hter was recently married there and it was the most magical day. But let me take you back 6 months to our food tasting. Neil, the event coordinator, had the table set for us to preview colors, plate settings, etc. He noted the brides preferences and listened to their feedback. He answered dozens of questions in between serving our courses to sample. The food was delicious and from the tasting to the wedding day that didn’t change. The steak was tender, the roasted carrots amazing and the little touch of serving our younger guests chicken tenders and fries did not go unnoticed. The morning of the wedding we arrived at the venue to do hair and make up and Neil and his staff were there answering last minute questions and even running to a local breakfast restaurant to pick up our order. It was obvious in all the staff did that they were intent on making the day perfect…and it was! The focus was always on what the couple envisioned and then executing that vision. I could literally go on gushing about this venue and the staff who demonstrated such a commitment to excellence. Put this venue on your must see list and I assure you it will not disappoint!

ing romantic leads in Murder on the Orient Express, so we wanted a space with vintage charm. The Roosevelt Room delivered. Original 1911 architecture, warm oak, soaring ceilings, and period light fixtures made it feel like stepping into a storybook. Elegant, not forced. Grand, not overwhelming. We chose the Platinum Wedding Package and held everything onsite, from getting ready to the final dance. That kind of flow only happens when people genuinely care, and at Union Station, that care shows in every detail. Neil Gadbois, our coordinator, was outstanding. Calm, responsive, and thoughtful, he answered every question and embraced every request. He made the process feel effortless and let us stay present and relaxed. The food tasting alone was a highlight. We brought both sets of parents and were treated to a fully styled preview, complete with a table dressed in our theme colors and a green glass base inspired by our photos. That detail appeared on every table at the wedding, beautiful and included at no extra cost. The food was so good we had trouble narrowing it down. They even let us add vegetarian and allergy-friendly meals beyond the standard choices. Neil ran our rehearsal with warmth and clarity. That evening we hosted our dinner at Notch8, and the flatiron steaks, shrimp scampi, and smoked cocktails were a hit. Our server Paige even teared up when we shared how we met. The morning of the wedding, Neil was already there, cheerful and prepared. We added the breakfast spread and are so glad we did. It was delicious, and we are still thinking about the scones. Every moment felt calm and covered. Andrei, our lead server, was a star. He brought snacks and drinks to the bridal suite and helped lift the bride’s train during portraits so it would not get dirty. We did not ask. He just did it. During cocktail hour, he brought us appetizers and a quiet moment alone. Later, when we were more dehydrated than tipsy, he gently switched us to water. At one point, he danced across the floor with a tray of water to hand the groom a glass during the Time Warp. The staff flipped the ballroom during portraits so quietly we barely noticed. When we reentered for dinner, the room looked perfect. And the food? Incredible. Guests are still raving. The peppered beef tenderloin with mushroom demi-glace was the favorite, but the salmon and chicken were excellent too. Even the bar staff went above and beyond. The bride’s father is a loyal Labatt drinker. Bartender Tina made sure it was stocked just for him. That small gesture meant the world. We used a rented floral package, and by the end of the night, Neil had it boxed and loaded into the bride’s parents’ car. We never felt rushed or pushed out, just cared for. Union Station gave us more than a beautiful space. They gave us a day full of joy, meaning, and ease. We can't say enough in the character limit of this review, so just know this: If we had to do it again, we would choose them every time.

ing is at Union Station. We booked our May 10, 2025 wedding in November 2023. It seemed like an eternity away. From day 1, Neil was immediately available to answer any and all questions and so open to everything! Mashed potatoes instead of an entree for the bride? Easy. Pizza cutting instead of cake cutting? You bet! He was even open to fisticuffs with anyone who tried to give a surprise speech (luckily it didn’t come to that). People have not stopped talking about the raspberry sorbet… it’s me, I’m people. All of the food was incredible and no one left hungry. And the decor? Oh the decor. I showed Neil our colors and told him “moody jewel tones” and he just absolutely knocked it out of the park. Everything was so beautiful. We spent our night dancing, singing and smiling. We even got an incredible performance from the Union Station servers during karaoke. Also, our guests couldn’t stop raving about how amazing Brenda the trolley driver was that I even let my husband head back to the hotel without me so I could experience it! The trolley is so adorable! Neil, Rob, Autumn and all of our servers (especially Emma!) were so kind, fun, and accommodating. It is truly an amazing team and you are in incredible hands there. It was truly the best best day of our lives. We can’t believe it’s over already!

