From the big picture to the finer details, we felt seen, loved, and supported every step of the way. As a same-sex couple, that support was especially meaningful. Our friends and family have repeatedly told us that it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to, and honestly the Redmoor was a huge part of it coming together so beautifully. The scratch-made food is truly delicious; the sound system and layout are perfect for a lively party; and the deep care we experienced from our event coordinator, Jen, and owner, Mandie, made this feel like far more than an event space for us—the Redmoor team feels like family. The Redmoor is a unique Art Deco wedding venue located in Cincinnati, OH. Housed in an 1930s era movie theater, it maintains a vintage elegance that is truly one-of-a-kind. A historical landmark turned modern event venue, The Redmoor is the perfect choice for couples who want a quirky and memorable wedding.
The Redmoor was established in 1938 as an avant-garde movie theater in Mt. Lookout Square. It was the first of its kind in the area and a smashing success, often seen with long lines of people eager to get in to watch films. After a successful few decades, it became the Cinema Grille, a steakhouse-theater hybrid that was completely revolutionary for the times. After this, interior designer David Millet took over the space, renovating it into the iconic event venue that it is today. Making sure to honor its unique past yet fitting it with all the modern amenities needed for a great wedding, he was able to bring this distinct setting to life in a new way.
All wedding packages include tables, chairs, glassware, silverware, and linens. The venue has a large dance floor, a raised stage, and is fitted with cordless microphones to use during your ceremony or reception. The floor plan is flexible and customized according to your preference, and the venue can accommodate up to 225 guests. There are private rooms for the wedding party to use as get-ready spaces and plenty of parking available for guests. The Redmoor even has an in-house executive chef who can work with you to create the perfect menu for your special event. From casual buffet-style dining to a formal sit-down dinner, the team at The Redmoor can do it all.

and Jennifer, the other coordinator, are fantastic. They were super responsive with emails, answered all of my silly questions, and made my day run so smoothly. All I worried about day of was getting ready and trying not to cry! I also highly recommend the food there. It was AMAZING. It's impossible to please everyone, but I have yet to hear one of my guests who didn't enjoy the food. The price was extremely fair for the quality of service. All of the workers were so attentive and helpful and just nice to be around. It's a great place with a great staff. All around, they made my day so special and I am so glad I trusted my gut and chose them.

ghout the whole wedding planning process! She was amazing! She helped with any questions we had throughout the process and she ran the rehearsal. The crew did all delivery collaborations (I ordered decor from an outside company and they handled all of that) that needed to be done, the crew set up the wedding, Jennifer was there for wedding day coordination, and they took all the decorations down for us so all we had to do was pick them up the next day. They serve food there so we didn’t have to worry about finding outside catering and everything was absolutely beautiful! I could not have asked for a better place and I thought the price was very reasonable for everything! 10/10 would recommend!

ur big day made every decsion after booking the venue easier than we could have imagined. Once booking with the Redmoor, everything else fell into place. With recommendations from Mandie (who is very experienced and knowledgable) made wedding planning super easy.
Beyond the planning stage, our actual wedding day was as smooth as possible. With an experienced full staff to ensure our guests were happy, as well as my husband and I. Mandie ensured that our timeline was followed to a T, and helped us organize our timeline in the planning stage to guarentee the most beautiful day I could have imagined.
The venue is stunning. The food was delicious. The staff was so helpful. Mandie is knowledgable, experienced, and efficient. Book Here! You won't regret it for your own wedding day.

he came through on everything promised before, during and after our wedding! If great food is a priority for you at your wedding, you have to go with The Redmoor. It was AMAZING! We got loads of compliments from our guests about how Chef Scott’s food was so much better than typical wedding food. We made a couple of requests outside of the typical menu they were able to accommodate, like Argentine-style empanadas for the groom’s side of the family. They were praised as very authentic by those who came from Argentina! We loved the space and the vibe as perfect for what we were going for-timeless elegance. We were glad we didn’t have to add a ton of decor since the space is already beautiful. We are looking forward to attending other events there in the future!

She makes sure that you have a great time as the couple but also that your guests have a great time via a timely, well-oiled reception. Everyone loved the staff, the atmosphere, THE FOOD, the drinks, and all the extra touches The Redmoor is proud to provide. Some bonuses: we saved on our food and drink budget by offering cheaper kids' meals options and by not having to pay for an open bar for anyone under 21 or working as a vendor. Mandie even went out of her way to save the top part of our cake which meant a lot to us. Our favorite part was the food, it was incredible. The wait staff was so on top of it that I never had to leave the dance floor or worry about my guests waiting. On the day of, she made everything so unbelievably relaxed and carefree, there was nothing I had to worry about that day except for tripping while walking down the aisle. ;) She made our wedding more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.
Let's talk about the food: I have two words: AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. Our guests were STILL talking about the New York Strip, potatoes, chicken, and our appetizers.

Mandie was nothing short of spectacular. From day one, she was calm and collected (like she’s done it a million times 😉)! asy to work with and very helpful with all of my questions. I told her how I wanted the tables set up and Mandie did a beautiful job. She helped build out the reception timeline and made sure everything flowed smoothly. Everything was perfect.
The food was amazing. Plus, it was so nice not having to have another vendor to deal with to cater the food. They are willing to customize the menu to what you want. I wanted an appetizer with bacon and they came up with a BLT lettuce cup appetizer. It was delicious (and went quick). We also used the popcorn machine, which was so much fun. We also had some late night pizza (delicious!). All the food was great.
Overall, I highly recommend The Redmoor. Mandie and her team are great.

was delicious. Many of our guests commented not only on the high quality of the dinner, but the beautiful presentation as well. The warm, cozy, and nostalgic atmosphere was the perfect setting for her special day. There were plenty of servers and the service was efficient and friendly the whole evening. The Redmoor is a little piece of heaven right in Mt. Lookout. I can’t compliment this venue enough. I give it a five star rating!

The in-house food and beverage package provides a wide variety of delicious options and convenience of not needing an outside caterer. We received so many compliments on the fun atmosphere at The Redmoor. The marquee outside adds a fun touch to the venue! We can’t say enough wonderful things about The Redmoor staff and the outstanding service we received! I would recommend The Redmoor to anyone without hesitation, we are beyond happy with our decision!

or us right off the bat, even from our very first meeting to just tour the venue we knew that we could rely on him and that he would take care of us.
Having in-house food and drinks was a major selling point for us along with the cool atmosphere and the reasonable price. The food was really really good (especially the lasagna! highly recommend!)
I was stressing about all of my decorations, DIY photobooth, and dessert table and Brian met us a couple days early to drop it all off and go through how we wanted it set up. That took a load of stress off of us and knew we were in good hands to have Brian set it all up the day of the reception. And it all looked great when we arrived! He greeted us at the door and took care of everything throughout the evening and stayed til the end to help clean up. All of the other staff that night were incredibly nice and helpful too.
If you're looking for an all-in-one reception venue, I highly recommend The Redmoor!
