! On the day of our wedding, Marybeth was there to check in with us to make sure everything was going just as planned. We highly recommend the Reception Center for a wedding because it is a beautiful venue and all of the staff are extremely kind and helpful!

moment we had our tour, I got the best vibes from her - I knew this would be our venue and we would be in good hands…and we were! Communication was spot-on over the 1.5 years we had the wedding booked - all my incessant (and sometimes irrational 🤣) emails were answered with compassion. I had very specific details for decor and Marybeth and the team truly delivered (we used a combination of our decor and theirs - they have absolutely beautiful centerpieces with silk florals). We ended up with the most beautiful spring day and were able to do our first look in their “picture garden” The food was amazing, staff was amazing, everything was amazing. They took such good care of us the night of - the wait staff was so professional, our maitre’d was always available to us, my drink was never empty… we spent the whole night on the dance floor and they packed our food and desserts for us to take home. Pricing was affordable, but quality did not lack at all. I could go on and on and on but to sum it up, if I could do this whole process over, I would choose the reception center again and again. I just hope and pray that someone I know gets married there so I can be a guest 😂

The food was delicious and the cake, as my guests put it, was the best wedding cake ever! I'm so happy we picked this place. We had an amazing time at our wedding and our guests did too. our decorations early and had everything decorated exactly how we wanted it the day of. The servers were so kind. Our bridal suite attendant kept our wedding party wined and dined in our own private bridal suite. Our maitre'd Ariana was excellent and checked on us all night and ensured we had enough to eat and kept the drinks flowing whenever we needed. My guests are already saying they want to get re-married just so it can be at the Reception Center. Almost ever guest I spoke to raved about the incredible food. A thousand times over would I chose this venue- a beautiful day made even more special by this incredible venue.

rience was fantastic. As a Covid bride who needed to postpone, they were so kind and helpful during the whole experience. Marybeth, the Wedding Coordinator, is amazing, and was attentive and communicative from booking up until the day of. The staff working our wedding were great as well. We received so many compliments on the food- that it was the best wedding food our guests ever had, and how awesome it was that there were so many different and delicious foods during cocktail hour. (Seriously, cocktail hour is amazing and I hope to be invited to a wedding as a guest to eat it again!) The ballroom was beautiful and the night was perfect. We are so happy to have had our wedding there!

single thing about this place was PERFECT. My husband and I just got married July 24, 2021 & let me tell you, the reception center and their staff are FANTASTIC. I was no Bridezilla, but the wedding coordinator MaryBeth, I’m telling you is heaven sent. From beginning to end she had my back making sure everything was going to be perfect, a calm, stress free, soft spoken woman- all the right vibes for someone planning a wedding lol ! There were two women who waited on us hand and foot the day of the wedding, one being The Mater Dei- Jessie and they literally treat you like royalty lol I didn’t have to think about a thing. If o could do it all over, I wouldn’t do a single thing different if it guaranteed the staff, food, and atmosphere would be the same. Thank you guys sooooo much !!!!!!!!

They test of the staff were amazing as well on the wedding day and made sure everything went smoothly. They were attentive to our every need. Although we didn’t really have time to eat and really enjoy the food, they were kind enough to pack up our dinner to take home that night! I would definitely recommend having your event here.

honestly the best night of our lives! The food was out of this world and we loved that we were able to have a tasting before we booked. The Maitre d’ Jesse made sure me and my husband were able to enjoy our dinners and that our drinks were full all night. The Chateaubriand was both our favorite! However, our family really enjoyed the chicken St Clement and the salmon as well. Everyone is raving about the cocktail hour!! Marybeth and Brian were very understanding about covid and worked with us through out and we’re more than willing to work with us on our original guest count. I can’t thank The Reception Center enough for everything. They truly blew us away and made our wedding a dream.

f at the Reception Center went above and beyond to make sure we didn't need to worry about anything except enjoying ourselves! The planning process was so easy because they have everything there for you, from different dining options to napkins and linens, centerpieces, backlighting, and even ice sculptures and a pianist! They have a selection of packages to choose from and even offer impossible to beat specials and add ons. Everyone there was amazing and very accommodating. They answered all questions promptly and nothing was a “stupid question", they really made us feel like everything was normal and simple. Our event coordinator Marybeth was so very helpful and kept everything running on time. She checked up on me to make sure I had everything I needed. She handled any and all situations that came up and everything was just perfect and wonderful. As an example, in the craziness and shuffle of the day, the Maid of Honor speech was misplaced. Within minutes, Marybeth was able to print another one out to calm my MoH's nerves. I absolutely loved having a separate room for the cocktail hour. Our attendant made sure we had every option of food the general room had and made sure to get extra of the bacon and burrata I so desperately wanted. Many of our guests said it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to! Everyone raved about the food, it was plentiful and so delicious. We had excellent service. The bar always made sure our glasses stayed full and made sure our water was replenished to help keep us well hydrated. Everyone raved over our signature cocktails, especially the berry sangria! The food was absolutely superb! They even packed us dinners and our dessert plate to take home at the end of the night, and I heard from many guests that they had their dinners packed up as well from how full they were from the cocktail hour! The late-night passed apps were so cool too! The wait staff came out with light-up platters of mozzarella sticks, mini hot dogs, etc, which looked amazing with everyone on the dance floor. I really hope our videographer got that on film! Great people to work with, and a beautiful night! I have never experienced such great and amazing service before. This will always be the place to go for any parties we have in the future! I am definitely recommending this venue to anyone I know getting married, just for the selfishness of wanting to attend a Mayer Wedding as a guest!

