Absolutely the best choice I made in wedding planning was hiring Charity. Truly it changed my wedding experience - she was a calming neutral advisor that made it all seem doable and fun. She helped us take care of everything from decor, reaching out to vendors, timing, flowers, food - the list goes on. And! That doesnt even include all of the work that went into the actual day. I did not have to worry or deal with anything on the day of because Charity handled it all. She really made our day special.
Holy Cow! Charity and her team totally blew it out of the ball park for my wedding day! I was very nervous when wedding planning started and Charity helped me get in the right direction and all my nerves went away! My idea for my perfect day was Jeweled Tones with a summer vibe since my wedding was in July, Charity organized and completed this task like nobodies business! We had lots of different Jeweled Tone Colors that were incorporated in our floral designs, and tablescape. Charity also incorporated our love for Bees by using wooden Hexagons on the tables as well as helping find the perfect person to build us a Hexagon Arch for our ceremony!! She also helped figure out a way to incorporate our Fury Daughter Kona, by suggesting we use a Willow Tree Figure as our cake topper!!! I will be recommending The Perfect Day to anyone I meet that is getting married, or anyone that is needing to coordinate/ decorate for a big event!
Hello future Brides-to-be! First off, I want to say that meeting Charity Gray was an absolute God send! My beloved hairstylist recommended me to Charity, when I first got engaged in December of 2018. During my first meeting with Charity, I knew she was passionate and truly dedicated to each of her couples and their unique love story. I was 100% on board, and I hired her right away!
I would describe Charity's Wedding Planning/Coordinating style as very holistic and extremely detail oriented. She genuinely wanted to get to know who Michael and I were as a couple and also as individuals, and what we were envisioning for our Wedding Day. Charity then uniquely tailored our Wedding Planning experience, based off our individual needs and wants as a couple. She was super flexible with meetings, and she was also great about keeping in contact via phone calls, texts, and e-mails. Charity was always very prompt to respond back to me, anytime I had a question or concern.
Another wonderful thing I want to mention about Charity is that she is probably one of the MOST patient individuals I have ever met. I was a very "indecisive bride" when it came to decor, theme, flowers, and well pretty much anything and everything wedding related (lol)!! Charity would research things for us, and then at meetings she would present us with options during each stage of the planning phase. By her using this approach, she was unbelievably helpful and it helped me make decisions much easier and with greater confidence. Charity is also very connected with other great wedding vendors. She was able to reach out on our behalf or recommend someone for essentially all our Wedding Planning needs. Another awesome talent that I love about Charity, is that she is a floral genius! She artistically designed and created ALL of our gorgeous floral arrangements. Our florals for the wedding were absolutely breathtaking!
Charity and her team at The Perfect Day-NC are absolutely amazing!!! She is a wonderful, extremely kind, and patient person. Charity went above and beyond anything we could have imagined for our special day. She was so supportive and always available when I needed advice, or someone to bounce ideas off of, or when I had a "bridal crisis/crises.” Charity was ALWAYS cool, calm, and collected, which is so essential to have in a Wedding Planner/Coordinator. Charity knew exactly how to remedy an issue that arose, and kept our Wedding Planning on track. She went ABOVE and BEYOND for Michael and I during the whole process. She was there every step of the way, from our first initial e-mail, all the way through to our very last dance at the Wedding reception. I honestly could not have done this without Charity. Our Wedding was absolutely beautiful and magical in every way possible. Michael and I will be forever grateful to Charity and her team for making our Wedding Day come to life, in a way that we never could have dreamed of! Thank you so much Charity!!

Charity and her team are literally the best possible people to have by your side through the wedding planning and on your big day. We initially reached out thinking we only wanted a day-of coordinator, but realized quickly how much value they added even if you're already a type-A planner. I had a loose vision of what I wanted and Charity helped me focus in and provided tons of options and suggestions along the way. When we eventually had to postpone because of COVID, Charity was so calm and supportive, and wound up planning a second wedding option for us at a different venue.
On the big day, her team was SO professional and made every part of the day much smoother. The flowers they provided were stunning, and a member of her team even fixed my hair when we got suddenly rained on during pictures. When they had to move the entire ceremony indoors at the last minute, it still looked absolutely gorgeous and like they'd planned for that the entire time.
If you're in the Hickory, NC area and in need of a planner (and I promise you, you are!), you would be crazy not to book The Perfect Day.
These women are amazing! They have helped me from day 1 to make my wedding vision come alive. Charity is always very prompt in getting back to you. She really knows how to make things happen. They help get quotes from other vendors. They help create a tasteful color palate that pulled everything together for us. Having them on our team was the best decision we could have possibly made!
The Perfect Plan has a wonderful way of balancing my stress level and needs. They helped me understand priorities and what was pressing and when. On the day I had no worries because even when there was a snag, Kelli was calm and a clear communicator and I certainly never saw her sweat. During the planning process I got to a point when I had to let some things gone cause I was so busy, and she scooped the tasks up and really helped save th day. I am a diligent worker but it was amazing to have support during the most incredible time. And sure enough it was the best day of my life so far and I am so grateful.
