As my family and I were trying to enjoy a wedding in a venue that was so beautiful to bring 2 lives together, one thing ruined this night. Shena. From the beginning, her attitude was horrible. Whether she was emailing back and forth with the bride, her attitude of clearly not wanting to be at the rehearsal, and even the day of the wedding- she was an absolute nightmare. At one point of the night, I genuinely had to do a double take. Between her horribly thick eyeliner, her hideous bright green dress, and her behavior, I wasn’t sure if the bride hired a wedding planner or a clown. Please don’t waste your time with these people. Your night will be another payout for them, they don’t care about how important it is to you. When you call them out in a review, they are quick to blame wedding parties and guests for being overly intoxicated, when in fact that’s not the case. Even if it were the case, THEIR bar didn’t cut anyone off or ID. If you don’t believe me, look at the google reviews. Also look at how most bad reviews are made by Hispanic people. I suspect the problem is racism. I pray these people find peace and forgive themselves for ruining so many weddings.

Beautiful venue and great wedding! The staff was very unprofessional and disrespectful. Premising this review by saying that the brides grandmother passed not even a month before the wedding. When the bride was crying and mourning her mother Shena was talking (very obviously gossiping) and rolling her eyes with the CHILDREN ( she had as staff). The whole weekend of the wedding you could tell she was uninterested in being there, the night of the wedding she wore a bright green hideous dress (come-on you work for a RANCH, How hard was it to ind a decent outfits and boots) and very publically talked about the bride and her catering staff( mind you this was at around 4:30 and hour after the vows ) Before the wedding even begun, in planning, she was very rude about their policy. On the contract they have a 6 hr time limit, when asked if they could move the ceremony from 3 to 3:30 she fought but eventually agreed; with that being changed she still wanted doors locked at 9 and wasn't letting the family get their own decorations. Pictures of past loved ones and a unity board almost being left behind and Shena threatened she would throw away. In emails she nit picked that we needed to be careful of their staff attending but upon arrival they were children, actual children maybe about 13 years old. She did not even have them in a uniform to identify that they were staff and she is now having them leave reviews to up their rating. Shena says that people were fighting and being belligerent but there were no cops at the wedding, despite the fact that we paid for it in our contract. However they must've called a constable in but no one was every thrown out. Being in charge she could've easily had people kicked. Shena is name dropping brides and talking about people being intoxicated. But they must've been just fine if their bar never cut anyone off or refused service. If you take anything from this review let it be that Shena and everyone at the ranch is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL and need to find better people to represent their beautiful venue. I'm sure with all the money coming in from multiple weddings being held on property every weekend, they could find a great crew of people so Shena and her kids can focus on writing reviews but what can you expect from a bunch of rude mannered, penny pinching, B WORDS.

Let me start off by saying my wedding itself was beautiful but the dark cloud over my day was the owners daughter with her resting bitch face and eye rolling from the time the rehearsal started to the end of my wedding. The entire time I’m complementing that everything turned out beautiful trying to get her to get out her out of her mood but no luck at all she just continued to roll her eyes at myself and my guests. They tried to cut my party time to 5.5 hours instead of the 6 my contract stated until I brought up the contract where it say 6 hours from my CEREMONY start time, they said for the safety of their employees but advertised they stayed open till 12 and the only employees I saw were 2 14yo girls sitting by the bar the entire time. My package included a day of planner but it was just the moody lady that did pretty much nothing but complain and roll her eyes the entire time like she hated her life, all she did was tell us when to walk and where to stand but beyond that did nothing else, I’m about to walk down the aisle and nobody knew where the rings were along with the pillow so I’m having to run around in my dress looking for them at the last min(something my “day of planner” should have had prepared) they keep commenting on these reviews to try to justify their actions but the truth is they were rude from the beginning NOT after people started beginning some of my guests even felt they might be a little prejudiced. Also at weddings people get intoxicated that is the industry you are in if you don’t like it maybe your in the wrong business. As for your stolen centerpiece maybe if you were doing your job instead of leaving 2 teenagers who where just on their phones the entire time you would have caught that. The end of the night was horrible after the sparkler exit they tried locking us out but didn’t realize my sister was still in the building along with all my stuff so my sister called the rest of my family to pack everything quickly bc they were threatening to throw all my stuff away even tho in a meeting Shena said all my stuff would be packed up and cleaned up for me but when it came to our night they were just complaining about what a mess it was.

