary celebration etc that’s how important this place and these people are to me and my family. This place is not just a wedding venue they offer so much more and to Kristi and Ashley , I honestly have no words on what y’all have done for me , my husband and our families but thank you a million times over 💕

We rented out the cabins on the property for the weekend since we chose a Sunday wedding and it was a magical weekend. None stop compliments on how gorgeous everything was!! Truly breathe taking and all we ever hoped for.

This review is long overdue, but I had to share because we loved it so much. The Orchard is an absolutely stunning venue. We had so much fun and it was such an amazing day. The on-site cabins were amazing for our grandmothers to rest in before the ceremony and when they were ready to leave, and since it's so close, the people helping them didn't have to be gone from the reception too long! I looked at over 125 venues online and toured about 30 venues in person between the DFW area and the Hill Country, and as soon as we toured this one I knew it was the one. It was also great to have so many options for the ceremony location, and since I wanted it to be out next to the tree, we had a backup (on the porch) and a backup for the backup (indoor ceremony room - and if you choose the indoor option for your ceremony, you don't have to worry about flipping the room, since it's separate from the reception area)! I'm so happy we chose The Orchard and highly recommend it!!

The Orchard MADE OUR WEDDING! As soon as I drove into this venue I knew my (now) husband and I were going to be married there! The general manager Ashley is one of my favorite people I've ever met and is the best at accommodating whatever you need! Everything was so easy plus we had a ton of out of town guests so the lodge and cabins made the wedding more than just one day but a weekend! I cannot thank you Ashley and your staff enough!

I can not say enough good things about The Orchard! The staff was more than helpful and informative, especially while planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic. There were no hidden fees or surprises. The whole property is gorgeous. Having The Lodge and the cabins made it so convenient for getting ready day of and having all of our family and wedding party stay on site. I can not thank the staff enough for making the weekend go as perfectly as possible.

They were professional and also flexible! We planned our wedding in 9 days and they were soo helpful and willing to work with us as we planned outside of the normal timeline!! Loved working with them- it was a beautiful venue, easy to communicate and everything was done perfectly!

We also used Heidi as our Day of Coordinator and that was one of the best decisions we made! This is by far the best venue in the DFW area!! HIGHLY recommend :)

This venue was so beautiful!! We planned for a warmer day for the wedding and it ended up being 40°! We were more than taken care of when the unexpected would arise, and the wedding ended up even more perfect than expected. ❤️

If you haven't looked into The Orchard, you're missing out! The atmosphere is perfect for any type of wedding. This vendor has so many additional amenities that come with the rental, plus monthly specials including many upgrades, such as "ceiling swag" (which is absolutely breathtaking), cafe lights, outdoor lounge furniture, a portable bar for cocktail hour, etc. Everyone that we hired through the venue (bartenders, security officer, Photo Booth) was extremely professional and exceeded our expectations in all ways. The Orchard provided us with the best service, and all personnel were so helpful in any way possible. We had a couple of questions come up on the day of the wedding, and Ashley was there to fix and solve everything within minutes. Kristi is also amazing, and was our main contact person throughout planning. I, genuinely, believe that having this venue provided such a great atmosphere for our wedding, and would pick this place over and over again.

My wife immediately fell in love with this place. It’s literally the best place to get married! They support same sex marriages and did not treat us any different. The venue is beautiful all around. The cabins and lodge were also a hit to our family and friends and it was all so convenient. Kristi was amazing from the beginning to the very end! Every question was answered timely and professionally. All of their staff made our day perfect too. Kevin and the bartenders were just as amazing! We will definitely be lodge guests in the future!!

