The Pavilion at Mixon Farms was a phenomenal one-stop-shop wedding venue with so many options to create the perfect event for couples and for their guests. We received so many compliments from guests regarding the scenery and set-up of the pavilion! Our Day-Of Coordinator, Jen Aaron, was amazing to work with and took what decor and items I brought and created the most beautiful set-up from the tables to the overall layout. She truly has an incredible eye for design as well as the skills to listen to a vision and create it into exactly what I envisioned (or probably even better!). She also made the timeline of the entire day seamless! We were very pleased and wouldn't have changed a thing about our selection of The Pavilion at Mixon Farms!

Mixon Farms is the absolute best place to have your wedding! Our wedding planner, David, was exceptional and professional. On the day of the wedding he was calm, collected, and knew exactly what he was doing so that we didn’t have to worry about anything! We really enjoyed our day because of him. Preparation’s were also wonderful, the communication was clear and the meetings were always lovely and productive. We love Mixon!

We got married on April 30, 2022, our day was absolutely perfect regardless of the weather. David helped us feel at ease throughout every part of our planning as well as the day of. We got the mini inclusive package and were truly amazed at what came included within this package. The venue itself is absolutely stunning with tons of flowers and greenery, it is a hidden gem! Unfortunately it pour the morning of our wedding up until right before the ceremony so our original layout had to be moved around a bit but David was quick into action and helped resolve anything that came up. As soon as our ceremony started the sky cleared up and we had the best night of our lives. Every single vendor that was either within our package or on their pink list was incredible. No one had a single complaint, our entire family raved about the staff and venue itself. We could not have been happier and will recommend this venue to everyone!

I will absolutely always recommend The Pavilion at Mixon to anyone of my friends or family getting married, as our wedding went off without a hitch and we had an absolutely amazing time!! David and Leanne handled any issues that came up on the day of without us even knowing, and David was always so helpful with all of my constant questions leading up to the big day! I'll also mention that their payment plans were a huge help and deciding factor for us, as it made planning and executing our dream even more feasible. I'm sorry our wedding day is over now, but I'm so happy it was at Mixon!!

David and Alex went above and beyond to make our day so unbelievably special! The attention to detail and individual service was outstanding! Our guests told us over and over it was the best wedding they have me attended! If you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue and a team of professional coordinators who will handle every detail, look no further!

The Mixon team was incredible from start to finish! They were so helpful when we first began the planning process and all their recommended vendors were a pleasure to work with. Alex helped me multiple times with any questions or concerns I had leading up to the wedding. David Hall was our coordinator day of the wedding. He kept us on schedule and handled all the behind the scenes work. Leigh Ann was also there to assist day of the wedding and was David's right hand in making the events, decor, and vendors fall into place. Clayton was our bartender, he kept our drinks full the entire time and made sure to keep the guests happy as well. They are an incredible team, and allowed not only my husband and I to enjoy the day but also all our family and friends. I can't thank the Mixon team enough for all their hard work. They truly give it their all.

Mixon Farms venue and staff are amazing. David was very patient with me and my constant calls to the venue regarding questions as we got closer to the the ceremony date. Leanne was our day of coordinator. She did great for our rehearsal and stayed all day for day of coordinating. Unfortunately, It rained on our ceremony date, but everything else had gone so well I wasn't even phased by this hiccup. Definitely recommend, preferred vendor 3 C's catering. Our day was perfect.

Absolutely amazing venue! They had a payment plan that worked well for us, the staff were always available, offered a top-notch preferred vendor list and don't even get me started on the pictures this place produces! We thoroughly enjoyed working with the Mixon team, including Brandy, David and Alex! They helped us over the past 2 years make our special day exactly that. Would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a beautiful outdoor venue while supporting a local business!

The Pavilion at Mixon Farms exceeded my expectations! They went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. We had a huge storm blow through just before the ceremony was supposed to start and they made sure everything was taken care of. Alex was a pleasure to work with. The Pavilion at Mixon Farms was the first and only venue we looked at. Once we were there and met with such a welcoming staff, along with the most beautiful location for our wedding, we knew it was the one for us and didn’t need to see any other options. We had to move our wedding date due to Covid and they were so accommodating and helpful, making a hard decision a lot less chaotic than it could have been. We never experienced any stress throughout the process because we knew we were in good hands every step of the way. Our day of coordinator was David and he was amazing. I know for a fact that our day wouldn’t have gone as smoothly without him. He was on top of everything, kept things on schedule, and was there to assist whenever we needed him. Even our guests noticed how professional and organized he was. It was truly a seamless day! We absolutely loved Mixon and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quaint outdoor venue with a skilled, friendly staff.

The most gorgeous venue with the most accommodating staff. All my guests and myself had an amazing time!

