The Peninsula Club

When looking for venues, I knew I wanted to get married on the lake. The Peninsula Club was a beautiful location both the outdoor scenery and the event space. I am so pleased with how everything turned out. Guest could not stop complimenting the atmosphere and beauty of the space. Elizabeth, the coordinator, was such a joy to work with and made the planning process and day of go so smoothly.

The Peninsula Club and Elizabeth were incredible for our big day. Not only did we have nothing to worry about but the whole day was executed flawlessly and Elizabeth coordinated with all our other vendors for a seamless experience. Highly recommend for a reception venue!!

I wouldn’t hesitate one second to recommend Elizabeth and her team at the Peninsula Club for any wedding - big or small. We had 200+ people at our wedding and the ballroom and extra dining area were able to perfectly accommodate 20+ tables. The newly renovated Lakeside room is perfect for cocktail hour, and has all the right updates for a modern, craftsman lake-side wedding. We also received many comments about how fantastic the menu was - and for us (bride and groom), this was one of the most convenient parts of wedding planning (no catering!).

The Peninsula Club truly exceeded all of our hopes and dreams for our wedding. Elizabeth and her team made us feel totally relaxed throughout the planning process and the entire big day as they had everything under complete control. The venue was gorgeous in every way and we don't hesitate at all to recommend The Peninsula Club to others looking for a wedding venue.

Elizabeth is an absolute saint! She is a wonderful venue coordinator! Accessible, patient, yet, direct and gets the job done. The venue itself is beautiful, a well kept venue inside and out with pristine landscaping and building space. It is clear that the Peninsula Club team is experienced, professional and well suited to serve the best.

We just had our wedding at the Peninsula Club on Lake Norman this past weekend (6/2/2018) and it was everything we could have asked for and more!! Elizabeth Benton is beyond fantastic at her job and the staff at the Peninsula Club are so attentive. Our guests complimented every aspect of our wedding!! If you are looking for a venue on the lake, look no further than the Peninsula Club. You will not be disappointed!!

The Peninsula Club was an amazing venue for our wedding! Everything is beautiful at this country club from the grounds, the views, the rooms, and even the extravagant bathrooms! Having our ceremony on the patio overlooking Lake Norman was gorgeous, and they also have a great indoor back-up plan for the ceremony that is wonderful as well. They have a separate room for the cocktail hour, which makes the big reveal of the ballroom for the reception even more special and amazing! Elizabeth was a great coordinator-I felt sure she had everything under control, and she did! The whole event went smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding-she made sure all the decor, vendors, and other set up were taken care of! She always responded to emails quickly and answered my millions of questions. The food there was also incredible. My husband and I are very sad we didn't get to enjoy the appetizers, but we made sure to enjoy our dinner because it was phenomenal! We also always felt welcome there, whereas when I visited a couple other country clubs, they wanted to make sure you stayed away from their vendors as if you were a nuisance! Everything at this venue was wonderful!

So glad we chose this as our wedding venue. Everything about it was perfect! We had an outdoor wedding (with an indoor back-up plan) and an indoor reception. The venue coordinator, Elizabeth, was AWESOME. She and her staff have obviously done this a time or two and made everything run absolutely seamlessly! We received so many compliments on how great everything was--venue, parking availability, staff, food, drinks--EVERYTHING. Could not have asked for anything more!

