was Gracie, a girl who was super attentive to all the details and very patient. she captured every detail and brought me each dress exactly as she envisioned it. I repeat, I am not easy to convince at all. This was my first time trying on dresses and I wasn't expecting any. If you are a girl like me, if you are looking for the dress of your dreams Gracie is your girl. Without forgetting, the boutique is beautiful, the atmosphere makes you calm down and enjoy the experience, the cleanliness is perfect and it smells great. I don't know if these details count but I pay attention to everything. Wonderful staff. They made me feel like a Princess. If you want your dress you definitely have to go to this boutique. hat I had made the right choice for a bridal salon. Serena was so sweet and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. She was prepared with designs and styles based on information they collected prior to my appointment, so we were immediately able to narrow down a style and silhouette. Serena is such a pro, she knew exactly which dresses to pull, and took her time to ask questions and understand what I liked/disliked about each gown I tried. She was incredibly helpful and informative, especially when it came time to pin down specifics like the lining color and veil options. I truly do feel like I found my perfect dress, and I cannot wait to wear it on my wedding day! I can’t thank Serena and everyone at The Perfect Dress enough for providing such a great experience!

Faith took our budget seriously and pulled out about ten gowns to try on. She was extremely supportive and knowledgeable and my entire party loved her. After trying on about five gowns, I found the one. She dressed me up with lacy sleeves for the dress and a beautiful cathedral veil and I immediately bursted into tears; it felt so surreal. It was everything I ever imagined in my dream wedding dress; it’s my favorite designer, covered with lace and shimmer, and sweetheart style. I walked in a little nervous and not 100% sure if I was going to go home with a dress, but Faith easily made this day one of the best days of my life. I appreciate her kindness and patience more than she’ll ever know ❤️

picked out four dresses for me to try on. After trying those on and letting her know what I liked from each dress, she brought out four more dresses for me to try on. I tried on about 12 dresses and the whole process took 1.5 hours. Everyone was really nice and I said yes to the dress. Danielle was amazing and did a great job figuring out what I wanted. I totally recommend this place to any of my friends.

When my dress came in it actually had a snag from shipping, The Perfect Dress helped rush order a new dress with no charge and I had the new one in plenty of time. I had not known dresses were taking longer to arrive due to shipping delays nationwide, so I was really in a time restriction to get my dress (and VERY stressed). My consultation appointment was wonderful, and Stephanie took the time to understand my needs, style and certainly my time frame. After trying on a lot of dresses, Steph held one that she thought would be IT until I’d tried on all the others. That was the dress! I purchased my dress, veil and accessories and had them perform the alterations. I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. I worked primarily with Steph but Julia, Kim, and the seamstress who did my alterations were all amazing. This company is the absolute best, and I wouldn’t waste time at other stores. You will be made to feel incredibly special throughout the process and they truly care about their brides and customers.

ress shopping back in 2019 in preparation for our 2020 wedding, but like many people we had to postpone our wedding until 2021 due to the pandemic. Throughout this process, The Perfect Dress was so great! I found this shop after attending a wedding expo in Tampa and made an appointment there on site after seeing the sample of dresses they brought with them. At my first appointment with my mom and mother in law I met my bridal consultant, Cindy, who was just so great! She totally understood exactly what style of dress I imagined myself in, while also encouraging me to try some great options that I might not have picked myself. Actually the dress that I wound up choosing was one on a mannequin that I probably would not have chosen on my own, but that Cindy suggested I try on! At my first appointment I narrowed down my top choices and made another follow up appointment which was when I made my dress and veil decision! At my second appointment, Cindy had my (soon to be) seamstress Teresa take a look at the dress to ensure that the alterations/modifications that I wanted to make to my dress could be done- which luckily they could! I wound up having the dress designer add on an extra foot to my dress train (which the shop communicated with the designer for me for this addition) and then in later alterations Teresa filled in the side panels of my dress, and also completely changed the back of the dress to one that was a beautiful low cut. I couldn’t have asked for a better alterations job and am so glad that Teresa was available for it- a true artist! The environment at the shop was also amazing and a great balance between it feeling like a totally personal experience (a bridal consultant and mirror space just for you) and a shared experience with other shoppers and brides in the store (it was so much fun to see other brides’ dress styles and to have other people view my dress choice and love it!). I also chose my bridesmaids dresses from here and my mother in law purchased her dress here as well- The Perfect Dress really does have so many options and styles for brides and everyone! I really could not recommend The Perfect Dress more and I am so glad that I found them! I could not have felt more beautiful on my wedding day and a huge part of that was because of my dress, so thank you for helping me find my truly perfect dream dress!

