I cannot say enough amazing things about having our wedding at the Chase, particularly in the Starlight and Zodiac rooms. We had many out of town guests marvel at the beauty the space provided, particularly of the iconic St Louis views. On top of the obviously stunning environment, the thoughtfulness we were shown by the entire Chase staff throughout our planning process was unmatched. We planned our big day with Myles, and there was never an email or phone call that he did not promptly return even months out from our wedding weekend. 6 months before our wedding, he also planned the most gorgeous, wine-paired tasting for my entire family, which was a day none of us will ever forget. Since that time, he took time to do multiple check in calls and walk throughs to ensure we felt confident going into our big day. Sarah, the incredible pastry chef, also designed us the most gorgeous cake, not shying away when we were requesting 4 different flavors on a 5-tier cake. She went above and beyond to ensure that we received the cake of our dreams. On the weekend of the wedding, the entire Chase staff was incredible at ensuring we moved multiple items into our rooms. At our reception, the team spared no detail in making the space beautiful without lacking customer service. Many staff throughout the night checked in on me and my husband to ensure we had enough to eat and drink. They even set aside a platter of appetizers for us when we were taking photos during a portion of the cocktail hour. The hospitality did not stop through the reception as the team, noticing we did not get to eat our dinners or cake due to socializing, sent us back to our suites with a to go box of our meals and samples of multiple cake flavors. We will forever be re-living our wedding at the Chase, including the incredible planning process we had along the way, for many years to come.
Everything at the Chase was amazing and we had such a great experience working with Davina and other staff at the Chase. We felt very well taken care of and Davina was always very responsive whenever we had questions. We had our cocktail hour and reception in the Zodiac and Starlight room on the 11th floor. We could not have asked for a better venue and the views from the balcony were incredible.
The Chase was absolutely amazing - from start to finish! Davina and the entire staff exceeded our expectations! They were accommodating and professional every step of the way. The venue was gorgeous starting with just walking into the lobby and then up to the 11th Floor to the Starlight and Zodiak rooms. The views were spectacular. They took great care of us! I would highly recommend the Chase.

Excellent from the beginning of the planning process two years ago, until the very end of the reception. Katie McReynolds and her staff were wonderful. The food was delicious and the wedding cake was so awesome. Truly, a beautiful experience all of our guests will remember.
Our wedding was at the Chase Park Plaza on Memorial Day weekend, and it was STUNNING! The food was some of the best I've ever had at a wedding, the service was great, and the set up was quick, efficient, and simply beautiful. Not to mention, my guests were DAZZLED by the pool, the beauty of the lobby/common spaces, and it's closeness to Forest Park. It was a perfect day in a beautiful place.
I will say, there were a few charges during the planning process that seemed a bit cheap to put on us after we spent so much on their venue fees. For example, we had a $250 piano tuning fee, which is a little silly since pianos only need tuning like 1-2 times a year. If that. They also tried to charge us a hefty fee for delivering our gift bags/holding them at the front desk which I didn't love. I ended up giving them to my guests in person because of it. Lastly, we had a bit of a confusion with some billing issue towards the end, so just make sure that is wrapped up/confirmed ahead of time.
Other than those smaller issues, would definitely recommend having your wedding at this hotel. It was a day to remember. Thank you, Chase team!

A big reason we booked the Chase was because of their Catering director, Haseeb. Cannot say enough fantastic things about Haseeb and he really made the process so much more fun and comfortable. He’s also just a very warm person and we felt in great hands at the Chase!
It didn’t hurt that their food and cake were delicious - guests were raving about the dinner options :)

