We hired Corina to be our month-of coordinator and it was the best decision we could have made. She did so much more than we expected-- meeting us far before the month of the wedding to walk us through the major milestones we should be hitting, share resources and tools, and answer our questions. Something I really appreciated about Corina was her willingness to give us straight answers-- not just tell us what we wanted to hear-- and steer us back on track when we were making a mistake.
One of our vendors was challenging to work with and Corina was the perfect antidote-- she communicated with them respectfully while anticipating the issues that might come up on the day of the event so she could prepare for them. And come, they did-- but no guests ever noticed a thing because Corina was so expertly managing the show behind the scenes.
Through everything, she was always so pleasant, easy to work with, with incredible poise. I would recommend working with Corina at Poppy Events to anyone who wants to ensure their event run smoothly. While we didn't hire her to design our event, she had such an eye toward luxury that I would absolutely trust her to do so in the future.

We used Poppy for their month of coordination service. It made the wedding. We felt we had done a good job of pulling together interesting food and a venue in Children’s Fairyland Oakland. Poppy ensured nothing fell through the cracks, everything down to trash removal was covered and we had enough staff on site. Our coordinator was amazing as was the whole Poppy team. This choice was a great one for us.
Our wedding coordinator, Jenn, was fantastic! She was organized, pleasant to work with, and offered valuable advice based on her experience planning many weddings. We could enjoy our wedding day knowing that she was on top of everything, and the wedding turned out perfectly!
She made sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes, expertly handled a small emergency that came up with my wedding bouquet (which turned out fine thanks to her), and kept the perfect balance of checking in with me and allowing me to enjoy the day without worrying about the details.