Let us start by saying, our wedding was magical and The Peninsula Club (including its staff) exceeded all my expectations. Any and every request we had was accommodated without a second ask. If we had to do it all over, we would not change 1 thing. Elizabeth (the Peninsula Club coordinator) is nothing short of phenomenal. She had everything under control from the second we booked the venue to the end of wedding. I can't tell you how much easier she made our lives. Not only was our wedding a large wedding, but we were all from out of state. We planned the entire wedding from over 5 hours away and it was not struggle. Elizabeth is responsive, organized, and super sweet. She made our dream wedding a reality and I could never thank her enough. Days before our wedding she reassured us that she had everything under control and for us to relax, and she was 100% right. Every decoration and vendor were in the perfect place and everything ran smoothly. She made sure our gluten free, vegetarian, and dairy free guests were all accomodate at both the rehearsal and the wedding. Again, another complicated request that she and the club were able to easily handle. Truly, I do not know how Elizabeth does it but she makes the event magical. Our guests could not stop complimenting the food, drinks, and venue as a whole. The MOH, who has worked in the DC restaurant business for over 10 years, said that the food was the better than any food she had ever had at a large event. The food was fresh, warm, and delivered to each table in a timely manner. Again, nearly perfect in every aspect. We used majority of the vendors recommended by Elizabeth and the Peninsula Club and again, have zero complaints. Elizabeth recommends them because she knows they deliver great work and truly, they did. If you are reading this and are at all unsure about booking with The Peninsula Club, let me reassure you that this venue and its staff will do everything in their power to make sure your event is perfect and exactly what you wanted.

The Peninsula Club made my dream wedding come true! The venue itself is gorgeous – beautifully decorated, view of the lake and grounds, great layout, and inviting atmosphere. We were looking for a venue for both our ceremony and reception, so having an option for a pretty outdoor ceremony as well as an indoor option (that wasn’t on the dance floor) was important. Their ‘plan B’ indoor room for a ceremony was the nicest we’d seen and would have been lovely had we not been fortunate to have an amazing spring day full of sunshine and blue skies! Since the venue is a club, it has a kitchen which made our life a lot easier (rather than having to find a caterer), and all of our food was delicious – much better than ‘typical’ wedding food. The service was outstanding – all staff members were friendly, helpful, and clearly experienced in weddings – and we felt well taken-care-of the entire event. Additionally, the club provided a lot of perks that greatly helped with planning (and costs) such as votive candles, mirrors for the centerpieces, pedestals for the ceremony flowers, and linens in a variety of colors. Elizabeth was terrific to work with – very responsive, always had time for my (many) questions, and willing to help us think through and plan for this big event. She was incredibly professional and made us feel at ease. She seamlessly executed the numerous moving parts in preparing for and running the venue on the day-of. It was a pleasure to work with her, and I couldn’t be happier with my wedding experience!!

The Peninsula Club is the perfect venue for a wedding. There is plenty of space inside to host a reception of any size. The views are incredible (even during a hurricane!). Elizabeth is truly amazing at her job and will help to ensure that everything goes perfectly the day of your wedding! It took so much stress away from the day knowing that she was in barge of coordinating everything! I would highly recommend checking the venue out!

Elizabeth was awesome and extremely helpful! Every aspect went smoothly from the food tasting, to the set up the day before, to everything the day of the wedding. The food was delicious, the decorations were exactly how I expected, and taking pictures was so easy with the help of the golf carts. If anything went wrong during the reception, I was completely unaware of it, because it seemed perfect to me! I would recommend the Peninsula Club to anyone considering a reception here!

The Peninsula Club is an amazing venue for your wedding. Not only is it beautiful but Elizabeth and the rest of the staff are amazing! Everyone at The Peninsula Club made our day so wonderful. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but they know what they are doing. They are all very organized. I didn't have to worry about one thing. The Peninsula Club is a wonderful venue. We knew immediately that we wanted to get married there after the first time we walked in. The space is beautiful on its own, without any additional decorations. I loved that the most. We wanted a simple, classic, elegant wedding and the Peninsula Club speaks exactly to that. Elizabeth, the Club's event coordinator, is phenomenal. She is very kind, easygoing and very professional. She is prompt in answering emails and phone calls. During all of our planning (about one year) I never had to worry about anything. Elizabeth always had everything under control and taken care of. Day of, her and her team are truly amazing. They make sure that no details are missed. Our ceremony was to begin at 5pm and we started promptly at 5. Her team guided the bridesmaids and myself through every step up until almond down the aisle. They closed the doors and did not allow anyone to enter the building once the ceremony started, to allow me the grand entrance. Once we were down the aisle, the "late" guests were allowed in. During the cocktail hour and reception, Elizabeth made sure my husband and I had everything we needed. She also kept us informed of the timeline and ensured we were where we needed to be at the right time. She works very collaboratively with other vendors and was extremely helpful in making a timeline for the day leading up to the wedding day. I would get married there again and would refer any and everyone I know to this venue. I can't say enough positive things about how wonderful our experience was.