Of course there were some tiny details that got missed and the minimum spend is a bit high for a smaller guest list but if you’re looking for a hotel wedding with good food and fantastic staff I would highly recommend.
All I can say is WOW! The Chase was the best venue for my wedding EVER! Haseeb Arain is legit the best person in the world to work with. He is so knowledgeable with everything when it comes to weddings. He is kind, caring and you can tell how much he cares about what he does and YOU as the bride. Haseeb made the wedding planning process 1000x better for me and I could not have been more thankful for him throughout the planning process & on the wedding day. I am honored to have had Haseeb help me execute my big day and it could not have gone any better! Everything at The Chase was top notch in everyway possible! The waitstaff did an amazing job leaving a lasting impression on my guests! Run, do not walk, and book your wedding with the Chase! You will NOT be disappointed!
The Chase was my only choice for a wedding hotel. Its gorgeous, they gave us a great room rate, including free suite upgrades for us and our parents, and the location can't be beat. Our guests really appreciated having both Forest Park and the shops, restaurants, and grocery stores of the CWE within walking distance. We even had friends take in a film at the cinema and walk to the nearby metro to visit the arch and take in a Cardinals game during our wedding weekend.
The staff were also wonderful. Cynthia, the concierge, really helped me on numerous occasions, including saving me a tremendous amount of time in finding somewhere to do color copies. Everyone was so friendly and helpful!
Davina and the entire staff at the Chase were amazing on our wedding day and the pre-planning process. From start to finish our guests have not stopped raving about the spectacular service and views from the Zodiac room. It was an amazing weekend thanks to the Chase!!
Wow, just wow! Our wedding would not have been possible without Haseeb Arain and his incredible team at the Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta Hotel in St. Louis. We had a large 2-day wedding with our Hindu ceremony (Zodiac Ballroom) and reception (Starlight Ballroom) at the Chase. Haseeb was accommodating, flexible, punctual, and had incredible communication skills and ideas to help us fit all the pieces of our wedding puzzle together. Haseeb was even able to help my large Indian family navigate travel planning and booking rooms through the room block, and he helped my parents create a home base for our wedding weekend so all family members felt like they were at home.
If you have any question in your mind about whether Haseeb is the right man for the job, stop and book immediately. He will not only make you feel like everything is taken care of, but also will elevate your event to the next level! I would book with Haseeb 100 more times for my next 100 events. I could not be more happy with how things turned out and I could not recommend a better person for the job.
After reviewing several wedding event spaces for our daughter’s wedding, 6/11/22, we decided on the Chase Park Plaza. We could not have been happier with our choice. The cocktail hour was held in the Zodiac Room and the reception was held in the Star Light Room. Both are on the 11th floor with spectacular roof top views. Everyone involved with the Chase from the hotel group sales, Morgan, to the pastry chef, Sara, to the chef, the head waiter, Luis, his entire wait staff and bartenders were extremely professional at what they do. We received many compliments on the meal, the wedding cake, and how attentive the wait staff was to our guests needs. A special thanks to Haseeb, our point of contact for the wedding. We can not thank him enough for his openness in answering all of our questions and willingness to help make our daughter’s wedding personal and special.

It truly doesn’t get any better than The Chase, and working with the amazing, incredible Haseeb who is the best in the business. We held our cocktail hour in the Zodiac Room and our reception in the Starlight Ballroom in May 2022.
We owe so very much of our beautiful wedding to Haseeb—he is an absolute rockstar!! With his attention to detail, lighting-fast responses to our many questions, organization, curteous and attentive approach, kindness, and grace, he made my family and I feel so much more at ease. I was awe-struck when I saw how everything came together, how it was exactly what I envisioned.
He truly provided white-glove service. We were so very lucky to have him hold our hand throughout the planning process and wedding day.

