The Ridge Hotel

From the moment we stepped into The Ridge, I looked at my fiancé/now husband and told him "this is the one!" It is an absolutely stunning venue! It's the only venue that made me choke up a little imagining getting married there. The event space is downstairs, which is nice having it slightly separated from the main lobby. The outdoor ceremony space is so dreamy, and I love that they had a backup room that wasn't the banquet hall in case of inclement weather. At night, the outdoor space is beautifully lit with so many twinkle lights as just part of the hotel itself, so from the morning through the late evening the place is gorgeous. Plus we were also the only event for the evening, which made for such a pleasant evening where we could spread out and just relax/enjoy everyone's company. I also love the staff at The Ridge! They were so accommodating and easy to work with the whole time. They dealt with my thousands of questions with ease and really helped me feel calm leading up to and on the day of my wedding. Jennifer was our day of coordinator and she was AMAZING! She was so easy to work with and talk to and made sure the entire night ran smoothly. I'm so grateful she was assigned to us because we definitely meshed very well.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!! The Ridge: It was BEAUTIFUL! It was everything that we wanted and more. Throughout the whole process, they were very easy to communicate. The tasting was amazing, and it really helped us picture what our day would look like. We were able to look at linen, chairs, and other design aspects. The food was spectacular, photos were beautiful, and the ballroom and outside area could not be beat! One of the aspects of the wedding that people constantly tell us about was how amazing the food was. It was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Jennifer: Jennifer was our day of coordinator, but she really helped with every aspect of the wedding. She helped us decide on decor, design aspects, rehearsal, managing day of issues and planning, and everything in between. She was extremely easy to work with as well as communicating with me. I was not the most decisive person, and she handled every change with ease. She really made the wedding of our dreams come true. Would recommend her time and time again!!

We couldn't be more impressed with The Ridge Hotel. Our guests continue to reach out and exclaim about how beautiful the grounds were, how gourmet the food was, how awesome the bartenders were, and how genuinely kind and caring every staff member was-- right down to individual servers at dinner. We held our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception at the hotel, and every detail was executed flawlessly! We loved that the hotel only hosts one wedding per night, so we had the entire lower level and cocktail patio for our guests to spread out and enjoy. They even allowed us to fulfill our dream of having "beer burros" at our wedding!! Our venue coordinator Alexandra was detailed, thorough, responsive, and fun to work with. She had easy-to-use tools for tracking our guests' entrees & food allergies. She took so much stress out of the process and sent updated event documents every time we made a change. Day-of, the bartenders and servers were attentive and kind, everything we needed was accommodated. They were even flexible when we had guests show up late and require dinner plates thrown together after dinner had already been cleared. There isn't a single thing I would have changed about our experience, I would give The Ridge Hotel wedding team ten stars if I could!

The Ridge is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue and my new husband and I couldn’t be happier with our choice - the fresh, modern ballroom and outdoor space for the ceremony and cocktail hour are simply spectacular. It also helps that The Ridge only hosts one wedding/event per evening - no competition or confusion with other events. Our guests found the venue beautiful and welcoming, and we received tons of compliments on the food. Cannot recommend it enough! Aesthetics aside, what really made our wedding the best day ever is the staff at The Ridge. Everyone we worked with was great, and in particular our event manager Jennifer was an absolute shining star. She helped keep us on track throughout the planning process, guided us through tastings and menu selections, and managed to keep track of all the details throughout my (plentiful) email threads. When unforeseen events popped up the week of our wedding requiring quick action to cover unexpected needs, Jennifer was there to save the day with table linens, chargers, tons of help setting up our decor, and words of encouragement when it was needed most. We wouldn’t have had our dream wedding if not for her!

I can't express how amazing our wedding was at the Ridge!! The staff was absolutely out of this world incredible! They took care of everything. The day would not have been the same if we did out wedding anywhere else. I can not give them enough praise. The food was stellar, the bartenders were personable and fun, the event coordinator was experienced, easy to work with and incredibly flexible, the hotel was supportive and gorgeous. Overall, I would not have changed a thing! It was amazing to have the whole wedding at the same place along with a beautiful lawn to conduct pictures. The Ridge is the full package!!

We had a wonderful wedding at The Ridge this past October. The venue itself is beautiful and the staff is beyond gracious. Would recommend this venue to any bride and groom seeking the perfect place to get married. We had Alexandra as our event manager and she was absolutely amazing! We couldn't have imagined our day anywhere else!

