Lori is INCREDIBLE! During our initial meeting, she put our minds at ease and also helped point out details we hadn't even considered to think about. She helped keep us on track during the hectic planning process. On the day-of, Lori was a sort of magical wedding fairy, taking flowers/decorations from one room and repurposing them in the next before anyone had a chance to see her do it. She kept us on schedule and made sure everyone was comfortable, informed and happy from the first mimosa to the last dance!

Thank you isn’t adequate enough to convey how much we appreciated Lori’s hard work to make our day so perfect! Having Lori plan this party was by far the best decision we could have made. While it was plan Z, it was everything I could have wanted - being surrounded by the people that matter most to us...thanks to Lori! Within a very short time, she pulled everything we wanted together and orchestrated our big day to perfection! Lori’s attention to detail, accessibility and willingness to do whatever was asked truly made what was initially not a fun process during this pandemic, much more enjoyable and easy for us! Lori was incredible from start to finish. Her help in planning the day and with our vendors was invaluable. The day of the wedding, Lori was phenomenal. She kept everything moving and made sure all was set up and in order. She never stopped working the whole day. One of her talents that I appreciated the most was her ability to move flowers and decorations around as the day went on. She made sure that very space looked special. She has a great eye for decoration and wherever we were in the day, our surroundings looked great. I cannot sing her praises loudly enough.

I could not be more pleased and impressed with Lori Hemphill's work for our daughter's wedding. There are many details and vendors to keep track of, and our bride and groom and their mothers (with Lori's guidance) did a great job along the way, BUT---the real test comes on the day of the wedding. Lori was the complete coordinator, keeping all elements moving, on time, and making an event with 180 people on several floors of a building moving on schedule and with an ease that made it all feel like magic...just what you want for your daughter on her wedding day.

Lori SAVED OUR BACON!!!! We had our son's wedding and rehearsal dinner in our barn. The bride is an amazing organizer and was on top of everything , however, since the venue was our home...we wanted someone to take charge that day, so we hired Lori for her "day of" plan. Despite the name, Lori met with us a number of times prior the we wedding and she and the bride worked well together. She gave such great advice as to table sizes and spacing int he barn and was extremely responsive to texts and emails. However...the day of the wedding she was absolutely GOLDEN! A couple of the groomsmen were careless with their ties and suspenders and she was ON IT...then during the ceremony she took care of a barking dog and very judiciously arranged for a "surprise" bagpiper to entertain the crowd in between the wedding and during the photos. And finally...at the conclusion of dinner, while we were dancing the night away and saying good bye to the bride and groom, she removed the linens and table toppers, organized them, and the flowers so that the next day all we had to do was fold the tables and chairs for the rental company. I thought we were going to be up till 2am figuring that out. She also assisted with the caterer's left overs...packing them up and clearing their area... I have known Lori for a long time and am SO SO delighted that she had our back on that very important day. Thank you girl!!!

Our wedding day was perfect and that is all because of Lori and her planning! She made sure that we were on time with our timeline and was willing to step in anywhere we needed her. I truly appreciated how she coordinated our vendors and helped the day run smoothly. We had a large bridal party, so it was a handful to say the least coordinating all of our people on the day-of. Everything about our perfect wedding day went beautifully, and one of the biggest reasons why is because of our day-of coordinator: Lori! She is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! From start to finish Lori was so thoughtful, detail oriented, and compassionate about what our vision for our day was and bringing it to life. Throughout our time working with Lori she was a dream. She would send us checklists and outlines of our progress and what information and details we still needed to provide and accomplish. These reminders allowed us to review and tweak our vision to ensure that our day would be exactly the way we pictured it. She also provided us with some items for the venue like table numbers, props for set up, and even went out to buy our niece and nephew gifts to reward them for a job well done after they walked down the aisle as our ring bearers. We should note that Lori was so knowledgeable about working as a coordinator of an LGBT wedding as well. She was so kind and sensitive to the differences between a gay wedding and a more traditional wedding and we appreciated her sensitivity to this along the way. Lori is truly a part of our family now! We look forward to coming back and seeing her and catching up because she is just the type of person that you can’t get enough of! I would 100% recommend Lori to other brides. She is the real deal. Lori helped make wedding planning effortless. Working with Lori was such a delight. As soon as i hired her she stepped up to the plate and started working on my wedding day. We got a lot accomplished throughout our meetings and because Lori is very easy going and sweet, it was like meeting my friend for coffee. It just makes the planning process not as stressful. She coordinated with all my vendors and confirmed there arrival. She coordinated with my wedding venue on timelines so that everything lined up perfectly. Lori did our rehearsal and made sure all the bridal party new exactly what they were suppose to do. We had a lot of decor for the wedding so Lori set everything up at the venue perfectly. The day of wedding she brought a lovely assistant that was very helpful throughout my wedding day. She calmed my nerves with her sweet words of encouragement and brought me water when she saw that i was struggling in the heat and standing for pictures. Her lovely assistant steamed my dress and made sure i was ready to go. Lori was handling the vendors and setting everything up so i didn't have to worry. I could truly enjoy my wedding day and have a great time in the bridal suite getting ready with my girls knowing i was in great hands by Lori's team. After the wedding was all said and done, Lori still continued to go above and beyond to make sure everything was squared away with the venue and vendors. If you hire Lori as your wedding planner ( from one bride to another) "YOU will not be disappointed."