I had the privilege of getting married at the Chase over Memorial Day weekend. It was flawless. From check-in to check-out, everything at the Chase was perfect and the staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful!
We worked with Katie McReynolds leading up to the wedding and I always felt in great hands! She was extremely detail-oriented, solutions-focused and a pleasure to work with. Morgan Coers went above and beyond to help ensure our guests were able to secure the best rooms. The food was incredible, well-plated and they did a great job accommodating different guest's preferences. Sara Alderson did an incredible job on our cake - it was picture perfect and tasted even better, after sending just a few inspiration pictures.
To all future brides out there, I understand that wedding planning can be overwhelming, but I'm confident that the best decision I made was to get married at the Chase Park Plaza! Thank you to all the wonderful staff!!
We chose The Chase Park Plaza for a variety of reasons. The weather in STL can be rather unpredictable in the spring, so we were looking for a venue that was unique and had the ability to feel "outside," at an inside event. The views of Forest Park from Zodiac and Starlight give you the magical vibes that take you to Central Park in NYC. If you're looking for an all inclusive event (room block, parking, ceremony, reception, brunch), just book Haseeb from The Chase. From the moment we met he saw our vision and was always available for texts, phone calls, emails and meetings. We were planning during quite a bit of uncertainty with COVID and if there is one thing I was always certain of, it was that Haseeb knew the plan and he certainly knew how to execute. We truly had the best day ever & can't thank Haseeb enough for his dedication, love, and attention to detail for our entire slew of events!
Our wedding was in the Starlight and Zodiac Rooms (top floor) and it was absolutely wonderful. The Chase, and Joy, in particular, are absolutely fabulous. I cannot say enough wonderful things about both Joy and the Chase. If you are lucky enough to work with Joy on your event and the Chase you are in great hands. She's extremely kind, efficient, prepared, knows events inside and out and makes great suggestions. She is absolutely fabulous. Part of my job was coordinating television coverage of events at many venues in town and I have never worked with a coordinator better than Joy. She makes everything work and she makes it look so much easier than it is.
Now the Chase, the food was amazing, our rooms were very nice, they made the extras like coordinating parking easy, the staff was kind and curious, and we were very happy. We were blown away by how good the food and the cake were. All of our guests were commenting on how good the food was and wishing they served the mushroom soup and butternut squash ravioli we had at the public restaurant cause we'd go all the time. The Chase and Joy made us feel so special the whole time through the tasting experience and everything. And their Pastry Chef has some serious cake decorating skills if you want a fancy cake.
The Chase acted as home base for our wedding weekend in November 2021. We held our cocktail hour in the Zodiac Room, our reception in the Starlight Ballroom, a Sunday morning farewell brunch in the Zodiac Room, and hosted all our out of town wedding guests in our room block at the Chase. Everything about our weekend blew us away. During the planning process, Joy Schmidt worked with us to take care of every little detail. The hotel itself was recently renovated and provided beautiful, updated rooms for our guests to enjoy throughout the weekend. I cannot say enough good things about the Zodiac and Starlight Rooms either - the weather was nice enough that we were even able to hold cocktail hour on the terrace outside the Zodiac Room watching the sunset over Forest Park. Throughout our reception, we received impeccable service from the entirety of the Chase's team, and multiple guests commented on the quality of the food. We are so happy with our decision to have our reception at the Chase and would highly recommend it to any STL-based couples!!
We booked this hotel for our wedding party to stay due to it’s elegance and central location. It was a good experience overall but wish the employees could have been more accommodating during our check in process!
We had our ceremony and reception at the Chase in the Zodiac and Starlight rooms. We worked with Joy for most of the planning process, but Haseeb actually took over the week before the wedding and was absolutely incredible. He even saved the day when my bustle broke! Absolutely everything during the wedding was seamless and every detail was accounted for. We did the reception stations (which we highly recommend) and our guests are still raving about the amazing food. The taco bar had a line all night! Cannot recommend the Chase enough for weddings!
We didn't have our reception at the Chase, but we used it for our hotel guests as well as a post-wedding brunch. We worked with Haseeb and he was helpful in taking care of logistics, even as we had last minute changes. The brunch in the Zodiac Room was great- the room is beautiful and has a great view and the food was delicious as well. The Chase is such a great hotel for guests to stay at and was super convenient since our reception was in Forest Park. The rooms are spacious and clean and the other amenities (pool, movie theatre, bar, etc.) only enhance your stay!
The Chase Park Plaza was a BEAUTIFUL setting for my daughter and son in law's wedding ceremony and wedding reception. Because we were having quite a few out of town guests, we wanted to have a central location for our special day and also a place where guests could stay. (Bonus! They just finished a total remodel. It's absolutely breathtaking!)
Joy Schmidt was AMAZING to work with...handling our extensive hotel room block, our ceremony arrangements--including a last minute move to a larger room in the hotel, and our arrangements for the cocktail hour/dinner/dance on the top floor of the hotel. Although very busy, she was accessible to me and to our wedding planner and was very accommodating when we had requests. We ended up adding a post wedding brunch for the morning after the wedding...it too was so beautiful and the brunch was delicious. To dress up the brunch, the hotel staff moved our wedding floral arrangements from the top floor of The Chase down to our brunch in the Empire Room. All the extra touches by Joy and her staff were soooo appreciated!
The Chase was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding...it had everything we needed for our special day including lodging and parking for our wedding party/both families/our guests, a beautiful setting for photography (inside and outside), and is centrally located in the festive Central West End area. Our guests had extremely positive comments about their stays at The Chase. Beautiful hotel, beautiful/comfy rooms, and the food in the restaurant was delicious (due to COVID, only 1 restaurant was open at the time). Speaking of food, many guests commented that the dinner served at our reception was the BEST reception food they'd ever had. Delicious! Our compliments to the chef and cooking staff...and to Joy and her team for the most memorable wedding event!
The Chase was the perfect Venue for my wedding last month. It was originally planned for May 2020 but Haseeb was able to pick up right where we left off and help us put together the wedding of our dreams. The execution was seamless and truly a magical evening ceremony and reception. We couldn't have asked for more professional and accommodating service, not to mention the enthusiasm and excitement for our nuptials! Highly recommend this beautiful and timeless St. Louis establishment for your wedding celebrations!

With everything being so different this year, The Chase was flexible, responsive, helpful and simply wonderful! My contact Joy Schmidt was so knowledgeable and added so much to our day. I didn't even need to hire a wedding coordinator (which saved some money for sure!) The food was outstanding and many guests commented how much they enjoyed it. Having the courtyard off the Zodiac room to see the Fall leaves in Forest Park was everything we had hoped for to give guests space.
Our suites were great for the girls to get ready in with plenty of room. I can't say enough about how EASY it was to plan our reception....thanks again Joy!
This venue was unbelievable! Joy was so helpful and accommodating and truly made our wedding vision come to life! Due to COVID, we had to switch our venue to The Chase (a month and a half before our wedding date!) and they were able to pull it off effortlessly! I did not have to worry about a thing and this venue could not have been more gorgeous!

Michele was amazing to work with. She went above and beyond and was so accommodating! The entire staff made the guests feel welcome and at home. The Zodiac Room was our dream room for our wedding and we are so happy we got married there.
Our wedding was during the peak of the Coronavirus. We had so many cancellations and Michele helped us throughout all of it. We can’t thank her and the Chase enough!