It was everything we hoped for, and it’s hard to imagine having pulled it off anywhere else. From the very first tour, Neil (the event director) made us feel like we were the only couple in the world. He took the time to answer every question, shared helpful advice from his years of experience, and gave us complete confidence that we were in good hands. We didn’t realize how rare that kind of care was until we visited other venues—and quickly came back to book! Throughout the planning process, Neil’s calm, professional, and responsive nature was a total gift. His team—shoutout to Robert, Emma, Autumn, and everyone at Union Station—was equally amazing on the day of. Every single person went above and beyond to make our day magical. Plus, Neil’s list of preferred vendors was top-notch and made the whole experience feel seamless. We were honestly surprised at how little stress we felt leading up to and on our big day! In terms of value, Union Station offered so much in their wedding packages—and they were the most affordable venue we toured. A lot of places in the area charge an arm and a leg just to use the space and nothing else! As for the venue itself... it’s stunningly unique. The historic charm, the exposed brick and wood beams, the stained glass windows, the quirky gargoyle bulb lamps—every inch is full of character. From the beginning, we knew that we wanted a venue where weather wouldn’t be a concern (so many things can happen outside other than rain). It ended up being a gorgeous day, even in March, and we were able to take really fun first look photos on the working train platform right outside! One of the best parts? Neil supported every zany idea we had. We skipped the DJ, had a scone-themed unity ceremony, and even set up an Atari in the Atrium. It was 100% us, and that was only possible because of the support we received at Union Station. TLDR: If you’re looking for a venue that’s stunning, affordable, and full of genuinely wonderful people—this is it. You’ll be in the best hands, I promise! I could get my questions answered and move through the tasks in wedding planning quickly. He was very attentive and professional and I love how he paid attention to small details such as what I should do with my bouquet, who should handle my train etc. Our dedicated staff, Jill was amazing. She was with us the entire evening and helped us with various small things while carrying food to make sure we got to eat when we had a chance. Neil and his team really tried their best to accommodate our requests even if it might not be the easiest. I am also very impressed with how they handled our small timing hiccups and they made it seem like that was the plan all along. The venue itself is beautiful and the cake and centerpieces from the wedding package were beautiful. Neil and his team have fantastic taste and came up with great decors for the tables just from inspo pictures I found on Pinterest. Not to mention the really delicious food, tasty cake and the awesome ice cream bar. We had so much fun!

ugh the day of the event, everything was absolutely perfect. My mom even looked at me at the end of the night and said, “I can’t believe it, literally nothing went wrong! Not a single thing!” Neil and his team are so efficient and organized. You have so much support from an extremely professional team from the moment you start working with them and the vendors they suggest/include. We had a phenomenal experience with everyone and everything. We need to provide special shout outs to: Colin, for saving the day and helping Meg tie (and re-tie!) her handmade bow tie that no one could get quite right except you! Shay, for bringing the party all night long through 1AM and making sure that Meg and I were taken care of the whole day! The entire Union Station team, for making sure every guest had a blast and enjoyed themselves. And of course, Neil, for being there with us through countless emails with questions and zoom meetings and the day of at 6AM, with a smile, being the steadfast leader and exceptional planner through the end of the wedding. We would not have had such a beautiful and stress-free wedding day without you. THANK YOU so much Union Station. If we could do it all over again, we’d choose you every single time.

ant to have to sacrifice an amazing experience for our guests. This place fit our budget and certainly was unique. We live in Chicago and wanted to host our wedding in Massachusetts as that is where we both are from. As a UMASS graduate I would frequent both the Tunnel Bar and The Deck and always loved my time there. We could not have been happier with our decision from start to finish. Everything we asked for they said yes to or that they would try and figure it out. My husband and I met at chilis and they made an exception and allowed us to have chilis chips and salsa baskets at the cocktail hour and triple dippers for a late night snack. We hosted our after party above the tunnel bar and they made it a seamless transition. The space allows for lots of space for your guest to explore from the deck, the Roosevelt room, cocktail space and the amazing tunnel bar. Having different rooms was very important to me as I like the versatility. To this day everyone continues to tell us that it was the best wedding they had ever been do. The atmosphere and the service were exceptional. Neil and his team were incredible. I truly would not have been able to do it without them. They all went above and beyond through every moment from opening the place early for the girls to get ready to Neil even running and picking up our late night snacks when we forgot to designate someone to do so. Book this place if you want a stunning venue that your guests will remember forever and an stress-free day. My only regret is not hosting our rehearsal dinner here even though we had our wedding and breakfast the next day! Thank You Neil and your team for making this day truly the best day of our life!

On the day of our wedding, it was magical and perfect. The team Neil has is absolutely wonderful, the servers were amazing. I see all the time couples missing out on appetizers and drinks, Union Station had a server ensure that my husband and I were able to get both! It truly was the best day of our lives and it wouldn't be possible without Neil and his team. We have received so much feedback from family and friends about it being the most amazing wedding and how beautiful the venue was. There is truly not enough words to describe to how amazing Union Station was. I recommended this venue to literally everyone. Truly, truly, truly amazing!!!!

From the warm and inviting cocktail space, to the rehearsal area, to the swanky Tunnel Bar underneath (it's a bar in the station's original train tunnel!)—everything was so cool and drenched in history. Neil and his team are something else. From our very first tour to the end of our wedding night, we felt so taken care of. Their packages are very robust (they don't nickel and dime you over anything), they're super accommodating of special requests, and his staff seemed to really take pride in their work, as they should! It was a fantastic experience to say the least. We highly recommend!

ears and I was nervous because was quite a long time and I didn't remember a lot from our initial conversation but if I had a question it was answered very quickly. You also cannot beat what they include for the venue for the price. The food was incredible. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got for all of it. It's amazing and our day felt like a fairytale! Neil went above and beyond and got right into the thick of it when needed and was very hands on. The building itself has so much history and detailed features that it makes it the perfect wedding space. Thank you so much for all you did guys!

He made us feel confident that we had found the right venue for our wedding and was exceptional all the way through execution of a perfect event. Robert and Andrei were assigned to be our right-hand guys from pre-ceremony all the way up to the after party, and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. We received endless compliments from our guests—the beauty of the venue, the perfectly-cooked food, even the elegance of the serving staff delivering and placing each table’s meals all at once—it was a true five-star event the whole way through. We also were able to take advantage of Platform Sports Bar for a welcoming reception for our guests the night before our wedding, and we used the Tunnel Loft behind the banquet hall/above Tunnel Bar for our after-party. Neil was involved with planning all these events and provided a turnkey service for the whole weekend. For anyone considering a wedding (or other event) at Union Station, we cannot recommend them enough!