We had both our ceremony and reception at the Peninsula Club and we couldn't have been happier! Elizabeth was very easy to work with and always responded in a timely manner to my emails. I emailed her A LOT, and she never made me feel like I was bothering her. What originally drew us to the Peninsula Club was their neutral color palette, the elegance of the ballroom with the chandeliers and sconces, and the venue was beautiful without being "overly frilly or girly", so my groom felt comfortable too. Also, we wanted a venue that would take care of catering and alcohol in-house, and the Peninsula met those requirements. We were all set to have the ceremony on the brick patio, however, it rained on our day, so the ceremony was moved inside in the Lakeside Room and it was beautiful! After the ceremony, our guests had lots of room to spread out and socialize between the terrace, main dining room, and ballroom. I loved that our dinner buffet was kept in the hallway behind the ballroom so it didn't detract from the look of the ballroom and there was no visible line of people waiting to get food. The only thing I might recommend to other brides is possibly getting ready (hair/makeup, etc) in another location. There is a very large conference table in the bridal suite that cannot be moved. I only had 3 bridesmaids and it got VERY cramped and crowded in that room with just us and one makeup & hair stylist. So I would imagine someone with a larger bridal party would really struggle with space. That being said, the restroom used for the bridal suite was very large and elegant, and is a perfect area to get dressed. While I was not able to see the men's locker room first-hand, I did see photos later and it looked very spacious and the lockers had a sophisticated wood face, so it wasn't anything like a typical locker room. It was elegantly masculine. Overall, we were thrilled with our decision to get married at the Peninsula Club and I would absolutely recommend it to other couples looking for a venue!

The Peninsula Club was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding. The outdoor ceremony & cocktail hour were gorgeous, overlooking Lake Norman and the lush, green golf course. Elizabeth Walczy was so professional & easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. She executed our vision of how we hoped the club & ballroom would look. The Peninsula's chef & staff did a fantastic job serving a plated, sit down dinner to 200+ people, involving 4 different entrees. They were also great serving our hot, late night snacks. Our large band/stage fit well in the ballroom, even with all the tables. What a fun & amazing venue! Wow. Jan H.

At first, we were hesitant in booking a venue in another state. I was born in Charlotte, but live in Maryland with my husband. My parents were adamant about us getting married in my home town, so we went on a venue search when we were visiting for Memorial Day last year. I was worried that being so far away and planning my wedding would be tough... It turned out to be the complete opposite! The Peninsula Club was SO amazing to work with. They recommended all of our vendors and they could NOT have steered us in a better direction! We had cocktails outside (!) and dinner and dancing in the ballroom. The dinner options were a lot more creative and versatile than any of the other venues we looked at. We were so happy with our experience and would do it all over again the exact same way!

The Peninsula Club had us at "hello"! This is a beautiful venue; I would even say breathtaking. The view over the golf course and Lake Norman is stunning. The building itself is large and beautifully appointed. The staff is friendly and responsive. From the initial meeting with Elizabeth, the food tasting (delicious!) to the bride preparation room and the big evening itself, all was amazing. Elizabeth even helped us at the end of a long day to carry our wedding belongings out to the car. She was quietly in charge and paid attention to every detail, allowing my husband and I to enjoy our own party! Thanks to Peninsula Club, Elizabeth and all the staff!

Great experience at the Peninsula Club. The team there made sure that the day was perfect for us. They are extremely accommodating. We were treated like royalty the night of our wedding. Elizabeth was great! All our guests told us how well they were treated, how impressed they were with the staff, and how elegant everything turned out!

From the moment we stepped into The Peninsula Club we knew that this was 'the' place we wanted to pledge our love to one another in front of our friends and family. Elizabeth Walczy is their events planner and is beyond fantastic at her job. We all know that there are tons of other weddings happening before your wedding at the same location and I ALWAYS felt like the ONLY Bride. Any questions I had, any time I requested to meet with her and any details I needed to work through she was right there, attentive and ready! As a side note, we all know wedding food can be a little blah but The Peninsula Club's menu is 5 Star. So many people are STILL complimenting our wedding food! And should you choose them, the tasting will only further confirm that for you. You will NOT be disappointed if you choose to get married at The Peninsula Club.

