We couldn't have chosen a better venue for our wedding! From start to finish, the entire team was absolutely phenomenal. Their timeliness was impeccable—every detail was executed with precision and on schedule, ensuring our big day went off without a hitch. We had booked with this venue over a year ago and just got married Sunday. The rustic decor and natural lighting from outside of the venue where we wed, to inside of the venue where we had our reception was beautiful. Our florist and planner literally only had to do centerpieces and a runner. I think even without the runner it would have been beautiful. We had three outside venue options which was also a plus. They were so patient with us leading up to our day. Very cool calm and collected when we had many things on our minds. Highly recommend this venue. Their professionalism and ability to accommodate our needs and requests and adapt to change.

From the beginning, the team was responsive, friendly, and helpful. They spent tons of time helping me plan every single detail. I live in Los Angeles and had zero issues with long-distance planning. I also planned the wedding in a relatively short timeline, but the team made it easy.
On the day, the team went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly. All of my guests were raving about the staff. I had a slight hiccup with another vendor, but The Point team sprung into action and made sure everything was figured out. The day of coordinator kept me on schedule and executed my wedding timeline to a tee.
The venue is gorgeous and very San Diego. We loved the view during the ceremony on the lawn. My guests liked that they could walk a short distance to enjoy the reception. My guests also enjoyed the garden. Even though it was a chilly night, the fire pits and heaters made it warm enough for them to enjoy the games, talk, and hang out.

The Point was the perfect venue for our wedding! Not only is the space both beautiful and fun, Kiana, Jasleen, and the team were incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process, taking time to understand our vision and providing exceptional input and guidance along the way. I loved how supportive, responsive, and practical they were in answering all of our questions. We were looking to do many things ourselves from decorations to DJing to finding our own vendors and they made it easy to do so. It was incredibly helpful that they have all the chairs, tables, sound system(s), games, and outdoor seating included. The tables are beautiful and don't require linens. There were so many details already taken of by The Point that we could just focus on the fun parts of designing the event and planning the details we cared most about.
On the day of the wedding Gracie, Elizabeth, and Jasleen helped ensure things ran smoothly. As the bride, it was a huge weight off my shoulders knowing that we were in such capable hands. Our friends and family are still raving about the venue and how fun the entire event was. We can't recommend The Point highly enough if you're looking for a beautiful venue, fantastic staff, and a wonderful experience!
I could not be happier with choosing The Point for our wedding. They were absolutely amazing to work with, friendly, great communication and worked with us through all the changes. On the day of the wedding they made sure that everything ran smoothly and we always close by to step in if/when something came up. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and was exactly what we were looking for.
Dany & Kiana we’re fantastic! From day one, they assisted with finding us the perfect Elopement package. They kept us updated with numerous checkins and answered all of our questions quickly and efficiently. When it came down to the actual wedding, they even assisted with setting up all the wedding decor and made sure everything was good to go for our small wedding.

I had such a great experience with The Point! They helped me plan my wedding from start to finish in 1 year! They made the planning less stressful and were very patient through the entire process! My day of coordinator Kiana was so sweet and patient the day of the wedding. She kept me informed of our timeline throughout the night and communicated in a way that was not to overwhelming. Thank you so much for everything!
We have zero regrets from our decision to get married at The Point. Starting with Kate and the staff to the gorgeous venue and scenery, it honestly couldn't have been any better. This is an AMAZING place to get married.
Kate was nothing short of incredible. She was so friendly, organized, flexible with our schedule and desires, and such a great communicator from start to finish. She helped us with lodging connections to local hotels and even contacted the city for us to see if we could get permitting for a pre-wedding event on a totally separate day. She was a dream!
The venue was exactly what we were looking for - casual enough that we could have a fun "cocktail style" wedding with no assigned seats but also fancy and beautiful enough that my wife's vision of her dream wedding could be realized. We loved that we were able to enjoy a gorgeous outdoor San Diego wedding on the grass overlooking 180 degree views of Mission Bay AND also have an indoor venue intimate enough for speeches and dancing.
To wrap up, our highlights would be the friendly and flexible service, ability to created YOUR dream wedding, and to take advantage of the most beautiful part of San Diego, Mission Bay!

Same experience as Thomas below. Requested a date, told available and booked a viewing, less than 12 hours after the viewing they said our date was taken and sent us a contract with a different date. The whole thing seemed very shady as did the venue. It was a little dirty and rundown and hey didn't seem to care it was that way when viewing.

When you first contacted us, the date was still available, and it was still available when you scheduled a tour. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee availability indefinitely and it can change in a matter of minutes. This is the way of the event venue world. We did explain this and gave you other dates we had available to which you responded “No worries at all! We are in no hurry…”
As for the statement that you have since called and the date is now "miraculously available". This is absolutely false. Your number has not come through our system since you last spoke to our team via email and the date in question is still booked so even if you had called, we would never tell you the date is available.
We do understand the frustration that you may have experienced and apologize for any inconvenience.

When the Rehearsal dinner at a certain restaurant fell through we went searching for a venue close to Mission Bay. We found The Point. The place was nice and large with plenty of room for a party of 60 plus. There are plenty of windows that makes the inside bright. Nice large monitors that displayed beautiful beach scenes including pictures of our son and daughter in law. There was also a large screen for the slide show and a microphone system for tributes and speeches as well as a nice music sound system. We brought in our personalized table sets and decorations. At the end the Rehearsal dinner venue looked spectacular and very appealing, trendy, and elegant. The Point tables, bar area, and furniture were well placed that made the venue feel full but not crowded. There was also a covered garden area with firepits that the guests also enjoyed. Kim and Jenna did a great job in helping us plan and prepare for the event including recommending a food vendor and coordinating all the preparation and setup activities. Once the guests started to arrive, Kim and Jenna were great in making sure our Rehearsal dinner went very smoothly from start to finish. All our guest had a great time. We enjoyed the venue. We enjoyed the food. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our son and daughter in law Rehearsal dinner at The Point.
We had such an incredible time hosting our wedding at The Point, the venue and staff are beyond phenomenal. Everything was offered to us at a reasonable price with the ability of adding any vendor we chose. The full service, venue, location, and outdoor area made our decision incredibly easy. We can't thank them enough for all of their help and support!
This venue was amazing. We couldn't have found a better location to host our wedding. We had the ceremony outdoors on the bay and it was gorgeous. The reception was held inside the building and it was tastefully decorated. We really enjoyed the back patio space, after our dinner, and so did our guests during the cocktail hour. The on site coordinator, Kim, was a great help to us, as well as our catering vendors. I hope everyone can enjoy this beautiful venue on their special day.
The staff was nice when we showed up to take a tour. We showed up early as requested due to lack of parking. Which they weren't kidding. The staff member asked us what time our appointment was and when she brought us up, mind you we had set our appointment 5 days ago. She then tells us,"Oh I'm sorry, your date that you requested for your wedding has been booked. In fact it was booked a week ago. Do you have another date you wanted to have your wedding?" We just walked out after that. They didn't deserve my business if they didn't even have the courtesy to let us know prior to our appointment. They even sent out two texts, the day before and and the day of making sure if we have any problems making it on time to give them a call. Yet they can't let you know that that your requested date has been booked. Some people people don't have flexibility for their wedding day.