This venue is BEAUTIFUL!!! Our wedding was amazing, and the Mixon staff made it everything we ever wanted. There were minor hiccups throughout the day (thank you traffic accidents and missing ties) and the Mixon team handled everything with ease. They handled most communication with vendors, and made everything super easy and painless. Everyone that works there is so friendly, and will make you feel right at home. We also rented the farmhouse that is onsite (sleeps A LOT of people), and used it for the rehearsal dinner and a place for the bridal party to get ready the day of. We couldn't have had a more pleasant experience!!!

David and Alex went above and beyond for my daughter. Our venue canceled on us 3 weeks before the wedding . So glad we called them the property is so beautiful and you couldn't ask for a better place or people.

We were completely in love with our venue! David made sure everything was all set up for us and worked with us 2 months from our wedding date when we lost our first venue. Anything I was worried about, he made me feel comfortable and guided us through the entire day. The koi pond was a beautiful touch and everyone loved feeding them. I’d recommend this venue to everyone!

My husband and I had such an amazing wedding here! The venue is so beautiful. I got compliments on the venue from all of our guests. Jen was our day of coordinator. She was amazing too! I don't know what we would have done without her. She took on a lot of responsibility which made me way less stressed. Also, we found Mixon because I literally looked at every wedding venue within 100 miles of Tampa that was moderately priced or under. This was the only place in the area that wasn't crazy expensive, but still had a beautiful outdoor venue. Definitely recommend!

First of all, this venue is beautiful!! My wedding was nothing short of a fairytale. If you can, I highly recommend renting the farmhouse at least the night before and the night of the wedding. That way, your whole bridal party can get ready there because it takes the whole day to prepare. I also highly recommend purchasing the full coordinator option because I didn’t have to lift a finger that day and neither did my family. Everything was done for me and it was beautiful. Get married here!!

Brandy and Jen were amazing! They listened to our vision and on the day of, they made sure everything went off without a hitch. They made sure we were on time but we never felt rushed. My guests enjoyed the entire night and were so happy to have the A/C units going (July weddings in Florida after all lol). The venue is beautiful and offers so many picture perfect moments! I can’t wait to see how pictures turned out!

The Pavilion was amazing! We Couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. It was the best garden wedding theme. We worked closely with Brandy and David as our Coordinators leading up to and during the wedding. We could not have done it without them. They are amazing! The Pavilion at Mixon Farms is the ONLY place you should choose to get married if looking to have your wedding in Florida. From start to finish the staff was amazing to work with and made wedding planning super easy, big shout out to Brandy Harlan for all her hard work! It is a perfect venue that provides you with a whimsical and romantic vibe that little girls (and adults) dream about. Absolutely cannot say enough about our wedding experience with the Pavilion at Mixon Farms. First let me say we started planning right when covid hit so needless to say we were on pins and needles hoping our wedding didn't get canceled. The staff at Mixon's was amazing start to finish. They answered all our questions, exceeded our expectations as vendor and a wedding resource. Our day was beautiful and stress-free. We rented the farmhouse, which I would highly recommend as it provided a great place to gather to have our rehearsal dinner as well as a comfortable place to get ready for our day. Brandy, Teresa, Jen and David were all part of our day! Amazing group of people.

All around phenomenal. The venue was everything we were looking for; charming, simple but elegant, plenty of space and all the extras we wanted, not to mention the variety of beautiful places to take photos. The family enjoyed the butterfly garden and the lawn games, the young ones really loved all the space to run and play and were absolutely fascinated to feed the koi fish. The staff themselves were amazing also. Brandy was with us from tour, to booking, to i do and was always ready to respond to my many questions. The other coordinators and staff that we interacted with were just as friendly and helpful. They really knew how to guide us in making the day go smoothly and beautifully.

from the first visit i was in love with this venue - i really wanted a fully outdoor wedding with lots of greenery and this venue delivered! planning a wedding during a pandemic is no easy feat but everyone at mixon made it easy and reassured us that we would get our dream day. brandy and jen are amazing and i couldn’t ask for better people to have there for me and my husband during our big day! everything was perfect and stress free, if you book here and want to plan your own wedding like i did i HIGHLY recommend getting the two coordinator package with it because it made my day perfect and i didn’t have to worry about anything. perfect venue for a perfect wedding!

