The Pines Weddings & Events

We rented The Pines Black for our wedding, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The venue is beautifully decorated and requires minimal additional decor. The girls' getting-ready suite is filled with natural light and is charmingly decorated. The guys enjoyed the golf simulator while getting ready in the morning. The outdoor area is also fantastic for gathering and playing games.

We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding day! Lisa was phenomenal to work with and did such a great job making sure everything was organized and ready for our day. We were able to schedule an appointment to stop in the venue any time we needed which was very helpful for planning. The venue is beautiful and they have done a great job keeping it clean and beautifully rustic. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a reception just outside of West Fargo!

Our ceremony and reception were held at The Pines White. We immediately knew The Pines was our number one choice the minute we pulled up. The farmhouse was clean and well kept. The inside of the Pines is very beautiful and does not need a lot of decorations which is a huge benefit when planning. Once we booked, the hardest thing was trying to find his and her cocktails they could make (No mimosas, bellinis, mojitos, etc.) It was more of a conversation of them only having certain things and if you don’t pick from that list, they will tell you “No”, so be prepared. There were some staffing changes during the wedding planning process, but once I was able to get in contact with my new person, they were immediately responsive. Even leading up to the wedding we had not ideal wedding weather (yay, a blizzard) and they helped answer all my questions ALL hours of the day/night. Due to the first blizzard of the year, we as the couple had a lot of hoops to jump through leading up to the event that week. They were very accommodating over text leading up the day but then when it got to the set-up day, they seemed annoyed and hesitant with us being out there. With that being the package we paid for, we expected to be out there no matter the weather unless we could do some sort of reimbursement. Luckily, we were able to be out there for our scheduled time (starting an hour later due to weather) we ended on our originally planned time. I felt that helped them considering we still had another hour we could have been out there due to our contract. I’m assuming sour moods were due to weather which as the bride I can’t control and trust me was not my first option either. The only disappointing part of the entire process was the rehearsal the day before with the weather and the cocktail issue while planning. When it came to day of it was beautiful and had no complaints. They were helpful and seemed to be in a good mood considering the day before and venue is of course gorgeous. The drinks were fabulous even with it not being my original choices and everyone loved the event. They even allowed us to use the other venue for our photos so we could have more variety in our photos due to weather which I appreciated a lot! Overall, we had a good experience other then a few sour moods the day before the event.

The Pines was the most amazing venue. After finding the Venue on Instagram, I knew it is where I wanted to get married. Every single communication and step of the planning process was amazing thanks to the amazing staff at The Pines. No matter how small a question was, staff was always there to make sure I got what I needed. The planning process was so much less stressful that I thought it was going to be thanks to the Staff at The Pines. The wedding and reception were more than I could have dreamed of!
