The Plaza Resort and Spa were amazing. Their staff took away any worries and concerns and made our wedding day seamless. This vendor was very accommodating and our guest enjoyed their stay and the amenities. Thanks to both Kelly’s and all the staff who made our wedding memorable.

This venue is beautiful and fulfilled everything I wanted in a wedding. The history and classy, elegant features and terrace ceremony is what originally sold me on this venue. Kellie was amazing every step of the way, especially during these crazy pandemic times. The food was great and the customer service of the banquet staff and hotel staff was the best! The Plaza was everything I could have asked for for my wedding.

If you do not choose the Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach as your wedding venue, you are crazy. They are simply the BEST!!! Kellie Cooper-Deans was phenomenal during every step of the planning process and on the day of our wedding. Since we were planning an out-of-town wedding, we researched all of the potential venues a year ahead of time. After narrowing our search to 4 possible venues and meeting with the Staff at the various venues, there was no doubt in our minds that the Plaza Resort and Spa was going to be our wedding destination. During our initial meeting with Kellie, she was incredibly prepared and unbelievably welcoming along with the rest of her team. All throughout the process, Kellie was there for us and patient with all of our questions and requests. She made the process of planning our wedding from out-of-town as easy as possible. During the week of our wedding, Kellie jumped in time and time again to assist with last minute details such as tuxes, wedding cake, etc. We literally would have been lost without her help. I would be remiss if I also did not mention that the Plaza Resort and Spa is a beautiful and elegant place to choose for your wedding. With historic architecture, stunning ocean view rooms, great and friendly customer service, you and your guests will love the Hotel. I had my wedding, cocktail hour and reception at the Plaza Resort and Spa. I also had guests that stayed at the hotel from out of town. The whole event was fantastic. Working with Kellie Cooper and Claire was a pleasant experience. Besides the fact that out of all the venues I visited the Plaza was the most reasonably priced. Every detail was documented and followed up in writing. We had several meetings to walk through the details and all of my guests rooms were fantastic and they were able to check in early. The food was fantastic and the outside wedding venue was so beautiful. I have no complaints. Everyone was so professional and accommodating, even the valet workers. I had the wedding of my dreams. I highly recommend the Plaza for your wedding. You won't regret it.

The plaza resort and spa was amazing in every way. They answered any questions we had and welcomed us as family. Everything was well organized and the food was amazing! I am still hearing from everyone about how great the food was! The spa also did a wonderful job with hair. The venue was perfect and beautiful in every way!

I recently had my wedding at The Plaza Resort & Spa! It was the best choice we made. Kellie Cooper was amazing from start to finish. She answered all my questions and with great response time. She is definitely fantastic at what she does and I cannot say enough good things about her. I also have the pleasure of meeting will send the manager from a Wedding and he was absolutely a pleasure to work with. Any questions that I had he answered. He open the reception room several times for me to show my bridal party and didn’t hesitate for not one second to be helpful! I also had the pleasure of having Ashley and Jessica as our bartenders and they are absolutely wonderful people. Every guest at my wedding could not say enough good things about them. By far best bartenders I’ve ever had. Chris and James are the chef’s in the food was incredible. They took the time to come out and meet me and let me know if I have any questions I can come to them. Khalil was is the valet guy and he was so personable and helpful and any questions you had about the area and what to do for fun. Everyone also loves him to. I spoke with Lex a few times and every time I was nervous he knew exactly what to say to calm you down. I can not say enough wonderful things about everyone that the plaza. Thank you all for making my wedding a night to remember!!!

Kellie Cooper is the best in the biz!! From our very first meeting with her she was on the same page as my husband and I and knew the answer before we even asked a question. Any time we had a question she was quick to respond and never made us feel as if we were bothering her. She always made sure we got the best for our money and offered any assistance possible. She is super sweet and knowledgeable about anything wedding related. Our reception at The Plaza went exactly as planned and looked completely stunning!! The white table linens are so gorgeous and The Plaza staff during our reception was phenomenal. Our guests admired their professionalism and attentiveness. We got to taste each item of food prior to selecting our final food options and everything was so tasty and well-presented. We still haven't stopped hearing about the mashed potatoes! The Plaza was our very first wedding related booking and we could not be more proud of our choice! If you want a gorgeous and seamless wedding, have it at The Plaza!

We had a Disney themed wedding in March at The Plaza. The wedding was beautiful. We did the ceremony outside and aside from the wind, it was perfect. The plaza arranged the seats and let us use the arbor which we decorated with some flowers from a local vendor, Simply Roses and the wedding coordinator Style By Yvonne did set up. There was plenty of room for our loved one and a perfect view. The reception was inside the adjacent ballroom with same ocean views. The food was great (streak was amazing), staff was pleasant and kind, and hotel accommodations comfortable. Kellie and Alyssa assisted with any concerns as they raised and it really felt like all hands on deck for my event. I felt like a Disney princess. Thank you all for your support and hospitality. Everyone one down to the valet staff was professional and easily accessable.