Brandy is the absolute best!! She was our wedding coordinator (through Mixon’s) once we booked our reception at their venue. As a bride handling every little detail up until the day of our wedding, Brandy and her assistant, David, were by my side making sure any hiccup was taken care of most of the time without even letting me know. We rented out the farmhouse, also owned by Mixon’s, for myself and all of my bridesmaids that weekend and it worked out perfect! All 12 of us were able to comfortably sleep and had hair and makeup come to us the morning of the wedding. Our entire day went better than I could have ever imagined and I truly owe it all to the amazing support and attentiveness of the team we had by our side. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! We just got married this past weekend, during this crazy COVID year. Jen, Brandy, David and the entire staff took care of this wedding way beyond our expectations. We literally just dropped off our decor, and walked into a magically transformed reception. Everything from day 1 of us booking the venue till the day after the wedding went smoothly. Every single one of my guests came up to me and said how impressed they were with the venue, the beautiful mix of old Florida nature with a rustic outdoors feel. As a bride, I didn't have to worry about a single detail. We did the cocktail hour, the koi pond experience (which everyone loved). And during COVID, they made sure to distance the tables, the staff was masked, and made our guests feel as comfortable as possible. My mother and I also decided on renting out the farmhouse so the morning of the wedding we had more than plenty of space to get ready ( I had 6 bridesmaids, my mother, mother in law, and flower girl) and it was the best decision I made for that day. My family was able to stay there after the wedding, and then my mother threw a beautiful morning-after brunch for our guests. Jen was my main day of coordinator, I cannot express enough how happy I am with how everything turned out. Brandy turned out to be our bartender...thank you for all the pours haha. You can tell that they love what they do, and they are very good at that. Couldn't have asked for a better day!!!

On our search for the perfect outside venue in our area, we came across The pavilion at Mixon Farms and we are so glad we did! It was the perfect garden fairytale wedding I hoped it would be! We added on the caffe lights strung from the pavilion to the gazebo which is a must, it was so beautiful! Our day of coordinator Jenn, was so helpful and patient with us. She made sure everything ran smooth and the night was perfect.

I wouldn’t have wanted our wedding to be any but at The Pavilion at Mixon Fruit Farm. The scenery alone is perfect the staff is amazing and they definitely make you feel at ease with any questions you have. I highly recommend having your special day at. Jen was our coordinator and she was absolutely amazing!

We got married at Mixon on March 7th and needless to say it was the best day of our lives! Brandy and her team were absolutely amazing from day one. They were so attentive to make sure our every need was met. My husband and I were the first couple to book the all inclusive package through Mixon and it was the best decision. Brandy made everything so easy and stress-free on our part! She let us provide as much or as little input on something as we wanted. She really held our hand through the whole process and we are so thankful for that. Within the all-inclusive package we were able to select our vendors so it still provided us with a lot of freedom. There were also times when we asked Brandy to take something and run with it and her creative freedom did not disappoint. The venue is simple but elegant. The Pavilion is breathtaking. There's a lot of space for guest to move around and not feel trapped in one space. There is a farmhouse on the property that you can rent as well and it made it really easy to stay and get ready right on site. Go take a tour and meet the team, I guarantee you'll want to book instantly!

We eloped in Maui but wanted to have a celebration with our family and friends. After searching multiple venues and almost giving up, we came across The Pavilion at Mixon Farms. As soon as we stepped foot on the property we knew this was the venue. To add to the already stunning outdoor venue, was Brandy who took us on a tour and provided the best hospitality. The day of our reception could not have been more perfect. Brandy and the staff were AMAZING and we have gotten so many comments from our guests on how beautiful the venue was. HIGHLY recommend Mixon Farms. You will not be disappointed!

We love Mixon!! We got married 3/14 and everything was perfect. Brandy was a Godsend. She was easy to communicate with, got my vision, and took care of everything. We had family stay at the farmhouse on property and we had our rehearsal dinner there. Everyone at mixon took great care of us. Brandy and Emily made the day go off perfectly and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I’m ready to do it again!! I wish I could give them 1000 stars.

We got married last Friday at Mixon and our day could not have been more perfect! We had booked back in October 2019 for a February 2020 wedding. Teresa and Brandy were phenomenal throughout the entire process. We felt communicating with them was very seamless and they had super fast response times for all of our questions and needs. They worked with us as a couple to make sure our big day was unique and all about us! I’ve helped out with friends’ weddings in the past where other venues do not give you access until the day-of and only a few hours before - that is not the case with Mixon! This actually played a huge part in our decision making process. We had our rehearsal the evening before (on Thursday) and were given access to store all of our decor, alcohol, etc in the (locked) bridal suite overnight. Being able to bring all that stuff the evening before was a huge help! We also had access beginning at 9:00 am the day-of so we had lots and lots of time to set up! We loved it that our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception was all in one place. Everyone was blown away at how beautiful the venue is. The play area adjacent to the butterfly garden and the koi pond was great for the kids! We love Mixon!