This place is amazing! Elizabeth and her staff will make your dream wedding a reality. This is a gem in Cornelius. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Everything about The Peninsula Club was a first class experience for my wife and I. From the first day we visited, to the food tasting, to selecting food, was all a fantastic experience. Staff was always willing to help and Elizabeth was amazing as she helped us plan without us being in town (we lived in Ohio during the process). The venue was nothing but perfect on our big day and everything was so smooth. I would recommend The Peninsula Club and Elizabeth to anyone who is looking for a first class venue and staff. Just call and set up a visit. You will see what I am talking about shortly after you arrive.

We are a very non traditional couple and they worked with us to make our wedding day easy and fun. Elizabeth was amazing and the staff was great. It was the most perfect day.

If you want a beautiful venue and staff that takes care of every question you could think of for your wedding day, this is your venue. The venue alone is beautiful. Elizabeth made planning the wedding so much fun. Anything you could want they will take care of. They went over every detail with our daughter and her fiancée. Elizabeth and the staff did not leave anything undone. They go above and beyond to make everything perfect. They set up everything we took and packed it back up at the end ready for us to pick up. The food was delicious, so many compliments on the food, service and staff. A very professional venue. We highly recommend this venue. We have nothing negative to say about this venue. My husband and I were able to visit the venue anytime to observe other weddings or events to help provide more comfort with planning. Grainne and Elizabeth were amazing!! Both responded promply when I emailed or called with questions. Elizabeth transitioned very well when it came to making sure she captured everything I shared with Grainne. Elizabeth was very organized and listened to what we desired for our day. She was very flexible and made sure everything went smooth on our day. The venue was beautiful and spacious. The food was great! Our guests gave us major kudos about the NY steak strips and stuffed chicken being very good! Most of all, the customer service from Elizabeth and other staff was outstanding! During the planning process, Elizabeth made it effortless and was always great with communicating back about any questions I had. We just had our wedding here on May 23, 2015 and it exceeded all our expectations. Throughout the entire process of planning (one year), the Peninsula Club was great. They know what they are doing and they do it well. The food is excellent, even our guests told us how impressed they were with all the food choices including the cocktail hour snacks. They accommodate almost any request and make you feel special the entire time. The night of the wedding was perfect and we did not have any hiccups whatsoever. Elizabeth was beyond amazing at making sure I (the bride) was taken care of at all times. I can't say enough great things about this venue and would highly recommend it to anyone. Aside from the services, the view is INCREDIBLE. I can't wait to see our photos because you simply can't beat the Lake Norman view this club offers. I would re-do my wedding here over and over a million times. :)

Grainne was fabulous and helped us put together an elegant and fun rehearsal dinner! I almost wished I had booked my wedding here. The venue's food was AMAZING and they offer several linens, cloths, etc. that are all included! Service was impeccable as well. All around a wonderful event!

We visited a bunch of possible wedding venues for our wedding ceremony and reception. The Peninsula Club offered exactly what we were looking for and Grainne was simply amazing. She answered our countless questions throughout the whole planning process. She was patient, expressed her honest opinion when asked, was creative, and accommodated all our requests. Her response time and availability were amazing, albeit her super busy fall wedding schedule. All our guests complimented us on the beautiful venue, the wonderful food and the perfect execution of the wedding ceremony / reception. We looked at many different venues for our ceremony & reception in the Lake Norman area however the moment we contacted The Peninsula Club we knew we were in good hands. Grainne Gray, our coordinator was not only professional but extremely helpful and attentive for our every need. The view is beautiful, overlooking the course & lake. The food was great & the staff was amazing! We had to go with Plan B since it rained on our day but the transition was seamless and ended up being very beautiful. Everything was just 'taken care of'! So....my advice to the DIY bride....don't.....let The Peninsula Club take care of the details, stress & worry. You just get to show up & enjoy day with your hubby, family & friends.

