Beautiful venue and an amazing staff! The Regent is a stunning venue for any event with plenty of room and all the amenities you could require! The three room layout offers many different options for events and allows you to fit the space to your needs. The building itself is stunning and the finishing work is impeccable, there is little need to decorate! Upon entering the stunning foyer until exiting to the terrace, the space is elegant and provides a comfortable space to make your night special. The kitchen provides room for your caterer and the spaces for the bride and groom allow for a comfortable area during your hectic day. The bathrooms are clean, well finished, and are large enough to accommodate a large event. There are plenty of amazing photo opportunities and sunset lighting comes in perfectly. There is plenty of parking and a few hotels with shuttles near in vicinity.
The staff are a pleasure to work with and accommodate your needs as best as possible. The are professional and respond quickly and efficiently. Access to the space is available and information for your caterer/DJ is provided. Working with Faith and Lisa was a great experience and they made our day that much more special.
I had my wedding at The Regent earlier this month. The entire wedding went smoothly. The event manager (Faith) is easy to communicate with. She responded to my emails in a timely manner. She is also professional and friendly. Faith was able to give my wife and I an initial tour of the venue via Facetime (we live out of state). The venue has a courtyard and ballroom. The Regent provides white outside chairs for the courtyard, rectangle and circle tables, and certain color table clothes. On the day of the wedding they will allow access to the venue 6 hours before the ceremony. They have a bridal suite for the bridesmaids and a conference room area for the groomsmen. They allow 5 hour total of event time (wedding/reception). The outside terrace has marble floors. There is ample parking here. Many of the guests at the wedding commented on the regal look of the venue. If you are having a wedding in Tampa, I would recommend for you to choose The Regent as the place to start your happily ever after. You will get alot of value for a good price.
This venue is absolutely breathtaking! The pictures came out so beautifully and the staff here is so accommodating and easy to work with. From the time we had the walk-through till the last dance at the reception The Regent did not disappoint! This is a beautiful location for all sorts of events! I highly recommend them!!
The Regent was the perfect experience for my wedding. The staff is great and very helpful. Julie, Christina, Zach and Denise. The only complaint we had is that we could not stay and party longer and that is no fault of The Regent's. Due to the noise ordinance for the area, the venue has to end activities at 11pm. The location is beautiful inside and out, upgrades they have made have just further increased the elegance of the venue.
My wedding also incorporated cultural elements that they were able to accommodate seamlessly. I truly appreciate everything they did to make my day perfect.
The regent is a beautiful venue, and the staff is amazing! Julie has been so kind and patient with my husband and I planning our wedding. The day of our wedding, Zach was always there, checking in. Everything went so well and I could not be happier! I'm so glad we chose this place! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!!
The Regent is an amazing venue for a wedding! The venue itself is beautiful and provides a lot of different photo opportunities. The staff was always prompt and organized. The linen that was ordered did not match the color of our chair cushions and the day before the wedding the staff reordered different linen without me even asking! Every aspect was very professional and made my wedding day feel flawless.
I am writing this review with mixed feelings. On one hand, the venue is very beautiful and handles large crowds easily. The back courtyard is a little plain but can be dressed up nicely. The venders associated with the venue such as the DJ by CJ, Catering by Lundy, and Event Designs were very reasonably priced and very willing to work with you. From that stand point, I would rate the venue a 5.
However, I will have to say that when I booked with the Regent. I was promised things that were not delivered until the last minute. I felt that there many instances of miscommunication between the contract changes and floor plan as well as set up and responsibilities. There were many meeting cancellations at the last minute which was frustrating with my busy schedule. Also, when I booked, I was not told that there was going to be construction going on behind the courtyard. From that stand point, I would rate it a 2 out of my frustration.
However, I will have to say that I could not have had a more beautiful wedding and things all worked out. Just be prepared for some bumps and perhaps miscommunications along the way.
