This venue is amazing! My husband and I wanted something unique while still having the ease of a structured venue. This place was the perfect mix of cool and classy! Our guests loved the accommodations and the staff was very friendly!
When it came to the actual planning and execution of the wedding, we were very pleased! They were thorough in documenting everything we requested and were very transparent about costs and timelines needed to keep the event on track. When there were a few bumps, they did everything they could to get the event back on track and none of our guests were any the wiser. The food was amazing and the space was beautiful! We couldn't be happier with our choice!

The Saguaro Palm Springs made our destination wedding weekend a literal dream. Their Events staff was beyond a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They offered an excellent site/food and beverage package which worked perfectly within our budget. The property itself was so fun, unique and beautiful. We had a ton of friends and family stay at the hotel throughout the entire wedding weekend, and everyone is still raving about how much fun they had... not only during the wedding, but throughout their stay. The vibe was just incredible. Laid back but still a little fancy. Absolutely perfect for a fun couple looking to have an unforgettable wedding experience. I couldn’t recommend them more highly, and we can't wait to come back to visit! Oh, and "The Saguaro Suite..." BOOK THAT ROOM! Wow, it was beautiful and great for photos!

I agree 100% with the review before mine - the venue itself was the perfect backdrop for our day and for the most part working with the team at the venue was smooth. We got married on 10/02/21 with our ceremony on the Agave Terrace and reception on the Jacinto Lawn. We had about 75 people and I felt like the fit was about right. The spaces we chose and the level of decor/layout wouldn't have really allowed for more.
There were a few months of difficult communication but a lot of the team had been furloughed during the pandemic so was just an unfortunate thing I don't blame them for. The only thing that really became a problem as a result was finding a cake - the wedding brochure says cakes are done in-house but there is no longer a pastry team. I didn't know this until about 2 months before the wedding when I asked about cake tasting as part of our final menu decisions. Like the other couple we were also promised a few things that weren't in writing so were rescinded later (a room for the bride and groom for example, and a few other things our coordinator was communicating) and we had an issue where the floor plan wasn't really to scale so the layout had to be redesigned the night before. We also had some surprise fees not previously disclosed, like a covid/health charge of 3%. I didn't know about it until the day before and as a bride just wanting to have a successful day with no conflict I just let it go.
Besides these logistic/cost issues the day really was amazing. The taco bar was delicious and a huge hit, and the bartender did great as well. The hotel is the perfect backdrop for our day and we really like it was the right spot for us even with all of the hiccups. I'd probably choose the Saguaro again, and still feel positively about it as our wedding venue/caterer.

The Saguaro was the perfect backdrop for our laid-back wedding and the vibrant colors made for easy destination wedding decorating. Overall, we were very happy that we chose this venue. We really enjoyed working with Alecia and the day-of staff. They were kind and attentive the entire day.
A word of caution: The venue itself is more concerned with their bottom line then with guest experience. We believe this comes from somewhere higher up the corporate ladder, rather than the forward facing staff. Between the reception and our room blocks, we nearly tripled the contract minimums we agreed to meet on each. However, the venue continued to be very rigid when it came to the possibility that another vendor might get additional money from us instead of it going to them. Additionally, make sure to get everything in writing, as they tend to have a lot of turnover (even pre-covid) and you will be asked for proof that you were promised something later down the line.
To be fair, the venue did make some concessions on a few items.
As it relates to the experience of guests staying at the hotel, we suggest looking at The Saguaro's Google reviews for a little insight.

I came to Saguaro in February for my wedding.
I was living on the east coast at the time, found Saguaro online, and booked it sight-unseen.
Due to our budget, we had no wedding planner and therefore relied on their expert team *heavily* for so much detailed information. We must've sent like hundreds of emails back and forth, they were always quick to respond and never once made it seem like I was a pain.
Alecia was super flexible with our wedding block, all of our guests had a fabulous time enjoying the hotel over the weekend.
The weather was less than ideal, but beyond anyone's control. The entire ceremony had to be moved indoors just an hour before it was set to begin! Despite the chaos, I didn't have to do a thing and everything was all set and ready for me to walk down the aisle and the guests were none the wiser.
Even though they aren't technically an all-inclusive wedding service, it pretty much felt like they were. Due to the time difference it was difficult for me to hunt for vendors on my own; I told them my budget and they contacted the people they work with most and it went off without a hitch!
Shoutout to Kayla, Neysa, Stephany, Alecia, and major shoutout to Jessica for going above and beyond to help make our day a success!

