The most beautiful day! They made it a dream, and was so tasty! We had the petite brunch package, and our guests (& our wallets) loved it so much! Highly recommend letting them help your dream wedding cone to life!
My review is a real email I sent to someone who asked about The Sagamore Inn for her family member below.
I HIGHLY recommend them! Nicole, the coordinator there is absolutely amazing! She helped us every step of the way! A week before our wedding I asked her about our centerpieces and come to find out they don’t allow candles with flames and glitter and she let me go over there while they were setting up for another party and let me use a table to play around with my centerpieces and she did everything she could to help me out. The day of, she, our DJ, and our photographer, all worked together to make sure we knew what we were doing and what was going to happen next. She asked us before our big day what kind of guidance we wanted and we said we need help every step of the way and she went above and beyond.
They were the most affordable venue we could find (the only place we actually went to and saw in person and we fell in love immediately). My sister Kayla got married in Dennis at the Borsari Gallery and she only had one 5-minute phone call with their coordinator. She saw how much Nicole had helped us out (I saw her quite a few times before our big day) and my sister even came with me once and she told me that she wished she and her coordinator worked together like Nicole and I did. I seriously could go on and on about them, our day could not have gone better 😃 The food is also fantastic, we did the BBQ buffet and have no regrets, we also did an open bar (a lot cheaper than paying per head for the alcohol) you can ask for a consumption bar if that’s something you were looking for.
Nicole tells you from day one that if there is something you want they will do everything they can to make it work (even though they don’t allow glitter she was going to let me use my original idea of the centerpieces without the flames of course to make them work but I was able to find a way around my idea and it ended up being perfect). The day of (it was rainy) and a gust of wind came and shattered the frame our seating chart was in and she measured it to go out and run around and find a frame for us, even though it wasn’t anyone’s fault!
We also had our reception there the night before and they allowed us to use the tent and we practiced our first dance with our wedding party, since they were also joining us in our dance. It was super helpful to be able to use that space. They have a beautiful bridal suite which was amazing, and they have a breakfast platter which is absolutely delicious and they gave us a complimentary wine that I told her I really liked when we went there for our food tasting which was so sweet that she even remembered I liked that ❤ Since you pay for the bridal suite I highly recommend finding a hair stylist and a makeup artist who is willing to travel to you. The space is wonderful and it was great to be there all day, Nicole even let us start setting up earlier than they typically do. Again, I can seriously go on and on LOL!
If you are thinking of having your wedding or event at The Sagamore, do it. We had our wedding at The Sagamore on October 13,2024. The venue and staff are amazing, especially our coordinator, Beth Ridge. Beth was always to responsive to my many, many questions and made herself available whenever I needed her. The Sagamore really thrives to make sure your special day is perfect. All the guests were raving about the food, if I had to suggest a meal, do the beef tenderloin, I heard about how great it was all night long, and people are still complimenting it. When looking for your perfect venue, you want to book with a venue that wants to make sure your day is perfect with no stress, from them at least, then The Sagamore is the venue for you!
Any questions?
My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding at the Canalside Pavilion in September 2023, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the initial planning stages, Beth and the entire Canalside team were remarkable, ensuring that every detail closely aligned with our vision. Beth maintained strong communication with us throughout the planning process, promptly addressing any lingering questions we had.
Our priority was to find a venue that not only reflected our style as a couple but also provided a positive experience for our guests, ensuring that our wedding felt like an authentic reflection of who we are. Specifically seeking a venue friendly to our budget, offering everything we needed on-site—tables, chairs, linens, and a bar—Canalside stood out as the best value among the venues we toured.
Choosing Canalside for both the ceremony and reception was one of our easiest and best decisions! It allowed our guests to seamlessly transition from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception without any interruptions, enabling them to be fully immersed in every moment with us. We were especially pleased to find that every part of the grounds was easily accessible to our loved ones, including those with mobility challenges.
The tent served as a stunning backdrop that perfectly complemented the theme of our wedding, and the grounds were impeccably maintained. As we look back at our photos from the day, we can't help but smile as everything came together so beautifully. The tent itself was a showstopper, requiring minimal decoration, and the concrete floors were a huge plus (our guests in heels were thankful)! I had envisioned a Sailcloth tent for our reception, but many others felt like an overwhelming blank slate. Choosing Canalside allowed us to opt for simple decorations that allowed the natural beauty of the grounds to shine through, saving us time and parts of our budget.
Undoubtedly, the highlight of the evening was the food. Six months later, and we continue to receive compliments from our guests about the exceptional quality and taste. If you're contemplating menu options, don't hesitate to choose the beef—it's phenomenal and probably one of the best meals my husband and I ever had!
Overall, our wedding day at Canalside Pavilion was nothing short of magical and exceeded all expectations. Wedding planning can be stressful, but seeing the joy on our guests' faces made it all worth it in the end. Beth and the team went above and beyond to ensure that everything was flawless, allowing us to cherish every moment with our loved ones. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding day!
The difference is the people. They are lovely, hard working, and committed to providing an absolutely stellar experience. We enjoyed every minute.
Always greeted warmly, wonderful menu, like home-made, generous drinks & fair prices. Cozy place.
