They refuse to pay their employees. I was cussed out and ridiculed by the owner after trying to get my check today. It's been a month and a half and they still won't pay me. I missed Christmas and all.
TLDR summary:
I do not recommend The Perfect Touch after my experience with them in planning my February 2020 wedding. They were unorganized, unprofessional, missed countless deadlines, and were defensive/hostile to work with. They promised items that did not exist in their inventory, made substitutions without discussion or approval from me, tried to charge me for their mistakes, in general made significant mistakes in documentation and delivery of my requests, had under-trained and non-responsive staff, and told me they'd see me in court if I went public with my experience through reviews and media. The list of things they did wrong is very long but, overall, The Perfect Touch was not reliable and made the experience extremely negative for me. No bride should have to endure the level of stress, chaos, and disrespect that I was faced with in working with them. There are many options of rental companies in Houston, I would not choose The Perfect Touch. See FB or Google for the full version with details.
Perfect touch did an amazing job with the flowers and decorations at my wedding! Jessie was an absolute pleasure to work with and made the entire process very easy. He really listened to what we wanted and came up with some beautiful and creative ideas that perfectly matched our style. Highly recommend working with both him and The Perfect Touch team for your big day.
I met with The Perfect Touch over a year prior to my wedding to select linen and decor. They had everything I wanted at an affordable price so I was super excited! I selected my chargers, linen, napkins, napkin rings, and ensured I had enough items to provide for a guest count of 400. Once I received my invoice, some of the pricing was changed from what was told in store by the owner. When I asked about this price difference, I was told by the owner that in order to honor the prices told to me in person, I would need to pay my total invoice in cash...which I agreed because the napkin ring I desperately wanted. The owner also assured me that since I came so early to select linen and decor that it would be plenty of time to get everything we selected for the wedding.
Fast forward to TWO WEEKS before my wedding when I go in to review the final linen and update guest count. The Perfect Touch didn't have enough of ANY of the items I selected well over a year ago!! They never contacted me to tell me there were not enough linen or decor that we selected. So, I had to change my linen, most of which were much more expensive than originally selected...and they company did NOT try to offer the linen at the same price. To make matters worse, the napkin ring that I wanted and essentially had to pay a cash invoice for, was short in the quantity needed!! I was furious!! So not only were they lacking the linen selected, they had me pay a cash invoice for napkin rings they did NOT have!
The week of my wedding, I get an email stating that a shipment of the napkin rings were coming in and would be available for my wedding....well, I get to my wedding and NOPE, not the napkin rings. I contact the company and the tell me that the shipment was delayed...they NEVER called to tell me that!!
After paying that much money IN CASH, I was very disappointed with the service and lack of communication. I will not be recommending this company to anyone!
Savannah was amazing. She immediately understood my vision for my wedding in less than 10 minutes of our meeting. The day of my wedding was exactly how I pictured it and a wonderful reflection of my husband and me. She made my wedding day a breeze because I didn't have to worry about anything. All I had to do was show-up. I would highly recommend her for any event.
On the day of my wedding, everything looked great! Now...getting to this point was a challenge but they pulled it off. We worked with Jessie and he is talented. Now, the responsiveness and follow through can be a bit stressful. You have to constantly reach out, call, email and then you only have to deal with the receptionist usually. We finally had a long final meeting with him and I was satisfied. Again, it turned out beautiful but you will have to constantly reach out. It was beautiful.
Working with Shelly was great until she moved on. Coral is very nice but had to send multiple emails of exactly I wanted once Shelly left. My bouquet was beautiful as well as my bridesmaids. The centerpiece was stunning for my ceremony. The center pieces for the tables were perfect and flowers looked gorgeous.
Complaints:
*Grandmas corsage ruined after ceremony (so less than 1 hour)
*We found pins sticking up from flower girl pomander-- pins hold flowers in place; however we shouldn't have had any sticking out. My niece was 1 years old so that was scary. Also was promised a ribbon with baby's breath flowers on it. We received it separately.
*Boutonnieres were frayed.
*Cake table was left for my wedding coordinator to design
I tried to email and call perfect touch to give them an opportunity to make this right. They emailed me back without taking any responsibility. The owner was supposed to call me to discuss. Needless to say over a month later, I have not heard back.
Pick another florist who wants to take ownership and keep customers. I was disappointed in their customer service and lack of ownership.
