A true dream wedding venue! There are not enough words to describe the incredible experience we had working with The Press Room for our wedding. From the start, the communication was outstanding, and the team went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was absolutely perfect. Demi and Hensley were organized and easy/fun to work with- they were both knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire planning process, and they were also very accommodating when it came to scheduling our meetings with my out-of-town parents. They honestly made the whole planning process effortless and less stressful. Emma was the best coordinator we could have asked for and made sure everything was taken care of and executed flawlessly for us- she was informative, organized, and just overall great to be around during our wedding weekend. Emma and the entire day of team were friendly and helped ease any stress that we could have faced on our wedding day, which helped us enjoy every second of our special day. I can’t imagine our day without their help and support. It truly felt like we were living in a dream with how beautifully perfect the entire day was! The preferred vendors that came with booking The Press Room were truly the best in Knoxville and made every wedding vision we had come to life. Everything was gorgeous and every little detail, no matter how big or small, was acknowledged. The food and drinks were delicious, and our guests are still raving about the food being some of the best they’ve ever had (including the late night pizza)! DJ Julian was so much fun to work with and did an outstanding job the entire night. If you are considering The Press Room- DO IT - you won’t regret it!! I feel so lucky to have been a Press Room bride and will remember how perfect our wedding day was for the rest of my life!! Thank you to everyone on the staff that played a role in our special day.

If I could give 10 stars I would. There are not enough good things to say about The Press Room. Demi, Hensley, Emma - the whole staff made our wedding the most magical day of our lives from our initial decision to book until the very last detail - we could not have done it without their help. Communication was excellent, their preferred vendors were amazing, we continue to hear raves about their food and drink, etc. The entire day was flawless and we could not have felt more special on our big day. If you are unsure about booking The Press Room, do not question it for a minute, you will NOT regret it. I wish we could get married every year just to experience the service they provided for us. Thank you guys from the bottom of our heart, we are so grateful we found you to help us on our best day. Our friends and family continue to tell us we had the best wedding and we couldn't agree more.

Demi and The Press Room were fabulous to work with and gave us the wedding of our dreams in only 8 weeks of planning. We were guided through the process quickly; but with a great deal of patience, never making us feel stressed or pressed for time! Demi was so attentive and kind to us, making the bride feel truly like we were planning the “Best Day of Her Life!” He was so flexible with meeting times after normal hours so that The bride would not have to miss work. Any special request was met with “of course,” making everything even extraordinary seem effortless. As far as the vendors and process of planning at The Press Room, it was all executed so easily and flawlessly (or so it seemed :). Everything from the flowers, tables and setup, and ceremony setting looked so gorgeous!!! The Press Room certainly has it all down to a fine art!! The final product looked like it had been a year in the making! Everyone was so professional and kind, making the process enjoyable! The beautiful venue speaks for itself. It is easy to create a magical evening under the twinkling lights of that gorgeous ballroom. Julian the DJ was just icing on the cake working his magic with the music. Not only was the wedding gorgeous, the reception was a blast!! Our “vision” certainly took on a life of its own. It truly was “The Best Day Ever!” The fact that Demi and the staff at the Press Room are such sweet people is just an added extra!! I am happy for the opportunity to meet and work with them.

Honestly could not have asked for a better experience on our special day. Ever vendor was punctual and professional and followed every sing request that we had. This was such a pleasant experience and truly stress free for us. I recommend The Press Room to anyone planning a wedding or other event.

The Press Room was the perfect venue for our special day!!! Every person we met with to help plan our wedding was extremely knowledgeable and caring! Our family and friends are still talking about the beautiful space, how great the food/drinks tasted (+ the cutest custom bar sign), and the fun dancing music! The Press Room made the planning effortless with their team in place- they even coordinated with our outside vendors. The team went above and beyond in the planning stage and day of! We had more time to sit back and relax and enjoy the most beautiful day!!

The event space is simply spectacular! Every single person we worked with to plan our day was so nice and helpful, and all of the staff that worked the wedding were fantastic.

The absolute best all-inclusive wedding venue in East Tennessee! They take care of every last detail and made the entire wedding planning process so much less stressful. Everyone was so accommodating and quick to take care of all of my many questions and requests. I could not recommend this venue and all around wedding planning service more!!!

