The Reserve at Fat Bottom Brewery is a 3,000 square foot room with beautiful reclaimed oak wood floors, industrial character, & simple modern aesthetics. The space has four rollup doors that open to a large heated & covered patio which view Fat Bottom Brewery's beer garden, allowing for open air dining. The Reserve can accommodate up to 180 seated or 350 standing. Optional beer garden rental can accommodate up to 50+ additional seated.

We had our wedding here on 7/6/24 and it was the most perfect day ever! We started working with Emily, the venue coordinator, in January and had everything planned within 6 months. She was attentive and detailed and never batted an eye at all of my questions and requests! They made the process so easy for us and almost everything was included which made things super stress-free for us. The only vendors we had to hire were our day-of coordinator, DJ, and photographer. On the day of, we were able to come early and drop off decor and flowers - they were super flexible with us throughout the whole process. Our guests raved about the atmosphere, the food (especially the fried chicken and banana pudding), just everything! We rented out the beer garden and the Reserve and it was the perfect amount of space for 100 guests. If you are looking for a venue with good vibes, great food, excellent staff, string lights, and indoor/outdoor flow, I can't recommend this place enough!
We hosted our wedding here 3 weeks ago, and the experience was great. Emily is fantastic to work with; she made the process on her end really smooth. The space was perfectly set up and looked even better than we could have imaged the day of. The food and drink selections were awesome. If you’re looking at venues, I would definitely check The Reserve out.
My husband and I had our wedding at The Reserve this past October and our experience was nothing short of amazing! We worked closely with Emily who took care of us from start to finish. She even stepped in when I was having difficulty with other vendors and made sure that everything went smoothly the day of the wedding. The venue is perfect and offers the best atmosphere for a relaxed and beautiful wedding. Every member of the staff was kind and made sure my guests as well as my husband and I were taken care of all day. The food was delicious (I can’t tell you how many times I have had guests compliment the food), the beverage selection wide ranging, and the space was perfect! I loved having both the indoor and outdoor areas available to us. All in all, I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience at The Reserve. If I had to do it all over again, I would without a doubt book with The Reserve and work with Emily!
We booked The Reserve at Fat Bottom for our wedding reception, and couldn't have been happier that we did. Fat Bottom was easy to work with during the planning phase, and we really appreciated their willingness to tailor the food, drink, seating, and other details to our specific needs without constant upselling or putting us on the hook for things we did not want. We had the indoor space and beer garden for an event with about 100 people, and it was plenty of room even with a live band and dance floor. The staff at the event itself was absolutely top-notch, and the food got lots of compliments from our guests. Highly recommend.
We used this venue for our rehearsal dinner and it was absolutely perfect! We were able to use the outdoor space to rehearse and the indoor space for dinner and drinks. Alex was amazing to work with and made everything run super smoothly. The food was delicious and we had the best time!
Not happy with this venue. It’s the one thing we wish we could change about our wedding. All of our other vendors were amazing, so our wedding came together, but we didn’t love this venue. I want to preface that I’ve given all our other vendors amazing reviews – I am not super picky or hard to please. However, I feel the need to write this, so if other brides choose FB, they can at least avoid some of these problems.
Pro: the food was GREAT! We had the chicken, pulled pork, brussels, potatoes, and bean salad. Joe was helpful with ordering our wines, and the look (open garage doors, string lights, etc.) was the casual wedding vibe we wanted.
Con 1: It’s deceiving when they say they can hold 180. We had 145 people and to make room for a buffet and a dance floor, four of our tables had to be placed outside (luckily weather was perfect). Those tables were awkwardly in the middle of cocktail hr and separated from everyone else. If we had had 180 people, we would have had NO dance floor. They should not advertise it as 180 for a wedding, when 99% of weddings need a dance floor.
Con 2: The service at the wedding was bad. We had an extra bar outside for cocktail hr and our guests had to wait in an INSANE line to get one drink. It was embarrassing. This isn’t FB’s first wedding, so they should have known that everyone would try to get a drink at the same time, causing a rush – if they had warned us of this, we would have paid for at least two more bartenders for that time. To solve the problem in the moment, my dad asked them to open up the other bar inside (where the reception would be) during cocktail hour, so ppl could split up between the bars. They kept saying no until our wedding planner stepped in, but at that point cocktail hr was ending. In the middle of the wedding, the bar service was moving so slowly, we had to ask again plz add some more help behind the bar. Most disappointing was that the buffet took AGES to get refilled, which meant that it took us over 1.5 hours to get all of our guests’ food. It took so long, we eventually had to just start speeches while people were still getting up for food. I’ve been to a million weddings and have seen buffets move much quicker, so again–embarrassing. Our guests were starving and since the dance floor hadn’t opened up it was such an awkward downtime. Also, one of the bars ran out of rose one hour into the wedding, but didn’t get any more from the other bar. Seemed like they had 0 coordination.