My wife and I were married at The Peninsula Club in Cornelius, NC. Her dream was to have a wedding on Lake Norman. We looked at numerous places to have the wedding and even more to have the reception. One of our friends finally recommended The Peninsula Club, and at first we were skeptical due to our budget. However, we decided to go look anyways and I can honestly say it was the best choice we, oh wait, second best choice we made. The first being marrying my wife of course. The Peninsula Club is a beautiful venue with a tremendous staff, and the food was excellent. I cannot say enough about our wedding coordinator, Grainne Gray. She is not only extremely helpful but also professional and easy to work with. The rehearsal and wedding would not have been possible in the short time we had to plan without her help. I was particularly impressed with her involvement in the reception, especially when she ensured my beer of choice was available for the entire evening. I would recommend The Peninsula Club to any couple looking for a wedding venue. The location is second to none when it comes to venue, service, assistance, food and maybe most importantly, value. My wife and I are still talking about how great that night was, but even more revealing of the venue is how our guests are still commenting on how nice the venue and reception were. My husband and I got married in April at the Peninsula Club and had an amazing experience from beginning to end. We looked for a perfect venue for months and ended up choosing a place very close to home. Grainne, Ryan, and the other staff members at the Peninsula Club were so helpful with everything from suggesting vendors, to working within our budget. We didn't feel once that they were just trying to raise the bill for their own benefit. They helped us coordinate the linen drop off and pick up, assisted the DJ with set up, florists, desserts, and all other aspects. I truly did not need to worry about one thing the day of the event. I highly recommend choosing the Peninsula Club for your event. Not only is it an absolutely beautiful venue located within Lake Norman, but the staff itself makes it totally worth it! We had our wedding reception at the Peninsula Club and it was beautiful from start to finish. Grainne Gray, the Catering Coordinator, and her team worked flawlessly with me to create a wonderful day. The venue itself is extremely classy, there is a great view of the lake, and we actually were able to arrive by boat!! It was a beautiful reception, and we enjoyed every minute of our time there. The food was delicious, and we had a cocktail hour with appetizers that were great too. They have lots of options for food and drinks in terms of pricing, and all of the things we tried were great. I would definitely use them again!!

From the moment the guests entered The Peninsula Club for my daughter and her husband's wedding reception, the beauty of this venue was so evident! The elegance and warmth of this setting felt like an extension of our family's home, so it was the perfect place for our families and friends to gather to celebrate my daughter and her new husband. The event planner, Grainne Gray, and the wait staff were amazing! Grainne, with her calm and "go with the flow" manner made it so easy for us throughout the entire wedding reception planning process!The night was definitely enjoyed by everyone, and a night that will be remembered for years to come. I had both my ceremony & reception at the Peninsula Club I would definitely recommend this venue to any bride! The planning was easy with Grainne Gray (event coordinator), and the day of the wedding couldn't have been any more perfect. Bottom line, every one of our guests commented on 1) how well the reception was organized and kept flowing, 2) the professionalism of the wait staff, 3) the food was great, 4) and probably most importantly, no one had to wait to get served a drink. Not to mention the beautiful scenery of the Lake Norman!

I cannot stress enough how amazing our wedding turned out, thanks to the club and their staff. The Peninsula Club and their wonderful staff made our wedding planning as stress free as possible, and our wedding day absolutely perfect. Grainne and the event staff are amazing during the planning, making sure that every detail is covered so that the day of the wedding, there will be zero stress. They take care of everything that needs to be done that day, so all you and the groom have to do, is show up! Although initially the price may seem a little high, it is not at all. It is completely worth it. We searched different venues for months and compared services and prices, and agreed that The Peninsula Club was the most beautiful, reasonable venue. Many other places offer “lower” prices, but if you add up all the work you will have to do and stress you will experience, it is totally not worth it. The Peninsula Club, literally does it all. They go above and beyond to ensure everything looks and feels perfect.

We are so happy we chose the Peninsula Club for our January wedding. Grainne (catering manager) was so helpful from our consultation all the way to our wedding day and made sure everything went very smoothly. It was everything we had hoped it would be and so much more. The food was great and the customer service was just as good. They are very prompt with getting back with you about any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this venue. The wedding was absolutely perfect. Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day and it was all thanks to Grainne's help and great organization skills at the Peninsula Club.