Where do I even start?! The Chase was the BEST venue for our reception and our guests raved about the views from the Starlight/Zodiac balconies and the amazing hospitality of the hotel's staff. Of course the best part was working with the lovely Michele who helped us for almost two years and made the whole process beyond easy! We absolutely loved working with Michele. She was so quick to respond to any and all of our questions regarding our reception and farewell brunch— the list goes on and on about how instrumental she was in making our reception festivities go off without a hitch. My heart burst when she sweetly delivered Michael and me our signature drinks during cocktail hour. I also want to give a shout out to Lauren who coordinates the room blocks. I emailed her about 2845 times during the wedding planning process checking in on our room block and she never once lost her patience with me! We are so thrilled that the special memories from our big day will be associated with the Chase and cannot thank all who were involved in making it the best day of our lives. The Chase really is the place to make all of your wedding day dreams come true!

We did not have our reception at The Chase but we booked our block of rooms there. (It is worth noting that my last review somehow got taken down which makes me suspect that they try to remove all negative reviews.) First, I would like to mention the good aspects. The Chase is an absolutely gorgeous, historic hotel with wonderful amenities and is conveniently located. The "waitstaff" (i.e. the waiters, people who work, bellhops) were phenomenal. They bent over backwards to accommodate us, were very knowledgeable about the hotel, and were extremely polite.
The terrible aspects: the front desk workers and the sales department. It took us weeks to get a room block contract because no one in the sales department would answer our phone calls or emails. (We were originally considering The Chase as a reception venue but the poor response time turned us off.) That pattern continued whenever we had questions or wanted to make a change. Often, when we were able to get a response, the information was incorrect. The front desk workers were not only largely incompetent, they were down right rude. I could list endless things they did wrong but I will stick to some of the worst.
1. My veil was delivered to the hotel the night before the wedding. My mom called the front desk to get it and was told they didn't have it. Fortunately, I had an email from the vendor specifically stating she left the veil with the front desk workers with my name on it. My mom called again and the worker's response was, "I just told you, we don't have it." My mom said she would wait on the line while they looked and, after about 30 seconds of looking, they found it. We requested it be sent up to the room - they didn't do it. My dad went to the front desk the morning of the wedding to get the veil and was again told they didn't have it. He relayed the previous night's exchange and told them to look for it. Again, after about 30 seconds of actually looking, they found it.
2. They failed to hand out our welcome bags to many of our guests.
3. When my husband arrived at the hotel, he was told he needed to put a card down to enter his room. This was incorrect because his mom had already checked him in and put her card down for the room, but he did not argue. He woke up the morning of our wedding (when we weren't checking out until the following day) to find that he had not only already been charged for his room, but for each of the rooms booked by his family members. Not a pleasant way to begin your wedding day. It took several days for The Chase to refund him.
It is a shame that the quality of the sales department and front desk is so poor when the rest of the staff is so great. Unfortunately, the bad outweighed the good. Working with a hotel to get a block of rooms should be very easy but The Chase made it the most stressful aspect of wedding planning. I would not recommend them to anyone.
We can't imagine a more perfect place to get married. An iconic, classic, accommodating hotel and venue with THE BEST coordinator, Michele Winfeld-Johnson! We decided to have our entire ceremony, cocktail hour and receptio in the Zodiac and Starlight rooms and it was spectacular. The entire evening flowed so well and our guests were gushing on how easy everything flowed for them as well. We continued the party in The Chase Club downstairs which was so accommodating all weekend.
Michele was the best to work with and her staff took care of every detail to make a picture perfect wedding. She was there every step of the way with us and I had zero stresses our entire wedding day. The staff and service was top notch and the food was unbelievably good. We loved every minute of our wedding weekend at The Chase and will be back to celebrate our anniversary for years to come. This venue will give you views you can't imagine and memories to last a lifetime. I am so happy we chose to use The Chase for our perfect day!

The hotel itself is beautiful vintage, back in the day when small details mattered, and the architectural details around the venue reflect its dignified glory. As far as venues for a Wedding/Wedding Reception; I can't think of anyplace more beautiful. My daughter and I looked at A LOT of places so we could price and venue compare. The Chase has the same price point as every other venue. Most outside venues have you select from a catering company, usually with high school or college kids serving the food; The Chase has Executive Chefs on staff and at your event. That means they can adjust and take care of every dietary need your guests will have without missing a beat. What The Chase has that no other venue has is ambiance. All of our guests in the Zodiac/Starlight Room could not believe how beautiful and large the outdoor patios were. With views of the St. Louis Arch and Forest Park on either side, from the 11th floor, it was stunning, from the daylight view, to the starlit night.
The wait staff is run like a fine tuned machine. I saw the meeting the Head Waiter had with everyone working our event, detailing every chair, and dietary need, per table, along with timelines to follow. It was quite impressive!
When you make the right choice to have your event at The Chase, you get the pleasure of working with Michele, the Events Coordinator. Michele calmly guided me through every detail and was present at the reception to make sure everything ran smoothly. She had all gifts transferred to our room before the reception ended to ensure their safety, delivered the champagne flutes and the flowers we wanted to our room as well. She is priceless.
When you are spending the exact same amount of money from one venue to the next, you need to keep in mind that The Chase needs no extra lights, or decorations, to make it beautiful. So that saves you money in the long run. Having several of your guests at the same location as the Reception gives you the peace of mind that they made it to bed safely, without having to chance driving. Peace of mind!