We are so happy that Lori and her assistant Michelle Rene were with us on our wedding day! While we were planning, Lori was very easy to contact and frequently touched base with us to check if we had any questions or if we needed suggestions. Lori was a pivotal part of our day, basically anticipating our needs before we even realized what they were! Her assistant made sure that the entire bridal party was dressed perfectly, ironing and steaming all of our dressing and even quickly repaired a groomsman’s jacket and a bridesmaid’s dress. Lori helped keep the event on schedule and was wonderful at directing the guests to the next part of the evening. She even packed all of our decorative items, which made clean up at the end of the night a breeze! Our day was wonderful and went off without a hitch and we know that was because of Lori! We honestly can’t thank Lori and her team enough!

We hired Lori early on in our process as our Day of Coordinator. She was definitely on top of everything, even going above and beyond just the "D.o.C." piece we hired her for, sending us documents to fill in and look at as we went along. She also met up with my husband and I about 3 months before we were suppose to at our venue walk-through just to A. meet face to face and B. get an idea of what our day would look like. We were very excited and had a game plan in place. When we got to our walk-through, Lori mentioned toward the end of our time there that she wouldn't be at our rehearsal and that her trusted co-worker, Karen, would be with us at that point. We were slightly frustrated because this was sprung on us last minute. It ended up being okay because our officiant ended up running the show that evening and Karen was just taking notes and making sure we knew when to walk. Something else that bothered my husband and I was that we had set a timeline in-line with what our photographer sent us and Lori took this timeline and changed it all around based on her experience. This took a bit of back and forth communication to fix, but we were able to get the timeline to where we wanted it based on our photographer's needs for the day. Our wedding day went pretty smoothly, but my husband and I agreed that Lori, while trying to be helpful, was also trying to be a bit more of a director to our other vendors and not giving them the space to do their jobs to the best of their ability which caused a little bit of stress because our team of vendors were very laid back like my husband and I are. I do want to thank Lori and Karen for bringing her "emergency kit" of supplies and steamer; Karen stayed in the house with the ladies and meticulously went over all 8 dresses (mine, bridal party, and MOB/MOG) steaming out wrinkles, clipping any loose strings, and cutting out the hanger loops. All-in-all, my husband and I are thankful for what Lori did for us, but wish a few things played out a little differently.

Lori was so great! She answered all of my questions throughout the year and helped me in my wedding planning to make it an easy process. On the day of our wedding, she ran the show! She and her assistant were great and actually kept a 22 person wedding party plus parents ahead of schedule! She also really allowed us to enjoy the day and took care of all the behind-the-scenes stuff without us knowing about most of it. I would recommend a day-of coordinator to every bride and would specifically recommend Lori! She was definitely our secret weapon to pulling off one hell of a wedding!

Lori helped make my wedding day effortless! During the entire planning process she was responsive and so helpful. I had a pretty elaborate day of plan and was worried I would be moving my guests around too much. Lori ensured me that my plan was doable and she helped everything go off without a hitch! Lori seamlessly helped guide the guests from the ceremony at a church, to the reception site were cocktail hour was in the court yard, dinner in the upstairs ball room and dancing/cake in the downstairs parlor room, and lastly to the after party across the street. I even had members of the wedding party come up to me after the wedding and say how awesome Lori was!

Lori was absolutely amazing! From day one, Lori was on top of it - answering questions, texts, phone calls and emails, not only from myself, but from my parents as well! She checked in with me periodically as the planning progressed, provided recommendations and necessary encouragement. As our wedding day got closer, she touched base with our vendors, created a weekend timeline and made sure everything ran smoothly. I don't know how I would have done it without her! The best thing about Lori was that she allowed me to step back enjoy our day and everything we worked so hard to plan. I cannot thank her enough!