They did my wedding in October and I was BLOWN AWAY. Beautiful customach floral work within my very specific budget, friendly service, and lots of selection. They're also really central in Houston, so I could stop in the showroom to talk to their super friendly staff if I had any questions. Everything looked so beautiful and came together without a hitch. Couldn't be happier, highly recomend them to anyone who needs event design
I visited multiple vendors and The Perfect Touch were the ones that stood out to us! I liked that they had it all (my personals, ceremony and reception floral arrangements, decor centerpieces, draping, uplighting, lots of linens to choose from, and furniture). Their floral designer was very helpful in making sure they got my vision right and they pretty much worked with my budget, something most vendors had trouble trying to adjust to. Most of the time they were pretty good about getting back to me if I had any questions. Everything came together day of my wedding. And although it was pouring outside these guys made my wedding unforgettable. Just make sure you are clear about what you want and what budget you are working with. My sister is getting married next year, so I am definitely coming to them for that!
The Perfect Touch is my all time favorite vendor! They're a fantastic one-stop-shop for everything you'd need to decorate a space (linens, flowers, furniture, etc) and they're really centrally located in Houston. They're super friendly and prompt to respond to emails or inquiries, and they're always able to answer my questions. When you go in, be sure to bring your Pinterest boards and all your inspo, it helps so much! They put together amaaaaazing floral arrangements, in any style! I had a few modern events, some more traditional, and even planned a South East Asian wedding and they had every single thing I needed! I love Vik and his team, and I highly recommend them. Great vendors and really competitively priced. They make all my brides feel confident in the quality of the work, and I can't thank them enough for that. Definitely recommend anyone to book with them :)
I absolutely loved The Perfect Touch! They did floral arrangements for my ceremony and my bouquet as well my centerpieces for my reception and I have to say these guys do not mess around! The design work was absolutely stunning and way better than I had imagined it. I wold suggest going in for your appointment and bringing in ideas and your Pinterest board. Helps a lot! Vik and his staff also made the process very stress free! I'd highly recommend them!
We used The Perfect Touch for floral arrangements at our wedding on January 14, 2017. Our order included 22 centerpieces, 1 bridal bouquet, greenery for our ceremony, flowers for the cake, and 1 boutonniere for the groom. Everything was absolutely beautiful, high quality, and delivered to our vendor with no problems.
We initially contacted The Perfect Touch just 18 days before our wedding via their online web form and they quickly picked up our inquiry and had no problem working on our short timeline. Amy was great in helping us to make our arrangement selections in just one meeting and was flexible when after our consultation we called back to add flowers for the cake to our quote and to change the number of centerpieces. All Amy asked for was that we send a picture of the vision we had for the cake flowers and she sent us the adjusted quote about an hour later.
We thought the price was reasonable, including the delivery fee. However, we did choose to pay via check rather than credit card to avoid a credit card surcharge fee. We originally planned to take a DIY approach to florals and our budget for that was $650, while our total bill with The Perfect Touch amounted to closer to $1,100 we were never pressured to buy more than we wanted and the professional service was absolutely worth the price.
The bottom line is that we would absolutely recommend The Perfect Touch and we would be happy to use their services again should we require floral arrangements for another event.
The floral arrangements were very pretty! I have no complaint about that at all! My cake flowers didn't arrive, and they may have been able to provide me with cake flowers but the power was out the day of the wedding, everyone was frantic and so the florist was not able to find anyone to make sure everything was perfect. I believe they would have been able to find my cake flowers if everyone wasn't so panicked. Some of my compotes that I provided them were not used, and some arrangements were not like we had discussed, however, after speaking with them they were very apologetic and were quick to offer a refund. Be clear with what you want, provide pictures, make sure everyone is on the same page and you will have no problem at all.
Excellent customer service by Vik and his staff. They scheduled my appointment over the phone. When I showed up, someone was ready with my file and details about my wedding and theme! very professional and nice to know that these folks actually care about my event. I booked a package with them recently and have been to their showroom multiple times to browse. Id certainly recommend a tour
Throughout our contract with Perfect Touch I worked with Cortiss who I met at their booth at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza. She was so nice and full disclosure about how they work and pricing. I got an amazing deal through the bridal show that included any type of linen, chargers, cloth napkins and chair sashes for every table for $70 a table- a GREAT DEAL! We got to set up an appointment and play around with all the decor in their showroom and Cortiss was so fun and helpful to work with! My amazing wedding coordinator took care of all the day-of details but once I saw the venue The Perfect Touch literally made it look perfect; she said the staff came in and knew exactly what I had requested and they took care of everything down to tying the sashes and laying napkins a certain way. At the end of the night they came and took all the decor away -so easy, so beautiful the decor was amazing!