Magical is the word that comes to mind! The Chase Park Plaza, and in particular, Michele's attention to detail and personal interaction was unsurpassed. The setting was stunning! We had three events (welcome party, reception, brunch) and our room block at the Chase and they were beyond amazing! The staff is very professional, no detail was overlooked and we continue to get compliments on how wonderful our wedding was. The wait staff were attentive and very kind. The food was incredible (can't get over the stuffed mushroom appetizer!). Our room blocks went off without a hitch, I loved that our welcome boxes came up as a flag in their check in system so all of our guests got them as intended. I have only great things to say about our experience!
We used The Chase as our wedding weekend hotel room block and it was perfect! Lauren was so helpful in answering all of our questions and making sure we had enough rooms for my guests. The Chase is simply stunning and my husband and I had a great time with our friends and family here. I highly recommend Lauren and The Chase for any wedding needs!
My husband and I were married in the Zodiac Room followed by cocktail hour on the outdoor terrace with the reception culminating in the Starlight Room. Every part of our experience was perfect. The venue is beautiful with rich, old architecture perfect for photography, polite and generous staff always nearby to lend a helping hand, and event staff (including wedding event manager Michele Weinfeld-Johnson) that are beyond professional and ensure everything is coordinated and executed to perfection. The venue itself, in addition to the banquet/event spaces, is clean with elegant decor. The waitstaff during our event went above and beyond to accommodate special dietary requests and make all of our guests happy. We stayed in the most beautiful suite on our wedding night and could not be happier with the quality of the room from the champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, to the staff that gathered our belongings and packed them into the car the following morning. This was a perfect experience and if given the opportunity, I wouldn't change a single thing about our day and experience at The Chase Park Plaza.

The Chase was an incredible venue for our wedding reception! The Starlight and Zodiac rooms on the 11th floor were beautiful and perfect for our night. Easy flow from cocktail party to dinner and dancing. Bars convenient, accessible and not in the way or crowded. The wedding coordinator was amazing to work with, flexible and so nice---she was fun with great ideas and advice!! Wait and bar staff was respectful and prompt with all courses, wine, etc! Food was incredibly delicious, generous portions. The autistics were great for our band and dance floor is huge!! And the terraces were perfect, it was the most magical night. Highly highly recommend.

We had our wedding reception at the Chase Park Plaza in the Zodiac and Starlight rooms. From the beginning of our planning stages, Michele worked with us to create our dream wedding reception. Aside from the gorgeous terrace views and glass walls, Michele is without a doubt the best part of booking at the Chase for a wedding. She made us feel as though we were her only client, which we know to be the farthest from the truth. Despite planning for other events all year long, Michele was consistently prompt and helpful in answering all of our questions while also helping us to plan a customized menu that fit our wishes. She helped my mother-in-law plan a day-after brunch in the Empire Room, which was the perfect, intimate event for our family and friends the day after our wedding. She arranged for a special bridal lunch of sandwiches, cookies and champagne to be delivered while all the girls were getting ready in the bridal suite. We also had a "Taste of Saint Louis" late night snack station, which all of our guests were singing praises and drooling over all night long!
We had many out of town guests as well as out of town vendors and the reservations manager, Lauren, was also extremely helpful in our planning process. She made sure the front desk staff handed out our welcome boxes upon check-in and that our guests knew where the shuttles were picking up for our wedding ceremony.
I could not have asked for a better venue and staff to work with at the Chase for our wedding. Our reception was better than we could have ever imagined! If you are considering the Chase for your wedding, look no further! This is the best venue you can have in Saint Louis!!