We planned our wedding in about 7 months with Demi and the Press Room team -- it really couldn't have been easier. Our guests were are still talking about how much fun (truly) they had! Demi works with top notch, sought-after vendors -- the room was filled with beautiful flowers and the DJ had the dance floor going all night. I was able to relax and enjoy prep time with my bridesmaids the day of, because I felt confident Demi's team would handle all the details. The bridal suite was amazing for getting ready - you'll be there for several hours that day, and the Press Room has very nice accommodations! Demi gifted us with a signature cocktail, and our guests had a great time with the bartenders! Behind every wedding venue is a business to be run, but you can tell from the very start that the Press Room cares about delivering a very personalized event. They were happy to incorporate our personal items, and made sure everything got packed up for the drive home. The Press Room honestly did help us throw the best celebration our wedding day! We don't have any regrets.

I could not have been happier with the Press Room & their provided vendors. Demi was such an amazing person to work with & so professional. You could really tell he cared about our wedding & wanted to give us the best day possible- which he did! From the food (which was UNREAL, best wedding food I've ever had), the drinks, signature drinks, the lines from White Table Linens, the flowers from Lisa Foster, the bridal suite, the maitre d's, the servers, bartenders, everyone was nothing short of amazing. I had a vision but I truly in a million years did not expect it to be executed so perfectly. I cannot think of a single thing I would change because it was all just a dream come true. This venue really makes planning a wedding seamless. If you are looking for a place that has it all- the Press Room is your venue. The space is huge, there are plenty of bathrooms, parking, indoor/outdoor entertaining space, everything. I worked with several people at the Press Room but Demi & Hensley were by far the best & the two I kept in contact with most. They kept everything so organized for me & made payment plans easy. Demi was really just such a great guy to work with I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate him. He made the planning process actually fun, he was there for me when I got stressed, and there was really nothing he couldn't do. If it wasn't for him I'm not sure my wedding would have been as perfect as it was. Even when minor inconveniences happened, he was there to pick up the pieces quickly and have a solution. The Press Room has several wedding packages to choose from- we chose the Tie the Knot package and had about 175 ish people attend. The Tie the Knot package was perfect for us and the amount of people we had attend. The package included several great extras for us to made the day a little more special and stand out. And again- having a venue that has the most amazing provided vendors is a HUGE plus. It makes coordinating and planning so much easier. I have to give the catering another shoutout too because the passed hors d'oeuvre's and the sit down dinner (we had filet & the chef's special vegetarian option) was no joke the best food I've ever had. The Press Room provides so many options from food, drinks, signage, desserts, and other add-on's- you'll really find everything you need in one place & you can guarantee it will be the best. Thank you Press Room for making mine & my husbands dream wedding come true! & shoutout to Spaces in the City & City Catering for doing our rehearsal dinner at the Square Room it was fantastic.

This venue is beautiful! We hosted our rehearsal dinner here, and Demi was great to work with. He was so helpful, and made sure all of our guests dietary concerns were handled with care. Would've given them 5 stars, but all the steaks were unfortunately very overdone.

The Press Room made planning and celebrating my wedding an absolute breeze! Avery was wonderful and helped us through any snags that came up along the way. The day of the wedding was as stress free as could be. They took care of catering, the bar, linens, flowers, and the DJ. The only vendors I had to find on my own were the cake, photographer, and hair/makeup. I would recommend The Press Room for anyone planning a wedding in the Knoxville area.

Nothing could have gone better for our wedding at the Pressroom! The lighting is magnificent, the old, rough brick and plaster is just incredible in photographs! And our guests continue to rave about the fantastic food! We especially enjoyed working with Avery who helped us through 9 months of planning, re-planning and reacting! (Covid19) We were absolutely blown away by the featured FLORIST, Lisa Foster, and the flowers surpassed our expectations as well! We chose to do a full, open bar and do not feel like we were taken advantage of at all in anyway pricing wise or service wise or portions! We felt like we got more than our moneys worth in every way. In fact, the Pressroom appears expensive when compared to other venues, but in fact offers exceptional quality and generous quantities and absolutely the best service I have ever seen at a wedding and this is our family’s third! Truly the event of a lifetime

The Press Room was perfect! We absolutely loved every minute of our wedding. The Press Room is a beautiful venue and having everything in house makes it so easy, but what made it perfect was Avery and the rest of her staff. They were so professional and took care of everything for us so that us and our families could just enjoy the day!