WOW is the only way to describe my daughter’s wedding day. So much of that wow is because we had Lori, and her Perfect Plan. Her warm personality, sense of style, and especially her attention to detail is nothing short of amazing. Nothing is overlooked. The Perfect Plan By Lori Hemphill is an incredible party planning agency. We worked with Lori from the start to plan our wedding day. Throughout the entire process, she was responsive, accommodating and always thinking of the little details that slipped our minds. She attended all of our in-person meetings at the venue and always took detailed notes so I didn't have to. I like to think of myself as a very organized and in-control person, but without Lori's help to plan every step of our big day, it wouldn't have gone nearly as smoothly or wonderfully as it did. On the wedding day, we worked with both Lori and Karen. Even after meeting Karen for the first time, it felt like we knew her forever. Both were timely and professional and made sure everything was set up according to plan. Lori and Karen helped shepherd a very large wedding party and many family members through the day's activities and made sure everyone was where they needed to be at the appropriate time. There was so much behind the scenes work that was done, I have no idea how we would have managed without them! It was so nice to arrive at cocktail hour and see all of our tables beautifully set up with tasteful designs and layouts, all thanks to Lori and Karen! When the night came to an end, both Lori and Karen had everything packed up and loaded into our family's vehicles - it was painless and so nice not to worry about handling that type of stuff at the end of such a long and exciting day. Our personalized champagne glasses somehow managed to get cleared with the other glasses before the night was over, and while we were off enjoying our honeymoon, Lori was even able to track them down and get them back to us. The Perfect Plan by Lori Hemphill went above and beyond our expectations and we would recommend to anyone (even the most organized) looking for some help to manage the most important day of their lives!

We had such specific needs for a wedding planner. We wanted a gorgeous, elegant wedding and we needed someone to lead us in the right direction. Lori was laid backed and flexible which fit the needs of both my husband and I. She also was detail oriented, organized, and so helpful. She had so many resources and connections. We are so appreciative of all she did to make our day perfect. One of my favorite stories of the night, was when I walked over to Lori to ask if the lights could be turned down a bit. Literally, as the words were coming out of my mouth the lights were already going down. She was always one step ahead of me!

Lori and her assistant were great to work with from beginning to end! She helped guide us through time-lines and vendors. She put together hospitality bags for my out of town guests and assisted us with invitations, decorations and menus. The day of the wedding, she was fantastic in keeping us all on time and overseeing the many vendors coming in and out preparing for the event. At the end of the event, she helped us clean up and gather our things. We were so glad we had Lori. When it came to selecting our Day of Coordinator I could think of no one other than Lori Hemphill! She is a family friend, but beyond that she has an amazing eye for design and is outstandingly organized. I was the first to get married in my family and Lori was very helpful in providing me with the checklists and questions necessary to bring my ideas to life. Throughout the planning process she was there for me to bounce ideas off of, and she also checked in regularly to make sure I was booking vendors and completing my checklist as the months rolled by. The month before the wedding she attended our final meeting with our vendor and caterer and asked the questions that I would never have thought to ask, it was so helpful to have her by my side through the planning process. Before our rehearsal she came to help us set up all of our centerpieces and other decorations throughout the venue. She lent her design skills in our guest book display table, escort card display and ceremony space. She also pulled decorations from her personal stash to help us enhance the rustic theme we used for our wedding. During the rehearsal, she and her assistant Karen organized and directed our bridal party and parents, and helped to give everyone a schedule of the events of the day. On our wedding day Lori routinely checked in with both sides of the bridal party, and each of our vendors to ensure we were running on time. When we had to make the call to move our ceremony inside, Lori and Karen worked together with our venue coordinators to stage and decorate the space to make it as beautiful as the outdoor space we had originally planned to use! Throughout the reception both Lori and Karen check in with my husband and I remind of us of special moments (special dances/ cake cutting and sunset pictures) and also to see if we needed a drink or any food. At the end of the night, as my husband and I said farewells to our guests, both ladies were amazingly helpful in collecting all of our decorations and packing everything into our cars. To say we could not have gotten through our wedding day without Lori and Karen is an understatement. It was so helpful to have someone there to keep us on time and organized all the way through the end of our wedding day. Even though we did a lot of DIY for our wedding, it was very helpful to have someone in charge on the day to take the pressure off of my family and bridal party!