The Perfect Dress is more then a bridal salon too; you continue to work with them for accessories, veil, mother of the bride dress, flower girl dresses, bridesmaids dresses, alterations, and final pick up. Best advice would be to ask questions to truly understand the process, and as always, pick the dress that you want and makes you feel the best. The experience alone was so worth the trip! I had the sweetest, most patient stylist helping me. She knew exactly what I was looking for the second I started to describe my likes. After I purchased the dress, they were in constant communication with me about timing, shipping, and any additional needs. It was fantastic. The experience was so great, my mom even got her mother of the bride dress there! I highly recommend checking this super cute boutique out if you find yourself in Sarasota, FL.

y girlfriend and I both found her to be personable, patient, helpful, and extremely nice to work with. She asked me about my daughter's upcoming wedding, and noted that I am on a fairly tight timeline, since my daughter just became engaged, and is getting married in 6 months. She showed me a variety of beautiful dresses, and as I narrowed down my selections was very patient in having me try my faves on again. She even contacted the dress vendor, to make sure she could get the dress in time that I can get it and have it altered at their shop before I head North again in the Spring. The Perfect Dress carries beautiful Mother of the Bride Dress lines, and the experts are knowledgable and really fun to work with. I highly recommend this shop!

ul experience as your wedding dress shopping experience. I ordered my dream dress from here and was willing to drive 1.5 hours for fittings etc. because the dress store where I originally found it at had terrible customer service. I also came back and bought a 2nd dress for a 2nd (covid) wedding ceremony, spending a total of about $2,500 at this point. However, when it came time to do the fittings, everything went wrong. I was told I would have to pay almost $700 in alterations for the original dress (after they “estimated” it would be $400) because it was so big that they would have to take in the entire side seams – even the seamstress was surprised as to why it would be ordered so big. When I tried to ask why so much for alterations and why the dress was ordered so big, the manager Kim stepped in and was extremely rude and defensive (after I said I DIDN’T need a manager, just wanted to see the size chart to understand how they ordered the dress based on my measurements). I left extremely disappointed because that was such a wasted appointment, but that was just the beginning. Kim tried to remedy the issue by making several false promises. She wanted me to drive the dress back up to Sarasota the next day, leave it in an unlocked storage outside the store and trust that I’d get a replacement in time because she could order a new size “with rush shipping”. After making ME pay for overnight shipping, she did NOT put it in as overnight shipping and so the dress would not be there for another few weeks. She also failed to mention that the designer wouldn’t ship the new size until they got the old one back, resulting in more shipping time and never a possibility for “overnight” shipping. This all resulted in me canceling plans for other wedding planning things and missing work to make that 3 hr round trip drive to Sarasota 3-4 times in a 2-week span, which was continuously a waste of time because every time I arrived no one seemed to know what was going on. DO NOT TRUST KIM! Because she had messed up so bad, Trillian, one of the owners stepped in to try to help. She also made things worse. She was extremely rude and just wanted to argue with me, even saying that THEY bent over backwards to help me….?! I had spent over $2,500 at this point and drove up there so many times to try to make their “solutions” work. In the end, there was NO solution and NO DRESS because the right sized dress was NOT going to arrive in time for my wedding (even though they made me pay for overnight shipping). I ended up returning both dresses because my original dream dress was not going to happen for my wedding and I couldn’t even think about wearing any dress from this store. Because of all this, I ended up getting a $100 dress one week before my wedding and doing MY OWN alterations. Now I’ve ordered my original dream dress for my 2nd (covid) wedding from a WAY better store that actually understands customer service and is not just in it for the money. The only positive thing is that they have consultants and other people that do know what customer service is, hopefully the owners/managers can learn a few things from them! My advice if you do go here - they do have a large selection so find your dress and then order it elsewhere!