Con 3: Such an easy fix for them, but the bridal suite was SO disappointing. When we arrived, the trash can in the bathroom was full of other people’s trash, there was no water in the jug or the fridge, there wasn’t even a hook to hang my dress (they had a rack with a few hangers, but it was super short so my dress was bunched up on the floor). Water is just a basic and obvious need – they could have taken that one extra step and laid out some snacks or even a glass of or two of cheap champagne (it’s not like it was a whole party there – just my mom and I went early).
Con 4 (my fault): I didn’t realize the lack of privacy the venue had. The ceremony is on the road, so anyone playing music or walking on the sidewalk, could be heard during the ceremony. That part is MY fault for not realizing before we booked, but feel the need to warn other brides. All in all, our wedding was GREAT, but that was because of our planner/florist (Amy & I Designs) and our friends/family, not because of FB.
The Reserve was actually perfect for our wedding!! The space is beautiful and was the perfect size for our 130 person wedding. The food and alcohol were a big hit! The tables and chairs were included which was very convenient. Planning a wedding during COVID was stressful at times and led to some communication delays, but the venue manager was very flexible and accommodating - I can’t recommend this venue enough!
I cannot say enough good things about this venue and its staff. They were all so knowledgeable and prepared and understanding during this crazy time to have a wedding. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Sarah was a rockstar! If you are lucky enough to have your wedding there, you will not regret it.
We have loved working with The Reserve team at Fat Bottom for our wedding. From the initial planning, to navigating the pandemic - they were helpful, communicative, and understanding all of the way. The food is great. The venue is lovely. High recommend The Reserve for your next event.
We had our wedding reception at The Reserve, and it was PERFECT. The space is lovely, the staff was excellent, everything went smoothly, and every detail was thought through. Sarah does an amazing job and was so helpful, especially with us planning our wedding from afar. Oh and the food was delicious. We got so many compliments from our guests. I would HIGHLY recommend Fat Bottom for a wedding venue. It was amazing.
We used Sarah and the Fat Bottom team for a corporate holiday event. They went above and beyond and truly exceeded our expectations. They were easy to communicate with and offered many helpful suggestions. They were flexible with timing and helped a lot with additional vendors. Our experience with Fat Bottom was one of the best we have ever had. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fat Bottom to anyone that is needing a venue, for any occasion. You will not regret it! We had such a wonderful experience planning and hosting our November wedding at Fat Bottom with Sarah and Kassi. They were attentive, proactive, and the event went off without a hitch!
We hosted our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in the beer garden and reception and dancing inside the Reserve. Our guests raved about the convenience of an all-in-one venue, and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the beer! Sarah worked seamlessly with our planner and florist to help us achieve all of our little detailed requests, and Kassi helped us ensure all of our guests (from 11mos to 85 years old!) and vendors were well cared for on the big day. It felt like we had an entire event crew dedicated just to us! Definitely would work with Fat Bottom again!
Absolutely perfect venue for our summer wedding! Staff was highly responsive and easy to work with. The space was beautiful and fun. We had about 145 attendees, with an outdoor ceremony and outdoor/indoor reception. A band and photo booth also fit inside. Highly recommend Fat Bottom as a venue!
Sarah was absolutely amazing at arranging everything but we had our wedding on her day off and Cassie (?) was there instead of her, which we were not informed of ahead of time. The ball was definitely dropped on our open bar which was frustrating because we had guests going next door - to the bar- and BUYING their own drinks when we had already purchased that for them. Also their “premium” bar package list had not been updated so things that I was told that were on there ( like Malibu - which is basically all I drink) was not available. Once that got straightened out, it was smooth sailing, but it was a pretty big hiccup to have. And a pretty expensive one.
Truly could not have picked a better wedding venue. We had our ceremony outside in the garden and flipped inside for the reception. Sarah was such a pleasure to work with. She had so many helpful recommendations and handled the day like a pro. Our guests cannot stop talking about the food either. The fried chicken and Brussel sprouts were simply fantastic. HIGHLY recommend this venue!
My husband and I couldn't have chosen a better venue for our wedding. Sarah, the event coordinator, is by far the sweetest person and her attention to detail and to you as a couple is impeccable. The space is gorgeous, they do any type of food in house, tables and chairs are already there for you to use, plus their beer is award-worthy. Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect and a lot of that is all thanks to Fat Bottom and Sarah!
The Reserve was an excellent venue! Sarah was a pleasure to work with, very responsive, and very flexible as things changed and came together. We were able to stay within our total wedding budget of roughly $20k for a 75 person wedding with this venue - and it was the perfect size. The bar was staffed well, and the food was outstanding. They even made us our own bride and groom plates so that we didn't have to worry about getting our own food. Highly Recommend!
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Reserve on June 24, 2017. It couldn't have gone any smoother. The staff was extremely accommodating, the food and beer were amazing, and they were super helpful the day of (as well as pre-prep). We are so happy that we chose this venue for our wedding.
We did the ceremony inside. Our guests had cocktail hour in the beer garden while the room was flipped. After the flip, everyone went back in and danced the night away with our band.