We loved our wedding at the Orchard. Kristi and Kevin were so helpful and responded to our questions with great expedience! We had a "Covid wedding" here, which changed a lot about our wedding that was out of their control. The Orchard was flexible and helpful during this time. High points: The Orchard is an older venue and thus very good at what they do - they've seen it all, gorgeous property, several different ceremony options so that you don't have to do a room change, can accommodate all sizes of weddings, cabins on site for guests nervous about driving at night/after the wedding. Other Covid brides should know: We had several guests who stated they would not come unless the chairs were "socially distanced from one another." The Orchard's policy on this was that they would set out 30% more chairs so that people could socially distance themselves, but if we wanted the chairs socially distanced, we would have to do it ourselves. This was clearly communicated ahead of time, so we were not shocked the morning-of, or anything like that. It wasn't ideal for my parents to be socially distancing chairs on the morning of the wedding when they should have been relaxing, but again, this was communicated ahead of time, so we knew it was coming. For brides getting married in a rainy season: Be aware that mosquitoes are a problem and prepare accordingly. Overall, we are so glad we had our wedding at The Orchard, and we will cherish our wedding day, Covid or not, for the rest of our days!

It’s was amazing ! Everything about the orchard was spectacular and, I couldn’t have celebrated my special day anywhere more beautiful! The cabins made everything less stressful and was a great plus . I also wanna give a special thank u to the bartender Amanda she was amazing and did a great job ! I loved every minute of it !

We recently were married at The Orchard Event Venue & Retreat and I must say our wedding was a dream. The venue was beautiful, the staff was so friendly and helpful. They truly worked with us to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. I wouldn’t chose another venue to have our wedding if I had to do it over again. We loved every minute. We also stayed at the lodge and I highly recommend getting the lodge with your wedding. Emails were always responded too and they went above and beyond to ensure we got what we wanted. Due to Covid our wedding had to be moved from our original date. We already had a weekday wedding, so this was not a difficult process. We were able to seamlessly move our wedding and lodge reservations to accommodate our wedding and remain safe. Our wedding day may have gone by super fast but we loved every second and we are so glad we chose The Orchard and it’s beautiful venue for our special day!

This Venue is Absolutely gorgeous!! On my wedding day the temp reached 107 degrees before the ceremony started and The Orchard made sure everything was perfect and comfortable for the wedding party and guests. I had the pleasure to work with Heidi as my wedding coordinator, she went above and beyond for us and made everything so much easier. We did a wedding package that included all the vendors. All of my vendors were amazing.

I literally do not have the words to explain how grateful we are to have chosen The Orchard as our venue. Even with planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic, Ashley, Kristi, Kevin, Lacey and the Owners were complete angels! We were originally suppose to get married on May 9th, 2020. At the end of March we decided to postpone to August 14th, 2020 (the hottest day of the year!) Even when everything else was so unsure, The Orchard made sure we would still have our perfect day regardless of the date we chose. Our Family rented the cabins and lodge for Thursday (rehearsal dinner) and for Friday (our wedding). This was such a game charger because we had everything and everyone right there. Since our big day our family and friends have done nothing but rave and praise how great our wedding was. This couldn't have been accomplished with out The Orchard and their team! I wish i could give the venue a million stars! Thank you so much for making our dream become reality!

We had our wedding on 7.31.20 at The Orchard and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is beautiful and the staff is amazing to work with and very professional! Kristi helped me through the planning process and would answer any questions I had almost immediately. My wedding was originally March 27, 2020 but this was right when Texas shut down and Kristi was right there to help me figure out a new date without hesitation which I am very thankful for! The day of our wedding Kevin was there to help us out whenever we needed which was very helpful. We rented the lodge for two nights for our rehearsal dinner and for the night of the wedding. It was the perfect place to relax with our family and friends. Our wedding party stayed at the lodge while some of our family stayed in the cabins all of which is on the same property as the venue. Overall The Orchard was the perfect choice for my husband and I. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

The Orchard was the perfect venue for our wedding, and they made sure our day turned out absolutely beautiful! They were so helpful in making the process of wedding planning go as smooth as possible. Kristi was my go-to person with everything, and she would reply quickly and answer any questions I had! Everyone there is so genuine, and it is so obvious that they want to be there for you and make your wedding day feel so special. They have a lodge and cabins on site which also made lodging so much easier on us and on the guests. I don't have one negative thing to say about this venue. Definitely would recommend The Orchard to everyone!!
