She kept things running on time during our wedding day, constantly checked in with my husband and I to make sure we had everything we wanted, and even helped the groomsmen with their boutonnières! After the ceremony, we took a moment in our suite to officially sign our marriage papers, and Krystel brought up a plate of our hor doeuvres and our signature drinks to make sure we ate! She even recorded a piece of our final private dance, and we hold that video in a special place in our hearts. We held our rehearsal dinner in the Hillside House the night before, and it was such a great space for everybody to spread out and celebrate the upcoming festivities. Decoration drop off was seamless. We also had the same bartenders for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding, so it was great to get to know them over the weekend! They were wonderful, fast, and accommodated every drink request! We didn’t meet Toufik until the day of our wedding, and how I wish we knew him sooner! It is so very obvious that he wants this to be the best day of your life. He always made sure my husband and I had full drinks and full plates! We had a grandfather present with special needs, and Toufik constantly checked in with him to make sure he had everything he needed. A huge thank you to Toufik! We’ve gotten so many comments about the meals from our guests, and how impressed they were with the food. Everything was so delicious and there’s certainly something for everybody on the menu! A huge thank you to the kitchen and serving staff. We couldn’t believe how quickly and efficiently The Barn changed into a reception room after the ceremony. The setup team worked fast, and all of our table decorations were placed just as we wanted. We are so grateful for everybody working behind the scenes to make it all come true! Andrew and Nancy at The Inn made room reservations and check-in so easy for everybody. The biggest thank you to the team at The Red Lion Inn. They truly care about your wedding dreams and want to accommodate all your wishes. They made our fairytale wedding a reality, and we are forever grateful. ❤️

Having the inn right on site for our family, friends, and guests made everything seamless and stress-free, and hosting our after-party on site was such a fun and convenient bonus that kept the celebration going well into the night. The cozy, classic New England charm tied everything together perfectly. While the setting is gorgeous, what truly makes The Red Lion Inn exceptional is the people. Every staff member was professional, kind, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. A huge thank you to Krystel, our amazing event producer, who was warm, organized, and incredibly attentive from day one. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail was flawless and that we could simply relax and enjoy the day. Toufik, the Event Manager, ensured we were well fed and hydrated from morning to night—always one step ahead of what we (and even our parents!) might need. Andrew, the Innkeeper, was equally wonderful, helping with our bags, solving a room issue, and even turning up the heat in the “cave” after photos when I was cold. The bartenders and wait staff were attentive, friendly, and somehow remembered everyone’s drink orders all night! Our guests are still raving about the food, the atmosphere, and the outstanding service. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We wholeheartedly recommend The Red Lion Inn and its phenomenal team to any couple searching for a wedding venue. It was truly the best day of our lives—and we wish we could do it all over again!

The food was delicious (both cocktail hour and reception) and the execution was flawless. She even accommodated additional tours as we had family from out of town visit a different time. Krystel our event producer worked with us more than a year in advance to ensure every detail and all of our special requests were met. She always communicated in a professional and timely manner. Krystel was with myself, husband, wedding party, and family every step of the way during our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. She made us all feel at ease and confident that the day would run without a hitch. My mom was worried about where she would store her personal items during the wedding and Krystel made sure to keep a close eye on them and bring them out whenever she needed them. Krystel laid out all of our decor beautifully and it was an absolute dream to see the venue all set up and see that our vision was captured. Toufik our event manager was so attentive and was present from the moment I arrived to get ready until the after party and even checked in with us the next morning. He always checked in on myself, husband, wedding party, and family to make sure all of our needs were met. He brought both the bridal and groom suites our breakfast, lunches, and beverages and made sure everything was always well stocked. He went the extra mile to set up tripods for us to record our ceremony. Andrew the innkeeper worked with us more than a year in advance to book the rooms for our wedding party and always communicated in a timely and professional manner. On our wedding weekend he went the extra mile to help bring in our decor, get our rooms ready earlier than the designated check in time, and offered us breakfast the morning of. Andrew offered us a free stay on our anniversary and we cannot wait to come back to the RLI. We also wanted to thank all of the wait staff and bartenders who made us feel so well cared for. The bartenders accommodated our signature cocktails which didn't have the most common ingredients and also ensured there were non-alcoholic options. All of our guests complimented the venue saying it was "beautiful" and "stunning" and that it was one of the best if not best weddings they had ever attended. They complimented the appetizers, dinner, cake, and beverages. My uncle would not stop raving about his steak and said that it was perfectly medium-rare which is hard to achieve with an event this large. We cannot thank the Red Lion Inn enough for everything they did to make our weekend/day so special. If you want a wedding venue and staff who will prioritize you and treat you as family we highly recommend the Red Lion Inn!