This venue was beautiful the staff was amazing. It rained so hard the day we got married, but they made it memorable. The food was great, I highly recommend the Sagamore Inn especially Rhonda she made sure it was a wonderful day.
Cannot say high enough praises! From Sue to Beth the coordinator, every single person was a pleasure to work with! It is an incredibly beautiful location, and with the additional of the outdoor bar and bridal suite the perfect place to get married. They made our day the absolute greatest! Would highly recommend!
My husband and I were married on June 17th at the Sagamore Inn and it was beyond perfect! Although we didn’t luck out with the weather, we sure did luck out with the amazing wedding venue and staff that the Sagamore Inn has to offer. Our ceremony and reception took place under the dreamy Canalside Pavilion tent. The tent was dazzled with lights and the open back drop to the pond fountain was stunning. The staff and restaurant owners truly went above and beyond to ensure our night was perfect. Beth, the restaurant wedding coordinator, was incredible. Beth worked with us every step of the way to ensure our wedding vision came true. She is attentive to detail, creative, and truly experienced in wedding planning. Overall, the Sagamore Inn/Canalside Pavilion is the most perfect place to have a wedding ceremony and reception. The food was excellent, the outdoor bar is a party pleaser, the staff are kind and attentive, and the venue is gorgeous rain or shine!
Overall experience:
We can’t say enough good things about our experience at the Sagamore Inn. We got married in May of 2023 and it rained off and on the whole day, by dinner time it was down-pouring. Despite the weather, and even because of the weather it was the most amazing wedding we ever could have imagined! Due to the entire ceremony and reception taking place outside/in the tent rain was something we definitely worried about, but the whole staff at Sagamore inn was proactive and set up the ceremony inside the tent and we were still able to have the beautiful backdrop of the coy pond & garden. They also helped the DJ keep their equipment dry and everything running smoothly.
The Food:
The food was absolutely incredible. We had the slow roasted beef tenderloin and the pistachio encrusted salmon. The amount of guests who texted us the next day saying it was the best beef they’ve ever had, made us feel so great. People raved about the lemon sauce with the salmon as well. Truly we’ve never had better food at a wedding. The chef also made a vegan pasta option for vegan/vegetarian guests which was also adored.
Event planners:
Our event planners Beth and Jenna were so kind, bubbly and organized. Them being a family-owned business it definitely felt like they genuinely cared about making this the best day for us and they paid attention to all the small details so we didn’t have to worry about them. They even kept our cake in their fridge overnight because we forgot it at the end of the reception and we were able to pick it up the next morning.
The location:
The location is also perfect for guests. All our guests who chose to stay the whole weekend or just the wedding night stayed at the Sandwich Lodge which is less than 5 min up the road. We had transportation transport our guests to and from the wedding. The after party was at the Local which was right next to the Sandwich Lodge so people could walk back to their rooms.
The one thing we wish was different was the dress rehearsal. Since there was a wedding Friday night we didn’t get to do a full “dress rehearsal” with our whole wedding party. Our wedding party was small so it made it easy to figure out, but we definitely would have liked to have had a proper dress rehearsal. Even without it though, Jenna met with us Friday morning to give us a rundown of what to expect and organize final touches.
We would highly recommend getting married here. All the staff we worked with were so accommodating and genuine, and the location was perfect for families to gather and enjoy a wedding weekend down the cape. And seriously, best food ever!!!
The venue itself is beautiful! The tent is massive and the grounds are amazing. We really wanted to have our wedding here!
The main event planner, Quinn, had a family emergency and wasn't able to meet with us for our tour. She had another staff member, Laura, fill in for her. Laura was like talking to a wall. No enthusiasm, little to no knowledge of anything and it was awkward just standing there hoping she would talk or at least attempt to sell us on the venue.
Following the visit I checked in with Quinn to see how she was doing and to ask more about the venue- linen selections, etc. I never heard back. I messaged multiple times.
We would have loved to book with them, but the customer service was beyond disappointing.

The Sagamore Inn is an amazing wedding venue on Cape Cod! My husband and I had to change our entire wedding plans one month before our date due to COVID. We found the Sagamore Inn and fell in love instantly. It had everything we were looking for. We were able to have a beautiful ceremony right by the pond and then our guests enjoyed cocktail hour and their meals under a gorgeous tent. They were able to accommodate our entire wedding to make sure it was safe for our guests and that it followed COVID guidelines. Beth was amazing at staying in contact with us and answering our many many emails. Our guests have been RAVING about what an amazing venue and wedding it was. The service for drinks and food was exceptional. Everything ran so smooth! We just want to thank all of the staff at the Sagamore Inn for making our wedding day truly the best day ever!
I had my parents 25th wedding anniversary party here and it was the best that I could ever expect. We had a ranging number of guests coming and going but everything went perfect. It was under the tent and it was a beautiful day. But when it got colder at night, they had the solution right away and put up the sides. The food was a lovely buffet. I got compliments for weeks about it. We had a dance floor with a DJ. And we got to dance the night away. They had an option of an outside bar which was perfect so we didn’t have to walk inside. The staff was so helpful and friendly. I was very happy to host our event here and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great function spot!
