e thorough with every meeting you have during your planning process and leave no lingering questions. I left every meeting feeling calm and like my thoughts were heard. I opted for a slight upcharge floral arrangement (pictures attached) and Doug blew it out of the water! The table centerpieces were also exactly what I asked for. Almost every request I had, no matter how small or ridiculous, was met with an instant yes. Jess is an absolute POWERHOUSE wedding planner/day of coordinator! She made my wedding morning, afternoon, and evening go off without any issues…And if there were issues, I didn’t know about them because she immediately fixed the problem. The only thing I was unsure about leading up to the wedding were the food choices I selected during our tasting. I was afraid the roast beef and chicken would be dry…But I am happy to say was I proven very wrong!! People are still talking about how amazing the food was. (You should definitely upgrade to the sausage and tortellini pasta). I suggest booking the house - it made our wedding night so much easier because staff brought leftover food and alcohol over to us after the wedding was over. From start to finish The Place made every single one of my wishes come true and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

The owners, Audrey and Doug are the sweetest, most genuine people you will ever meet and all they want is for your dreams to come true, and they did just that! I adore them! The main coordinator, Jess is absolutely amazing and is the perfect piece to this puzzle, she took care of every and anything needed the day of and seriously was on point for all of the planning sessions! I love her! The rest of the staff is like a well oiled machine and all work so well together, so we also have to thank them and all their hard work and how pleasant and professional they were - the great additional planning/coordinating staff, the fun bartenders, the lovely girls the day of who frequently checked in with me to make sure I was okay or if I needed anything and everyone behind the scenes. I could go on and on about this place and all the wonderful things they do. The communication they have with you throughout the entire process is top of the line. The planning sessions are so precise and they cover it all. They listen to what you want and will do whatever they can to make your visions come to life. It takes so much stress off of you with them handling all the details, it's such a blessing! This made the wedding day flawless knowing I had nothing to worry about and we could really just enjoy our day. They are the best, most beautiful venue to have your special day at with many options and we wish we could do the entire day all over again, that's how much we loved it! They truly delivered and then some. This will forever be the best decision we ever made and the best day of our lives! Even our guests have nothing but amazing things to say about this place and our wedding! We couldn't have asked for a better day and my sincere thanks goes out to The Place at 534, I will forever recommend them and brag any chance I get!

All the vendors they recommended were all excellent as well! Definitely reach out if you’re getting married soon and want a super easy all inclusive option!!

l of their staff was incredible. On our wedding day there was scattered showers all day but I was determined to get married outside. Jess had umbrellas and blankets ready for the whole wedding party and guests. They also had the option to move inside up until about 1-2 hours before the start of the ceremony. I absolutely loved the amount of work that this place puts into the planning process to make it easier for the bride and groom. I am not a picky or particular person so the thought of having to make a million decisions on every little detail was something I was dreading. I loved that I was able to give Jess a few details on what I was envisioning, and they took it from there! The decor options they have are fabulous and definitely a large variety. The flower arrangements and options were amazing and so beautiful, Doug did a fabulous job with my flowers. Their bartending staff and caterer were also amazing and super awesome with our guests. While I can say I absolutely would 1000% book this place all over again if I had to go back in time, there are a few minor things I wish I had paid more attention to so they didn’t come as a surprise after booking. My husband and I had a rather large bridal party due to both of us having large families. While they do clearly tell you that florals for up to 4 on each side are included, be sure to budget if you have more than that. We definitely overlooked that detail. Also, we had too many people in our party to have them all sit next to us at dinner so we had to do a sweethearts table with 2 tables on the side. This may not be a big deal for most but is definitely something that I did not envision on my wedding day, having the people who deserved to be acknowledged as the wedding party being at a separate table and some of them with their backs turned to the rest of the wedding. Also with having that many girls, getting ready was chaotic, being that we could not get into the “getting ready room” until 10am. If I could do this again, I probably would have had hair and makeup done offsite and only used the room to get dressed. We were very pressed for time to get all 7 girls, 3 moms and myself ready in 3 hours for picture time. Two things that I really wish the venue could/would do differently: the cookie table and the head count. Ever since I was 14 and saw my first Pittsburgh cookie table at a wedding, I have been dreaming of a massive, over the top Pittsburgh cookie table. However, they wanted all cookies to be dropped off to the venue on Thursday. This means that any family who is not local would not be able bake cookies for us. Unfortunately, majority of our families lived over an hour away and we just couldn’t expect them to do this for us. I truly wish the venue could find a way to make it work with having family members bring cookies to the ceremony. Finally, the thing that took me the most by surprise is how the venue does their head count. If you have more than 150 guests, there is an additional charge per person. Seems totally acceptable. Except for the fact that 150 guests includes yourself and partner, as well as vendors. I think it is very thoughtful of them to want us take sure our vendors have a meal, but what doesn’t make sense to me is paying the fee for bartender service, cake, etc.

I had very MINIMAL stress leading up to my wedding because the staff here handled just about everything. Finally, on the day of my wedding I was able to completely relax and enjoy the day, because Jess the day-of coordinator had everything taken care of. The whole day went so smoothly. Not to mention the venue is absolutely beautiful!

nue is beautiful, the food was amazing, DJ so much fun, flower’s beautiful, they checked on us all night , packed everything up after the wedding . The outdoor pavilion for cocktail hour was perfect. Their professionalism, thoughtfulness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We received so many compliments all thanks to Doug and Audrey and the rest of the team! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for a perfect day! I highly recommend The Place at 534 !!

Doug made me the most beautiful flower arrangements I've ever seen! Our guest can't stop raving about how amazing the venue, food and music was. uld be the one for us. Doug, Audrey, Marcy and Jess felt like family the very first time I met them. They made my dream a reality, and made it very stress-free. I’m really not a picky person by any means the one thing I only wanted was an outdoor ceremony, and on my wedding day of course the forecast showed rain. All day as it poured and poured, we waited and worked together on a back up plan just in case we had to move things to stay dry. But oh my goodness we all watched the forecast and they let me say let’s wait 10 more minutes for it to clear up. These amazing people got out there and made it happen for us just in time for the sun to shine and in the meantime, they were tearing down the Plan B so we could still have cocktail hour and dance under the pavilion. This review won’t be enough to show my appreciation to this wonderful, beautiful family and staff. They made sure we had everything we needed that we had a perfect day, and we did. I miss it so much already. Audrey found me crying at the end of the night and asked what was wrong and of course all I could say was I wanted to start over, I was sad the day was ending. What a wonderful venue. So many compliments on the place itself, the food and all of the vendors at the place had contracted and suggested to us. I could go on and on. We love you guys and we had such a wonderful day.❤️
