The Pines Resort has a variety of wedding ceremony and reception options. You can choose to have your event outdoors, lakefront on Gazebo Lawn with an attached Gazebo Deck, all overlooking the beautiful Bass Lake! Or you may prefer one of the many indoor locations with breathtaking mountain & lake views. Lodging is also available on the property and ranges from richly appointed lakeside Suites to cozy two-story Chalet cabins. Ducey's on the Lake Steakhouse, along with Ducey's Bar & Grill, offer something for every taste bud, and The Pines Bar & Pines Market add the perfect compliment to your weekend stay. s fabulous. Easing our minds during stressful situations (aka possibility of rain). One amazing thing about this venue is how willing they are to work with you. It was projected to rain during our ceremony and The Pines was doing everything possible to make sure our day was going to be just as special. They have multiple options if there will be rain, and that is definitely a plus! I ended up not raining and the views were gorgeous.
We had our rehearsal dinner at Ducy’s and it was so fun for our family to mingle and hang out together. Ducy’s also catered the wedding and the food was phenomenal. We have gotten so many compliments.
The girls got ready in a suite and the boys got ready in a chalet.

I’ve received so many calls and texts post wedding to tell me how beautiful it was and how amazing the food was. Chef did a perfect job. I can’t express how grateful I am to have people who truly cared about my big day and who seem to truly enjoy their job. I’m sad my wedding is already over but it truly could not have gone any smoother thanks to the wonderful people at The Pines. They made sure that everyone in our party was taken care of and that my self and my husband had anything and everything that we needed. The bartender and wait staff the night of the wedding were very fun and had really great energy. The food was AMAZING. Our guests are still talking about it. If your wondering if you should get married at The Pines, just do it. You wont be disappointed and you will be supported by their staff all the way to the end. ost two years to plan. When I couldn't find the right flower vendor she found me the PERFECT match because she listened to me and saw my vision. Her understanding of this vision also made my day of look EXACTLY like what I had envisioned. The food was amazing, the space and decor were amazing, the views were amazing, the staff was amazing and the entire process went great! We also hosted a Friday night welcome reception for all 125 of our guests with heavy apps and smores at the fire pit. Honestly, we had many friends and family tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. With those instructions provided to them, they exceeded our expectations, I mean - our decorations, flowers, everything was absolutely stunning!!! We were pleasantly surprised. THIS PLACE IS MAGICAL in itself and the service is exceptional. Also to add, My husband is Korean and I am Indian. We requested some of those flavors, and they were accommodating towards our culture/food. On the day of the wedding, everything went smooth and we just overall felt so grateful for such a wonderful experience. She can help you figure out whatever you may need, steer you in the right direction, and calm you down if your spazzing out like I was occasionally. Their food was fantastic, as was the service and care we received. All staff went above and beyond for us and our guests. Our guests were talking for weeks after about how wonderful their stay was, how good the food was, how gorgeous the views were, etc. etc. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The Pines was an excellent venue for both the ceremony and reception. All of our guests loved how close everything was in proximity, the options to share cabins or hotel rooms, the options of food choices, restaurant, bar or cook your own meals...
. These options allowed our guest to come join the fun no matter what their budget was. September weather and changing leaf colors provided a perfect backdrop for an outside wedding. The on site coordinator, Jessica was absolutely amazing as well. She was always within eye shot to my husband or eye during the reception to cater anything we needed. She truly helped make it special.

You're on your own here...location was great, but the details leading up to the big day are not shared, communicated by the coordinator until the big day (wasted a lot of time on details that "had I known", wouldn't have). Cost not suppportive of service, lodging or location.

nd late-night karaoke hour. It would cost an additional $2,500 to have an hour-long, outdoor ceremony at the wedding lawn of Ducey's, which I thought was ridiculous. I was assured by the ladies at The Pines there would be an outdoor venue built by my wedding (which was 16 months away at this point). Long story short, no outdoor venue was completed, even though they had sent several e-mails to me about different plans they were making (including pictures of a gazebo they were supposedly in the process of purchasing), all with assurances there would be an option for an outdoor ceremony. I was very irritated they had "led me on", but oh,well. The day of the actual wedding there was a mad, last-minute scramble for a projector for our slideshow (their projector was broken, unbeknownst to the wedding planner), a HUGE line at the bar (there were no servers provided to pour wine at the tables as we had originally planned for), and several wait staff members with attitudes. On the plus side, the food was EXCELLENT (several people commented it was the best they every had at a wedding), and in the end all of our technology needs were met. If you have your heart set on getting married at Bass Lake, and you don't mind having an outdoor reception (which will be required to end no later than 10:00), get the wedding lawn down at Ducey's, skip the nonsense at The Pines. I was a very happy bride at the end of the day, and didn't let these things bother me during our special event, but I was very unimpressed with the organization and professionalism of The Pines Resort.
We had our wedding at the Pines in mid-May. The bartender was great. Everyone told us the food was awesome. Overall, we had a great experience here.
