Our historic barn wedding venue, The Owls Nest, is nestled in the heart of Roy, WA, offering a beautiful setting on seven acres, complete with a seasonal creek. We provide both indoor and outdoor options, and with your rental, you have exclusive access to the entire venue. Our staircase leads to a charming loft, providing stunning photo opportunities and ample space for your wedding party. This loft, ideal for an indoor ceremony, spans approximately 1,600 square feet and can accommodate up to 130 guests. We have 20 benches available for seating, though please note that the loft is only accessible via a staircase and is not handicap accessible. We are excited to provide a well-equipped bar area that includes an ice machine (available for an additional fee) designed to comfortably serve your guests. The bar features a sink and counter for added convenience. Our breathtaking reception hall spans an expansive 1,900 square feet and comes equipped with 20 eight-foot rectangular tables, two six-foot rectangular tables, and 134 elegant white folding chairs, making it perfect for hosting catered events while providing ample table space and an excellent dance floor.
For couples, we offer two suites. One includes a charming courtyard for relaxation, a private restroom for convenience, and two elegant vanity stations for your preparation. This suite also features a lovely double mirror and a stylish display pedestal, making it the perfect space to start your special day. The other suite boasts a private restroom, comfortable seating, a table with chairs, and a convenient ice bucket for drinks. With ample space for everyone to prepare and look their best, we are dedicated to ensuring your special day is exceptional. We are thrilled to share that our barn venue also includes a kitchen space with a spacious commercial-sized fridge, a sink with counter space, and an additional countertop table. We take pride in providing two extra restrooms for guests, and the generously sized hallway between the bar and reception hall is perfect for accommodating food for guests. This area features a stunning long whiskey barrel wood slab table, ideal for displaying desserts, gifts, or a guest sign-in book.
Additionally, the barn door adjacent to the kitchen offers a picturesque exit leading outside, which is perfect for a grand exit during an outdoor wedding ceremony in front of the charming barn.