Don’t look elsewhere!!! The Pavilion at Mixon fruit farms was beyond amazing! They were so helpful, reasonably priced, and flexible to our accommodations. They helped our dreams come true and made the event so beautiful and perfect! Some of the best parts about this venue was everything that was included- chairs, tables, etc. but also the incredible chandeliers and twinkling lights pulled the whole aesthetic together! The convenience of having the ceremony/social hour/ reception all so close made it extremely helpful to our vendors and guest. My favorite part of all was how you could really add your own creativity to it. It wasn’t a “barn look” that required the super rustic feel. I could add our own personality in it making it truly just unique to us! Our guests could not stop saying how beautiful it was and the amount of photo ops are incredible! We didn’t even use our photo booth backdrop because the florals and greens were more than enough. I would choose mixon over and over!

omg. i absolutely loved the venue, the staff, EVERYTHING. i was the bride this past weekend and everything ran BEAUTIFULLY. i cannot thank Brandy and Teresa for the full attention the entire time and knew exactly what they were doing. we had alcohol there and when the bar area filled with people brandy went and help out with the drinks. she even danced with us and tried to teach us some moves( because i have no rhythm). she was available by phone all night, she fixed and stayed calm through the seating chart issues, napkin issues, everything. i don’t have a single bad thing to say about this venue, brandy or teresa because i was having a blast. guys, if you’re thinking about mixons as a venue, DO IT. they answered all of my questions, thru email, phone and even text when they were busy. we did follow up meetings and they helped us figure out everything and even talked with our caterer and linen people to get everything figured out. i can’t stress enough how wonderful this place has been even with some up and downs. thank you guys for all that you have done and keep doing what you do best!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I attended a beautiful wedding ceremony here recently. The gazebo was elegant and the water feature behind was lovely. The entire event was coordinated very well by Brandy and Teresa. They made sure everything went smooth and handled everything professionally. They were very attentive and were able to adapt where needed. The Bride and Groom said the event went well behind the scenes as well. I recommend this venue for any occasion, especially a wedding :)

Choosing to have our wedding at Mixon Farms turned out to be the most positive experience. From the time we initially visited the venue though-out the time following our wedding the staff at Mixon's was extremely attentive , involved and and assured our big day went smooth. Special thanks to Teresa, Jen and Brandi for continuously keeping us informed of any needs that might require attention prior to our big day, making our wedding day perfect. The setting was perfect! Sarasota and Bradenton Wedding venues can be so expensive. That’s why I was thrilled to find mixon! Everything was so affordable and they work with your every request. Highly recommend them if you are trying to get the best value for money!

What each bride imagines to be “the perfect wedding” is as unique as it is elusive. For most of us, it’s not a detailed plan but an evolving idea. There’s usually one “thing” guiding that vision of a special, perfect day. And for me, that “thing” was not articulated. I just knew I would know it when I saw it. And Mixon’s was it. I can say with no uncertainty that I got my dream wedding. I got the romantic, intimate, outdoor affair I was imagining... I told my now-husband several times throughout the planning process that I somehow was able to have my cake and eat it too. I got the pros and left behind all of the cons of each decision we made. Let me reiterate this: my wedding day was perfect. I would not improve a single aspect of it, from the unexpected surprises like the wine and orange juice left in our dressing rooms down to the absolute trust and confidence I had in my coordinators to leave the venue in middle of the afternoon to start getting ready for the ceremony. My husband and I definitely planned a “budget” wedding, but there were a few things we chose to splurge on — Mixon’s Ultimate Coordinator Package was one of them. It was worth every single penny! When Brandy (our coordinator) walked in while I was getting ready and asked about the details I had forgotten about, I was so grateful. She pulled everything together in a truly magical way. I was stunned when I walked out in my wedding gown and found everything not just the way I had expected, but even more beautiful than I had pictured. Brandy truly really went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. She even offered me the emotional support I found I needed right before walking down the aisle. Theresa, the other coordinator there that night, was also brilliant. She carefully pulled my dress out of a bush I had snagged it on and helped my husband and I laugh when it all felt a little overwhelming. Brandy and Theresa were my dream team and I feel so blessed I got them! I cannot say enough about how wonderful Mixon’s was… about how beautiful the venue was just in and of itself, about how helpful and extensive the advice we received was, and about how wonderful and talented the staff was in making everything happen. I felt relaxed on my wedding day, knowing I was in good hands. My husband and I have since joked about divorcing just so that we can get married at Mixon’s all over again! It was literally perfect. To the future bride reading and considering: of course you’ll consider other venues and other coordinators in your search. But I promise that if you choose Mixon’s, you will not be disappointed. It will settle the biggest and hardest decision of your wedding planning. And you’ll never regret it.

The wedding coordinator pkg was truly worth the investment. I HIGHLY recommend it. She LISTENED to my vision and and saw it through. We ended up with a beautiful venue that truly exceeded my wildest vision! We delivered a trailer full of decor and Brandi, Jen and Emily turned it into a fabulous wonderland!