Lori Hemphill and The Perfect Plan rock! My daughter and son-in-law (!) utilized Lori for ‘day of’ coverage. Day of coverage is much more than Lori and assistant Karen showing up for the ceremony and reception. For Lori day of coverage is much more the showing up for one day. Lori met with the bride and groom months prior, getting a feel for the couple, their budget, must-haves, needs, wants, and if only… Lori provided lists and ideas for the couple. Then she checked regularly with the couple on progress including venues, flowers, catering, rentals, music among other details e.g. do we need extension cords for the backlighting? will the backlighting blow the fuses in the historic building? does the dj bring handheld and lapel mics to the ceremony? who knew you can rent 7’ plants and that SKH delivers? Lori knows. Lori and the couple did walk throughs and met with the caterer. Lori nudged an occasional late responder and gave useful advice to the couple and me, MOB. These and others are reasons to select Lori Hemphill and The Perfect Plan. Lori is accessible, easy going, and responsive. Additionally, on the ‘days of’ Lori guided the events with a firm, fun, and confident hand. Yes, Lori rocks and comes highly recommended, terrific ROI (return on investment).

YES PERFECT IS THE WORD to describe Lori. She was the day of coordinator for my daughter's wedding and if you want your the "big day" to run smoothly without surprises and glitches Lori is the one for the job. From her calming manner and terrific personality to her expertise in handling those last minute details, that no one thinks about, makes her an invaluable addition to your wedding day. She comes prepared to handle everything from coordinating your guests for transportation, fixing wardrobe malfunctions, to getting us all including the groomsmen(complete with perfectly tied bow ties and straight bouts) to the church and down the aisle on time. I did not have to think about anything but enjoying the day and the special moments with my daughter as she was getting dressed with her bridesmaids. Our photographer even commented that our bridal suite had the most chilled out and pleasant vibe, not at all what he was used to. Lori brought 25+ years of event planning experience to our daughter's wedding to make it the Perfect Day. She helped us pull a wedding together on very short notice so that we could include the groom's father. She was very understanding of such a tenuous situation, a wonderful shoulder to lean on. Her connection with wedding vendors in the area is extensive and she had wonderful recommendations from the minister to where to buy dresses off the rack. Having her plan out and implement the day from start to finish, including the rehearsal was wonderful. We appreciated how easy it was to communicate with her, and her responses were always very quick, even when her schedule was very full and busy. She made us feel that our daughter's wedding was every bit as important as all other events she was working on. Her special day ran very smoothly from the morning preparations, through the ceremony, till the closing song at the reception. We used Lori Hemphill to help us plan my daughter's wedding. She was filled with great ideas, lots of energy and fun, and thought of many details that I would have overlooked. I would never do a wedding without her. The planning was superb but even better was her dedication to us the week and day of the wedding! I was able to enjoy the wedding as much as my daughter and knew that she had it under control and kept everything running smoothly. I would not have changed a thing!! I did not find her fees expensive, and in my opinion, she was worth every penny and then some! Great Job Lori!!!

I do not know how many brides can say their wedding day was the most care-free and enjoyable days of their lives, but I certainly can - all thanks to Lori and her fantastic team. They proved the "Perfect" in their title is well deserved. My family and I agree that Lori was the best investment we made in the entire wedding. Lori was there for us from the beginning. She offers a variety of packages, and I chose one that included coordination and assistance with the planning process. I did the picking, and she helped guide me to keep me on track and made recommendations and suggestions. This was very important, as I was planning the wedding from Washington, DC. She kept site visits running smoothly and joined me for a few of the vendor visits as well. When the craziness of the week before the wedding began to set in, she took the helm, handling last-minute vendor coordination and putting together a phenomenal schedule for everyone. From start to finish, I never had to worry about a thing on my wedding day! Lori took care of making sure the reception was set up and perfectly decorated, while her assistant joined us for hair, make-up, and getting dressed. The assistant even had a coloring book on hand to keep my very rambunctious flower girl entertained. Lori kept the event (which we were told by MANY friends and family was the best they'd ever been to... thanks in large part to Lori) running very smoothly. They went above and beyond, even helping to pat me down with some small towels when I got sweaty on the dance floor (not in front of the guests of course). A testament to how great Lori was: My sister said that the FIRST thing she will do when she is engaged (she isn't even dating at this point...) will be to call Lori.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE...Lori! She is a "must have" for any bride. I hired Lori for not only the day of coordinating...but the whole planning process. She attended all my vendor meetings with me such as the florist, invitation designer, reception hall, cake decorater, etc. She has years of experience in interior design and the wedding industry, so she brings a level of expertise that not many people can offer. Planning a wedding can cause a bride to go on an emotional roller coaster. Lori was always a "phone call" away to calm me down and put everything back into perspective..or to celebrate good news! On the day of the wedding she had a couple very sweet assistants working with her to make sure everything went smoothly. I don't know what I would have done without Lori's help during the planning process & the day of the wedding. Our wedding turned out to be absolutely stunning and I didn't have to worry about a thing! Thank you Lori for everything...you are an angel! The Sullivans XXXOOO