The entire staff at The Saguaro were SPOT. ON. From the events team who answered all of our questions patiently, to the bartenders and staff onsite at the event, we could not have asked for a better venue to host our special day. Everything went off without a hitch and we would highly recommend this venue to any couple who is looking to host a beautiful, classy, and FUN affair.

The Saguaro was amazing! We had our reception there- the space was absolutely perfect, and the food was amazing! Our guests are still talking about how good the tacos were. We worked with Jessica during the planning process, and she was so helpful and so sweet! She answered all of my questions and helped me feel totally at ease.

From the get go this was my dream wedding venue and I was glad we were able to make it happen here. My husband and I were able to create our perfect wedding with the perfect menu. The food received rave reviews from our guest, they were begging for more of it. During the process we would occasionally have issues receiving and email back but once we got ahold of someone they were super helpful. Value wise I consider it exceptional, we were able to get everything we needed without using outside venders and it came out just as we expected budget and vision wise.

We used The Saguaro for our ceremony and reception venue. They do all the food and beverage catering as well. We also had 99% of our guests stay at The Saguaro for the entire wedding weekend. Overall, excellent experience working with the hotel staff, especially the Event & Catering Director Tarise. She worked incredibly hard on our behalf to make sure our budget was met, and that our vision for the wedding day was executed. Her and the team really went out of their way to accommodate us. And the food, well it was excellent! Guests were coming up to me to tell me how delicious the food was. Does that ever happen at a wedding?! I guess it does when you have an Iron chef restaurant like The Saguaro does!
All of our guests loved staying at this hotel for the festive weekend. And we had a lot of guests, almost 165! Its colors and vibe along withe the pool are perfect for a fun filled, festive wedding. The kids loved it as much as the adults. And compared to similar places around town (i.e, Ace Hotel), The Saguaro has great pricing and are willing to be flexible in order to accommodate various budgets.
Only thing to consider is that they are so flexible and willing to accomodate because they do not really have standard, template-like wedding setups. Both from a design perspective and from a catering perspective, it's very DIY and a la carte. That was perfect for us, because we and our friends participated a great deal in decor and entertainment. And they were extremely willing to allow us to provide direction on how we wanted things to look and feel, and also gave us a lot of freedom with the menu. If you're looking for someone to pick out everything for you, tell you exactly how the seating will go, and give you 3 menu options to choose from, then this is not your place. But if you have the enthusiasm and time, or a wedding planner, to think about the details, then this place is such a great venue for both a ceremony and reception!

The Saguaro hotel is the best venue to host your wedding. The exterior color scheme, landscape and mountains provided an amazing backdrop for the ceremony. Everything from the ceremony setup to the amazing Basque food was excellent. Tarise, Pip and Daniel were all extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs and requests. We also used My Little Flower Shop for flowers and Gregory was extremely helpful and knew exactly what we wanted. We would definitely recommend this venue for parties and ceremonies!

Trying to my make wedding planning as smooth as possible, I was lucky to find The Saguaro, Palm Springs. The Saguaro stood out above all the other nearby venues for excellent customer service. Having worked in the industry, I understand the amount of time and energy it takes to make an event flawless. From start to finish, The Saguaro was amazing.
There is a beautiful outdoor event space that accommodated our 170 guests. Conveniently, almost everyone stayed at the Saguaro Hotel giving many opportunities to run into guests at the pool, El Jefe bar or as they arrived to start the party. We had a welcome party the night before at El Jefe with pitchers of margaritas and beer, chips, salsa and guacamole. The bridal suite was available for myself and the bridesmaids to get ready together. Water and Cava provided! The ceremony was one mile down the road at Moorten's Botanical Garden. At the reception, Moonsville Collective played bluegrass music. We had 10 belly bar tables set up and two communal tables along the perimeter. Iron Chef Jose Garces Group eloquently prepared heavy passed apps including Oaxacan Chicken Mole Tostada, Grilled Baby Lamb Chops, Mini Lobster Po'Boy and more. In addition we had a stationary table with Cheese & Charcuterie and Crudites & Fruit. They made the cake as well and there were two bars! We danced until 10pm then continued the party at El Jefe. The next day we had a pool party with an area reserved and included tacos for our guests. We danced all day in the sun to the resident DJ's mixes.
Daniel Gibby, the Senior Sales Manager, worked with us to create a block of rooms with our own web address for convenient booking.
Living in San Diego, Tarise, the Senior Catering Manager was extremely reliable, answering all our questions through emails and in-person. She was also helpful providing vendor recommendations and advise to complement our vision. Her chill, laid back personality helped calm the nerves of this bridezilla :) Along with Pip, the Catering Coordinator, Tarise made a mock set-up of the event and took pictures so we could have an idea of how it would all lay out.
Dan Burgess, the Hotel General Manager was extremely hospitable to us and our guests. While hanging out at the pool the day before the wedding, Dan came over and introduced himself to my grandparents. They were so impressed! He added so many little details to our special day that were so thoughtful.
In addition, the Saguaro provided beautiful chandelier lighting at the reception. They included two free upgraded suites and the newly wed suite was free the night of our wedding. Additional venders we used include My Little Flower Shop for flowers, Nicole Lorenzana for hair and Cardiff Limo for transportation.
The entire experience was perfect.