I recently had my wedding at the Plaza Resort and Spa on August 25, 2017. My wedding ceremony was held in the seabreeze terrace and it was absolutely beautiful! The staff at the Plaza and professional and reliable. I had a wonderful experience planning my wedding with Kellie and Christine and highly recommend working with these wonderful ladies. Flawless venue!

The Customer Service had a lot to be desired. If you do decide to have your wedding there, please review your quote. The numbers are inflated if you don't ask questions. It took several weeks to have the room reservation for the groups entered into the system. Guests were turned away when trying to reserve a room. Due to this fiasco, guests were not able to reserve within time period and did not receive the group rate. Several guests stayed at other hotels. Sales Rep. was not helpful and nickel and dimed EVERYTHING. I can understand they are in the business of making money but when you bring over $30,000 to a venue, you'd expect not to get charged $40 for a gallon of lemonade. Needless to say, I had my bridal shower at a neighbor hotel. I wish I also had my reception at that hotel. Live and learn. All our family and friends were from out-of-town and they lost a lot of return business.

We loved having our wedding at The Plaza. We did both ceremony and reception there. Kellie Cooper was awesome from start to finish. Beautiful venue and very accommodating. Guests could not stop talking about how good the food was and what an awesome weekend it was!

Kellie Cooper and her staff are just amazing. Their attention to detail for weddings makes it a great place to have a wedding. The view from the Seabreeze Terrace is stunning. We love it.

The Plaza Staff (Kellie Cooper specifically) made my wedding planning process WAY less stressful and a breeze. Always accommodating and friendly. The cocktail hour was in the collonnade and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and so elegant. Exactly what I had imagined. The reception was held in Plaza C ballroom and it was the perfect size for our 150 guests. Food = PHENOMENAL. I received endless compliments on it from my family members after the wedding. The bar staff and banquet staff were amazingly kind as well! They checked on me and my husband at our sweetheart table multiple times during the night to see if we needed anything - bartenders got a lot of compliments too from my family and friends! Overall, a wonderful venue and a great experience!

We absolutely fell in love with The Plaza on our first visit. We actually didn't even have an appointment; we just stopped in while we were waiting for an appointment at another vendor. Someone from the front desk dropped what he was doing, called for someone with security, who had keys, and the two of them gave us a private tour of the entire facility. Our primary contact was Kellie Cooper, and we couldn't have pulled our wedding off without her. She was great to work with! From negotiating the contract, to the ceremony and reception, Kellie was right there, meeting every need we had!! I have never worked with someone so professional as Kellie. She was knowledgeable, prompt to return phone calls and emails, and she made my wife and I really feel special. The entire banquet staff did everything to make sure the day went off as planned. Everyone was extremely courteous and gave us everything we needed. The Plaza was a beautiful place to have a sunrise wedding!! Our ceremony started at 7:30 in the morning, and even though it was early, the entire staff of The Plaza did an amazing job!! Some of our guests told us that they had never been to a sunrise wedding, and it was the most beautiful ceremony they have ever seen! I can't say enough about The Plaza, the staff, and especially Kellie!! I would recommend The Plaza Resort and Spa to anyone wanting a wedding overlooking the Atlantic Ocean!!

The Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach, Florida provided an old world charm and elegance that no other location in the vicinity could match. As the oldest hotel in the area there are lots of beautiful rooms with lovely architectural features that no new hotel can match. The newer hotels in the area had reception are that we had considered, al had reception areas that looked like a business meeting room with no charm, very boring rooms compared to the Plaza resort and Spa. The Plaza resort and Spa offered elegant woodwork and chandeliers and a grand piano for our reception. As for the food, they offered exceptional menus and used first class ingredients and presented it all in a lovely manner. The staff were super experienced and made it very easy for us. Kelly the wedding coordinator especially made everything go better that we had expected. We thank everyone it took to make our wedding elegant, vintage and really super.

The Plaza Resort & Spa was a great venue for our ceremony and reception. The deck easily accommodated our decorations and guests, and provided a nice area to take post-ceremony photos. The collonnade made for a beautiful and elegant cocktail hour, and the main ballroom fit our photobooth, DJ, cake and gift tables, along with two bars, 12-13 tables and a sizable dance floor. Kellie provided very personal service, from contract write-up to meal tastings. Overall, for the wedding size my wife and I wanted, the Plaza Resort & Spa delivered exactly what we were looking for!

