There was a good flow to the room throughout the whole evening. When it came to designing our custom menu there were so many amazing selections to choose from. Our guests raved about how delicious all the food and drinks were and the open bar kept the fun going all evening! The clubhouse manager Rebecca has been a true professional to work with and guided us through the planning process to ensure we had the most successful event. She was very responsive to any emails and made us feel comfortable to ask any questions we had during our in person planning meetings. I'm vegan so I wanted to have a lot of vegan options for cocktail hour, and they were able to accomodate easily. And the staff was just incredible and such a pleasure to work with. Rebecca specifically made the whole planning process and day-of so easy and seamless. I highly reccomend The Powelton Club!

the perfect place for us. Rebecca is so good at what she does here, we knew we were in the right hands. She helped us to create the wedding of our dreams, all while having the patience of a saint! We were looking for a place that resonated peace and comfort while still having an upscale yet not overly flashy vibe. The Powelton Club exudes a sophisticated old world charm feel without feeling stuffy. It's beautiful and classy and we really didn't have to purchase a lot in "extras" to decorate. The members there do a lot of decorating with flowers as well, and if you like the color scheme that they create for the season you can keep them in your space for the day, at no charge. We chose to use the current pieces and we could not have made a better choice. The flowers complimented our color scheme beautifully, and the fireplace decor was stunning! We decided to have our ceremony in front of the fireplace and it was truly magical. With Rebecca's help, we were able to have the ceremony the way we envisioned - and it was perfect. Now let's talk food... We were allowed to choose several delicacies from a wide array of really delicious offerings, in addition to two stations of our choice as the hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour. They were deliciously and expertly prepared and served by the great staff, and our guests immediately felt welcomed. We chose to do a buffet style dinner, with a viennese table for desserts in addition to our wedding cake, which was also included in our package. The cake vendor that The Powelton Club uses did an amazing job on the cake - 5 stars for her too! We can't stress enough that the food was absolutely delicious! We keep hearing from our guests about how really tasty all of the food was. And it truly was. We just honestly can't say enough about how truly fantastic our experience was planning our wedding with Rebecca at The Powelton Club. Every single detail of our wedding day was perfect. From the setting and ambience, to the ease of planning for our special day here, not worrying at all if our guests will enjoy the place or the food as much as we did, working with an amazing staff of true professionals like Rebecca (sometimes Erica too) Nina, my Bridal Attendant for the day, all of the really great wait staff...just perfection-every single detail. Mike and I felt incredibly taken care of all day long and it's because of the teams insane attention to detail that everything went so smoothly. y detail the day of. We would not change a single thing. After looking at multiple venues and what’s included in the cost, the Powelton was a no brainer for us. Rebecca in a sense also acts as a day of coordinator ensuring all set up, timelines stay on track, and most importantly that you enjoy your wedding day, free of stress. The wedding itself was everything we wanted. As huge foodies with a passion for wine, we did a four coursed dinner with wine pairing. This was the first wine paired wedding dinner the Powelton had done and it was superb. It’s 3-months later and we still have people telling us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. To include our close friend who works for the biggest cattle ranching company in the US… he said the steak was some of the best you can find. My husband and I cannot recommend the Powelton enough. Along with all their recommended vendors.

Venue: The venue is gorgeous inside and out – classy, elegant, and packed with unique historical tidbits dating back to the 1880s! Our guest list was about 90 people, and the main building hosted our guests with plenty of room to spare while modifying the space to still make the interactions feel intimate and meaningful. Staff: The staff are sublime – they were so kind and accommodating while also maintaining professionalism and supporting the classy atmosphere of each evening. We had both our rehearsal dinner and reception at the club, and we were completely satisfied with everything! Food: The food is amazing! I don’t know how they do it, but I really can’t emphasize this enough. We’re still strongly considering renewing our vows or something every year or so for the sole purpose of coming back and enjoying the food at the Powelton Club (also love, yes that is important too!). We have been to weddings in wonderful locations all over the place, but often we find that a large expense for a unique/special venue comes at the cost of quality food. Not so at the Powelton Club—you get both for a great price and its frankly incredible. There was a tremendous amount of options for hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and each meal course – any taste and/or preference could be met! They were even so kind as to ensure that there were vegan options for a few of our guests. This is one of those things that can make or break a wedding, and the Powelton Club just casually knocked it out of the park. Communication + Management: While every aspect of the Powelton Club was superb, the true hero of the entire event was the Clubhouse Manager Rebecca! From our first conversation with her she was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful! Since we do not live in the area, Rebecca kindly showed our parents around the venue while we joined in over FaceTime. When COVID 19 forced us to postpone our wedding, she graciously rescheduled us for the following year. Her organization and professionalism were indispensable throughout the entire event, and it made the entire process virtually seamless! She was so flexible with any changes we needed to make, and she offered her expert advice freely as needed. Having never planned a wedding before, her guidance was very much appreciated! Closing Thoughts: Take it from us: you won’t find a better wedding venue in all of New York. So many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed their meals and what a wonderful venue the Powelton Club is. We are so grateful for Rebecca and all the staff at the Powelton Club for making our wedding such a wonderful time! We are proud to give the Powelton Club our highest possible recommendation to anyone looking for an exceptional experience!