We had the BEST experience with the Press Room! Avery (the wedding coordinator) went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. The planning process was so easy and stress free because of Avery! The venue is so stunning with all the beautiful lights. They have an awesome bridal suite for all the girls to get ready in. All of the vendors (Lisa foster florals, ogle entertainment, and white table) were incredible. The food comes from the same people that do Cafe 4 (if you’re from Knoxville you know it’s one of the best restaurants in town) so it was so delicious. The bartenders and all the staff were so attentive and made us feel like royalty. All of our guests raved about the food and service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Press Room!!!

Spaces in the City blew my mind. The were seamless from the planning to execution, and I could not be happier with the result--my dream wedding! Avery is so funny, sweet, kind, intuitive, and understanding. She made be feel listened to and understood, assured about my choices, and celebrated.

Avery was very helpful guiding us thru the process of planning and preparing. On rehearsal day, we definitely appreciated the help. For the BIG day, everything was perfect and flowed so smoothly! From my very first contact with The Press Room, I already was blown away. They were a fairly new venue, and I reached out to them through their website. Within minutes, I already had an email from Chase and a phone consultation set up. Chase walked me through all of the packages The Press Room had to offer, and I was super intrigued to find out that they were an "all inclusive" venue. It honestly sounded too good to be true, and I felt that same way when I met with Avery to tour the venue a few days later. I was just blown away! We viewed several other options and tried to imagine our perfect day, and pretty quickly decided that The Press Room was right for us. The beauty of the venue obviously speaks for itself, but Avery- who is the wedding coordinator- is truly what sold us in the end. We trusted her and felt comfortable with her instantly, and I can honestly say that she made our day SO much more special than either of us could have ever imagined. Leading up to the wedding could not have been more easy or stress free. Every single person on the team was so easy to work with- constantly reaching out to keep us updated on everything, and always available for absolutely any questions we had. I can honestly say that there was nothing for us to worry about. During the whole process, we were treated like royalty! The menu tasting, and the mixology consultation especially were two of our favorite parts of planning. On the wedding day, Avery was with us every step single handedly setting everything up. While we got ready in the gorgeous bridal suite, we were served coffee in the morning, and lunch and mimosas in the afternoon. We weren't able to have a rehearsal because there was an event the night before the wedding, but it honestly didn't matter one bit. Avery grabbed the whole bridal party and did a quick run through with them, and made sure everyone knew where they needed to be. The day flew by and when it was time for the ceremony, every single minute was perfectly executed. Probably the best surprise of the whole experience was Joel, our personal server for the wedding night. After the ceremony, my husband and I rushed off to take pictures around downtown. It was so hot outside, and out of nowhere Joel appeared with ice water and a car to help us get around and get back to the venue. He made sure our drinks were never empty, and that we had any and everything that we needed the entire night. I also have to mention the food; it was the best food I've ever had at ANY wedding, and I've been to a lot of them. Every single appetizer, every entree, and every side dish was served piping hot and could not have tasted better. The bartenders also kept drinks flowing all night, and did a great job taking care of our guests. Overall, I simply can't recommend this place enough. It was extremely affordable when you consider what you're getting, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that their team made everything SO easy. I did not feel stressed out one bit in the entire planning process. My husband and I both agreed that if we had to do it all over again, we would not have changed one thing. It's been just over a month, and our friends and family are still talking about the wedding and how it was just the best and most fun wedding any of them had ever been to. We may be biased, but we think it was the best wedding ever :)

Avery and the whole staff were amazing. We had the wedding and the reception at the Square Room. The DJ, Drew, was awesome. The whole staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. They were even able to incorporate our daughters’ decorations perfectly. Definitely recommend!!!