Very prompt service with pricing and bringing me in for a consultation. Large variety of items to choose from
They have a great variety of colors to choose from. Very professional sales staff especially Shelly who helped me build the perfect floral package within my budget
We are still trying to get a call back from the owner/manger, Vic, about how disappointed we were with your service for our wedding last Saturday. You were 2 1/2 hours late having the chairs and linens delivered, not to mention the chairs were not in the great condition you promised. You also were nearly 2 hours late picking up, which you can imagine was a huge inconvenience as the bride had to wait at the church until everything was completed , which also resulted in us having to pay more money. We have been trying to get Vic to call for a week now. Your lack of communication is truly upsetting. Please have him call us asap. He has the number as I have called every day. Thank you.
WARNING: From the very beginning of my interaction with perfect touch it was clear they only cared about money. I'm just a bride that was trying to plan my wedding, without the help of a wedding planner, and the owner interrupted my initial consultation and throughout the process continuously tried to squeeze more money out of me and guilt me when I was already paying them a lot of money. The consultants were helpful, but would promise discounts as our wedding was on a Sunday and discounts are to be expected on less demanding event days, but then the owner Vick would come back and say that we weren't giving them enough money (we paid well over a few thousand for their services) so then he would not allow the discount. Also, we paid for a gobo (initials in lights on dance floor) which I would have gladly paid anyone else double if it could guarantee we would actually have it and the gobo was NEVER displayed at our wedding which was hugely disappointing because we had a large dance floor. It is black and white that they did not provide that service so we assumed we would obviously be reimbursed as we PAID for a service that we did not receive and after being told that they would have to check to see what happened, and after I offered all of our wedding pictures to prove no gobo, the perfect touch has since stopped answering my phone calls and emails. I was completely shocked, we paid them a lot of money and they did not provide services they were contracted to do. Extremely unprofessional and I warn any bride to think twice before dealing with them as they obviously are not concerned about holding up their end of a contract, but will still charge you and keep your money.
We used The Perfect Touch Linens as part of a packaged with our wedding venue for our decor and flowers, and are so glad we did!
They have an abundance of choices for linens, centerpieces, furniture, lighting, etc. Most of our decor was included in our package but the items we added were reasonably priced.
The flowers were gorgeous and just what I wanted.
We met once with the manager and his assistant to go over the decor/linen choices, and came back another day to discuss flower choices. While looking at the linens, they were able to create a full table of what I wanted to show me what it would look like all put together. When we picked out the flowers they showed me some examples of recent pieces they had done for a wedding so I could see the style.
Everyone was very easy to work with, and I was in close touch the week of to make sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this company for all your decor and flower needs - our wedding turned out beautiful!!
I did book rather close to my wedding and selected items in stock. They had a decent linen (color) variety and were helpful showing me several options at my last minute appointment. I went over with Mehak a chair bow I had found on pinterest, she tied it the same way and took a photo of the chair sash , then made a notation on my paperwork that she had a photo for the chair sash bow.
Once at the reception, I turned around to my chair excited to show my new husband how it was decorated and immediately I was disappointed by the chair bow. It was the little details I worked hard to put together that helped make the reception pretty. So seeing one NOT as it should be was frustrating. It was nothing more than a boring (not pretty) side bow at the top of the chair. They did not even try for the diagonal sash with a bow that I had gone over with them and was on my contract. I paid $100 for a delivery fee; I expected things to be set up correctly. I HONESTLY WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN THE CHAIR SASHES HAD I KNOWN I WOULD GET THAT BOW. They were a complete disappointment as our chairs were the only chairs to receive sashes.
My guests received the standard silver chargers; several of them were chipped/scratched up. That was a little disappointing also. I am still glad I got them, but maybe they need to do better quality control.
I emailed Mehak two days after my wedding and did not receive a response. My planner even said she emailed her.
If she would have responded, I would have given another star. However, because of the lack of courtesy to provide a response to the issue, they get 1 star less.
We used Perfect Touch Linen for our Wedding. Mehak was very nice and pleasant to work with.