We had our wedding and reception at The Ridge in Lake Geneva in June and every step of the way was magical! The first time we saw the venue we knew it was everything we were looking for. Tracy Opel did our tour and by the end we were sold. It had beautiful grounds with impressive views attached to a hotel that could house our guests. The food tasting was perfect and that is where we met The Ridge’s venue coordinator, Mikayla Linscott. She was more than we could have ever hope for. Mikayla was so patient with us, we never felt rushed. She spent many hours meeting with us and taking our calls. She was extremely professional and definitely has a passion for wedding coordinating. Our wedding was complicated with many moving parts but Mikayla never shied away from a challenge. She found us the most beautiful tent and furniture to rent along with an outdoor dance floor. We had a band and a DJ along with fireworks all assisted by Mikayla. The wedding would not have been as spectacular without her. Not sure we could have pulled it off alone. She assisted with every aspect of the day and into the night. The next morning, she was there before anyone was awake to help remove some of our important items. She went well above and beyond with service and we are forever grateful to her. The Ridge is an absolutely beautiful venue with amazing food. We are still talking about the service we received from everyone at the Ridge. We would absolutely recommend The Ridge for its beautiful grounds, amazing food and unforgettable service from start to finish.

Mikayla was great! Always available to answer my questions and helped everything run smoothly. The space was beautiful and everyone had such a blast.

The Ridge Hotel was by the far the best decision we made related to our wedding. Every aspect of the venue was perfect from coordination and planning leading up to, to the day of execution, to the beautiful backdrops and scenery The Ridge has to offer. We received so many compliments on how stunning the venue was. Our planner and coordinator, Cory, was so great to work with and truly made our experience with The Ridge exceptional. He is responsive, understanding, and truly cared about every detail of our wedding. The rest of the staff was also amazing from the chef, to the servers and bartenders, we couldn’t believe the level of service! I can’t recommend this venue enough for a beautiful and seamless wedding day that you and your guests will never forget.

We knew we had a lot of guests traveling from out of town, so our vision was to have an all-encompassing weekend where we could host our family and friends. First of all, we had the most AMAZING service at all times and we HIGHLY recommend The Ridge. We did have a change in wedding coordinator a couple of times during the course of planning, which was very stressful for us, but Mike the General Manager stepped in and made sure every detail was carried out to be even greater than our expectations. He had constant communication with us in the planning process and was with us through the entire weekend. We hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome party in The Lakeview Room which had a beautiful view of the lake. Lazar and the rest of the banquet team made sure everything was set up perfectly to match our vision, and even performed a quick turnover between events for us. On the wedding day, they went above and beyond for us and our guests. Every server and bartender was wonderful. The staff was fun and so kind to everyone. No one ever had to wait in a line for a drink which was great. The dinner service was outstanding! It was the best tasting and most well presented food which they served to perfection to our 250 guests. Our guests overall really enjoyed being able to stay at one location all weekend to attend the various events. Chris and the hospitality team worked around the clock to provide our guests with anything they needed and went above and beyond to get everyone an early/timely check in. The lobby, restaurant, ballroom, and bridal suite are all renovated and very modern. The outdoor venue is gorgeous and we had amazing photos from our ceremony and cocktail hour. The food, the service, and the venue was spectacular from start to finish. The Ridge Hotel will be a place we continue to vacation to and hold close to our hearts. We have already made a trip back since to enjoy the new outdoor pool and reminisce on our perfect weekend.

The Ridge was the absolute perfect place to host our wedding. There are so many positives, not the least of which was the view from the outdoor ceremony location overlooking Lake Como (it helped that it was 65 degrees with no clouds in sight). The indoor reception hall was just the right size for our 125 person celebration and a nice dance floor. Our wedding coordinator at the hotel, Cory, was so attentive to all of our questions and concerns and did everything he could to make our wedding day exactly what we wanted. All of the staff was incredibly friendly, too. The bartenders were especially great. After ordering one drink, they would have our next round ready before we even got back to the bar! The only possible negative we can think of is that we didn’t love the indoor ceremony option if the weather hadn’t cooperated, but we do appreciate that they did have an onsite indoor option in the first place. Overall, though, we are just so thrilled with how our event turned out, and highly recommend The Ridge to everyone.