We actually wound up getting pregnant around the same time, and she accommodated me, calling me instead of having our meetings in person, and even when she went on maternity leave she gave us all of the information we needed so that it was a seamless transition! It was extremely helpful. We picked the venue without doing the tasting, but when we went to the tasting to pick out our food, we had trouble picking just a few because they were all so good! The week of our wedding, we had some people cancel and had to move some tables around, updated our escort cards (which were very confusing) and they did everything we asked! The day of our wedding went perfectly! The cocktail hour was done with a pianist and the entire building was decorated beautifully. We made our own centerpieces and they executed my vision to the T. Our matre’d, Jessica made sure we were taken care of all night. The food the night of was even better than the tasting! Our cake was AMAZING. I can’t say enough good things about this place. There is a beautiful outdoor garden where you can take phots, and the fountain out front is another great photo op! Thank you so much for making our wedding more than we could have asked for!

appointment to take a look for myself. Upon walking I was overwhelmed with how beautiful of a space it was. I especially loved that they only have one wedding at a time. This had been the first venue we visited and we booked that very day for March 30, 2019 choosing the majestic package. Our bridal coordinator, Marybeth, was with us from that the very first day until our wedding day. I cannot begin to explain how easy and effortless she made my wedding planing. We booked 18 months before our “ I do’s”, and no matter how silly my questions were ( and believe me there were MANY) she always answered quickly and professionally. The day of my wedding was extremely smooth. We had both ceremony and reception, and both were beautiful. My husband was so concerned about not enjoying our cocktail hour, and were reassured time and time again we would have lot of treats waiting for us inside the bridal suite. They did not disappoint whatsoever, the food was delicious. My bridal party was able to taste everything without having to go from station to station. Our bridal attendant was amazing, constantly replenishing our drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. The entire staff was excellent. Our wedding cake was not only beautiful but it was delicious! My guests continue to reach out to us with compliments on how wonderful everything was. Best decision we made during our wedding planning for sure!!

She created a room that blew away anything my wife or I could have ever imagined. The service at the reception center is second to none. All of the staff there are extremely kind, and attentive. My wife and I were never without a drink, and anytime we looked as though we needed something, Hazel, and Amina were there to help. I truly cannot recommend the Reception Center more. They created a beautiful night, and gave my wife and I a wedding that we, and our guests, will never forget.

I came across this venue on the knot, it caught my attention because of the 5 star it was given, 1st venue we looked at and we fell in love with this place, though we looked at several others. This venue was the place for our wedding, the elegant look, intimate and romantic feel of the place, is breathtaking. Lets start with Marybeth the wedding coordinator of the Reception Center, she was an angel, she helped me through every step of the planning, for my dream wedding. Marybeth, you did it, the venue looked beautiful!!! food was exceptional, from the cocktail hour, Buffet Dinner that we choose and Venetian desert, with the Waffle and Ice cream station. Our guest couldn't stop raving about it the whole night, and they are still texting and talking about it through social media, about the food, how beautiful the place looked and the service from the staff. 5 Stars!!! My husband and I want to especially thank our Matrie D, Hazel, I love her!!! We had bridal suite and Hazel took care of us and our bridal party, I can't forget Zoe, she kept our drinks coming, for all of us, thank you girl. Hazel thank you for packing food for my husband and I, since you knew we barely ate the whole night. arybeth attached the wedding packages and cost information. Most of the other venues that I contacted ignored questions regarding packages and costs until we booked a tour with them. The Reception Center was within our budget, so we did the Tasting and Tour a few days later. I went with my wedding-planner-pro sister. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the décor & ambiance of the venue. Marybeth asked if there were any food allergies beforehand. I have celiac, so they put all of the gluten free food on a different plate to avoid cross-contamination. The food was delicious. My sister and I were sold on the venue. It didn’t take much to convince my husband and we booked the venue the following Saturday. Marybeth was super helpful during the entire planning process, every question I had was answered (even if I asked the same question 3 different times). She somehow managed to alleviate a lot of the stress that goes along with planning a wedding. They even made me my own little gluten free cake! Our wedding went flawlessly. Marybeth & Peg were so helpful and even though I was a nervous wreck, Peg somehow managed to calm me down. Our maître d was amazing… she knew what we needed before we knew it. Everyone was raving about the food and the shakes & slider station was the biggest hit!

Everything was set up perfectly and looked beautiful when we arrived at the venue for the ceremony. There is a cute little garden that provides a nice background for photos. The food was plentiful and delicious; people are still raving about it. Our Maître d’, Jessiann, was amazing. She made sure that our sweetheart table always had full drinks and full plates of food, and would remind us to eat. The wedding cake was the best cake that I’ve ever eaten; everyday we fight the temptation to eat the one year anniversary piece early. All of these things for a great value - definitely the best in the area. Our wedding went perfectly because of this venue and the staff and we cannot recommend them enough.