We did not have our wedding at the Chase but at the Boo Cat Club down the street. All of our guest stayed at the Chase and it was a dream place. From Lauren in group reservations, Clara in housekeeping, Josh at the front desk and Rod the bell hop it was amazing service in every direction. We loved hosting our entire wedding weekend at The Chase. Our guests stayed at the hotel, and our wedding ceremony and reception were in the Zodiac and Starlight Rooms. Everyone was so helpful to make sure our guests had a great weekend. The rooms are beautiful, as is the rest of the hotel (especially the pool!)
Getting married in the Zodiac Room was a dream come true. The light through the floor-to-ceiling windows warmed the room, making the occasion feel even more joyful. We did our wedding in the round so everyone could enjoy the views over Forest Park and the Central West End. I loved feeling everyone around us, as well as looking out over the city. The Starlight Roof was fantastic for the reception. There was plenty of space for our 170 guests to dine and dance. The patios are a nice touch as well.
Michele was so helpful in planning our day. She answered all of our questions quickly and gave us educated opinions when we needed more information. She was a great point person on the day of the event, making sure we were running on time and that everyone was where they needed to be.
We heard rave reviews about the appetizers, dinner and desserts. We didn't get to eat, but the catering team packed up our meals and sent them to our room for after the wedding, which was a really nice touch. Once we got to eat it, it was delicious!
Everyone around the building was so friendly. Added bonus: since The Chase is an historic St. Louis property, it was a beautiful place for photos. There are many lovely nooks for special pictures.
We're so glad we had our wedding at The Chase, and we've heard wonderful things from our friends and family as well about their time spent there.
We had our ceremony and reception at the Khorassan Ballroom and it was absolutely beautiful. From the decor to the lights...it was perfect. The staff was all friendly and the food/drinks were the best. We worked with Rose from the Chase and she was so accommodating, responsive and helpful. She always got back to us very promptly and did anything she could to help us out. If we could do it all over again, we would! We HIGHLY recommend the Chase for a wedding venue!

My daughter and son-in-law selected the Chase Park Plaza for their wedding and reception. Michele Weinfeld-Johnson, the wedding sales manager, attended to every detail and accommodated our every wish to make it a very special day. Our out of town guests enjoyed their stay in the CPP rooms, as well as the ambience and lively CWE scene. The wedding in the Embassy Room, the cocktails and reception in the Starlight and Zodiac room were perfect settings. The food and wait-staff were exceptional. There were several packages to choose among, just know that service charges and taxes are added. We had a lovely wedding weekend, we give the Chase Park Plaza and Michele our highest recommendations.
To say our wedding was perfect would be an understatement. The individuals we worked with at the Chase Park Plaza went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. Our guests arrived Thursday evening and spent the whole weekend at the Chase Park Plaza. We were told multiple times following the wedding it was the best reception they had been to and the food was amazing. Everyone had a wonderful time hanging in Cafe Eau, around the pool, and they even loved their guest rooms. Lauren P was such an amazing help with the room block and did everything she could to ensure all of our guests were comfortable. Rose P was awesome every step of the way while we were planning our big day! From our initial meeting to our final walk through, she made sure everything was just how I had envisioned. Everything went off without a hitch and it's all thanks to the wonderful and fabulous staff at the Chase Park Plaza. All of our guests want to return for our 1 year anniversary due to the great time they had at the hotel. We have had such a wonderful experience it will be hard to keep us away and I know we will be coming here for years to come!
Our reception was in the starlight/zodiac rooms and our guests also spent the night at the Chase. From the second we arrived, we were greeted with friendliness especially from Larry who delivered our bags. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and our guests have said how it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Rose, our coordinator, made everything so easy and we couldn't have asked for a better time. The blocks of romms were very easy to reserve and none of our guests had any trouble checking in and getting into their rooms. From the views to the food, everything was perfect. If you want to have a fun wedding in a beautiful location, I think the Chase is by far the best in St. Louis.
While there were several things that we were less than pleased with considering the amount of money we spent to have our wedding at the Chase, we could not have been happier with Michele. She was absolutely the most detail-oriented, friendly, efficient person we came into contact with at the Chase. She was professional, easy to work with, and accommodating. The pastry chef was also very accommodating and was eager to help us make our vision come to life. Several of our room blocks were messed up, the gift bags did not get handed out, and our early check-in that was promised did not happen therefore the plans for the rehearsal dinner had to be completely reworked. The day to day hotel staff, especially those at the front desk, were less than helpful in helping us work out these issues. Thanks to Michele for helping everything get pulled together.
I booked my hotel room blocks through The Chase and Lauren P in the sales dept was so helpful and informative. They did everything on my wish list and more, I would recommend to anyone!