The Ridge was perfect for our Halloween wedding! We went through a few different coordinators due to changes on the hotels end, but everyone communicated well with each other and our day was everything we wanted it to be! We were able to have an outdoor ceremony under the large pergola at dusk with the amazing fireside room as a back up option just incase! The fireplace inside was so cozy and perfect for some extra space for guests throughout the night. The venue took all of our safety precautions (due to COVID) very seriously and worked hard to make sure we were stress free throughout the entire weekend. The day goes by entirely too quickly but it was such a beautiful and perfect day nonetheless. In addition to the venue itself - the food was absolutely amazing! Our tasting was so much fun and the chef came and met us personally and asked if there were any tweaks we wanted to make to the menu (which we didn’t, it was perfect!). Our guests still haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had/ how much they loved the venue and it’s been almost a month already. I recommend this venue without any hesitation!

My wedding day at The Ridge was absolutely perfect! When looking at reception venues, my husband and I fell in love with The Ridge because of the gorgeous outdoor ceremony space as well as the recently updated ballroom. Having a dedicated outdoor ceremony space was important to us, and the brick walkway and alter and large pergola at The Ridge looked fantastic in the middle of August. We also liked that we were the only wedding taking place on our day. Our guests were able to utilize the entire downstairs reception space as well as the private outdoor patio. The fireside room is also a great added bonus because that is where our guests were able to mingle throughout the night if they wanted some space. The food was also AMAZING! The meatballs during cocktail hour were a hit and so was the prime rib and chicken during dinner. Our guests also loved the pizza and chicken tenders for a late night snack. The banquet staff was incredible and took care of our bridal party during the entire night. They were attentive and made all of our guests feel special. We did run into a few communication issues with our coordinator and the accounting department, so be diligent in following up about deadlines and any questions you want answers to. Overall, we are so happy that we chose The Ridge for our wedding and would highly recommend the venue to anyone!

We had the most beautiful winter wedding at The Ridge in February. Everything was absolutely beautiful. I can't say enough how everything came together! Hilary was so wonderful to work with. She put the room together with all my decor so beautifully it was like walking into my exact dream wedding. Having the hotel right there was so perfect and convenient for all my guests! Also, with the lobby and bar/restaurant not being directly close to the guest rooms was wonderful so we didn't have noise disturbances for those that stayed awake late. The bridal suite is so modern and beautiful and was perfect for pictures of the girls getting dressed as well as the outside area which overlooks the lake. The Venue has been remodeled and is stunning. I loved that you also get the fireside room included for the whole night so you basically have the entire downstairs area to yourself including the outside. We had a snow doom which fit just perfect for our winter wedding as well. The reason I rated a 3 star is due to communication. We had some issues in the beginning with returning emails, not knowing who our coordinator was, went through 3 coordinators (Jordan, Michelle, another Michelle) we were promised one coordinator and then it got changed halfway through but was perfect because we absolutely loved Hilary. The room block was an awful mess. We were told not to block a large block due to the obligation to have to possibly cover those rooms if not booked, however my wedding was out of town guests of 250 invites and I knew ppl would be staying but I still listened and only reserved the 20 rooms which basically booked in 1 week. When I then tried to open a larger room block the price went significantly higher and they fought us. They also told us if we wanted rooms at the later date that the rate would be the same which it definitely was not! We had to take it as far as contacting the manager of sales. Then, when our guests called they were given wrong information, returned phone calls were not followed through, and no confirmation emails were sent. I had to have my coordinator literally go through every single guest (55 rooms) and hand email them a confirmation which I felt horrible she had to spend the time out of her busy day to do because the reservations area couldn't communicate. The staff was very friendly and polite at the front however, they could not get their act together to help our guests. Despite these frustrations there was one amazing women who works in the reservation department named Pam who fought for us and helped us so much with these hardships. Despite these frustrations, everything turned out just beautiful the day of and I still would recommend the venue. I am not one to complain so even writing this review is out of my comfort, but I do feel improvements need to be made on communication and it would be a 5 star!

We held our son and daughter-in-law's wedding at The Ridge on a beautiful fall weekend. The event coordinator, Lindsey, was so sweet to work with and bent over backwards to make everything happen. The food and service was great, the venue lovely and our guests especially loved sitting around the fire in the comfy outdoor furniture. The guest room accommodations are becoming a bit worn but I think The Ridge gets a lot of use for events. Crafted Americana and Bean +Vine were nice places to dine or hang out. I would recommend for a wedding --lovely setting on Lake Como and easy drive into Lake Geneva.