Rebecca was absolutely amazing with contacts for florists and bakeries or anything else I needed and being the go-between to set up deliveries etc. Gathering all of the contact information she had right at her fingertips would’ve taken me at least a week and it still might not have had such a great out come because she has a great reputation at these places . We were able to load in all of our stuff the day before the party as to not be stressed running around the day of. With her assistance I was able to get the most amazing centerpieces from a florist that usually only does weddings but did this for us because of Rebecca. The florist also set up the centerpieces on the table and took some things I brought in to use with the centerpieces and set those up for me as well. They also threw in a beautiful corsage and boutonniere as a surprise gift. Rebeccas eye for decor was spot on and her knowledge of event planning is beyond compare. She gives you her honest opinion on all different areas but does not force her opinion (but I must say take everything she says into serious consideration because she was pretty much always right). When we showed up to start decorating her and the staff had already pulled everything out from storage and had it in the appropriate spots to make for quick work. With her assistance I was able to pull off an amazing party and I honestly had no concerns because I knew I could trust her and the staff. She was amazingly patient and extremely accommodating. I showed up there like a tornado with 1000 ideas and extremely stressed on how to implement everything and she kept me calm and guided me. She honestly was amazing. I can’t say enough about the staff either. They were as attentive, accommodating and professional at this party as you would expect at an large elegant wedding. Erica was in charge of the staff on the night of the party and she was also just as incredible. She was so supportive, helpful, and attentive. She kept everything on track, was always checking in and communicating and made everybody feel so welcome. She was incredibly patient and helpful at cleanup and not rushing us out the door. Their options for cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, main entrées and desserts are some of the best options I’ve seen. We had everything from raw oysters, avocado toast, crepes and lamb chops to sashimi, sushi, a chef run carving station and a whole Italian station just to name some of the amazing food we had. They work with an amazing bakery for specialty cakes and have options like ice cream sundae bars and sweet crepe stations to name a few. And I must say for the immense amount of food that we had the prices were very reasonable. Rebecca also was not one to try to push extra food just to make more money. She guided me perfectly to the appropriate amount. I honestly could keep going on and on about this place. It went from being a potentially extremely stressful process to having such strong confidence in their abilities that I was able to take a breath and really enjoy myself. I highly recommend this venue..

The club’s event planner, Rebecca Caldarella, is simply the best! She is supremely organized but not the slightest bit overbearing. She helped us lay out an event schedule at the outset, explained everything we needed to know, recommended terrific vendors, gave us excellent advice on other matters, took notes on every detail, sent us copies of her notes and updated us in writing every time our own plans changed, kept everything on track with the calmest tone and the gentlest guiding hand, handled several last-minute adjustments with total flexibility, and made herself available to answer all our questions promptly and patiently. During the wedding itself she was almost invisible but made sure everything flowed seamlessly. Rebecca is a pro and a true gem. The bridal attendant provided by the club also did a terrific job. She made sure both of us had food and drinks throughout the evening, and as if by magic was at my elbow every time I needed anything. The food was fantastic, but we weren’t surprised after our delicious tasting session a few weeks before the wedding. Our guests, on the other hand, were amazed. They raved! More than a few guests told us this was the best food they had ever been served at a wedding, and one of our guests – a caterer himself, who has provided the food at countless weddings – was particularly impressed. We were busy taking pictures during the cocktail hour so we didn't have much time to enjoy the appetizers but those we did try were superb. Our guests loved the appetizers (we heard about the lambchops and the wrapped asparagus from quite a few people), and we also heard great reviews of the bartenders and the drinks. We didn't have much time to eat during the reception either, but the club’s staff sent us home with containers of each entree, which we enjoyed tremendously in the days after the wedding. The club’s beautiful space was perfect for our ceremony and reception. We wanted our ceremony indoors so we wouldn't have any weather concerns, and the room was lovely. I feared that perhaps moving 120 guest chairs out of our ceremony space during the cocktail hour would be cumbersome or disruptive, but it was handled so quietly and efficiently that we were standing in the middle of it and didn't even notice. Our guests all fit very comfortably into the reception space, the staff handled the buffet dinner smoothly and efficiently, and the dance floor worked well with plenty of room. The "get ready room" was a lovely space for me to use before the ceremony, and our babysitter made good use of it during the reception when the young children needed a bit of distraction. Minutes after the wedding ended, the staff had a cart loaded with all our wedding decor ready for us to place in our car. As a result, we were home in no time, exhausted but thrilled with how everything ha gone. Many of the the Powelton Club's staff have been there for years and years, and their experience shows. They have a very finely-tuned operation. We were lucky to have found this venue, and are grateful that they helped make our wedding day so perfect.