New Year's Eve is a magical time for any party or event. However, a new year's wedding is more special if you have the perfect venue. New Year's Eve 2015 was the date of our wedding at The Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach, Florida. The oceanfront hotel facitliies are breaktaking. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding from our wedding coordinator Kellie Cooper, banquet staff including Jerilynn and Summer, and the hotel staff. The food was amazing thanks to the incredibly talented chef. Our friends and family cannot stop talking about our beautiful wedding at The Plaza. Kudos to Kellie Cooper and her fantastic staff.

The Plaza Resort and Spa was a wonderful setting for my daughters wedding this past November. From Kelly the coordinator to all of the banquet staff including Amy and Summer it was amazing! They were all so helpful and responsive. The wedding and reception were beautiful and the food was so good! We couldn't ask for a better location! I highly recommend this venue for anyone interested in having a beach wedding! Kudos to the staff at The Plaza!

This is an amazing vendor it was awesome everything was beautiful it was great The staff was awesome they gave us everything we needed or asked for very polite and respectful place was beautiful the pool is beautiful the rooms were great the rates were great the guest had such a great time had enough room on the dance floor for everybody

The staff at The Plaza Resort and Spa made my whole wedding process an absolute dream come true. Kellie Cooper and her team truly understand stressed out brides and take every possible step to ensure that the wedding day goes smoothly. My entire wedding weekend was held at the hotel, from rehearsal to farewell brunch! Our ceremony on the Seaside terrace left us with photos to die for, and our reception in the Vista Del Mar ballroom with it's stunning and unique chandelier will make for gorgeous memories for years to come. My family can't wait to return for "staycations" and I can't wait to head back at every opportunity. Our rooms were incredible, with a hot tub for 2 in the suite and a view of the beach at sunrise- it's the most romantic spot on Daytona Beach. I can't say enough about the food, the venue, and the staff!! The Plaza made my wedding the fairy-tale I have been dreaming of my entire life... Everything from our guests checking into the hotel at the beginning of the week till the end of my reception was wonderful and beautiful. The Bar staff was friendly and by the end of the evening they knew my guests drinks which kept the flow. The wait staff made sure my husband and I had everything we needed, the food amazing, The view can't be beat. Kellie Cooper was wonderful through the entire wedding planning process working directly with my Wedding Planner on all details. It was a day we will never forget and a place our families hold close to our hearts!!

This hotel is truly a gem. Our ceremony site was directly by the beach and reception in their oceanview ballroom. We had our cocktail hour in the magnificent colonnade - more great photo opts. This venue was perfect for a wedding in Daytona beach. I could not say enough great thing about all the staff at the plaza. The food was amazing thanks to chef Paul and a big special thank you to Kelly Cooper who walked me threw step by step with all my qeustions and phone calls. I was married at the Plaza and my special day turned out to be perfect. First of all Kellie Cooper was amazing to work with. Even though I had a coordinator, she was still able to give us great tips that were specific to the property that only someone extremely knowledgable on site would know. I truly appreciated her patience and guidance. Everyone in my family commented on how unique the venue was. The food was delicious. Thanks to the entire culinary team! The staff did an outstanding job during the reception. I really loved their attention to detail. My room was spacious and even with all the day's stresses, the staff at the Plaza took good care of me.

The Plaza Spa and Resort is a beautiful venue especially if you are looking for a "beach" wedding. Our food was amazing and the Chef that we got to meet at our tasting was very nice and accommodating to any of our needs. Our guest are still raving about the food and the venue in its self. They were able to set us up with room blockage (which was a discounted rate :).) so our guest could call in and book a room and be guaranteed a place to stay the night of our event. Overall this is a great venue for the price and service that we received and we would recommend them to our friends.

We had our wedding at the Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach on July 19, 2015. The Plaza wowed us originally with its location, reasonable costs, and stunning views of the ocean. Once we had toured, it was nearly impossible to contact a coordinator, even to finalize booking paperwork. There were several changes in coordinators leading up to the wedding, and frequently, information was not properly passed on. When they switched to their current coordinator, Kellie Cooper, communication improved greatly. I would say our major problem was the room block. When we asked for a room block, we did not notice that the paperwork said in fine print “subject to change based on availability”. 4 Months before the wedding, as guests began making arrangements, each guest complained about confused employees on the phone unable to find our room block. When I inquired about the issue, I was told by the person in charge of reservations that this was a “courtesy room block”, and they could no longer honor it. Why would I not want a real room block to lock in rates? Almost everyone was from out of town, so everyone needs a room! This became an issue especially with guest gift bags handed out by concierge. They offered us a real room block, but at a rate nearly identical to the actual cost of the rooms. Aside from that, most of the wedding was wonderful. All of the guests raved about the food and the bar service. The Plaza also supplied a representative to make sure things were going well during the event. The view from the vista del mar room was magnificent when the curtains were pulled open, and the grand colonnade was beautiful as well. During the wedding, the reception room got very hot, at least in the 80’s. This slowed the party because many people would leave to go to the hall for air and a break. Guests loved the location and services. We had several guests tell us how much they enjoyed the pool, bars, spa, and proximity to the ocean and other parts of Daytona.