The Chase was very great to work with prior to the wedding weekend. They were very organized and helpful with the rooms for the wedding. However, once the weekend begun they were completely disorganized. Rooms weren't ready on time or the room reservations weren't correct. The biggest problem was that they did a horrible job handling the guest welcome bags. We dropped off 1 guest bag for each room plus 5-10 extras. On Friday night I asked them how many bags they had left for the 20 guests checking in on Saturday and they said they only had a 2 bags. They were giving out two bags per room which was not what we instructed them to do. We rushed around Saturday morning to get them more bags to have enough for the guests. Then on Sunday checked to see if all the bags were handed out and they had 15 extra bags. Which meant they did not give out the guest bags to the hotel guests on Saturday. It was a giant mess and unfortunate for all the hard work and effort I put into the welcome bags for our guests.
Horrible experience for my guests who stayed at the hotel. While the structure of this hotel is beautiful and the grounds are well kept, the service did not live up to the expectation. Our specifically blocked together rooms were all moved and smaller than originally reserved. Many glitches with reservations and the front desk was less than helpful and sometimes rude. Very embarrassing to hear from guests that the hotel that you had recommended to them had such horrible service.
We had a wonderful wedding at the Chase Park Plaza. It was the only venue we even considered because we know their great reputation for top notch service and food. The Chase provides you with a wedding planner who guides you through the entire planning process and is there on the day of the wedding to coordinate with other vendors. Our planner, Kathy Best, lived up to her name. Everything went smoothly thanks to her expertise and hard work.
Our reception was held at the Starlight Room and was such a blast! We enjoyed working with Joy throughout the venue selection, choosing menu, final details, etc. She was very efficient and organized and helped a lot with the general flow of the evening. Guests loved the view, food, and rooms at the Chase. Beautiful reception that the bride, groom, and families were easily able to enjoy as the details were entrusted to the professionals! Great and friendly service by everyone at the reception, too!
I can not think of enough good things to say about the Chase Park Plaza, specifically my wedding coordinator Beth Garrison. She definitely knew her stuff. And was so quick at responding to my questions. She never made me feel like a pesky bride. Just was open and willing to work with me, my ideas, and my budget. The venue was absolutely beautiful. It is probably one of the more expensive venues in St. Louis but I honestly felt like the service I received from Beth was worth every penny.
I always thought the Chase was beautiful and was so excited to book it the night before my wedding as well as my wedding night. I booked a suite to have all my bridesmaids join me the morning of the wedding to get ready. I went and looked at a suite to make sure it was big enough 11 months before my wedding. It was perfect! The night before my wedding I checked in with my sisters and walked into a suite that was not even comparable in size to what they showed me I would be booking. It also did not have a mini bar like they said was in there. It was late and I was tired and wanted to relax so I let it go and got settled in. I had absolutely no idea they have live BLARING music in their bar downstairs till 1/1:30 in the morning. My suite was directly above it. Words cannot describe how livid I was. I needed to be asleep by 11 pm for my wedding the next day! They knew I was booking a suite for a wedding party and why I was staying there. Why they would put me in that room is beyond me. When I kept calling downstairs they were dismissive to me and rude. I ended up having to go to my mom's suite with my 2 other sisters and squeezing into her bed. Which is really not what I wanted to do the night before my wedding, have a restless and crammed night's sleep. My suite was completely unused that night. A complete waste of money. And after the wedding when my husband and I were completely exhausted, we had to deal with the blaring music till they were done when all we wanted to do was go to sleep because we had to be up at 4:30 am to catch a flight to our honeymoon. I will never go back, they thoroughly ticked off the bride!
The Chase Park Plaza went above and beyond to make our daughter's wedding a dream come true. Joy was fabulous from the planning stages over a year ago and was instrumental in making sure the ceremony and reception flowed seamlessly! The food was fantastic and we had so many compliments from our guests about the entire venue. I had heard from so many friends beforehand say how much stress a wedding causes with the planning, but after meeting Joy and the entire staff at The Chase, we knew we were in good hands and knew we had picked the right venue. Joy was there the entire day of the wedding, making sure everything went according to plan! Pretty sure our youngest daughter will choose the same venue in the future. We were thrilled with The Chase and would highly recommend them!
The Chase Park Plaza is one of the best wedding venues in St. Louis. We had our brunch reception in the Zodiac/Starlight Room. The views were absolutely gorgeous and the food was easily the most delicious wedding food I have ever eaten. It is not cheap, but you won't be disappointed.
I had my wedding in the Starlight Room at the Chase in September and it couldn't have turned out more perfectly. Beth Garrison made the entire planning process a breeze, catering to every need and making sure the day turned out exactly as we wanted. Despite having multiple events each week, she made me feel like I was the only wedding she was planning, and she remembered every detail we talked about throughout the entire process -- something the wedding coordinator I hired couldn't even do, and she didn't have nearly as many events going on. The space is beautiful and the service is fantastic -- if you are looking for an elegant venue with a top notch event planner who will make your life incredibly easy, I recommend the Chase Park Plaza.