We couldn't have been more pleased with The Peninsula Club, Grainne Gray and staff. From Day 1, we were guided and given great service. Grainne really listened to our initial ideas and provided great recommendations for other vendors she had worked with. She helped me schedule our timeline which was somewhat challenging since my daughter lived in LA. She was always willing to meet with us, let us view the Club many times, and even the set up of another wedding in the ballroom. The service, every vendor, the staff, the food all came together the day of, and my daughters wedding was a dream come true. The entire day was stress free thanks to a well planned timeline and friendly and helpful staff. The outside backdrop for the ceremony and pictures was breathtaking and the ballroom was transformed into a romantic wonderland.

We had our wedding on October 19, 2013. It was absolutely wonderful! Let me clarify that I am not one of those brides that has been dreaming about my wedding day all my life; thus I had no strong ideas about how everything must look. Grainne Gray, the event and catering coordinator, filled in all the gaps for me! I wanted a Southern style cuisine and we came up with a BBQ bar (eastern vs western Carolina BBQ) with pork and chicken. We had a mashed potato bar (and sweet potatoes) served in martini glasses and you could add your own toppings. We had a standard salad bar. Lastly was the Southern biscuit bar with a sweet and a savory biscuit, as well as local jams, jellies and butters that could be added. We had SO MANY compliments on the food!! Granted, 90% of our guests were from the north, so this was truly unique for them! Our ceremony was supposed to be outside but it was rainy throughout the day and I had to make a gametime decision an hour before hand - wait it out? risk it? move it inside? I couldn't bear the thought of moving everything inside with such a beautiful outdoor setting. Grainne and her team moved all the heavy chairs and tables off of the veranda and moved them indoors so that our ceremony would still be outside, yet covered! I was so pleased with how everything turned out! Also, the set-up of centerpieces, cake table and guestbook table were simply gorgeous! From the groom's perspective - he loved that he could have a men's golf day the day before with all of his favorite people AND that there was a bar in the club during the reception with sporting events on the TV for the menfolk to congregate around occasionally. This venue is worthy of your visit if you are starting your wedding planning journey!

I cannot say enough good things about The Peninsula Club. Had my August 31st wedding here and it was amazing. We looked at a ton of different venues and once we saw The Peninsula Club, we knew we had to have our wedding there. Grainne, the wedding coordinator, is awesome! She instantly made us feel at ease and was so, so helpful. Food was amazing! People are still talking about it. Would highly recommend The Peninsula Club without a doubt.

I had my ceremony and reception at The Peninsula Club on Lake Norman, and I'm so glad I did! First off, it is absolutely gorgeous! From the second you walk in the door, you can see the lake through the glass windows that line the back of the upstairs. I had my ceremony outside on the brick patio that faces a gorgeous fountain and the lake, and it created the perfect backdrop! Also, unlike a lot of country clubs, The Peninsula Club doesn't have a bunch of posters about upcoming events and stuff around the areas that our ceremony and reception were. Those areas are just left clean and elegant. Second, the wedding/event coordinator, Grainne, and staff are amazing! They made the day virtually stress-free! They really specialize in making the day exactly what you want it to be from the beginning of planning through changing things around on the day of the wedding! They also did a fabulous job at facilitating guests into their seats and directing everyone so that we could get our ceremony in before the rain :-) Third, they have a number of different rooms and areas for wedding guests to be in, which was perfect for us! Some of our guests weren't all that into dancing, but loved sitting outside on the veranda or sitting on a nice quiet sofa while catching up with friends of family. Lastly, The Peninsula Club is a great value! We were able to have our dream wedding and come in well under budget thanks to The Peninsula Club. Overall, I couldn't have imagined a better place to have a wedding!