Jan, the head bartender, was so much fun – she helped us create specialty cocktails and brought such great energy to our guests. Thank you for making that spiked hot cocoa bar happen! All our guests were saying how amazing the food was and the after-party at the tavern was the perfect way to cap off the night. And the guest rooms made this venue extra special, having our closest family and friends all under one roof made the whole day run so smoothly. Everything, from the moment we arrived to the time we left, was perfect, and we owe it all to Sam and the amazing staff at the Red Lion Inn.

ike I really needed to give this venue (and the amazing team behind it) the credit they deserve. We had a quick turnaround for a wedding, ~8 months, and with a lot going on in my life, I wanted to find a venue that handled everything for you, without me worrying about bringing in a million of my own vendors. The first time we did a tour of the venue I instantly fell in love and didn't feel like I needed to even see other venues. You could tell they were wedding EXPERTS and had thought of everything a bride and groom could need. We booked it a week later and started our planning process with Krystel. She was INCREDIBLE and made me feel like I didn't have to worry about a thing – she was always so responsive, helpful and on top of every little detail. She went over and beyond during both the planning process and the actual wedding day to make sure all of our needs were met. The month leading up to the wedding, everyone kept asking me how it was possible that I wasn't stressed at all – Krystel and Red Lion Inn were the reason for that! My husband and I now look back at our wedding as the most perfect, magical, special, and fun day. Although we are of course biased, even our guests couldn't stop talking about it for months after the big day – how charming the venue was, how amazing the food was, how great the band, Sugarbabies, and florals, Pond Street Florals, were (both vendors were recommended by RLI which was so helpful as well). If you want a stress free wedding planning experience and picture perfect wedding day, I cannot recommend RLI enough.

From the historic inn, to the stunning barn, to the location right in the heart of quaint Cohasset, the Red Lion Inn is the wedding venue you dream about. It seems impossible that anything could out-do the beauty and charm of the venue, but the staff sets the bar even higher. From Krystel, to Andrew, to Nancy, to the MVP Toufiq, I have never felt more spoiled in my life. Every single person that interacted with me and my guests was kind, professional, and generous with their time. On top of the charm and the incredible team, the food is second to none. As a vegetarian, I have been to so many weddings where my meal is an afterthought. But not at Red Lion. Every single thing on the menu was absolutely delicious, including the vegetarian options. Beyond how delicious the food is, they accommodated every single guest and their dietary needs like the pros that they are. Red Lion is worth every penny. If you are lucky enough to be considering this venue, I encourage you to fully commit. We were taken care of like family from the first time we stepped foot in the venue, and it is because of them that our wedding day was the best day of our lives. We already cannot wait to go back and have dinner in the tavern just so we can feel the warmth of that incredible place once more.

away. I convinced him to go look at the Red Lion Inn, even though it is only 15 minutes from our house. When we walked in to the venue, he said "Wow, this is beautiful," and he was sold. From that moment on, we worked with our wedding coordinator, Samantha, to plan our big day. She was helpful, responsive, pleasant, patient, and kind. We seriously could not have asked for a better planning experience. We also worked with the Inn Keeper, Andrew, to plan our room blocks, and he was so welcoming and warm. Now, the day of (October 25, 2024), was absolutely perfect. We did not have one worry in the world- everything was taken care of before we even thought of it. The overall aesthetic of the day was picture perfect. But, let me tell you about what you cannot see in pictures- and what is more important- how you are treated. When we say that ALL STAFF were (and are) phenomenal, we mean it. It truly did not feel like they were "working"- it felt as if they were hosting us and our guests, and were more than happy to do so. It is now three weeks later, and our family and friends are still talking about our wedding; how much fun they had, how great the food was, how nice everyone was, and how it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to!

ng, but where it really excels is its staff. One thing you don’t think about when venue shopping is: how will the staff treat me on my wedding day? And it does truly make or break the experience! I have been in plenty of weddings where the venue treated us like another wedding on a long list. At RLI, we were treated like unique individuals and truly like royalty from the second we booked the venue. Our coordinator, Krystel, was responsive, helpful, and friendly. On the day of, she was a true super star and you would never have known we were at the end of peak wedding season for her. When my MOHs couldn’t get my very advanced bustle working, Krystel spent 45 minutes doing it for us, and laughing with us as we tried to figure it out. Toufik, the banquet manager, was absolutely lovely. He always had a smile on his face and had food ready for us to try at every turn. Andrew, the innkeeper, made all our friends and family feel right at home. This is a true team of hospitality professionals. We LOVED our wedding and cannot recommend the RLI highly enough! If you’re on the fence, book it!

They made us feel special, and got to know us, our wedding parties, and our families. We knew the RLI was our wedding venue from the second we saw it but we were BLOWN AWAY but how incredible it was. The food is amazing, and being able to get ready on site, stay on site, and have an after-party space included, there are really so many reasons we would choose the RLI again!

We held our ceremony and reception in The Barn and cocktail hour at the Hillside House , and the after party in The Cave - all of the transitions were seamless and it made everything very convenient for our guests. I cannot emphasize enough how helpful the entire Red Lion team was throughout our wedding weekend, we never had to worry about a single thing. Even a last minute, day-of wedding gown alteration - Krystel knew exactly who to get in touch with and saved the day! All of our guests have repeatedly told us how much fun they had and how beautiful the space was. I would highly recommend checking it out and don't shy away from the idea of a winter wedding in New England - the Red Lion Inn is beautiful in the summer but so cozy in the colder months!

wedding day was an absolute dream come true. We loved visiting the Red Lion Tavern throughout our engagement for brunch or dinner to get excited for the big day and the group tasting was SO fun. The Inn has 14 rooms on the property so our closest friends and family were able to spend the night which made everything so magical. We are so thankful for Andrew, Krystel, and Toufik for making us feel one in a million. We will forever be grateful for this AWESOME place!!

Sam helped us from the day we signed our contract, organizing the little details and ensuring the ceremony and reception ran on smoothly and on schedule, putting us at ease. With the Inn, we were able to have access to the whole property on our wedding day. I got ready with my bridesmaids in the beautiful Hillside House, our ceremony and reception were in the barn and the after party was in the tavern. We were also able to rent the inn rooms on the night of the wedding. I cannot recommend the Red Lion Inn enough for your wedding!
