The Saguaro Scottsdale

We are so happy we chose The Saguaro Scottsdale for our wedding day! The venue has such a fun vibe, great space, vibrant colors and pretty patio views. The staff was incredible too! They were all so friendly, attentive and professional.

When I got engaged 10 months ago, The Saguaro was high on my list of venues, due to the colorful and fun feel of the hotel, as well as the central location to Old Town. When I took my fiancé, we both immediately fell in love with the location, and the adventure began! I initially was working with a different venue coordinator who ended up resigning. Ari was her replacement. Initially I was nervous bc the original person and I had spoken about so much, I wasn't sure if Ari would be on the same page. But she was perfect, she picked up right where I had left off and the transition was seamless. She was responsive leading up to the event and helped me with any question (or million questions!) I might have. Our wedding weekend finally came and as I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by Jamie, the hotel valet. He immediately knew who I was and greeted me by name. We checked in and quickly got to our rooms. I had booked a suite for the weekend and it was the perfect size to accommodate my hair/makeup person, getting ready photographs, and hosting guests throughout the weekend. When we arrived in the room there were a few small issues (clogged sink and missing picture), but Elisha and Mary Beth took care of them within the hour. The wedding went off flawlessly. The grounds were beautiful, the hotel worked seamlessly with my outside vendors and made sure everything was in place, the food was delicious, the drinks were strong, and the waitstaff were amazing. My guests could not stop complimenting my impeccable taste for selecting this venue. They loved everything as much as I did and were so excited to experience the wedding in that way. I couldn't have asked for anything more, it was truly the perfect day. After the wedding (and on Friday and Sunday) we spent a ton of time at the pool. Again, the staff there were pleasant and attentive. My favorite thing about the pool is the temperature control, so in the hot summer months it stays cool and refreshing, which is impossible to find in the hot Phoenix weather. Overall I couldn't have asked for a more amazing experience. My husband and I can't wait to return for a mini getaway or our anniversary celebration (hopefully both so I don't have to wait a full year to return!!). I would recommend this hotel and wedding venue to anyone who's looking for a fun, unique, and intimate affair. It was absolute perfection. Thank you!!!

We held our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at the Saguaro Hotel in Scottsdale, and could not have been happier with the service they provided! We were a bit nervous after originally booking when we found out the original catering manager was no longer with the company, but his replacement Marissa was the best thing to happen to us! She totally understood our vision for the wedding, and was so helpful in coordinating everything in the days leading up to and during the wedding. All of the bartenders, servers, and check in staff were also very helpful and friendly! The venue itself is very unique, and our guests couldn't stop raving about how cool of a venue it was! I can't wait to see how all of the pictures turn out! Thank you again to the Saguaro for making our wedding the best day of our lives!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Distrito on Friday, December 20th, 2013, and we had an EXCELLENT experience. We had our wedding at the W hotel, so we were looking for something that was a little contrasting to the W, while still being fun and unique. The Saguaro fits that description perfectly. Not only is the decor bright and beautiful, but it made a huge impression on our out of town guests. Our rehearsal dinner consisted of ~40 people, and had taco stations (fish and chicken), a guacamole station, churros, and signature margaritas. All of the food was fantastic, but the guacamole and the fish tacos were exceptional. This isn't surprising since Distrito is Iron Chef Jose Garces' restaurant, but those two items were a real hit. The staff was very accommodating to us and, even moved us into the cool "Old Town Whiskey" room (normally reserved for parties with $2,500+ commitment) because there was no other party using that room that night. Overall, we had an amazing experience. I highly recommend this spot for a rehearsal dinner, wedding venue, or even just for dinner!

We absolutely LOVED our wedding and the Saguaro was a huge part of it. Kelly, the catering manager, is absolutely phenomenal. We chose the Saguaro because we wanted some place trendy, close to a lot (the majority of our guests were from out of state), and had great food. The food was seriously amazing. We had tacos for cocktail hour and everyone raved- and is still raving- about them. The cost is really reasonable too-our wedding budget was about $12,000 total. The only thing we had a hard time with was reserving the rooms and the "wedding block"-LOTS of mistakes and hassles. However, the bridal suite is AMAZING. Huge, lots of room, and we ended up only having to pay for one night (out of 5) since we had so many guests staying there. Check out the Saguaro!!!

This hotel was perfect. Great group rate, perfect location, and fun unique atmosphere! Staff was great to work with.