There are no words to describe our experience at The Peninsula Club for our daughter's wedding reception. The venue is gorgeous without any embellishments but they were extremely helpful and accepting of all our special ideas and additions! Grainne is the onsite coordinator and she is gracious, helpful, creative, attentive, enthusiastic, and any other adjective that you can imagine. She made the reception happen with every attention to detail that could be thought of! I can't say enough! The entire staff was wonderful and they catered to each and every member of the wedding party and guest. The food was wonderful, the venue is more than beautiful and the attention to detail is impeccable. We have had numerous comments on the food and menu , beauty of the venue and how the delightful reception....All of which we owe to The Peninsula Club. The amazing part of this is that they accomplished all of this at a very reasonable cost....Would I choose The Peninsula Club again? Absolutely and without looking any where else!

We are very happy we chose The Peninsula Club as the venue for the rehearsal dinner prior to our son's wedding on June 15, 2013. Grainne Gray is exceptional as the events coordinator and she and the staff provided excellent service and were extremely pleasant to work with. Grainne was particular to pay attention to details and made certain the evening was a most enjoyable one. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and our guests had nothing but compliments for everything about the evening. I would highly recommend The Peninsula Club.

The Peninsula Club and Grainne were outstanding!! Not only were they wonderful for us throughout the planning, but all of our guests have commented on how smoothly everything was, how the service was so friendly and attentive, food was delicious and venue was just gorgeous and amazing! We could not have asked for a better reception and can't wait to join the peninsula club as members once we move to the area! We recommend to everyone!

I had a wonderful experience with the Peninsula Club. They were very easy to work with through every step of the process. Grainne Gray is amazing and was our main contact. She coordinated everything and kept up to date notes. She gave us suggestions and help make everything run very smoothly. The space was perfect for the amount of guests we had. The ballroom was beautiful. The cocktail hour was in a seperate room, and the balcony was open the whole night. It was a nice place for guests to get away or take in the beautiful views of the lake. We had golf carts that shuttled our bridal party and families down by the water for pictures. The service was impeccable the night of, our waitress was very attentive to my husband and I. All of our guests raved about the food. We had NY strip and stuffed chicken as options. Everyone said the steak was perfectly cooked and the portions were very generous. My husband and I were able to choose our own entree and we had crab stuffed flounder, out of this world! They accommodated 2 special requests for our bar. We added Oberon beer which is our favorite from our home state of Michigan and they had a special bottle of Gentlemen Jack Daniels for my husband and his groomsmen. The entire staff and process was so easy. We went up several times and had no problem visiting even last minute. We also went for the grand tasting event they offered. It was a great way to try lots of food options and see decor as well. They did an additional tasting for us with things that weren't on the menu at the tasting and had wine pairings. Overall, very pleased with our choice to hold our wedding reception at the Peninsula Club. Excellent experience and value for the money we spent.

This location was perfect for a wedding and rehersal. Our wedding was thrown together in a month with the help of Grainne, who was awesome! The entire staff was extremly nice and helpful. Anything to make our night better, they were willing to do. Food was delicious as well! Could not have asked for a better place! Thanks Peninsula Club!

We were very pleased to have our wedding at The Peninsula Club. We wanted an outside wedding and my husband is an avid golfer, so we had looked at several country clubs in the area. We never really felt "at home" as we were not members at these clubs, but when we visited The Peninsula, we felt right at home. The staff were great and the members always spoke. The planning process was an easy one. I did not hire an event planner, as I wanted to do much of it myself and I had the event coordinator at The Peninsula to help along the way. We held all wedding related events at the club - photographs, rehearsal, wedding, reception, etc. Anything we asked for was possible. Everything went as planned the day of (even with a little rain). The only negative thing I can say about the day of my wedding was that the male photographer was not allowed in the ladies lockerroom while the bridal party got ready. After talking with the club staff, we quickly moved to another location so those memories could be captured. I can honestly say that my wedding day was stress free and I remember each moment - very few brides can say that! Delightful experience! Would definitely recommend!

The Peninsula Club is absolutely beautiful. The venue was spotless and every staff member was amazing through out the entire experience. I was lucky enough to come in a few days early and set up for my reception. Granine is so organized and amazingly helpful. Anything I needed/wanted.. she made happen. I did not worry one bit on my wedding day. I knew they had everything taken care of and I could not have asked for more!