My wedding at the Saguaro Palm Springs was absolutely perfect, unique, and without a single hitch, due to the excellent service of the Saguaro Palm Springs. The hotel is an absolutely stunning location for an outdoor ceremony/reception and the staff bend over backwards to ensure you have an unforgettable day. My photos from the event are gorgeous and unlike any I have ever seen, thanks to the funky and brilliantly designed look of the hotel. We went with the onsite catering, which I would highly recommend to anyone considering this venue. The food was heavenly. Nearly all of the guests told us it was not only the best food they've ever had at a wedding, but some of the best food they've *ever* had. All of the guests who stayed in the hotel were very happy with their stay and said the beds were very comfortable (important after a long day of celebrating!). Tarise and Pip were so kind and accessible and made sure we were getting everything we wanted, and saw it through to the very end. I am certain the Saguaro will soon be a very popular place for weddings, and deservedly so.

If you're looking for a unique, hip, fun, colorful wedding that not only will look amazing in your pictures and give you memories to last a lifetime, but that your guests will talk about for years to come this is absolutely the place for you. We had our wedding there just this past weekend (July 26th) and everything was absolutely perfect. We have loved the retro modern vibe of The Saguaro ever since we first spent a weekend there over a year ago. We knew it had to be the spot for our wedding. FIrst off, no matter where you go in this hotel you'll find beautiful backdrops for either your pictures or your ceremony. The vibrant color palette is perfect for a bride who loves color. I literally didn't have to decorate anything because The Saguaro comes ready made and perfect. And yet it's simplicity leaves room for personal touches.
The service was beyond compare. I felt like every staff member was there at my beck and call. The attentiveness made me feel at ease, like everything would be taken care of. Which brings me to The Saguaro's events coordinator Philip Haxby-Thompson, or as everyone calls him "Pip". We first met with him about a month before the wedding and he walked us through the entire venue asking all sorts of questions about what we wanted in order to make sure there was no detail left unattended. We were instantly put as ease and we knew our wedding was going to go perfectly. The day of, Pip was there notebook in hand ready to assist and make sure everything was taken care of. Any anxiety I had felt on our way out dissipated when he began taking all of our wedding paraphernalia and sending it off in multiple directions, ensuring they would end up where they belonged the following day. During the reception Pip was buzzing around the whole place asking us how things were going and making sure everything continued to run smoothly. To quote my new husband "Pip is the best wedding coordinator person in the whole world!"
Lastly, the guests could not stop gushing about how much they enjoyed everything. The ceremony itself was simple, and our reception was a pool party. The staff sectioned off the far end of the pool area and so all my guests had pool lounge chairs, umbrellas and tables for their use. We gave out wristbands and had designated servers that took food and drink orders. We were told over and over again that our reception was every wedding guests' dream; A big pool party with all your family and friends where you were served all your drinks and food. We also used a hotel room right by the pool as a cabana. The staff set it up with a big corner day bed, a table for a candy buffet my bridesmaids setup, a water station and extra seating for those who needed to get away from the heat and for our polaroid guest book station. Everyone had an absolute blast and most importantly this bride and my groom had a perfect experience on our very important day. We highly and passionately recommend The Saguaro for your wedding venue.