nd her husband decided to get married only about seven months prior to the date, so planning and organizing were expected to be a daunting task. But not with Rebecca as the coordinator! Rebecca is the consummate professional: she is knowledgeable and patient, giving us excellent ideas all the way through the process, including lists of all vendors we would need (and some we didn’t realize we needed). On the wedding day, she and Amber made sure that the bride and groom (and the bride’s mother--me) had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy the night. The venue is gorgeous—classy, warm and inviting, set on lovely grounds and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The food was exceptional – I am still getting texts about that! I expected that things would go smoothly, given the attention to detail that Rebecca displays, but the night exceeded my highest expectations. I strongly suggest that if you are planning a wedding, you book the Powelton Club!

rom the initial planning stages, coming up with ideas, suggesting not only what types of vendors to use, but specific vendors, and helped keep everything moving on the day of the wedding. Rebecca responded to all my (and there were quite a lot) emails very promptly, and made sure my new wife and I had everything we needed. Everything from the food to the ceremony setup was great, and the staff at TPC made everything work seamlessly. The only thing I would recommend is to get a DJ as the venue's speakers were a little bit low, but they still worked for our needs since we didn't have a DJ and people still danced. I would definitely recommend Rebecca and the rest of the The Powelton Club's staff for anyone's future wedding or other party. All my needs were met quickly and efficiently, and the staff were able to keep everything moving on the big day. I felt like Rebecca was able to explain everything that was happening quickly and concisely so there wasn't any confusion.

There weren't any nagging worries lingering because I knew she had everything buttoned up. Rebecca is approachable and easy to talk to so you never have to worry about peppering her with questions. The Powelton is a cute and cozy venue with a giant bar and plenty of space to walk around. The food is phenomenal and they even have a contract with a local bakery so you don't need to worry about picking up your cake. This isn't a wedding factory or a stuck-up resort. It's a friendly, warm environment with professional people who are great at their jobs. Go check it out!

Rebecca ensured that the entire space was perfectly set up, and completely eliminated the need to hire an additional day-of-coordinator. The food was amazing - we had so many guests tell us that they haven't had better wedding food. The space was beautiful, and the entire Powelton team was thoughtful and helpful throughout the day, often going out of their way to help make the day absolutely perfect.

I could not have asked to find a more picture perfect location or picture perfect coordinator.

the best wedding they ever attended. Every time we had a question or request Rebecca had a solution. Debbie was a great personal host. The food was fabulous. The facility is very classy. The organization during the event was perfect. And, not to leave out, the price was within our conservative price range!!! The service was impeccable, drinks were constantly flowing, the food was served to time and hot and every table had, what appeared to me, as it's own attendant making everyone feel special. Chris went above and beyond to get me a specific rum for my guest who traveled from Belize. A rum that they specifically drink which was not on the bar list. Thanks so much Chris. Would also like to thank Debbie, my personal attendant , who took care of all my needs before ,during, and after the actual ceremony. She was there for me right up to the end of the reception. As for the venue itself, the views outdoors especially in the fall are breathtaking. The grounds were impeccably kept creating beautiful photo opportunities. The clubhouse itself is elegant and the huge fireplace promises great family portraits. I will forever be thankful and grateful to the staff of the Powelton for making my wedding day everything and more I could have dreamed off. It was absolutely fabulous!!!!!!!!!