The Ridge Hotel was literally the best decision we could have ever made when it came to choosing our wedding venue. Our coordinator Jourdan was there every step of the way working out details, budget, room set up, communicating with vendors etc! My husband and I looked for venues in Lake Geneva and knew the ridge was the one the minute we saw it! The Aspen ballroom was spacious and accommodated our 105 guests, our head table, a dance floor, cocktail tables, food stations for dinner and coffee and cupcake stations with room to spare! The adjoining fireside room was fabulous to take advantage of for cocktail hour, hors d’oeurves and apps, our bar, and gift/favor tables. However the real hidden gem of the ridge hotel is the back patio and pergola outside. They have the entire area beautifully landscaped with gorgeous flowers and shrubs, delicate bistro lights out back draping the wood work on the patio, the fire pit addition is an absolute must. The pergola itself and the aisle leading up to it are beautifully done, and can be decorated stunningly for any event. We were able to customize our food and bar to accommodate allergies and special diets for our guests. The ridge made us feel comfortable and confident in serving to our gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian guests. All of the food was perfect, and our apps were delicious! The party stayed going until about 2 am and we just enjoyed the patio out back, sat around the fire with s’mores and drank champagne until we retired off to bed! We are so thrilled with our choice in venue, and all of our guests commented on how wonderful our wedding was. The coffee bar in the lobby was much appreciated the next morning, and I know a few of our guests indulged in breakfast at Americana the next day! Everything was absolutely fabulous. The only thing I will mention, because I wish someone mentioned this to me : is the ridge doesn’t provide the coloured lighting you see in many pictures of the ballroom! Everything else was provided as shown, but we actually ran to Home Depot the night before the wedding to pick up some lights for the tree decorations as well as some purple beams to back light our head table. I guess I was confused because the purple lights seem to be so consistent in many pictures that I just figured the ridge had them handy! No big deal though, $120 last minute fixed that issue! All else was beautiful, stunning, and we left extremely happy. The hotel itself is clean, extremely well kept, with a great coffee bar, good restaurant, and two pretty outstanding pools. My guests, and wedding party enjoyed the day thoroughly thanks to the Ridge!

Jourdan was a pleasure to work with. She makes herself available for phone calls, and is very thorough with every detail. The venue is gorgeous, and was the perfect pick for our amazing day!

We just got married here last weekend. We had a great time and our guests all loved the venue. Huge shout out to Jourdan who helped us out and to Ricky who cooked all of our delicious food. I know it was loved by all! Thank you for making our day so special.

I am the Mother of the Bride and I would like to thank The Ridge and our outstanding wedding coordinator, Corki who was a huge part of my daughters January winter wonderland wedding. Corki did an amazing job meeting all of our requests and needs during our planning. She made our rehearsal and wedding day stress free! Whatever we needed, she was there. And many times if I was going to ask her to do something, she had already taken care of it. Corki was incredible. I would recommend The Ridge to anyone searching for the perfect venue! We are looking forward to our next visit or special occasion at The Ridge.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Ridge, January 2018. Matt and I, along with our families made the best decision by having our wedding here. It was everything we ever dreamed of. If you are looking for a place that feels like home, feels welcoming, has a fun but classy feel, wonderful staff to work with, very accommodating, beautiful landscape and views, great food and bar, this is the place for you. Our planning was so enjoyable and smooth, thanks to our wedding coordinator, Corki. She was sure to nail down every detail of our wedding and was there for us every step of the way. From every email, to every meeting we had with her, we always trusted she would get the job done. And she did! All of the future brides that get to work with her are so lucky, and the future brides, grooms and families that choose The Ridge as their wedding venue, are truly in for the best night and experience of their life. Our guests loved the convenience of our reception being AT the hotel, also enjoyed the coffee bar, restaurant, and late night bar, with live entertainment. We took full advantage of everything The Ridge has to offer. I wouldn't change anything about our wedding weekend. The Ridge will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. We cant wait to be back just to visit, and for many future celebrations!

The Ridge is a beautiful venue for your wedding reception. Jourdan was our wedding coordinator and I can't say enough great things about her. She made the venue look so beautiful for us. Jourdan is super responsive and sweet to work with. The food was also amazing!

We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and gift opening all at The Ridge. It was wonderful! Jourdan, our event coordinator, was an absolute dream to work with - she helped us SO much!!! In the year-and-a-half planning process, we were assigned 3 different coordinators, which was a little worrying, but they were all VERY helpful and transferred all of our information to the next one. The newly renovated space was beautiful, and we were lucky enough to have nice weather for an outdoor ceremony. Guests complimented the beautiful outdoor area as well as the food! I would definitely recommend having your wedding at The Ridge!