Kellie at the Plaza is absolutely amazing! Since i was planning my wedding from hundreds of miles away she really helped to make sure that I had everything i needed for my wedding! She assisted me with finding a DJ, and photography. The food at our wedding was probably the best thing i have ever had. Everyone is still talking about how good our food was. I also did not want a cake so their chef made me the cheesecake that i wanted instead. If you are looking for an amazing and affordable venue i strongly suggest that you call Kellie! She knows what she is doing and is more than happy to make sure that your day is magical! The day of my wedding did not start off great at all which really scared me. I was in a car wreck on the way to my ceremony and ended up running over an hour late to the reception. Kellie was more than happy to assist and extend our time a little because of this. She also made sure that we were more than taken care of during our reception! Hands down the best place i could have had my reception!! Thank you again Kellie for helping make my wedding day a day i will never forget! BTW just in case anyone was curious my husband and i loved The Plaza so much that we are already planning on spending our one year anniversary there!!!

Seth and Kellie did a tremendous job in all aspects of our reception. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The Plaza is a first class hotel with a great staff. We look forward to staying with them again.

John Trimarche (Director of Food and Beverage) and Kellie Cooper (Catering Sales Manager) work with me to plan and success this event.They work with me for months. They are very Helpful to me. All staff members are very Professional. I am planing next event with them in May 2016.

I worked with Kellie and Seth at the Plaza. Kellie is great and helped me stay on track with wedding details and reminded me of so many things that could have been forgotten. The team there is wonderful and was willing to work with us to make sure that we could have an affordable and fabulous wedding! The venue is very historic and beautiful. We chose a ballroom overlooking the ocean. The food was excellent, both appetizers and entrees were enjoyed by all. We couldn't be any happier with the way the entire wedding came together! We didn't get to know Seth until just before the wedding, but once we met him and he knew that we were getting married there, we, and our family, were treated like royalty! It was great :) Thanks so much for a fantastic time and great memories!

We are so glad we chose The Plaza for our April Wedding! The ceremony on the back terrace was beautiful and the reception in the ballroom was breathtaking! Our coordinator, Kellie Cooper, was outstanding from day one. She truly went above and beyond to make sure all our wants/needs were met. From the front desk to housekeeping, to valet and the Chef, and everyone in between, the entire staff went out of their way to make sure my husband and I, along with our guests, were accommodated no matter what time it was! I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! I highly recommend The Plaza Resort and Spa, you will not be disappointed!

Who in their right mind plans a wedding in 2 months?? Evidently US! And it couldn't have turned out any more PERFECT. Let me first start by saying that Kellie Cooper, our wedding coordinator, is beyond amazing!!!! From the moment I first sat down with her to discuss our vision and budget, she literally looked at me and said "no problem, we can definitely make this happen". I admitted to her that I had a couple of other venues I needed to also go see that day before making a decision. That night we sat down and narrowed it down to the 2 we liked best, then opened up the packets given by each and I can tell you without ANY reservation that the Plaza Resort and Spa offers MUCH MORE. They also are extremely flexible with the menu and actually created one to fit our budget that was more geared towards what we thought our guests would like. I'm STILL hearing how good the food was.........SCORE! We also had initially planned to have our ceremony out on the back Seabreeze Terrace but the weather intervened and changed our plans. But the backup plan that Kellie had for us turned out better than the original outdoor one in my opinion. They set all the chairs and the decorated archway up indoors and I came walking down the long colonnade that is beyond elegant just as it is and we had our ceremony inside. Our reception followed in the Plaza C room and it was SO beautiful, I just couldn't believe that this was really our wedding. During our very short planning phase, if I had any questions at all, Kellie would literally have me an answer before the end of the day. The Head Chef and his waite staff....AMAZINGLY NICE, professional and very accommodating. I had a massage the night before the wedding at their spa downstairs.......all I can say it WOW! It is definitely worth calling Kellie Cooper and setting up a time to let her show you around and tell you about all they can offer you. Plaza Resort and Spa.......you ROCK! A sincere THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts :-)

We got married, had our reception and did our spa treatments at The Plaza Resort and Spa. Our onsite coordinator was great, but a major storm came through at the last minute (Sandy) and the staff did not seem to be capable of handling the situation very well, which was shocking to me considering this is coastal Florida after all. Another thing, keep an eye on any last minute food substitutions. The kitchen made some the day of my wedding without prior notification nor compensation for the difference in price. Also, the hotel charged my credit card an erroneous charge several months AFTER my wedding. Once my credit card company confronted them, the hotel backed down and reversed the charge. If you are getting married in Daytona Beach area, this is still one of the best places to do it, but be very vigilant from beginning to end.