We booked the Starlight and Zodiac rooms as that venue offers a special vibe or personality that resonated with our daughter. The twilight views as guests arrived, complete with hot air balloons from Forest Park, were awesome.
Our deepest appreciation to Banquet Captain, Luis Barron. Mr. Barron's attention to detail assured our guests a delicious 4 course meal that many said was, "the best wedding fare" they had EVER had! Appetizers, salad, sorbet, signature chocolates and a steak and lobster entree'--what's not to LOVE! Special dinners were prepared for two of our guests with dietary restrictions that were expertly carried out. We so thank you for that consideration.
The Chef tastings were well organized and very enjoyable for our family. Tasting a variety of icings and cakes is a difficult job, but Amanda's skill in creating a dream "Best Day Ever" cake was evidenced by all.
Hosting a Farewell Brunch was the ultimate for our wedding weekend festivities. Maurice graciously afforded a beautiful spread in the elegant Empire Room which was filled with laughter and shared stories.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Chase Park Plaza and it couldn’t have been any better of an experience! Everything was perfect. Wedding planning can be so stressful, but we had such an easy experience thanks to the staff at The Chase. Beth Garrison, our Wedding Specialist, was so fun to work with. She was honest, cheerful, enthusiastic, and extremely helpful. We loved working with her! The service and food were unbelievable – our guests raved about it to us for months. The most common comment we heard was, “That was the best wedding meal I’ve ever had!”, which was so great to hear. We have zero complaints about the entire process. Service was above and beyond. If you’re considering having your wedding at The Chase, DO IT!
I got a suite at the Chase Park Plaza for the night of my wedding. It was beautiful, spacious and clean. There was plenty of room to open presents and eat leftover dessert. Everything was just wonderful.
We got married at the Chase in April 2014 in the Khorassan Ballroom, and I can say with 100% confidence that this is a fabulous place to host a wedding or other large event! From the rooms to the food to the service, every detail at the Chase was truly world class.
The catering manager, Beth Garrison, is a dream to work with. She is professional, capable, efficient and friendly. We had booked our wedding at the Chase with the prior manager, and she picked up our file seamlessly and without hesitation. Perhaps most importantly, we had a ball working with her!
Because our wedding was largely out-of-town guests, we had 80 rooms blocked at the Chase for our wedding weekend. Every single guest was thrilled with their accommodations--from the rooms to the service. Larry, who helped us and many of our guests checking in and out was a great guy, mentioned by several of our guests as being superbly friendly and helpful! The front desk staff handled our check-ins and welcome bags with care, and even took the time to add a last minute item in for me, when I asked if I could do it myself.
Our wedding was large--300 people--and the Chase handled it as if it were a small intimate dinner party. Every single meal came out piping hot and perfectly cooked. Our banquet captain, Luis, and his staff should be applauded. The food was flawless, and nearly all of our guests commented on it. We are still getting compliments on the meal more than a month later! Thank you to the Chase and all the staff for making our wedding a truly memorable and perfect weekend for us and for our guests!!
The Chase made my wedding and reception perfection. Beth Garrison guided me through the process and essentially made it stress free. The ceremony was in the Empire room, which was gorgeous, and my reception was in the zodiac Room. All my guests were blown away by the entire event. I couldn't have asked for a better night!!!
We had our reception in the Starlight and Zodiac Rooms. The reception was great - the food was excellent and the wait staff were amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about our experience during the reception.
However, our experience working with the catering department, room block, and front desk left a lot to be desired.
CATERING DEPARTMENT: Our contact in the catering department was flighty (and that's a kind assessment). She would take days (5+ business days) to get back to us and that was after I'd send several emails and leave multiple voicemails. Our BEO and invoice were incorrect and items were charged to our credit card incorrectly and without approval. It took far too long for our concerns to be addressed. Our wedding planner had similar issues receiving communication from the catering department.
ROOM BLOCK: If you're having guests stay at the hotel, know that no one can make an online reservation or call outside the hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday. This was very frustrating for our guests.
FRONT DESK: The front desk put several of our guests in the incorrect rooms so the guests had to be moved. There was an incident with a bellman that was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. The incident was so unsettling that I requested that the front desk supervisor contact me. For three weeks after the wedding, the front desk supervisor refused to return my calls or contact me (and ignored the requests our our catering contact) until I contacted the general manager.
If you're considering the Chase, I'd be prepared to deal with a lot of incompetence from the mid-level management.
We held our reception in the Khorassan room in the Chase Park Plaza. It was absolutely beautiful and we received so many compliments. The service was amazing during the night as well. Beth Garrison, the director of catering, was so helpful and she did such a great job with everything. I was worried about the room being too small for the size of our wedding but they really made it look great. I could not have asked for a better venue for our reception.
Our guests also stayed at the Chase and we're provided a great discounted rate and the service was wonderful. My husband and I also received a honeymoon suite for the night of our wedding with rose petals and champagne.
I highly recommend the Chase Park Plaza as a reception venue!
Our wedding reception was held in the Starlight and Zodiac rooms at the Chase Park Plaza. And it was perfect! The room looked goregous. John Paulsen our wedding coordinator at the Chase went above and beyond in granting all my special requests. The room looked stunning. The food was AMAZING. People were instagramming photos of the food and raving about how it was delicious. There were a few mix ups with the hotel room blocks that the front desk was responsible for, but as soon as John got involved he fixed it and made it right, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend the Chase Park Plaza. The location is amazing, the service is amazing and it was simply magical. The Starlight and Zodiac rooms are great too because you have access to two huge balconies. Perfection!
Megan Kniffen and her staff at the Chase met and exceeded every expectation and hope we had for Sarah and Blake's wedding. The view, the food .. just the traditional elegance of the Chase was amazing.

The Starlight Ballroom at The Chase Park Plaza is beyond beautiful. It is located on the top floor of this historic hotel. The ceiling is lined with blue lights and the balcony has a fantasic view of Forest Park and Downtown. The food was to die for and the cake was AMAZING!