I absolutely loved my experience with The Ranch at San Patricio. For those looking for a wonderful venue near the Corpus Christi area, this is the place to book. I had to postpone my wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic and they worked with me every step of the way. Really meant the world to me that they were understanding with this crazy time. For the property, they have two different venues to choose from depending on guest size - both are beautiful each with a chapel for the ceremony if needed. Depending on the options you choose with them, you can have decor, flowers, and either Shena or Jessie coordinate the day of your event. The Ranch has a stockpile of decor options for centerpieces, signs, antique tables, yard games etc. For the flowers, I sent them pictures of versions of bouquets and ideas I had and they turned out beautifully. Plus, they did all the decorating with the flowers throughout the venue and at the chapel. They are very responsive and informative about any little question you have (I had wayyyyy too many). Jessie was my coordinator and she was perfect for me. She handled all the timeline and whisked me away whenever needed. I highly recommend the day of coordinator service! Took away practically all the stress from me as a bride. The Main House is a wonderful addition for those to stay at during the wedding weekend. I used it the night before for all my bridal party to stay at and then the night of for family to have. They also allow you to have the rehearsal dinner at the property if needed! Every guest kept commenting on how beautiful of a place it was. I could go on and on about how wonderful it was working with them. 10/10 best venue around!

We had our wedding at the ranch this past weekend and it was everything I could’ve asked for. Throughout the entire wedding planning process Shena Miller, the coordinator and one of the owners here, was there to answer questions I had about the venue every step of the way. For over a year and a half Shena answered my questions, gave me advice, and reassured me of any concerns and the list goes on and on. They have 2 separate venues here to choose from and both have a super cute chapel to have your ceremony at as well. A bonus for us was that we were able to take our engagement pictures as well as my bridal pictures at the venue that made for beautiful portraits. The day of the wedding everything went smoothly and we received many compliments on how beautiful the venue was. Many of our guests loved the animals out there from Longhorns to Buffalo lol. My husband and I will forever be grateful for our experience here and Shena Miller who helped us the entire day. If you’re looking for that perfect rustic venue for an event I highly recommend using this venue, you’ll fall in love!

First off, I have to say the location and rustic scene is absolutely beautiful here!!! A huge reason as to why we chose it, and in the beginning, we had the best service from the venue. However, we learned last year, as per the Attorney General, that it is illegal to charge customers the tax (10% or whatever they choose) from using a credit card. Feel free to look it up! We paid with a credit card twice and asked for pur money back (compensated) for the tax, which they did. However, we paid again and they still charged us for the credit card tax. We asked them nicely. My dad is a quiet man and the lady was very rude to my dad over the phone and told us to mail them a check. We wanted to use our credit card to earn airline miles. That's all, but they want their money. After our wedding 2 weeks ago, we had forgotten our shepherd hooks that we used in the aisle. We had them in a specific spot and the venue lied and said they didn't have them. Those were around $100. Overall, the venue was beautiful and everything we could have dream of, but the service was awful. If you decide to go with this venue, don't pay with a credit card.

or the 4% credit card use fee that we originally charged you and were told that you were mailing in a check for the balance. We no longer take credit cards as it became a larger expense for our small business. We looked all around the venue for your hooks and they were no where to be found. We have our own special hooks that fit on our pews and we don’t use hooks like the ones you used and we did not lie about them. If there is another specific place you left them then you are welcome to come look for them. We looked everywhere your relative asked us to look for them. We had to have our bridal suite carpet professionally cleaned from the mess that was left after your event, and it still didn’t come clean and the linen vendor had to replace linens that were ruined with crayons/markers, and we did not charge you for any of these damages. Our family that worked your wedding said it looked like you all had an enjoyable night and there were many Christian, friendly people there. This venue is absolutely beautiful! We got married at the new Driftwood Center no too long and it was breath taking! I love how sweet and helpful that Julia, Amber and Kelsey! They definitly made my day as stress free as possible!
If you are looking for a venue that is rustic but chic at the same time this is the place!

This location is lovely... even if you can't really afford decor and only photography and food... this is the way to go. They're not always the easiest to work with but everyone still had a great time and it was lovely.

We had our wedding at the Driftwood Event Center at the Ranch at San Patricio; it was absolutely STUNNING!! We had an eclectic, boho styled ceremony and a lush, dark, romantic reception. We've received so many compliments from our guests not only on the beauty of the venue itself, but also on the location, the unique décor, the seamless flow of events, and how wonderful my coordinator, April, was. The Ranch and it's staff far exceeded our hopes and expectations; they were wonderful to work with- friendly, informative, helpful, professional, and imaginative!! I can't say enough- it was an amazing process working with everyone at the Ranch, and our wedding day was absolutely breathtaking!

The Ranch at San Patricio is a beautiful venue. They have an outdoor chapel that overlooks ponds and green fields. The reception area is a large rustic room with huge sparkling crystal chandeliers. My wedding turned out gorgeous and all night Julie and April were there making sure the bridal party and all of our guest were on site. My only disappointment with the ranch is that I feel like we were promised a lot of extras at the beginning and it turned out that using some of their items would cost us extra. That being said if you are looking for a gorgeous outdoor rustic venue that will accommodate and wow all of your guest this is the place for the surrounding Corpus area.

Amber Asher was great when it came to the coordinating of the day of my wedding, however, my bridal part, family and myself ended up setting up EVERYTHING ourselves. She wasn't around or seen much at all until about an hour before the wedding, which was disappointing. But, for the price I would say her help the day of saved me enough stress to make it well worth it!