While the linens looked beautiful, they are not the only game in town. I will never use the again and will not recommend them to anyone. We were told they needed 2 hours to set up the linens for 100 guests. We booked the time with our venue, paid an extra $100.00 for the extra rental time. The Perfect Touch went to Magnolia instead of Galveston and were two hours late. All other contractors had to wait on them – cake, flowers, caterer, everyone. We even paid The Perfect Touch an extra $100.00 to go to Galveston, an out of Houston fee. In addition, I had asked them not to take my one personal table cloth when they were cleaning. They took it. When I talked to Vik, he was not apologetic in any way. I was looking to get a refund for the extra time at the venue and my table cloth. He was rude and disrespectful. DO NOT USE THEM! There are many other linen vendors with the exact same items in the area.
Beautiful options for linens, candelabras, uplights, Gobo lights, table numbers, and chargers. We had a formal wedding and needed formal options for our tables. Mahek was helpful with showing us examples and offering ideas. We had few scheduling issues, but we worked them out quickly. Quality products and knowledgeable staff. They are a bit pricey, but worth it. The final presentation of everything in the ballroom was exquisite.
From a price standpoint, perfect touch and Vic are very competitive. Compared to other floral/wedding vendors, they have a lot more Indian decoration options. If they show up and setup on time, they will provide very good decoration.
Our wedding floral/decoration package was very expensive because we wanted a lot of details and we wanted it perfect. The perfect touch has high quality products, but they are extremely unorganized. They lost our church address and did not show up for the ceremony on time. No bouquets, floral, nothing. They showed up just in time (thank god), so my bride could at least have her bouquet. The church waited for almost an hour for them to show up, then the priest said we have to start. You can see in our video bridal party walking in with nothing, plain church. The video shows my bride crying and the bridal party walking in really slow on purpose so they could buy my bride more time for the perfect touch truck to show up. The video shows her about to walk in, the truck shows up, and her brother runs outside and grabs the bouquet for her just in time. If one of the bridal party would have walked in faster or the truck missed a light, she would have walked in without a bouquet.
After the church incident, it kept going downhill. Our wedding was at a high end luxurious country club. Perfect touch fell behind and didn’t finish the reception decoration in time and were still setting up while the guest showed up. The country club actually asked them to leave since guest were already there. Perfect touch left without finishing the decoration. Then to put the icing on the cake, the swing perfect touch installed was not done right and my bride fell off of it during the reception.
Couple of good things, the things there were able to do, looked nice. Vic did refund us for the falling swing, and everything he was not able to do right. We appreciate that, but that doesn’t give us the day back, or take away the stress. We were not able to enjoy the wedding at all, because of all the stress they gave us. Vic is a good person, but he is not fit to run a wedding business. Things can and will go wrong on your wedding. With perfect touch, you increase the risk a lot. There are other vendors, find someone else, stay away from the perfect touch linens. Don’t ruin your wedding day.
The Perfect Touch has some very beautiful linens and rentals. However, my only complaint is that they did not show up on time during setup for my wedding.
They had a variety of options to choose from and were very willing to accommodate any budget.
I worked with Jessica from the very beginning, even though I thought the linens were a bit pricey. I do not regret it one bit, they made the room completely beautiful. She worked with my budget as much as she could, and the day of the wedding the linens gave an entire new look at the room. I fell in love with the colors Jessica helped me choose. I will certainly be using them again!
The table linen, chair covers, saches and centerpieces were awesome! The Tiffany centerpieces were the talk of the event. They transformed the venue from banquet to royal. They also provided the uplights and GOBO.
Beautiful arrangements for our wedding!! Everyone was in love with our centerpieces and bouquets!! Recommend Linda a thousand times to anyone looking for a florist!!! Very detailed in getting your vision to come to life!! Truly live up to their name..The Perfect Touch..it most def was!
We got our chiavari chairs, linens and chargers from them and we couldn't be happier. They were classy and affordable. DeAnn was always great!
Perfect touch is a lovely place with great nice items but their customer service lacks a bit. Overall I was pleased but there were issues that I feel I shouldn't have delt with and could have been accommodated for.
The Perfect Touch Linen provided my linen and a few of my centerpieces. They were extremely accommodating and patient with me especially when the week prior to my event I kept changing my numbers. When I was having trouble finding linen that fit my color scheme, that had everything I needed.