We had our reception at the Press Room and it was absolutely perfect. It is beautiful (the lights!) & in a great location, and the best part for us was how it included almost everything. Although I am from Knoxville originally, neither my husband or I lived there during the wedding planning process so it was so helpful. Everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding and so we could just enjoy ourselves with our family and friends.

My husband and I just celebrated our daughter’s wedding at the Pressroom in Knoxville. Avery Austin and Savannah Schultz did an incredible job. Right from the start they were right on top of everything. They offer a few different packages which covers everything you need for a beautiful wedding. The building is gorgeous with its historic architecture and unique lighting. Once it’s decorated with florals and linens, it becomes magical. The appetizers, dinner and adult beverages were amazing. They were so easy to work with and went above and beyond to meet all our needs. All of our guests loved everything and all had a wonderful time. On the day of the wedding, Avery and Savannah stayed on top of every small detail and waited on us as if we were royalty. It was absolutely perfect!

We had our wedding and reception at The Square Room on Market Square. They offered the same all inclusive package that they offer at The Press Room but at a more budget friendly price which was perfect for us since we had a small wedding. This is definitely the way to go!!! Avery, our wedding coordinator was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. It was a practically stress free experience because the food, alcohol, DJ, flowers and linens are all included in one price and the vendors they work with are equally amazing. The food was great (at least that's what everyone tells me since we were so busy I can't remember anything about it even though our personal attendants made sure we had food and a drink in our hand at all times) My favorite part was meeting with the mixologist to custom make our two signature cocktails. We considered having our wedding and reception somewhere else and planning it all ourselves. I am so glad we didn't do that. Not only would it have been exhausting and stressful, but it would have cost much more and I am sure would not have been nearly as good.

We got married at the Press Room at the end of May. The venue is so unique and beautiful and there are a lot of great features that it offers. Firstly, we found it to be quite the one stop shop because the package includes the venue, food, alcohol, linens, florist and DJ. This made planning so much easier! Regarding those details: the venue again was beautiful and the gorgeous bridal suite and ability to hold the ceremony as well was a bonus, the food was delicious and our guests raved about it, the florist who was provided was Lisa Foster and she was AMAZING. The florals exceeded our expectations! The DJ, Tim through J2 kept the night bumping as well! Although we had a great wedding, the entire process was not seamless. We found that the wedding coordinator, while kind and helpful in person, had poor communication behind the scenes. Emails were not answered timely, our financials were estimated incorrectly for the wedding as well as rehearsal dinner (which was through their sister location- The Square Room), and communication was inaccurate to the chef who prepared a different chicken entree than we picked at our food tasting. This was disappointing because the food tasting is not complementary but at a charge. Overall we had a memorable, great day, but want to share our honest feedback for future couples!

Our wedding at the Press Room was flawless. The space is gorgeous and their florist, linen and dj vendors all did an amazing job. Most notable of all is their coordinator Avery Austin. This woman worked very hard to ensure every detail was taken care of. We are so thankful to everyone at the Press Room who made our day so memorable.

The Press Room made planning so very easy. They do the food and they own their own tables and chairs. They also have a florist they use exclusively. I didn't have to find any vendors on my own. They were so helpful and everything turned out perfectly!

Overall, I had a poor experience with this venue. From the get go they were difficult to work with. I had requested pictures and maybe a possible video tour since I am booking from out of state and they were unable to accommodate that request. Unfortunately, someone else was looking at the date we wanted so I was pressured into booking without having seen the venue first, however, from the pics online everything looked great. The entire time I had booked the venue, no one reached out to me to begin the planning process for a wedding that was less than a year away. My fiancé and I decided to travel to go look at the venue by ourselves, since no one had reached out to us. I was very surprised to see the view out the front window and from their outside porch area was a dumpster with other debris. It wasn’t until after we had informed the venue that we were no longer needing their services did someone try and reach out to me about wedding planning. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere as we have spoken to much more helpful and accommodating venues in the Knoxville area.

We had our wedding at the Press Room and it truly was a fairytale. Their all inclusive approach to planning makes creating the event an effortless process. Our wedding was perfect down to every last detail. Since the venue is partially outdoors with a patio area, we were able to have our cocktail hour outside before the reception and our guests could enjoy the beautiful fall weather. The drop lighting makes the ambiance seem like a dream :)
